Party Time

Time has passed for everyone in Bayville. Ever since Jean broke up with Duncan, she stayed well away from him and his friends. Her decision had pleasant results in Scott and everyone else's perspective. It was October now; more specifically, it was almost Halloween. Scott and the others asked Professor Xavier for permission to throw a Halloween party at the Institute. The bald telepath granted their request, as long as they kept it appropriate. Appropriate as in no make-out sessions, so access to the rooms upstairs was restricted as well as the lower levels. The kids took the time to decorate the Institute with Halloween themed decorations, with a little help from Jazz, Sam, Tucker, Jack, and Maddie.

In addition to that, they've also prepared the refreshments early so they'll be ready for the festivities when the time comes. However, the last of the refreshments were planned to come in on the day of the party. Also, Professor Xavier knew a few bouncers and security guards via his connections that he hired to ensure the safety of all party-goers as well as keeping possible troublemakers out. Thankfully, Halloween was falling on a Saturday, much to the delight of everyone at the Institute.

It was currently night. All was silent. Or so it seemed...

At Stoke's County Maximum Security Prison control room, a warning alarm sounded. However, the guard was too distracted listening to music and reading a book to even notice. Suddenly, a red alert alarm blared, interrupting him. Seeing the alarms, he contacts his fellow guards through his walkie-talkie to alert them.

At a cell, the captain of the guards sees the commotion as engineers relayed info to him that systems were going down. Even the emergency override controls were malfunctioning. Then, the cell lifts to reveal its prisoner; a heavily muscled figure in an armor-like suit, shackled and completely submerged in cellular paralysis biofluid. A mutant greatly feared by even the X-Men themselves.

The Juggernaut.

"How should we proceed, sir?" An engineer asks in worry.

The captain was silent for a second before he replied solemnly.

"By making a call."

Inside, Juggernaut's eyebrows began to twitch slightly.

"Students, please. I must ask that you gather downstairs immediately."

All of the X-Men and Jazz were awakened by Professor Xavier's telepathic message. They were in the living room waiting for the telepath, pondering why they were awakened at this hour.

Finally, Xavier arrived with Jack and Maddie behind him.

"I apologized for the late hour." Xavier begins. "But I have just received an urgent summons from Captain Stone."

"Stone? From the penitentiary?" Scott asks.

"Whoa! Whoa!" Evan interrupts. "We're not talking about another Juggernaut breakout, are we?!"

"No. At least, not yet." Xavier assures. "But his containment unit has begun to fail."

"We'll be suited up and ready in five!" Scott said with determination. "Let's go, gang!"

While the others silently groaned and a few whispered, "There goes the party." as they followed Scott, Professor Xavier held up his hand as he said.

"No, I'll be going alone."

Professor Xavier's words stopped everyone as Jack asks in concern.

"Are you sure that is a good idea, professor?"

"If this Juggernaut is as dangerous as you described him, you'll need someone to look out for you." Maddie states out of concern.

"I appreciate both of your concerns." Professor Xavier replies. "However, with Ororo away in Africa and Logan out on the open road somewhere, I'm placing you two in charge here until I return."

"Are you sure, Professor?" Scott asks.

"Yes, Scott." Xavier states. "I understand that some of you are concerned about your planned festivities being compromised, but be assured that your plans will proceed as you have scheduled; just as long you keep things appropriate as I have previously stated."

"We'll keep things under control here. You just worry about your brother." Jean said.

"Yes. Well, thank you. I'll see you in a few days."

Once Professor Xavier begins his departure, everyone else was walking back to their rooms as Scott turned to face the group as he suggests.

"Okay, since we're already up, how about we starting the day with a little Danger Room calisthenics! What do you say?"

Everyone mumbled in disagreement loud enough for Scott and Jean to hear as Maddie said.

"I think it's best if you get some sleep for the remainder of the time."

Scott yawned before he said.

"Okay, you win."

At Stoke's County Maximum Security Prison, Professor Xavier has already arrived at the containment unit as Captain Stone stared at the cell with grave concern.

"I don't like it. It's too risky."

"Shutting down the security grid is the only solution that makes sense." Prfoessor Xavier said.

"But what happens during the 20-second reboot sequence?" Captain Stone asks out fear.

"His paralysis shouldn't wear off that quickly." Professor Xavier states. "He'll be alright."

Captain Stone nodded in understanding. Clearly, there was no other alternative available to solve this.

"Okay! Alert the base to a Code 12!"

At Bayville High, the X-Men, Jazz, Sam, and Tucker were at a bench finalizing their plans on the invitations to verbally give to individuals who they wish to attend the Halloween party.

"So," Scott begins. "Does anyone here want to point out a few suggestions?"

"Actually, I have something I want to say." Danny said while raising his hand up.

"What's up, man?" Evan asks.

Danny pulls out a folded piece of paper from his pocket and hands it to Scott. The older boy opens it to see a list of names that Danny has written down; more specifically, the names of the A-Listers that the ghost boy wished to keep out. However, Star's name was missing from the list due to the fact that Kitty previously informed him that she got to know the blonde girl to see that she wasn't a bad person.

