Thank you to everyone who has favorited, followed or reviewed this fic so far.

Thanks a lot to Brainstorm Sorcerer and gussygus28 for their help with this chapter, couldn't have done it without them.

Plus this one has a plotline I've wanted to do for a long while.

Also, I realized I forgot to put Giles in the Xander/Anya wedding bit of last chapter, so let's just say he was away from where the Demon was and handling the rowdy members of Xander's family, so he arrived where Derek beat the Demon after Derek was sent back.

Enjoy.

TW: Thank you for the review and glad it was very good.

Chapter 36- Trial of the Flash

Earth-21, Metropolis, LexCorp

Lex loved it when a plan came together. That sense of victory was what drove Lex to open one of his best bottles of scotch he would save for special occasions. Maybe even invite Zemo to share their first real victory for their League. Speaking of the Baron, his plan was risky, but as Lex thought to the lab currently dissecting each device, he could not argue with the results. There were some complications on all their parts, he would admit. He himself had to deal with one of the Flash's team members, whether he lived or died was irrelevant, he only saw him for a second and he left no trace on the STAR Labs of Earth-1. Zoom left a messier trail, but earned double the reward, gaining the ring and the data he required currently being examined, along with the fact he took down Speedy Gonzales himself, Impulse, or Flash, or whatever he liked to call himself.

The problem came from Zemo's Earth. Four of their members, along with better trained assassins than Lex has ever seen, plus with Zemo's special forces soldiers, led Merlyn, Savage, and even Chase getting involved, they were all beaten. They still managed to procure the portal making device the Avengers created, but after a humbling defeat by Hawkeye. That team's archer is definitely more skilled than Oliver, he can't even imagine Green Arrow cutting through so many soldiers and assassins like he did. Savage was taken out too, along with Adrian, the former would complain and rant, but the latter had half his face burned with acid, along with losing that special sword of his. That's gonna take some time to recover from, if that Talia's face was anything to go by.

Still, as Lex reclined in his office chair, feet resting on his desk, he let himself enjoy the moment. This was a win. The plan was coming together. Not even the Boy Scout could affect his mood.

Speaking of which.

A very familiar, very angry figure blocked his view of Metropolis. A sigh escaped the billionaire genius. Looks like the scotch will have to wait. Pushing a button on his desk, the windows of the office slid apart, allowing the angry Kryptonian to float through the opening and land in front of his desk.

"You know, most people use the door."

"No games, Lex." Clark hid his anger well, but it was in the voice.

"Depends on the game." Lex was entwining his fingers and resting the back of his head against them. "Chess was always a favorite of mine."

"I'm serious."

"Aren't you always?" Lex kept his smirk, even as Clark suddenly appeared next to him, and raised him by the lapels of his suit.

"I'm not joking, Lex." Superman snarled as he looked up to the man that he used to think was his friend. That same damn smirk stayed in place. "You went too far this time."

Chuckling, Lex spoke as his heartbeat remained steady. "Please do tell what grievous crime I have committed today."

"You know what you did." Clark pulled Lex closer. The Kent and the Luthor were polar opposites as fury met indifference. "The people at STAR Labs your new pet slaughtered, it nearly killed Bart too!"

"I'm so sorry…I had nothing to do with that." Clark tossed Lex in his chair and watched as it and he rolled to the door. Rather than make a joke or snap, Lex fixed the lapels of his suit. "Do you mind? This is Italian wool."

"I know you were behind this, Lex!" Clark walked over, his hands placed on the arms of the chair, leaning his face close to the bald billionaire again. How easy it could be to end it, if he were that type of person. If he was like Lex. "You crossed the line this time. There's no way you're getting out of this. You will pay, I swear it."

"Even if I were responsible for this tragedy, and I'm not saying I am," Lex was quick to point out while Superman narrowed his eyes, "good luck trying to prove it." That smile of superiority, one that displayed every ounce of arrogance and intelligence the Luthor had. Clark loathed it, the worst thing about it however, was that it was true. Lex wasn't lying. His heartbeat was steady, not a thump out of place.

However, Clark knew in his gut without a doubt that Lex Luthor had a hand in what happened. Yet, it was like he said, there was no way to prove it.

Walking away from the chair, Clark made it to the window, turning back to face Lex as he floated backwards. "This isn't over." Those were his last words before jettisoning out of the room.

"Look at me, I'm shaking." Dryness oozed out of his words before Lex sighed and got up, taking the scotch with him. Maybe he should go to Zemo's place instead. Before that though, it might be worth checking out the data from the ship Zoom took from STAR Labs.

