Last time, Daemon's defeat has yet to come. Being told of a prophecy, the children might have found a way to truly defeat him. Daemon, unleashing his full power in his true form, has attacked. With his true power unleashed, it seemed like the kids can do nothing against him. Just then, they solved the prophecy and has now unlocked a new power where Veemon and Patamon has digivolved to their highest forms.

Fulfill the Prophecy

Musuko and Benson couldn't believe what they were seeing. In fact, none of them could. Veemon and Patamon just warped digivolved. That means they have digivolved to their highest forms, UlforceVeedramon and Seraphimon. Seeing those two standing there, everyone was amazed at what they saw. Those two digimon simply looked incredible.

"Amazing... Those kids actually managed to get their digimon to digivolve to mega!" Davis said in his astonishment.

"I know Seraphimon, but who is the other one?" T.K. asked. Izzy did a quick look on the analyzer.

"That there is UlforceVeedramon. He's got some power himself." Izzy said. Musuko and Benson were amazed at what their partners have become, but the ones most affected by this sight was Tai and Matt. Seeing this surely brought back a lot of memories.

"So, you managed to get your digimon to digivolve to mega." Daemon said as he didn't seem bothered by it. "It doesn't matter. Do you really think freshly new megas can defeat one of vast experience like me?" He was right about that. This power is all new and he has vast experience. Is this really the best way to defeat him? "Well, we'll just have to see what you two can..." Daemon didn't even finish that sentence. UlforceVeedramon was the first to attack him as he landed a strike against him. It was so strong that it knocked him down the street. Seeing that snapped everyone back to reality, but still shocked at what UlforceVeedramon just did.

"Not bad." UlforceVeedramon said as he liked his new strength. He certainly didn't stop. He flew after Daemon and managed to get behind him. Daemon turned to see him only to have UlforceVeedramon kick him in the back and knock him into the air. After that, UlforceVeedramon attacked him again and again, bouncing him around in the air like a pinball game. With one powerful kick, UlforceVeedramon knocked Daemon back to the ground.

"Incredible!" Musuko said.

"You're right." UlforceVeedramon said as he flew down. "It certainly does feel incredible."

"Easy, UlforceVeedramon. Don't overdo it." Seraphimon said.

"I'm sorry, Seraphimon. Did you want a turn?" UlforceVeedramon questioned. That was right when Daemon pulled himself out of the ground.

"You'll pay for that!" Daemon shouted as he tried to attack once again, but Seraphimon met the attack and gave Daemon a powerful uppercut that knocked him into the air. When that happened, Seraphimon flew up to his level. One he got there, Seraphimon unleashed a series of strikes at incredible speed. Daemon couldn't get himself out of there. With one elbow strike straight down, Daemon plummeted to the ground and crashed into it.

"This is amazing!" Natalie said.

"Yeah! I can't believe how powerful those two are!" Mason said.

"I never knew digimon could become this strong!" Koji claimed. Daemon was surely now surprised by the strength those two hold. As he pulled himself up, he tried to comprehend what was happening to him.

"This is absurd. It's preposterous!" Daemon complained. "How can these two be getting the better of me like this? How can they be this strong when they just recently digivolved to mega?"

"Master Daemon!" Vilemon called as he flew down to him. "What's going on? How are you losing? Is there anything I can do to help?" Daemon did seem to be in a predicament, and he might be in real trouble. UlforceVeedramon flew right at Daemon and was set to end it right there. He had a sword of energy extend out of his arm and tried to strike him down.

"Maybe there is." Daemon said as he grabbed a hold of Vilemon.

"Wait! What are you doing?!" Vilemon questioned. Just as UlforceVeedramon swung his sword at Daemon, Daemon held out Vilemon and used him as a shield. "This isn't what I meant!" He cried before he burst into data. UlforceVeedramon was surprised Daemon did that, but it provided Daemon an opportunity. Daemon struck UlforceVeedramon with some serious force and knocked him back, but Seraphimon was able to catch him.

"Are you okay?" Seraphimon questioned.

"Yeah, but I can't believe he just sacrificed Vilemon like that." UlforceVeedramon claimed.

"Now, you two will perish!" Daemon shouted as he flew right at him. However, Seraphimon and UlforceVeedramon flew at him and grabbed a hold of him by the arms. The two of them pushed him back and were pushing him away from all of this.

"Hey! Wait for us!" Musuko called as he and his team hurried to go after them.