"Those are the names of people I do not want around." he says.

"I see." Scott said as he looked at the list. "These people would cause trouble, eh?"

"Without a doubt." Danny replies as he glances up in annoyance.

"Well, that's more people to deny entry." Scott said after nodding. "Because I'm making sure that Duncan and his friends don't come either."

The others sighed in relief. They didn't make their dislike for him a secret; even Jean was relieved. The redhead didn't want to see him ever again.

"Well, the only thing now is to get our costumes and make sure the guests get their invitations." Sam said.

"Not to mention, make sure the pizza is ordered for the party." Tucker said.

"Too bad that the Gut Bomb won't be able to cater." Kurt said with a disappointed groan.

"Same goes with the Nasty Burger." Tucker adds. "If they ever build one!" he threw up his arms in the process.

The group chuckled at their outbursts. Kurt and Tucker are alike in a way, despite that they have a taste for burgers from different restaurants.

All the while, a japanese girl stared at the group from a distance; mainly, her focus was on a certain boy with brown hair and wore red sunglasses before walking away.

Later during the day, Kitty was walking through the hallways in search of a few certain individuals. It didn't take long for the brunette to locate one of them as she called out.

"Star! Like, wait up!"

Star turned around to see Kitty catching up as she greeted.

"Hi Kitty."

"Do you, like, know where Valerie is?" Kitty asks.

Before Star could answer, Valerie showed up as she asked, getting the two girls' attention.

"Looking for me?"

Kitty smiled as she said.

"Great! Now that you're here. We're throwing a Halloween party at the Institute tomorrow night." Kitty said with enthusiasm. "You, like, want to come over?"

Both girls were stunned at the invitation that Kitty gave them verbally. Both girls smiled at first, but then Star said to her after dropping her smile.

"As long as Paulina, Dash, and certain others I can name, do not come along."

"Oh, that's okay. Danny, like, took care of that." Kitty assures.

Valerie's eyes widened as she asked.

"Danny's hosting, too?"

"Yeah. He, totally, gave a list of people who were not invited." Kitty explains. "So, this Paulina or Dash, whoever they are, they're totally not coming."

Star breathes a sigh of relief as she says.

"Cool. Then, I'm in."

"So am I." Valerie adds.

"Great! I'll, like, write your names down so we'll know you're coming." Kitty said at last.

"Awesome!" Valerie and Star both said excitedly.

In another area of the hallway, Rogue was with Risty. She, too, was informed of the upcoming Halloween party by the mutant goth girl.

"Really? Is it going to be a costume party?" Risty asks.

"Yeah. Why else would it beh called a Halloween party?" Rogue said with a shrug.

Risty smiled as she said.

"Good point, luv. Sure, I'll be there tomorrow night."

"Ah'll see you there, then." Rogue said with a smile.

"You won't mind if I bring a guest, would you?" Risty asks in curiosity.

"Not at all."

All the while, members of the X-Men were giving out invitations to more people they desired to invite. However, two certain individuals who were denied an invite were in an area, fuming as a blonde jock said in subtle anger.

"I can't believe that they kept us out! We're the A-Listers! The VIP of this school! The top of the food chain!"

Then, a Latina had a wicked smirk as she said.

"Perhaps we should give them a Halloween party they'll never forget."

It was lunchtime at Bayville High. The X-Men sat at the usual table. Sam, Tucker, and Jazz were with them as well. Scott had the papers of the names of the guests who were coming to the Halloween party gathered and organized.

"Good thing the bouncers have tablets to make the guest list easier." Jean comments.

"Sure is." Scott agreed.

"Well, now all we have to do is order the pizza tomorrow afternoon and then..."

Danny was interrupted as a football suddenly hits him on the left side of his head.

"Ow!"

The next thing they knew, they heard familiar laughter. Turning to the source, the group see Duncan with his pals laughing as one of them shout

"Bullseye!"

Danny glares at the jock while rubbing his head. Then, he smirked while only his friends and sister noticed.

"Oh no. I know that look." Sam groaned. "What are you scheming?"

"Finally found a reasonable use for these." Danny said as he pulled out a jar

The group sees the jar full of green plants of some kind. However, the way the leaves are shaped was oddly familiar.

"What are these?" Kurt asks as he is about to open the jar.

However, Danny stops him as he warns.

"I'd keep those inside if I were you. I had to use latex gloves to get these in this jar. If they touch your skin, you'll regret it."

Then, it hit the group like a ton of bricks as Kitty asks in panic.

"Is that, like, poison ivy?!"

"Yep."

Tucker snickered as he asked.

"What do you plan to do with them, put them in his shoes or down his shirt?"

"Tempting, but they have a better use, in his pants."

With the exception of Sam, the group had to use every ounce of self-control to stiffle a laughter outburst as Evan comments.

"Dude! He won't be able to sit for weeks if you do that!"

"Normally, I'd be against that idea, but in Duncan's case, I'll make an exception." Jean said through snickering.

Suddenly, Sam snatches the jar away from Danny.

"Hey!"

"No, you don't!" Sam glares at Danny. "You're not exploiting these innocent yet poisonous plants for some juvenile revenge scheme like what you did with the frogs last year!"