Earth-1, Star City

Adrian buried his head in a bowl, his body bare from the waist up, exposing the scars obtained during his fight with the archer from another world. As he fumed in the water, Talia watched on with disappointment before her disciple finally pulled out his head with a deep inhale for air. Her student turned to face her, showing that the Lazarus waters within the bowl did their work. What once was a horrid visage burned by acid was returned to the way it once was before.

"Sit." She ordered, and Adrian obeyed his teacher, kneeling before her as he took a ladle and cupped more of the healing waters. "You were beaten by an inferior enemy."

"He was better than we expected." Adrian argued back before hissing as she poured the water over his shoulders and back, where the scars lingered. It would look suspicious if the new Mayor of Star City were to discover such wounds. They needed to disappear as soon as possible, hence the rejection of Luthor's offer for surgery, the diluted water from the Lazarus Pit worked much faster, and they could not let anyone think there is anything amiss with Adrian Chase.

"Irrelevant." Talia snapped at him. "That chip made you better than any natural fighter you will ever face. This "Hawkeye" was just a man. Yet you failed and ran screaming from battle."

"I had no-"

"What's worse, you lost the Soultaker." Talia did not consider it a huge loss, but the sword was enhanced by magic with an edge sharper than she's ever seen in her years as Ra's al Ghul's daughter.

"It was only a sword." Prometheus countered as he finally stood up, feeling the scar tissue fade away from the magic of the waters before facing his teacher. "We have the Promethium. With that, and the chip, I will be unstoppable."

"Unless you fight someone smarter than you." Talia snipped, causing Adrian's face to snarl and twitch, his true side emerging.

"That will NEVER happen again."

"If it does, I will kill you myself." Talia did not waste time to take vengeance against Oliver only for her tool to fall short of what was required.

"You won't need to." Adrian now began to smile, showing Talia more of the cunning and psychotic personality beneath the face of Adrian Chase. "Our next move, when Oliver takes office, it will be perfect."

Talia hummed before walking past her weapon against Oliver Queen. "You nearly ruined everything by answering Zemo's call." She turned back to him with the same disapproval. "That will never happen again."

"Actually," Adrian's smile curled ever upward, "I think it should." Talia, instead of reprimanding him, looked at her student with curiosity, nodding for him to continue. "You of all people should know the value of friends in high and low places, and boy, these are those kinds of friends."

Central City

The Mist turned into his misty form, trying to escape from the Flash, but he twirled his arms, making mist almost disperse, causing him to come back to normal, and then Barry sped towards him, punching him out, as Joe, Patty and Lloyd arrived to arrest him.

"Nice job, Flash", Patty said, Barry nodding with a smile.

"My pleasure", he replied, then sped off, as Mist was arrested.

Gotham City, many years ago

An old man was cornered by two thugs, one of them having a chain, another having a bat.

"When crime haunts the night, a silent crusader carries the torch of justice."

They turned around to see a masked man in a hat, his cape flowing behind him.

He rushed forwards, dodging the chain of the first thug and elbowing his face as he fell down. The other one dropped his bat in terror, only for the masked man to grab his collar, then slam him to the ground, before knocking him out with a punch.

"Those with evil hearts beware, for out of the darkness comes The Gray Ghost!"

Young Bruce Wayne, wearing a hat similar to Gray Ghost alongside holding an action figure of the hero, watched with a smile as the title card of his favorite TV show, 'The Gray Ghost' appeared, and at the bottom, it said 'Starring Simon Trent', while a woman's scream was heard in the background.

Then it showed the episode's name- 'The Mad Bomber'.

The scene changed to show the outside of a factory called 'Piedmont Plastics'. There was a glow, after which the factory exploded, Bruce's jaw dropping at the sight. He smiled again, enjoying this episode already.

Behind him, Thomas was writing something down. "Bedtime after 'Gray Ghost', okay Bruce?"

Bruce was too engrossed in the episode to respond, the narration saying. "The city is rocked again by the mysterious bomber. Our only hope- The Gray Ghost!"

Gotham City, Present Day

It was night time, everything seemingly quite at Gotham Plastics. At that moment, there was a glow, followed by a loud explosion, the building having been blown up.

Batman watched the smoke rising from a building at a distance, hearing police sirens before leaping down.

Many years ago

On the TV, Gray Ghost watched the smoke rising from his vantage point on top of a building, then leapt off while police sirens were heard, Bruce continuing to watch while letting out a yawn.

In the show, the Gray Ghost was given a note by the police, clearly left by the bomber, that he read out loud. "Pay up or pay the consequences! One million in cash or the Piedmont Bank is next! Signed the Mad Bomber."

Present Day

Batman landed near the blown-up factory, where the police had already arrived. Gordon turned around on seeing him. "Batman." He walked up to him. "Might want to look into this."

