TWs: Flashback/nightmare, hopeless pining, dramaticism, brief threats, ominousness. Stay safe :)

"What did you two do!?" An Aussie voice yelled.

"We were only doing what was best for the safety of the other planets."

"What was best- are you two insane!? You guys pushed him over the edge of the Kuiper belt! No one goes that far, no one even knows what's past it!"

"Uranus-"

"No! I'm sorry for yelling, Jupiter, but this is just... you two are supposed to be our Protectors, yet you harm another of your kind?" His voice cracked, "I never want to see your spheres again. At least, not for a while."

"But-"

"We understand."

"But, Jupiter-"

"This is for the best, Saturn."

"Mmh, alright..."

"Just know, Uranus, what X did was beyond forgiving... we had to resort to this."

"Yeah, right... you call him the monster, yet you're just a big hypocrite."

He blinked and before he knew it, he was in a different area. He noticed he was near the Kuiper belt.

"Uranus!" A voice shrieked.

It happened before he could react, his whole body jolting as he felt a large object crash into his side.

SMASH- SLAM

He let out a scream as his vision faded to black.

...

Uranus opened his eyes, blinking the tiredness out of them as his vision settled, 'What was that just now...?'

He hummed as he quickly took out his diary, taking note of the strange dream. He took notes of every dream he had, even the ones with his hopeless crush.

'Could it have been a memory from before...?' The light blue planet thought. It made the most sense, plus he did have a conversation about the fifth giant with Jupiter and Saturn.

Maybe he was a bit harsh on them. They were only doing what they thought was best for the solar system.

'I should apologize to them later...' He turned his gaze towards the Kuiper belt, 'But for right now, I should find Neptune and meet X.'

He took a deep breath, slowly drifting further into the depths of space.

"...know that I'm never leaving, 'cause I'm Mr. Snow, til death we'll be freezing- yeah, you are my home, my home for all seasons, so come on, let's go."

Mars watched from afar as the Earth sang to Luna while putting a braid in the moon's hair. He leaned forward, propping his head up with his hand as he listened intently with a smile on his face.

"Let's go below zero and hide from the Sun, I love you forever where we'll have some fun- yes, let's hit the North Pole and live happily, please don't cry no tears now, it's-"

"Ahem." A cough spooked Mars out of his daze.

"Jupiter! When did you get there?" Mars asked, looking at the giant Celestial.

"I've been here for a few minutes." Jupiter spoke, quirking an eyebrow, "Enjoying the view?"

"Wha- oh! No, not really- I mean, the Earth is a great view, but I wasn't-" Mars shook his head.

"Calm down, buddy, you're acting like I'm going to hurt you," Jupiter spoke, raising his hands.

"Well, aren't you and Saturn... protective, over the Earth, ever since what happened with Theia and Proto?"

"Sure, but Saturn and I know when to let the Earth make his own decisions." Jupiter shrugged, "He's over 4 billion years old, I doubt he'd allow us to baby him."

Mars chuckled, "Yeah, you're right about that."

"Besides, we still protect him from other things." Jupiter pointed out, "Such as when he's about to make a stupid decision and we always tell him that his actions have consequences."

"That's like every day, though."

"Exactly. You'd think he'd have short-term memory."

"Admit it! You called me dad!" A voice exclaimed, prompting the others to look over.

"Put me down, Earth!"

"Not until you admit it!"

Luna huffed, trying to get out of the Celestial's grasp. He puffed his cheeks, exasperated as he relaxed in his arms, "Please put me down... Dad."

Earth squeaked, reluctantly letting his moon go, "You're so adorable...!"

"No, I'm- are you crying!?" Luna exclaimed.

"No! This is just excess water from my oceans." Earth wiped at his eyes, "Very... salty."

"Earth..." Luna sighed, dropping into his arms for a hug.

Mars smiled at the interaction, feeling his heart thumping from deep inside his chest.

Jupiter crossed his arms, noticing the look on Mars' face, "Hurt his feelings and I'll toss you into the void of space."

Mars' eyes widened as he gulped, slowly backing away, "Understood, Mr. Jupiter."

"Does this mean we can call Earth 'dad' now!?" Deimos exclaimed.

"Don't be ridiculous, Deimos! We can't have two Dads!" Phobos spoke.

"Why not!?"

"It would just be confusing!"

"Oh, yeah... then Dad 1 and Dad 2?"

"Much better!" Phobos nodded.

"Phobos, Deimos... please." Mars interrupted their spiel, "You're not calling the Earth anything but his name."

"Awh...!"

"Hey, Mercury- what will they call the first interstellar currency?" The Sun spoke, grinning as the small Celestial looked up.

"Uh, I don't know-"

"Starbucks!" The Sun cackled, Mercury laughing slightly.

"Oh, that was a good one, Sun. Haha..." Mercury averted his eyes towards Venus, who rolled his eyes at the joke.

"I know! Anyway, why did-" The Sun stopped his sentence short, his head perking up.

"Sun...? You okay?" Mercury questioned.

The grin on the Star's face slowly fell into a grimace as his eyes swept across the entire solar system. Something felt off. The feeling lasted for a few seconds before the Sun smiled once again.

"Everything's fine!" He waved it off, "Anyway, where was I...? Oh, why did the star go to school?"

"Uhm..."

"To get brighter! HAHAHAH!"

Mercury frowned, glancing at Venus to see if he noticed it too. The other gave a questioning look, in which Mercury shrugged.

They had both noticed the Sun's pause but had no idea what it was about.

"I'm so excited for you to meet X!" Neptune grinned, peering back at Uranus.

"Yeah, same here, mate," Uranus spoke. They both knew X in the past, but Uranus doubted Neptune remembered.

"Oh, he also prefers to be in his Celestial form..." Neptune mentioned, quickly transforming his body.

"Alright..." Uranus found it odd, but he wasn't going to question it. If it made his old friend more comfortable, he would go ahead and do so. He adjusted his planetoid head, moving a few strands of hair out of his eyes. Even in his Celestial form, he was still on his side most of the time, and no matter what he did, he had stray pieces of hair constantly in his way.

"Let's go, cousin! I think he's this way." Neptune spoke, already flying away.

"Wait up, mate. It's annoying to fly while being in his form." Uranus huffed, following after the other.

"Take a left, and then... X!" Neptune bounced, "I knew I'd find you eventually!"

"Neptune... you're back sooner than I thought." The darker Celestial spoke.

"That's because I have someone for you to meet!" Neptune moved out of the way, pushing Uranus forward, "This is my cousin, Uranus! Uranus, this is-"

"X," Uranus spoke, "It's been a long time."

It took the other a while to speak, his face holding various emotions. He smirked, "Yes, so it has... it's nice to see you again, Uranus."

I had an interview yesterday, and I'm not getting my hopes up, but they said I'm a candidate for the position (and they might hire 3 people). Still not getting my hopes up though in case I don't get it...

Also, I'm working on more SolarBalls playlists- keep an eye on my Tumblr for those coming soon :)