Danny watched Sam walk away before he had a mischievous look while his eyes glowed as he thought

"Oh yeah?"

Sam was at her locker, grabbing her books. However, when she was about to pick up the jar that she previously placed on the floor, the human goth girl saw it missing. She narrows her eyes in annoyance before letting out an exasperated sigh.

"Typical."

In another area of the hallway, Duncan was barely opening his locker to retrieve his own books. However, he was unaware that he was being watched.

Around the corner, Danny saw that he was alone and the hallway was completely empty. He had a grin of mischief before he turned invisible after seeing that the coast was clear before opening the jar.

Duncan had closed his locker when suddenly, an invisible force gave him a wedgie before pulling his underwear over his eyes.

"Hey!"

Then, the back of his pants are pulled open before the poison ivy was dumped into the opening. A chain reaction began almost instantaneously as Duncan let out a scream of agonizing discomfort as he ran down the hall while scratching his butt and thighs profusely. Once the hallway was all clear and no one was around, Danny turned visible as he laughed at the jock's misfortune.

"Wish I had a camera for that."

Duncan continues running while scratching himself and crying all the way to the nurse's office to try and soothe the agonizing itch. Then, security rushed to said office, as they got a so-called "Code 83" through their radio.

At Stoke's County Maximum Security Prison, there were armed guards ready with weapons and riot shields. Professor Xavier was in front of the containment unit as Captain Stone was at the switch, ready to activate it.

"On my mark." Xavier commands. "And, now!"

Captain Stone pulls the switch, shutting down the security grid. Professor Xavier quickly gets to work on the circuitry of the control console while the clock counts down from 20 seconds. As the bald man was tinkering the circuits, it sparked for a split second. However, it doesn't deter Xavier.

Suddenly, the alarm goes as the Juggernaut begins to awaken. After checking to see that he can move, the mutant lifts his arms to break the chains that restrain him. Before making another move, Professor Xavier gives the command,

"System re-initialize!"

The system goes back online as the biofluid hurls Juggernaut into dormancy once again. The guards stood down upon Captain Stone's command. However, he noticed that the professor had a worried look while linking his fingers.

"Is there another problem?" Stone asks.

"I'm afraid there is." Professor Xavier replies. "This malfunction; it was not accidental."

"What are you saying?"

"It was sabotage." Professor Xavier said, gravely.

It was Saturday in the afternoon. More specifically, Halloween has arrived. At the Institute, the kids were getting the last of the refreshments ready. Also, the bouncers and security guards arrived as Scott was busy finalizing the list of guests on the tablets of said guards. Jean was helping Jack, Maddie. and Jazz gather large bowls of candy for trick-or-treaters that may stop by. Danny was busy ordering the pizza as Tucker stood by him. The ghost boy was making sure that there was also a selection of vegetarian pizzas for Sam and Kitty specifically. As Danny was about to finalize the order, Tucker snatched the phone away as he said.

"But no anchovies! And I mean, no anchovies! You put anchovies on even one of these things, and you're in big trouble, okay?!"

Rogue picked up a book and threw it at Tucker's head in annoyance as she said.

"Knock it off!"

After Danny took the phone back, he said in apology.

"Excuse my moronic friend." Danny hears Tucker shout "hey" in protest. " But please, no anchovies. That will be all." He remains silent for a minute. "Okay. We'll be expecting you to arrive. Thank you."

Then, Tucker snatched the phone once more as he said

"And the clock's ticking, dude!"

Evan and Kurt snickered in humor as Tucker hung up the phone before getting back to help set up the last of the preparations for the party.

The sun was setting on the horizon as the party officially began. There was a long line of invited costumed guests at the front door while the bouncers were checking off the names. The teen hosts had their costumes on; Scott and Jean were dressed as Jack and Sally from The Nightmare before Christmas, Jazz was dressed as Kim Possible, Kitty was dressed as a 1950s mafia gangster girl, complete with a toy tommy gun that was hi-tech, Kurt had to adjust his image inducer as he donned the costume of a wizard, Evan was dressed as Static Shock, Rogue dressed as a modern vampire with a trench coat to go with it. Last but not least, Danny was dressed as one of the Knights of the Round Table from the movie First Knight.

Outside the front door, the two bouncers were allowing guests that were on the list, one at a time. Somewhere in the line, Valerie was dressed as a ninja as she looked around axiously. However, she heard a familiar feminine voice

"Val? I'm glad you made it."

"Shh!" Valerie whispered in fear. "He might be here!"

Star, dressed as the klassic Cassie Cage from Mortal Kombat 11, rose her eyebrow before she said.

"If you're talking about Nathan, he didn't come. Last I heard, he got a little green around the gills, if you get my meaning."

Valerie breathes a sigh of relief as she says.

"Good. He'll no doubt bug me to dance with him."

"Even better that the shallow brats aren't here either." came Sam's voice.

Star and Valerie see Sam in a black outfit with a metal eyepiece over her left eye.

"I'm surprised that you two are here."

"Yeah. We got invited as you did." Valerie replies.

"Nice Terminatra costume, by the way." Star compliments.