He held up a note, Batman taking it, then reading, his eyes narrowed. "Pay up or pay the consequences! One million in cash or the Gotham Bank is next! Signed the Mad Bomber."

Many years ago

"If only we knew how he planted those bombs", the police chief said while looking at the note glumly.

"Fear not chief, I think I have the answer", the Gray Ghost said in reply.

However, Bruce had already fallen asleep by now. His father picked him up, carrying him to the bedroom. "Time for all little Gray Ghosts to be in bed."

Present Day

Bruce tossed and turned in bed, the memory flashing by in his dreams, before he opened his eyes, shooting up, then sitting in bed, sweating, then holding his face.

"The Gray Ghost!"

Central City, courthouse

"Kyle Nimbus is hereby sentenced to death by means of special injection", the judge said, Nimbus just looking at her with an emotionless face as she banged her gavel.

District Attorney Cecile Horton glared at Nimbus from the side, having been his prosecutor, glad he'd gotten the punishment he deserved.

"All rise."

Everyone did, Cecile feeling good that she'd put yet another bad meta-human behind bars.

Gotham City

Bruce was in the back of his limo, having suited up decently now, all buttoned up, even his hair done nicely, for he'd decided to take a page out of his doppelganger's book, and be less reclusive. Of course it was taking time, but he was getting there.

Alfred drove forth, while on the news, Vicki Vale spoke. "And the city continues to be rocked by the Mad Bomber, who has made it clear he won't stop his reign of destruction unless he is paid one million dollars. The question remains- who is the Mad Bomber and how is he sneaking his bombs past both the police and the bomb squads?"

"And what does it have to do with my childhood hero?" Bruce wondered, trying to think about it, remembering any detail he'd missed. But he just couldn't!

A while later, Bruce and Alfred were in a video store, that was said to sell the highest quality versions of almost any TV show or movie that had existed since the 50s up until now.

"What can I do for you, Mr. Wayne?" The store clerk inquired.

"We're looking for a film's copy. Actually, it's a TV show", Bruce explained to him. "We can't find it anywhere. Nothing digital either, its like it doesn't exist."

"Don't worry, you've come to the right place, we've got every movie and TV show since the 50s on here, I collect 'em, its my hobby", the clerk assured Bruce with a smile.

Bruce immediately said the title. "The Gray Ghost."

Hearing that, the clerk's face fell. "Name something else." He drank some juice from the straw, then walked off.

"You said you'd it all since the 50s", Bruce reminded, keeping his annoyance in check.

"Except 'The Gray Ghost'", he said with a sigh. "Nobody has it. The studio that made that show, Spectra, it burned to the ground 20 years ago. The negatives went up like kindling. Ah, real shame." He took another slurp.

"So 'The Gray Ghost' truly doesn't exist?" Bruce inquired.

"No, it doesn't", the store clerk confessed. "Sorry."

Bruce narrowed his eyes, realizing the hunt for this episode was now even harder, yet he needed to find something in order to stop the real-life Mad Bomber.

A while later, Bruce and Alfred were in the limo again, Bruce looking through his phone, Alfred inquiring. "What are you searching for, Bruce?"

"Well, if I cannot get my hands on the episode, I need to find the people who worked on this show", Bruce said, finding what he needed to find. "Simon Trent played the Gray Ghost." He looked up. "And he lives right here in Gotham City."

In Simon Trent's apartment, there were loud knocks on the door, the balding and overweight landlord banging on his door. "Trent! This ain't no homeless shelter! Either pay your rent or get out! Lousy has-been actor!"

Inside, Simon Trent stood, looking at the door. His hair was grey now, there were wrinkles on his face, and he'd no one to keep him company. He was a famous star once but now; he didn't get a second glance from anyone.

The only good things he still had were old relics from the past on wooden shelves. Those being action figures, posters, pictures, speakers, video tapes, a pair of goggles, and some more, all centered around 'The Gray Ghost'.

Trent missed that time, wishing he could go back to it. But as glamorous as Hollywood appeared to be on the outside, it was a cutthroat industry deep down. For every single person who fulfilled their dreams, a hundred more had theirs shattered.

Some had the good life for a while, and then they lost it forever. Trent was one of those, even if he vainly hoped the 'forever' won't last long.

Picking up a toy plane, he spun the propellor, before his phone rang, and he picked up. "Hello?" It was his agent. He hoped he'd gotten the part, even a supporting role would do.

"Hello, Si. Sorry, you didn't get the part."

His hopes shattered, Simon leaned against the wall, sliding down, struggling to keep the phone in his grip. "I need to work, Frankie. Get me something, you're my agent."

"I'm trying, Si. But everyone sees you as the Gray Ghost. Those who remember that is."

"I can do other parts!" Simon begged. He'd even do a single scene if needed! "I'm an actor!"