"Garudamon, give us a ride!" Natalie called. Garudamon held out her claws for the kids to climb on. Once they were on, Garudamon flew off with Angewomon and Lillymon following after.

"Wait!" Sora called. "Guys, we can't just stand here and watch this unfold!" She tried to follow after her daughter, but Tai held out his arm and stopped her from going anywhere. "Tai? What are you doing?"

"We have to leave this to the kids." Tai said.

"What? What are you talking about?" Kari questioned.

"I mean that this is there fight, not ours." Tai said. "They're the ones meant to save and protect both worlds now. I get that it's hard to accept, especially when they're so young, but it's time."

"Tai, you can't be serious." Sora said.

"No. Tai is right." Matt said as he was in actual agreement. "I finally understand it. I finally began to understand after seeing what we just saw with Musuko and Benson. It's time for us to pass the torch to the next generation. We have to accept that our time protecting both worlds is over and it's up to our children."

"We'll step if we need to, but we have to trust they can do this." Tai claimed. The parents all understand that, but it's still rather difficult for them to do that. It's always hard for parents to see their children growing up.

...

The Fight

"Hallowed Knuckle!" Seraphimon gathered light around his fist and launched it right at Daemon. Daemon crossed his arms and blocked the attack, but he was still pushed back a little. UlforceVeedramon and Seraphimon continued to try and fight against Daemon, but it was still rather early to tell who is winning this fight.

"My turn!" UlforceVeedramon called as he tried attacking with his sword again, but Daemon was able to dodge every swing thrown at him. As those three digimon kept fighting, the kids watched from the sky.

"Ha! Our digimon are awesome!" Musuko said as he was loving it. "I didn't know they could become something like this!"

"I did." Benson said, but Musuko didn't get it. "Don't you remember when we fought Diaboromon, Musuko? Those are the same forms they took before. This must be they're completed looks, what they look like when we have full control over that power."

"Really?" Musuko wondered. He thought back to the first fight he and Benson had and was starting to see he was right. Those are the same forms their digimon took before, but they haven't had control over it. "Come to think of it, the same thing happened with Tankdramon." He remembered that time as well as it was the same as before. "That happened because of Koji."

"Was Koji, who had the power of the crest of light, the key all along?" Benson questioned. They both looked at Koji and wondered if that was really the case.

"What?" Koji questioned.

"Wonder about that later. Look!" Natalie said as she pointed to the fight.

"Evil Inferno!" Daemon unleashed his flames once again, but UlforceVeedramon formed a shield out of energy and was able to block the flames once again. As UlforceVeedramon held the flames back, Seraphimon flew up from behind him and unleashed an intense light that blinded Daemon. When he was, UlforceVeedramon flew at Daemon with his sword ready. UlforceVeedramon smashed right into him and it looked like he was able to deal a powerful blow.

"Get off me!" Daemon shouted. It seems like the attack wasn't enough as he managed to smash his fist against UlforceVeedramon and knocked him away.

"Double Dusk!" Daemon formed magic around his claws and smashed them against UlforceVeedramon with him being knocked to the ground.

"UlforceVeedramon!" Seraphimon called, but Daemon flew at him. He grabbed Seraphimon by the head and smashed him against the ground.

"Even if we're not megas, we've got to do something!" Lillymon said.

"She's right." Angewomon said. "We must do what we can to help those two, even if it's a little."

"Agreed." Garudamon said as she put the kids down and they went to attack. Garudamon charged at Daemon with her claw out, but Daemon flew at her and smashed his fist against her. Lillymon got her cannon ready to fire, but Daemon's attack was faster as he unleashed a blast of fire and managed to hit her. Angewomon flew right at him, but Daemon simply swung his arm around and knocked her right into a building.

"He's still too strong!" Mason said.

"I am going to tear all of you apart!" Daemon shouted as he unleashed more of his destructive power. It was going to get really bad for them, but then he stopped. He held a part of his lower belly and acted like he was in pain.

"What's with him?" Mason questioned.

"Look there! He looks hurt!" Koji pointed out. All of them took a closer look and saw that Daemon was wounded. It looked like he was stabbed.

"How did that happen?" Musuko questioned.

"It must have been with UlforceVeedramon from his last attack." Benson said. "Daemon must have stopped his last attack a little late and he got wounded from it."

"That means we have a chance!" Musuko said. "UlforceVeedramon! Seraphimon! Aim for that spot!"

"You got it!" UlforceVeedramon said as he and Seraphimon flew back into the air.