"I'm Terminatra! Not the..."

Sam stopped herself as she realized that Star guessed her costune correctly before she chuckled sheepishly.

"Sorry. Everybody else keeps thinking that I'm the TX and says that I should get a red outfit, blonde wig, and have the eyepiece blue. Others think that I'm the T-800." she says. "I mean, some even had the nerve to say Terminatra is a rip-off, and my favorite movie is completely lame! What is up with this city?!"

Star and Valerie glance at one another before they shrugged, choosing to keep their opinions shut, not wanting to upset Sam. Then, the girls see Tucker dressed as Cyborg from Teen Titans arrive.

"Hey, Tuck." Sam greets.

"Hey Sam!" Tucker greets back. "You look nice as Terminatra."

Sam nodded before Valerie said.

"Come on. We're missing the party!"

They go up as the bouncer first asks Valerie.

"Name?"

"Valerie Gray."

The bouncer taps the tablet before he sees Valerie's name with a green check mark and the word "invited" next to it.

"Go on in."

Sam, Tucker, and Star were also granted entry when the bouncer found their names as invited guests as they went inside the Xavier Institute.

All of the invited guests were having a good time. There were guards blocking the stairs so no one could try to sneak a make-out session. The DJ was blasting music in the mansion. There was a refreshment table with the pizza that was recently delivered. All of the costumed party-goers were dancing to the music. As Sam and Tucker tried to locate Danny, a guy dressed as a soldier said to Sam critically.

"Nice TX costume, but you got it all wrong. You need the blonde hair and red outfit, and your eyepiece needs to be blue."

"I'm Terminatra, and she's not a rip-off!" Sam shouts in anger.

"Whoa, Sam! Chill!" Tucker said, calming his friend down.

"I swear! It's like people are mocking all of my favorite heroes for the sheer fun of it." Sam grumbled in annoyance.

Then, they finally found who they were looking for as the duo see Danny jogging up to them. At first, Sam was happy to see him but then she saw who was with him.

"Sam! Tuck! Glad you guys made it!" Danny said.

"Wouldn't miss it, dude." Tucker replies with a smile.

"Yeah. Thanks for the invite, Danny." Sam said.

However, a female student dressed as a nurse walks by and says to Sam.

"Cool T-800 costume."

"I'm not the..." Sam stops before she lets out a frustrated sigh. "Never mind. I'm going to get a sore throat at the rate I'm going."

Rogue rolled her eyes before she suggested

"Why not just accept that your costume is a lame rip-off of the Terminator franchahse and save your breath on correctin' othahs?"

Sam felt like she got punched in the gut as she glared at Rogue and hissed.

"What did you just say?"

"Ya heard meh." Rogue said in a calm but annoyed tone. "Ya eithah live in denial or too stubborn to know the Terminator franchahse started in 1984 and the lame rip-off came out 20 years after."

"For the last time, Terminatra is not a rip-off!" Sam shouts.

Thankfully, Danny stepped in between the two goth girls as he calmed down both of them.

"Look, guys. It doesn't matter what is what. Just enjoy the party." he looks back at one of the guards who was about to step in but stood down as he saw Danny controlling the situation. "Besides Sam, I don't want you to get thrown out." he turns to Rogue. "And I'm sure you don't want to answer to the professor."

Both girls calmed down as Rogue said.

"Ya rahght."

Then, much to Sam's irritation, a male student dressed as Fred Flintstone sees her costume and comments.

"You got your TX costume all wrong; she wears a red outfit, has blonde hair, and the robot eye is blue, not red."

"This is why I hate mainstreams. They overshadow unique and creative works that take far more impressive decisions." Sam begins to walk away. "If you need me, I'll be at the refreshment table getting some vegan pizza."

"I'll come.with ya, Sam." Tucker said as he followed her.

Danny and Rogue are left alone before the mutant goth girl asks.

"How long til she comes to her senses?"

"With how stubborn she can be, never." Danny replies.

At an area of the Institute, Jean was with Taryn, who was dressed as Kikyo from the Inuyasha anime as the Japanese girl asked out of concern

"So, how have things been with you, now that you and Duncan are no more?"

"To be honest, better actually." Jean replies with a smile.

"That's good. Besides, that jerk had it coming for what happened." Taryn comments before she becomes curious. "By the way, how did he get all of that poison ivy down his pants at school?"

Jean knew the identity of the culprit that pulled it off but chose to remain silent to keep the secret under wraps before she shrugs in an "I don't know" gesture and said.

"Don't know, but whoever pulled it off, I have to say that I wish I saw it myself."

Taryn chuckled before she said in agreement

"Me too."

Outside the Institute, Risty, dressed as a female pirate captain, arrives with her guest named Weber Torke, who was dressed as a fighter pilot for his costume as they approach the bouncer.

"Name?"

"Risty Wilde." Risty gestures to Webber. "This is my guest I have asked to bring along."

The bouncer checks the list to see that Risty eas indeed invited as was her guest before he grants them entry. Then, another individual who was clad in a purple back gorilla costume stepped up to the bouncer.

"Name?"

"Dale Smith."