"I know, Si." The agent then added. "We've been through this before. Just hang in there."

The call was then cut, Simon dropping his phone to the ground. The only reason it didn't break was because it was too close to the ground.

He stood up, walking towards a framed poster of 'The Gray Ghost'. Once upon a time, it used to be the biggest boon. Now, it was just a curse. It'd been cancelled, and no one hired him at all.

Angrily, he threw the plane at the poster, creating a crack in the frame, making it fall down, as one wing of the plane broke off, after which he swept off many action figures from the shelf in a fit of rage, then toppled another shelf.

Then, he collapsed to the floor, sobbing over the now broken frame of the show that'd made and unmade him.

Iron Heights Prison

Nimbus was being led to where his execution would take place, as in one of the cells, Rainbow Raider smirked. "So you're back here, eh?"

"Not for very long, from what I hear", Mark Mardon said from his own cell, Nimbus now looking at him. "Well, this will be fun."

Nimbus looked between Raider and Mardon. Their smiles, they were…there was something else to it, not just some sort of twisted amusement.

At that moment, hysterical laughter was heard from a cell, and he turned to see James Jesse aka the Trickster in his cell, laughing like he'd been told the funniest joke in all of existence.

Not having met him before, Kyle found himself genuinely curious for once.

"What's so funny?"

"Oh….AHAHAHAHAHAHA!" Trickster continued to laugh like a madman, then suddenly pointed to the guards who were leading Nimbus away. "That!"

Suddenly, the guards stopped, and Trickster said. "Uncuff him."

Nimbus was surprised when the guards did that, even if he liked it, and then Trickster said. "Unlock this cell."

One of the guards looked through the keys, and unlocked the cell, letting Trickster out. Holding out his hand, Trickster took the key ring, walking with a skip in his step as he unlocked the cell of Mardon, then Raider, and walked around, unlocking a few more cells.

"What's going on?" Nimbus asked, looking around as he saw other guards all standing still, making no move to stop Trickster or the rest of them.

Trickster stopped near another cell, and was about to insert the guy, when he noticed who was inside the cell.

Michael Myers, still staring away into space, completely emotionless.

"Oh….uh…never mind", Trickster said to him. "Enjoy your…..staring! AHAHAHAHAHAHA!"

And then he walked back to the freed prisoners, saying with another laugh. "I developed a very nice chemical, that makes people who drink it susceptible to my suggestion…or suggestions, and I'd a lot of them."

"How did you sneak it in?" Nimbus inquired.

"We promised to bribe a guard", Mardon said with a smirk, and at that moment, said guard came in, the only one not affected for obvious reasons. "He mixed it in their drinks."

"I've done what you asked now", the guard said. "So, where can I find my money?"

"Oh, you can find it I'm sure….well, I'm sure the other side has a different kind of it", Trickster said, to his confusion as he took a guard's gun and pulled the trigger, killing the guard. "You'll need it of course."

Looking up, Trickster saw the dampener and shot it too, destroying it.

"Now this will be fun", Nimbus said, feeling himself turn to mist again.

"Just wait until you find out what we're gonna do", Mardon said, a small wind appearing in his palm.

"What is that?" Nimbus inquired.

"A trial!" Trickster said, then laughed hysterically once more.

"Of someone very important", Top added, before Trickster's laughter drowned all other voices out.

Gotham City

Trent was in a toy store, looking at a young, blonde man by the name of Ted Dymer, who was looking at the box of stuff Trent had just given him.

"The original Gray Ghost costume!" He said excitedly, looking at that iconic costume, before turning back to Trent. "Are you sure you want to get rid of it?"

"Positive", Trent replied, wearing his only decent outfit- an orange trench coat and a whiter collared shirt underneath, a black bow tie underneath the collar and a cap on his head.

"I can't pay much, Mr. Trent", Dymer said apologetically, looking at some other 'Gray Ghost' merchandise that was still here, no one having bought it even after a sale. "No one buys Gray Ghost merchandise nowadays. It just isn't in demand."

"Pay everything you can afford to", Trent simply said, and Dymer looked into the cash register, then gave Trent what he had.

"Take good care of this, Ted", Simon told him, before walking off.

Later, Trent stood in his now empty apartment, the Gray Ghost merchandise all gone, only one poster left.

"Looks like you paid the rent one last time, old friend."

With that, Trent sat on a chair, dozing off eventually.

Earth-199999, Avengers Compound

Two separate attacks in in the span of a week sent Tony into overdrive, repairing the damage done during Clint's defense against the masked intruders, and improving everything. That included strengthening JARVIS capabilities, the gates and walls around, and sensors to detect universally displaced individuals, AKA world hoppers. There were even security Legionnaires placed throughout the base, which after Ultron, proved a little unnerving, but understandable. Plus, after repairs were done, it'd be more than just the team in the base, but their support staff as well, the protection protocols would be needed.