"It's time to make the prophecy come to fruition." Seraphimon claimed. The prophecy foretold that Daemon would meet his demise, and the time for that part has come now.

"Strike of the Seven Stars!" Seraphimon formed seven balls of light and shot them all straight at Daemon.

"Ray of Victory!" UlforveVeedramon fired a rainbow beam from the V on his chest. The ray fired into the seven lights and caused their powers to combine. When Daemon saw the attack coming, he held out his arms and tried to stop the attack. He focused on trying to hold it back, but there was a lot of force and power behind it. It was like a rhino going against an elephant in a test of strength.

"You...can't...defeat me!" Daemon claimed as he tried his best to hold the attack back. He kept at it, but his wound was starting to get worse as the pain was getting to him. Despite that, he was still holding on.

"Come on! Come on!" Musuko said.

"Just a little more." Natalie said.

"We've almost got him." Koji said.

"Maybe we can add some of our own power!" Angewomon said. She, Garudamon, and Lillymon added their own little power to it as they all blasted against Daemon and tried to weaken his defenses. It seems to have worked as Daemon let the energy of the attacks slip and it was pressing against his whole body. The pressure and power was causing the wound he sustained to become worse and was spreading over his body.

"This...can't...be! It...can't...end like this! NNNNOOOOOOOOO!" Daemon shouted, his voice echoing as his body was literally tearing apart. His body broke away into data with the force and power of the attack getting the better of him. He broke away until there was nothing left. The prophecy foretold that Daemon would be defeated once this new power awakened...and it has come true. Daemon is gone.

"He's gone..." Musuko said as the kids were astonished at what they saw.

"Is it for real this time?" Mason questioned.

"I think... I think it is. I think we won!" Musuko cheered. The kids were so happy. Them and their digimon cheered as they managed to win against one of those most powerful digimon they have ever seen.

"Kids!" All of them looked behind them and saw their parents arriving when it was too late. They missed the show and saw Daemon was no more. They almost couldn't believe it.

"Did... Did you kids really defeat Daemon?!" T.K. said as they were all amazed.

"We did! You just missed it! That guy is history!" Musuko cheered. This was certainly glorious.

"Koji! Musuko!" Kari called as she rushed to both of her sons and took them in her arms. She was so happy that they managed to defeat Daemon, but even happier that it was over and both of her sons are safe now. All of the parents felt the same way. They were so proud of their children for doing what they were born to do. Rather than being afraid like most kids were, those five stood their ground and was able to defeat this evil. Tai was most pleased to see this.

"It's really a sight to behold, don't you think?" Davis said as he stood with his brother.

"You can say that again." Tai said. "Both of your sons are really something incredible, Davis."

"What are you talking about? I already knew my boys were great, but all five of those kids did something amazing here." Davis said.

"Maybe, but Musuko led them well." Tai said. "When the rest of them were uncertain or scared, Musuko pushed ahead and gave them the courage they needed. Besides, Musuko and Benson wouldn't have been able to unlock that power without Koji. We always knew hope and light were powerful, but it looks like the power of miracles itself is just as powerful."

"Take some pride in yourself." Davis said. "They're both your nephews. I guess courage, power, and the ability to stand and fight for what's right runs in the family." He was right about that, and Tai certainly felt some pride in it. "Besides, it was a team effort. Each of us have tried to be a good influence on each of our kids instead of our own, guiding them and helping them grow. We've done a great job with these kids. They've already come so far. Before we know it, they might even surpass us." Even though their not all directly related to each other, all of them have acted like one big family to each other and to the others' kids. Right now, Davis and Tai are feeling a lot of pride in their kids. It's safe to say now that the next generation really does have what it takes to keep both worlds safe and help in maintaining the peace between two worlds that their parents have built. They're going to need that for what's to come because what they didn't know was that there was something watching them.

Hyperspace

In an unknown hyperspace, there was actually a floating fortress. Inside the fortress was someone that was able to observe the battle as he helped himself to a drink.

"Oh dear... It looks like Daemon was defeated. No matter." The individual claim as he and three others were getting ready to take their turn in the upcoming battle. "Soon, we shall have tremendous power and become all-powerful. So powerful that both worlds shall bow to our will." The adventure is not over.

After defeating Daemon, the children are looking forward to some relaxing. Of course, they must still deal with the aftermath of all that has happened. This adventure affected a lot of people, and what they don't know is that there is more to come.