The bouncer checks the name. However, unlike the other party guest before him, Dale's name had a red x mark and the word "restricted" next to it. The bouncer sighed before he said.

"Sorry, but you're not allowed to enter."

Dale didn't like the fact that he was not allowed inside as he got angry and shouted.

"Hey! I deserve a right to be in here! So I demand entrance to this party, on the grounds that I'm invited."

However, his cohort contacted the guards as he whispered.

"Outside units, we have a party crasher."

While the guards who were standing guard on the grounds of the Institute converge to the Institute entrance, two teens managed to sneak in to the back of the mansion, using the darkness as cover before reaching the door.

Back at the main entrance, the bouncer and the guards were pushing a protesting Dale away before the jock said as he gave in.

"All right! I'm going!"

When he left the Institute, Dale pulled out his cell phone and speed dialed a number. He didn't have to wait long as someone answered his call.

"Did you get in?" he asks.

"Yeah. We're in." a voice said through the other line.

"Okay. Good luck."

Inside the building, Dash and Paulina were in an empty room as the blonde jock hung up his cell phone.

"Okay. Let's crash and trash this party." he says.

Paulina opens a duffel bag before pulling out some clothing.

"Time to punish these hosts for denying us an invitation." Paulina said.

Back at the party, the party-goers were either dancing or socializing with friends. At the refreshment table, Danny and Rogue were approaching as Rogue comments with disgust.

"Fahnally, it's over. Of all songs for the DJ ta play, heh had to play that lame song, What is Love."

"Yeah. At least hip-hop music is playing right now." Danny comments.

Danny grabs an empty cup as he asks in faux etiquette.

"Shall I serve you a beverage, milady?"

Rogue rolled her eyes with a smile before she decided to humor him and playfully says.

"Please do, sir Danny."

They both chuckled as Danny began serving Rogue some punch. At a distance, Sam looked at them with an appalled expression as her pizza slice and plate fell off her shocked hands with a splat. Tucker noticed as he asked.

"What is it, Sam?"

Then, the African boy sees where Sam is looking to see Danny with Rogue before returning his gaze to her. Then, he smirked as he got the idea why she was looking at them with that expression before he grinned and teased.

"Ohhh...guess somebody's a little J-E-ALOUS!"

Tucker laughed himself silly at Sam's expense, much to the goth's annoyance. Suddenly, Sam punches Tucker in the back of his left shoulder, causing him to yelp

"Ow!"

As Sam storms off elsewhere, Evan and Kurt noticed before the African boy said.

"Man, touchy."

"Yeah." Kurt said in agreement.

All the while, the doorbell rang before Jack and Maddie opened the door to see children in costumes and candy bags, saying

"Trick-or-treat!"

Jack and Maddie smiled as they gave handfuls of candy to the kids who were waiting patiently. They even noticed that one of them was dressed as their son in his ghost form as Maddie cooed.

"How adorable."

Back at the party, Danny and Rogue finished their drink before disposing their cups into a garbage can as another hip-hop song began playing as the ghost boys asked.

"Want to dance?"

"Sure." Rogue replies.

The two walk to the area where the other teens were dancing. Elsewhere, Tucker sees Risty as he approaches her with a smile.

"Hey Risty."

Risty noticed as she saw the African boy and greeted him

"Hello, Tucker. I see you're enjoying the party."

"Yeah." Tucker said while rubbing his shoulder where Sam punched him.

"Since mostly everybody is dancing right now, want to dance?" he asks.

Risty mulled it over before she said in response

"Well, since I have nothing else to do and Rogue is currently courting Danny over there, I suppose I can grant you one dance."

"Sweet!" Tucker said with excitement.

Tucker's rather enthusiastic smile caused Risty to believe that perhaps accepting his request to dance was a bad idea after all as she had an unnerving look with her left eye slightly twitching.

Meanwhile, in an empty room, Dash and Paulina were finalizing their look for their costume. Currently, the Latina was on the jock's shoulders as he stumbled around to get to a large mirror while Paulina complained.

"Hold still!"

"I'm trying!" Dash retorts. "How much do you weigh anyway?!"

"Just shut up and keep your head down!"

Despite that Dash can barely see through an oversized poncho, he gets to the mirror as Paulina looks at her reflection. She applied make-up on herself to make her look like a ghost as well as a red line to make it seem like her throat was cut. The Latina was impressed with her work of art as she said with impression.

"Wow! You need to see this!" she grins with mischief. "People will totally freak out!"

"Hey! Let me have a look!" Dash says.

Paulina lifts her poncho so Dash can see the reflection as well. He, too, was impressed as he says

"Nice!"

Suddenly, the Box Ghost pops out as he bellows

"Thank you!"

Skulker and Technus also appear on either side, laughing maniacally and miming their arms resting on the shoulders while the Box Ghost grinned and wiggled his eyebrows as the two teens look on. At first, Paulina looks down, thinking that there is something on her chest while Dash looks up, thinking the same before they realized that there was nothing on them and that there were ghosts in front of them...

"AAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHH!!!!!!"

"EEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEKKKKK!!!!!"