"And there were no identifying marks? Words?" Steve tried one last time as he and Clint walked to the hanger. The archer was carrying a bag over his shoulder, dressed in his casual clothes.

"Trust me, if there was, I'd see it." The captain knew that well enough, there was little Hawkeye missed. "The guy with the spooky katana, when I jabbed some acid in his face, I heard a breach, or something like it. These guys weren't from our Universe."

"Whoever they were, they were prepared." The heads were destroyed after they returned, no possibility for facial recognition. Fingerprints were burned off, then there was no DNA match. The extra mile to destroy the heads either meant they were being thorough, or perhaps not all of them were outside their Universe. The only thing they took however was the gauntlet. No major loss, both Tony and Reed had made more, but it was concerning. If they could create breaches, why take their own device? "Have a feeling this won't be the last time, whoever they are."

"What I still can't get over is that you might have made peace with Magneto of all people." He wouldn't have believed it if not for the fact that Steve never lies. Nat could attest to that, probably why she liked the super soldier so much. And he meant "like" like.

Steve shrugged, remembering how when they got the news from JARVIS, they rushed to get back to the Compound. That was when another portal like the one that brought Steve to Magneto's Island opened up, with the base in view, finishing their hurry back in seconds. That Gateway guy was good, but it made Steve wonder what else did that Mutant see. "I believe Lehnsherr truly wants the best for Mutants. If we can find a way to meet his terms, maybe we can avoid another war."

"Wish I had your optimism." Clint had to take in Mutants back when they were a serious problem and SHIELD were the only ones capable of taking out Enhanced. They were a pain, but sadly, not the worst missions he'd been on. Well, some were close contenders.

The Quinjet came into view, the hanger doors open letting in the breeze. "I know some of his terms are a stretch, but he seems more willing to negotiate now. Just have to hope Ambassador McCoy can convince them to consider it."

"The blue fuzzball helped set up the Department of Mutant Affairs when people still viewed them as freaks and monsters. Something tells me you guys will get along." Clint said before noticing Steve's eyes glance over to the jet, where Natasha was walking aboard. She was the only one who knew his family, and Stark's tech truly made the Quinjet invisible from everything, no one better. She could fly him there and bring the jet back until the vacation is over. Plus, been a while since she'd seen her godson, and the kids missed their Auntie Nat.

Of course, the way Steve was looking at her, those were the last thoughts on his mind.

"Seriously, man, what are you waiting for?" Clint said in exasperation. The whole team could see it. Even JARVIS!

"I-uh-I'm-"

"Hold it!" Steve was saved by Tony running to the scene, a cheque in his hand that he stopped to hand to a surprised archer. "Vacation means nothing without some spending money."

"Stark, that's-"

"Yeah yeah yeah, save it. Not the cash that is, I fully expect you to use it all on some sexy hula skirt wearing masseuse." Clint had to chuckle at Tony's wild ideas. If only he knew.

Maybe one day.

"Thanks, Tony", Clint said sincerely as he looked at the cheque one more time before pocketing it. It was for fifteen grand and purposely left blank, no doubt Tony accounted for use of his many aliases when he uses it. Man's a genius for a reason.

"Don't mention it, just tell me what I interrupted approximately 14.3 seconds ago." Tony looked pointedly at the First Avenger with a smirk, Clint joining him and enjoying the show when their fearless leader started to blush.

"Oh you know, just longingly looking at our favorite redheaded teammate."

Tony groaned and rolled his eyes. "I swear I've seen pain dry faster than this relationship."

"He's an old man, you know how slow they go."

"Have a good trip", Steve said quickly before turning heal and retreating back further into the base.

"If I have to "Parent Trap" those two lovebirds, I will." Clint looked at the billionaire with a laugh before clapping his shoulder and leaving for the jet.

"Take care, Tone."

Miami

Getting into Alahi's place was incredibly easy. It took two things which were on hand: skimpy dresses, and fake IDs. Apparently, they were mostly distracted by Felicia's rack. Huh, maybe she should take her on more heists.

They joined the crowd of bikini or barely dressed women with a minority of men hovering around, most of them Alahi's muscle. This was Felicia's first heist, Parker stuck close to her in case she got nervous or screwed it up somehow. Screws were inevitable, especially to newbies.

Felicia snagged a flute of champagne from a passing waiter with practiced ease, raising the glass to her lips to find Parker's narrowing. "What? According to you, I'm twenty-one." Felicia was ready to drink, before the older thief snatched the drink from her hand. "Come on!"