Dash runs as he still carried Paulina on his shoulders while they continue screaming in fear.

The party-goers stop what they are doing as they hear screaming. In confusion, they see Dash running as he and Paulina continue screaming. Even the guards see them as one of them demands

"Who let those two in?!"

All the while, the hosts stare as Kitty asks

"How did they, like, get in here?"

Dash finds the exit and makes a run for it. However, due to him ignoring the overhanging lights and other decorations, Paulina ends up getting clotheslined. The impact caused Dash to stumble as the Latina fell backward as her back and head hit the floor, causing her to grunt in pain.

Suddenly, she screamed as Dash continued running while dragging her in a process as he too screamed in terror.

The party-goers thought that it was part of an entertainment of sorts before they gave thunderous applause and praise to the X-Men while they looked confused at first, but decided to just go along with it

In the Ghost Zone, Skulker, Technus, and the Box Ghost laughed at their successful prank of their own. However, when they see Sidney Poindexter, he had a disappointing look while the trio stopped laughing

"That was so not in the square. Picking on innocent people? You're no better than those bullies in the human world."

"It's Halloween!" Skulker states. "Nobody really cares."

Suddenly, Technus grinned menacingly as he gave Sidney the biggest Texas wedgie, causing the ghostly nerd to cringe hard while having a look of extreme discomfort.

"This...feels...awfully familiar." Sidney groans.

Back at the Xavier Institute, the party-goers were still having a good time as an RB song played. With Risty, she managed to ditch Tucker after sharing one dance with him. Eventually, a slow song began playing as many couples got together to dance one another. Even Jazz joined in, mainly due to a boy around her age and dressed as a samurai asked her to dance.

Speaking of which, Risty and Weber were walking down the hallway that was left unguarded as the British girl breathed a sigh of relief.

"I'm guessing you didn't like the guy?" Weber asks.

"Well, Tucker may be cute, but he's rather..." Risty paused before she spoke again. "ill-mannered."

They look around the hallway.

"If I remember correctly, since I've only been here once, I think this hallway leads to the library." Risty comments.

However, Weber sees an open elevator door as he asks.

"Where does that go?"

Risty pondered for a minute before she said.

"I think it leads down to a basement that has a computer."

Weber's curiosity piqued as he said.

"Did you say, computer?"

Back at the dance, Danny was currently slow dancing with Rogue. The mutant goth girl was having a good time with the boy.

"It's been a whahle since Ah last danced with a boy." she comments.

"Really?" Danny asks with a raised eyebrow.

"Yeah. The last boy Ah danced with ended up in a coma when mah powahs first kicked in." Rogue explains.

Danny nods in understanding.

"Well, I know you have to be careful around everyone else, but around me, you don't have anything to worry about."

Rogue smiled at Danny's assurance. Ever since they both found out that her powers do not affect him in any way, the mutant goth girl was slowly opening up more. However, Danny and Rogue looked at each other in the eyes as they both felt like time had stopped around them.

"Danny..." Rogue whispered

"Rogue..." Danny whispered bakc in response.

They felt like their bodies went on autopilot as Danny and Rogue began to slowly close their eyes while their faces were drawing closer to one another.

At a distance, Sam gasped in shock as she shook her head slowly in an "oh no" fashion, seeing what her best friend was going to do.

Right when Danny and Rogue were about to share their first kiss, something caught the former's attention as the ghost boy instantly looked up to the entrance of a certain hallway. Rogue noticed as she asked with worry

"What is it?"

"Wasn't there supposed to be a guard blocking that hallway?" Danny asks with worry.

Rogue looks to see where Danny was looking as she said to him

"Yeah, there was supposed to beh one." she looks to him with worry. "Ya don't suppose...?"

The two had a look of dread, knowing where certain areas of the hallway led to as Rogue called to Jean through her mind.

"Jean! Get the othahs! Weh got a problem!"

Sam sees that something interrupted them. Even though she breathes a sigh of relief, she still felt that something was wrong.

With Risty and Weber, they exit the elevator and walk into the lower levels.

"Now, this is one cool basement!" Risty comments with impression. Weber runs to a door that was in front of them before he sees a device on the wall next to it.

"Electronic lock! The computer's got to be behind this door!" he says with excitement.

Weber pulls out a device and connects it to the lock as Risty asks

"You can hack security codes?"

"It's a computer; they're all the same."

Risty watches with glee and clasped hands as Weber successfully unlocks the door. They enter the room. However, a faint glow catches Weber's eye as he asks in curiosity.

"What's that light over there?"

Weberb and Risty head to the source of the glow to see the Ghost Portal open as the vortex swirled endlessly. The two teens were awestruck at the equipment, and the console that Weber guessed controls the portal. Risty sees a rack full of hi-tech weaponry stowed

"What is this?" she whispers.

Looking at the portal, Weber gets a shiver going down his spine before he decides to call it quits and says

"I think we better get to that large computer you just mentioned."

Risty nods before they leave the lab. They reach another door before Weber hacks the security door again. Once the door opens, he and Risty enter the Cerebro room as the boy said

"I take it back. This is awesome!"

The X-Men were out of their costumes and suited up in their uniforms as Danny transformed into his Phantom-X form. Once they converge in secret, the team head to the elevator while their ghostly teammate turns intangible and phases through the floor as he says

"I'll meet you guys downstairs."

The X-Men board the elevator before it takes them to the lower levels of the Institute. Once it opens, they see Danny standing in one spot while looking at the door.

"Danny?" Jean asks with worry.

"Somebody's inside." Danny comments with worry.

Back in the Cerebro room, Weber was adjusting the headgear of the machine as he comments with impression.

"This is beyond cutting edge! But by reconfiguring the headgear to accept me as the primary user, I think I can get full access."

As Weber dons the headgear, he starts typing commands of the Cerebro computer. After it scans his eye, it grants him access as Risty looks on.

"Suppose they have any games on there?" she asks.

"I hope so!"

They see files of the New Mutants, as they both assumed they were game characters. However, there was one particular that caught the girl's attention as she said.

"Wait! Go back one!"

Weber did so as they saw a file of Phantom-X. Risty cupped her chin in curiosity as she comments

"Odd...the white-haired character looks an awful lot like that Danny fellow I've seen in school."

Risty shrugs her shoulders before she sees another file that piqued her interests.

"Can you download those two files?"

"No problem!" Weber said while typing. "I'll burn you a DVD."

After the download was complete, Weber grabbed the disc and handed it to Risty.

"Now then, Arcade needs to concentrate."

"Um... okay. I'll just bump upstairs to make a quick appearance and then be back."

"Yeah. Whatever." Weber says as he waves her off.

As Risty walks away, Arcade is viewing more files as he sees the schematics of the Blackbird and other vehicular machinery. However, there was one particular file that got his attention as he asked himself

"What the heck is this?"

When he reads the information, Weber's eyes widen as the boy becomes shocked.

"Danny Phantom is..."

In the lab, where the Ghost Portal was located, Danny sealed the shutter doors as he looked around. Then, something that looked like footprints on the floor caught his sight as Danny squat down to get a closer look.

"What is it?" Scott asks.

"Someone paid a visit to my parents' lab." Danny says in response. "Good thing nothing was taken."

"But we're not done looking yet." Scott comments.

With Weber, he was shocked as he closed the file.

"Okay! That's enough shock for one day."

Then, he sees another particular file, thinking it was a game as he said.

"Huh! Danger Room looks promising."

When Weber accessed it, he didn't realize that he alerted the X-Men as they all converged to the Danger Room.

"Looks lahke someone started up the Danger Room!" Ah can't even get the door to open!" Rogue comments.

Jean turns to Danny as she asks

"Danny? Think you can get us through?"

"No problem!" Danny replies as he stretched his fingers to loosen them up.

They huddle around Danny before he turns them intangible. They entered the Danger Room to see that it was online. However, once they team turn tangible, the weapons instantly lock on to them

In the Cerebro room, Weber sees the X-Men, thinking the game characters have arrived.

"All right! Game on!"

The Danger Room becomes fully operational as the X-Men fought like they've never had or ever will again.

Spyke fired several spikes at a turret. Suddenly, two very large saw discs were launched. He ducks in time as the razor-sharp projectiles imbed in the wall.

Shadowcat ran from turrets that used mechanical tentacles to attempt capturing her. Once several steel walls popped up from the floor, she phased through seven of them. However, she didn't see the eighth one as she crashed into it, knocking herself out.

Rogue was doing her best to dodge several laser turrets that kept firing at her. When she trips, the goth girl looks to see the machine preparing to fire. To her salvation, a neon green blast of energy hits the turret, destroying it. She looks up to see her savior responsible for delivering the blast; Phantom-X.

"Thanks." Rogue says in gratitude as Danny helps her up.

"You're welcome."

Cyclops and Jean were holding their own against more weaponry while Nightcrawler did his best to teleport out of harm's way and a few turrets destroying each other in the process.

"Any ideas?!" Jean asks as she uses her telekinetic shield to protect her teammate

As the X-Men regrouped, Danny said

"I've got one, but it'll be risky!"

"Like what?" Shadowcat asks.

"It doesn't matter!" Danny said while he got in front while more weapons began going online. "Just keep your covered and stay at my back at all times!"

Rogue had a bad feeling on Danny's warning as she said

"Ah thank weh bettah do what he says!"

Once the X-Men did what Danny instructed, the ghost boy inhaled deeply as he gathered energy within his body. Then, they see him unleash his ghostly wail. To his friends who have never seen him use that power before, it sounded like a moaning ghost as they see energy sound waves emitting from his open mouth.

Danny used several bursts of his ghostly wail as the X-Men stayed behind him, regardless when he turned to a different direction. Due to all of that energy being used, he was starting to weaken. However, the attack did enough damage that the system shut down completely. The ghost boy felt so weak that he collapsed while transforming back to his human form.

"DANNY!"

Rogue rushed in to catch him before he hit the floor while the other X-Men gathered around the two.

"Are ya okay?"

Danny was breathing heavily as he replied.

"I'll be...fine."

"Dude! What was that you used?!" Spyke asks

"That...was my...ghostly wail." Danny replied through labored breathing. "It's...part of...my ghost powers."