"No drinking", Parker ordered, before chugging down the glass and placing it on another tray. The student looked at the master incredulously. "First job, you have to earn your fake legal drink." Parker walked along the pool with Felicia quickly following.

"Do you know how many black-tie events and soirees I've been to? I've drank enough champagne and scotch to put even the gorillas at the gate to sleep." Felicia stopped short of getting her eye poked by Parker's finger pointing very close to her face, as usual.

"My rules." Parker squinted her eyes, making Felicia roll her own but nodded, nonetheless. "Good, now check out our host." The student followed where her teacher gestured, and immediately grimaced in disgust. "Peyman Alahi. His house, his party, and soon to be our diamond."

"The guy who looks like he's related to Sasquatch?" Alahi looked exactly like the picture Felicia was shown, only, it and the older thief neglected to mention the guy was one full moon away from going all wolfman, hair covered nearly every part of his body, the neck, face, and top of his head were the only things spared. "It's like he's wearing a fur sweater!"

"Made of hair. Now stop staring and act casual." Parker turned Felicia away and got them moving. "Mouth close." Felicia, who was still gaping at what she saw, quickly closed her mouth. "Report."

Realizing what the master thief meant, Felicia did everything possible to purge the image from her mind before recalling everything they needed to know on this recon mission. "There's a southern egress with two guards, both armed, and three more by the garage."

"And?"

"And…" She meant the technical part. Felicia was always better playing people, she could handle cameras sure, but the older blonde drilled into her the specifics of what they would be dealing with in the beach house. This really was next level. "There's, uh, SVB-54 explosion-protected cameras with infrared. Six of them."

"Good," Parker turned them further into Alahi's home, "now let's explore."

Earth-2196

Sam and Dean landed on a mattress on a TV show set of all things.

"Cut!"

A crewmember patted Dean on the rear. "Real good solid fall. Way to go."

The director said. "Jared, Jensen! Outstanding! That was just great."

"Supernatural," scene one echo, take one. Tail slate. Marker!"

Sam and Dean were now confused, as they got up, looking around, realizing they were on a set for a TV show that was being shot, and the director and crew clearly thought they were part of the cast.

Sam asked Dean. "So...No Angels or God?"

"No Angels or God, I think."

"But that was great!" The director was saying.

Someone else replied. "...it's not a problem with the stunt. It's a problem with the...signal."

Sam wondered. "Should we be killing anybody?"

"Interference."

Dean sighed. "I don't think so."

The director asked. "Well, how much did we get?"

"- Running?" Sam inquired.

"- About half", a crewmember told them.

"Where?" Dean asked.

"Gets us right up to where they – Just before they hit the window."

The director then said. "You know, the part where they hit the window is the good part."

The crewmember told him. "Well, we can clean up, reset the window, takes about 95 minutes, basically. So, we'd have to blow off the scene where they sit on the impala and talk about their feelings." Sam picked up a piece of the 'window' which wobbled back and forth, clearly made of some kind of gel.

"Ha. Right. You answer the hate mail."

"Or we could have them fly at the window, then freeze frame. Then cut to black, act out."

The director muttered. "Freeze frame."

"Um...Yeah. Freeze frame."

"Serviceable."

The director finally gave in. "Fine. Whatever. Season six. Moving on."

"Moving on! That's a wrap on Jared and Jensen!"

Sam was confused. "W-who the hell are—"

An interviewer appeared. "Jared! Three minutes, okay? Great." She took Sam by the hand and lead him away.

Dean asked. "Where are we going?"

A makeup artist appeared. "Jensen, there you are! Let's just get you in the chair."

""Chair"?"" She put him in the chair.

"Okay, hon, we're just gonna get this makeup off your face."

"Wha—I'm not wearing any ma—" Dean looked at the cloth the makeup artist had just wiped over his face to find it covered in foundation. "Oh, crap! I'm a painted whore!"

The interviewer was interviewing Sam. "Trish Evian here with Jared Padalecki from TV's "Supernatural." So, Jared, Season Six." Sam was looking over his shoulder into the set of the panic room and turned back in confusion. "What?"

"You beat the devil, lost your soul, and got it back again. So tell us, what's next for Sam Winchester?"

Sam was totally confused now. "Look, I-I-I really don't—"

"Oh, and if you could include the question in your answer? Thanks." Sam laughed nervously.

A while later, Dean met up with Sam.

"Hey."

"Dude, they put freakin' makeup on us! Those bastards!"

Sam finally said. "Look, I think I know what this is."

Dean inquired. "Okay. What?"

"It's a TV show."

"You think?"

"Yeah", Sam told him. "I mean, here – wherever "here" is, this – this twilight zone the Tricks….Gabriel zapped us into. For whatever reason, our life is a TV show."

"Why?"

"I don't know."

"No, seriously. Why? Why would anybody want to watch our lives?"

"Well, I mean, according to that interviewer, not very many people do. Look, I'm not saying it makes sense. I'm just saying, we – we landed in some dimension where you're Jensen Ackles, and I'm something called a "Jared Padalecki.""

Dean was even more mortified now. "So what, now you're Polish? Is any of this making any sense to you?" They exited the studio and saw the Impala.

Now Dean was happy. "Oh, hey. Least my baby made it." A crewmember started flinging mud onto the windshield. "Hey. Hey! What –" Dean saw 3 more Impalas. "I feel sick. I'm gonna be sick. I want to go home. I feel like this whole place is bad-touching me."

Sam agreed. "Yeah, I know. Me too. So, what do you think?" They suddenly saw Castiel a short distance away.

Dean was relieved as they walked up to him. "Cas? Cas! Hey, Cas! Oh, thank God. Well, not really, screw him! What is all this, huh? W-w-what did Gabriel do to us?"

"To keep you out of Virgil's reach, Balthazar has cast you into an alternate reality, a Universe similar to ours in most respects yet dramatically different in others."

"Like – like Bizarro Earth, right?" Dean inquired. "Except instead of having Bizarro Superman, we get this clown factory. But….who is Virgil...or Balthazar?"

"Um...Yeah, well...Anyway, no time to explain. Do you have the key?" He then asked.

"What key?" Sam asked, confused.

"Pardon?"

"Yeah. Amen, Padaleski."

"Uh, "lecki.""

"What?"

"Lecki. Pretty sure."

"Man", 'Castiel' pulled out his script. "Did they put out new pages?"

Dean was confused. "New what?"

Sam asked. "I mean, is this some kind of Cosmic joke?"

Dean added. "Yeah, 'cause if it is, it's stupid, and we don't get it, and it worse than the previous one."

"Yeah."

'Castiel' asked. "Are you guys okay?"

Dean grabbed the script from him. "Give me that." He looked at it. "What is – these are words in a script. This isn't Cas."

Sam shook his head. "Dude, look at him."

'Castiel' unbutonned his shirt to reveal a patterned new age t-shirt underneath. "You guys want to run lines, or...?"

Dean revealed to Sam. "His name's Misha." He was flabbergasted by the name. "Misha?"

Sam groaned. "Oh, wow. Just...Great."

Dean sighed. "Misha? Jensen? What's up with the names around here?"

Misha thought it was some kind of joke. "You guys! You really punked me! I'm totally gonna tweet this one." He pulled out his phone and started typing. ""Hola, mishamigos. "J-squared... Got me good.""

Dean said. "I just want to dig my finger in my brain and scratch until we're back in Kansas. But then again….Chuck is after us there."

Misha carried one. ""Really...Starting to feel... Like one of the guys.""

Dean and Sam walked by a giant trailer. Sam noted. "Hey. "J. Ackles.""

Dean cried out. "That's fake me!"

"Yeah."

"This must be fake mine."

They saw a beautiful woman with long, black hair next to the trailer, as Dean greeted her. "Hey beautiful."

The woman chuckled, then said to both of them. "Nice to meet the two of you. I'm a huge fan."

"Of us?" Sam asked, stammering. "I mean, our show?"

"Yeah, at least Hollywood can do something without using my story again", she groaned, then held out her hand. "Sidney Prescott."

"Oh…well, I am…" Sam stammered, shaking her hand.

"I know who you two are", she said, dropping Sam's hand and shaking Dean's. "Well, just wanted to meet the two actors of one show I like. Its underrated, but I think its good. See you." With that, she walked off, as Sam and Dean shared a strange look, then entered the trailer.

Dean was awed. "Dude, I have a helicopter!"

Sam spotted something. "Oh. All right, who puts a 300-gallon aquarium in their trailer?"

Dean shrugged. "Apparently, Jensen Ackles."

"Huh." Sam spotted a laptop. "All right, here we go. Let's see who this guy is."

Dean pointed out. "Well, he's not a hunter, but he plays one on TV." He gestured to the large TV at the back of the trailer that was playing the Season 3 gag reel. "Oh." He picked up a magazine with Jared and Jensen on the cover. "Come on. Look at these male-modelin' sons of bitches. Nice "blue steel," Sam."

Sam pointed out. "Hey. Apparently, it's our job. All right, uh, here goes. Um...It says you're from Texas."

"Really?"

"Yeah. And, uh...Oh. Says you were on a soap opera."

"What?"

They watched a clip of Jensen on 'Days of our Lives'.

"If I didn't have cancer, and I wasn't married, and I had plenty of money... Would you – would you want to run away with me?'"