The X-Men looks at the damage as Nightcrawler comments.

"That power trashed the Danger Room."

"Also...I called in...the calvary." Danny said.

"Aw man!"

Weber saw that the screen was static after the ghostly wail was unleashed. Even he heard the sound of it in the Cerebro room.

"The sound effects were killer! But man, that character was good!"

As Weber typed to try to find another game, the door opens behind him as the Fentons, Sam, and Tucker see him. Jack steps forward to the boy as he shouts

"Hey!"

Weber turns around to see that he has company as he becomes shocked that he got busted.

"What do you think you're doing in here?!"

The group decided to end the party sooner than they wanted to. All of the guests were leaving as they thanked the X-Men for the invitation and complimented them that the party was a hit. Even the guards and bouncers departed from the Institute.

As Sam was leaving, she heard a student's criticism of her costume.

"Wrong way to dress as the TX."

Sam lets out an exasperated sigh before she grumbles.

"This is the thousandth time that someone gets my Terminatra costume wrong."

"Someone's in denial." another student whispered, low enough for Sam not to hear.

Meanwhile, Weber was inside the Institute on the couch while the Fenton family, Scott, and Jean.

"You should've known better than to go inside that room, especially our lab!" Maddie scolds.

"She's right!" Jack adds in a scolding. "That equipment is not something to toy with!"

"I'm sorry!" Weber said with regret. "But I couldn't resist such an awesome mainframe, man! That game rocks!"

"Game?" Jean asks.

"Yeah! And the players rocked!" Weber said with excitement. "They had these cool powers and...!"

"Wait!" Rogue interrupts. "Are ya tellin' us that...?!"

"He knows nothing more. He believes it was all a computer game."

In rolled Professor Xavier as the others immediately knew what he did."

"Mr. Torke, the taxi is waiting outside to take you home."

Once Weber gets onboard the cab, the vehicle drives off.

"Well, I must say that despite this unexpected turn of events, you all handled responsibility really well." Professor Xavier commends.

Everyone sees that the interior of the Institute remained completely intact. Sure, there were a few stains here and there, but all of the furniture and antiques remained untouched, as if the party didn't transpire.

"Daniel." Xavier sees Danny look at him. "Mr. Torke became aware of you being half ghost." he sees Danny's panicked look. "Be assured that I've altered his memories, so your secret is safe, as is ours."

"That's a relief." Danny said.

"However, what worries me is someone anticipated the festivities taking place." Xavier said with dread. "Whoever it was, they've orchestrated the sabotage and my trip away in order to gain access to the mansion."

Everyone was worried at Professor Xavier's words as they were unaware of this infiltrator's identity and what the objective was.

Meanwhile, away from the Institute, a woman in a black outfit looks back at the mansion before she leaps into the shadows of the trees. From the shadows, Risty, in her usual clothing, emerged while holding the disc that Weber gave her. She had a sinister smirk as her eyes glowed before walking away to her intended destination.

In a house, a certain blonde jock was bedridden as he had to wear an adult diaper as the doctor prescribed in order to recover from the poison ivy rash he received yesterday.

"Man, that lousy punk, whoever did this to me! I won't be able to sit for weeks!"

And finished. Took a little longer than I thought it would. Stay tuned for Dani's long-awaited appearance in the next chapter.

A/N: After watching Fun and Games, I had to make a ton of changes, using several references that should be easily identified, and then some.

Also, here are the songs in order for scenes that fit perfectly

This is How We Do It by Montell Jordan

What is Love (7-mix) by Haddaway

Same Song (Edit Song) by Digital Underground

Guest (January 14): You'll see.

KevinAguirre8481: Good idea, but I have something better in mind

Vincent: We'll just have to wait and see

Guest (January 10): Oh, I have better plans than that.

pokemon fan 1991: Thank you. Hope you'll like this one.

YuukiHiro98: Yeah, I didn't like Jean being with Duncan in the series. I'm glad you liked the previous chapter. I hope you'll like this one.

Guest (January 9): Automatic no.

NiteOwl18: Yes, but you'll see how he will stand up to Dash and Duncan soon.

danifan3000: You've again raised valid points. When you discover that set a chain of events that leads to an evil creation and the destruction of the planet, you'd be traumatized too. You'll see how Danny will fight back against Dash and Duncan soon. Also, "breaking into the girls' locker room", that's voyeurism which IS considered a crime. True that in the episode Doublecross My Heart, Sam did get angry after discovering Danny spying on her date with Elliot/Gregor, but in this story, that event won't come to pass. In a way, Sam feels threatened since she's no longer the only goth girl because of Rogue being a goth herself. However, when the chapters based on the events of Phantom Planet are posted, you'll see how Rogue will set Sam straight when the latter gives Danny a hassle on being normal.

Jesse: I have some changes in mind on that part.

Fiction Realm: You'll just have to be patient and wait.

DJ Rodriguez: Yes. Dash and Duncan are foolish. For Star's reason, it'll be revealed in due time. Rogue will set Sam straight soon.

Jebest4781: Thank you for the compliment.