"Money? What, you think I really care about money, Nicole? I care that you're healthy."

"Well, I'm no quitter, Eric. I-I—"

Dean slammed the laptop shut. "Don't like this Universe, Sammy. We need to get out of this Universe."

"Yeah. No argument here", Sam agreed. "But how? And where do we go next?"

"If we can reverse Gabriel's spell... I watched every move", Dean sketched out the sigil. "We just, uh, get the ingredients, right, get back to that same window, and...There's no place like home. But we can't go there due to Chuck." Dean thought about it. "Let's try for another world. Maybe Angel's and Buffy's? Or...scarface's and Jesus' galaxy or something?"

"Good idea, we can lay low for a while in one of those places", Sam agreed. "But Castiel and Gabriel? What about them?"

"I wanna help them as much as you do, but we can't do that by ourselves", Dean pointed out. "We'll have to think."

Sam sighed. "So…is God evil?"

Dean looked at Sam sadly. "I guess He is."

"But….He shouldn't be, should He?" Sam inquired, looking quite devastated. "I mean- God is supposed to be good, He created us all. That's what they say!"

"I wish it was true, but its clearly not", Dean told Sam. "Look, I know you'd more faith than I ever did but…..it looks like God is evil."

"Why?" That was all Sam could muster. He had been unable to process it so far, due to Chuck having been about to kill them, the reveal of Adam, and now being stuck in this Universe.

But now that he had, he just didn't know what to think or believe anymore.

As much as Dean wished, he did not have the answer.

"I really don't know, Sammy."

Sam shook his head. "Looks like…the only people we can believe in…are ourselves now."

Dean put a hand on Sam's shoulder. "We'll make it through, Sammy. We'll make it through." He didn't know who he was trying to convince, Sam or himself.

God Himself was against them. What were they going to do?

A while later, they were in the set for Bobby's house. "Backbone of a lesser saint." Sam pulled the bone out of Bobby's drawer. "Got it. Uh..." Sam poked at the bone and realized it was fake. "It's rubber."

"Check this out." Dean held up a prop dagger and bent the blade back and forwards. "Hey, look. It's fake." Dean jabbed the fake dagger at Sam's chest. "It's all fake!"

The director was watching through the window of the set. "Well, at least they're talking to each other."

Dean asked. "What are we supposed to do with this crap?"

A few minutes later, they exited the set.

"'course everything is fake", We're on a film set", Sam said as they approached one of the Impalas. "We got to get back to the real world.."

"Yeah, now you're talking." They got in the Impala and started driving. "All right, we go round up the genuine articles, bring 'em here for the spell." He looked at the car. "What the hell is going on? What is wrong with this thing?"

A crewmember was running alongside Impala, knocking on the window. "Mr. Ackles! Mr. Ackles, please!"

Sam pointed out. "Uh, Dean?"

"God, Mr. Ackles, please!"

Sam sighed. "Dean, it's not the impala."

"Please! Stop."

"You think?"

"Please!"

Dean snapped. "It's a frigging prop! Just like everything else." They stopped and exited the Impala.

"Oh, thank you. Thank you. Thank you so much for..."

Dean was annoyed. "How the hell are we supposed to get out of here?"

Earth-1, Gotham City

Trent didn't know for how long he'd slept, but when his eyes opened, he wondered if he was dreaming. He blinked twice.

The Gray Ghost merchandise was all there, back where it'd been- the action figures, pictures, speakers, video tapes, everything! Even the costume!

And there was a note on the costume.

Standing up, Trent walked to it, looking at the note. "Gray Ghost, meet me in an hour at the Gotham Art School. Signed a friend."

An hour later

Trent stood at the spot, holding a box, wondering if the guy would show up. He wasn't sure why he'd come, but the note, it had his curiosity peaked.

Thinking he won't come after all, Trent made to leave, when he heard something. Turning around, his jaw dropped while he gasped on seeing Batman step out of the shadows.

"You…." He trailed off.

Batman had been trying to improve his reputation, but there was still some fear of him.

However, he'd told Oliver he intended to start a team, a 'League' really, so all the Heroes of this world could fight great threats together.

Meaning he was going to work with many people. And if he wanted to be ready for that, what better way to start than teaming up with his childhood hero?

"Mr. Trent, I need your help."

Simon had already bolted though, running as if evil itself was after him. He didn't get very far, for Batman leapt out of an alley in front of him like a Demon from the shadows.

Realizing there was nowhere to go, Simon finally asked. "What do you want from me?" He backed off, Batman stepping forwards.

"Some mad man is blowing up Gotham City piece by piece. Somehow, its connected to the Gray Ghost." He pointed at Simon. "To you."

Simon panted, backing off, his back hitting a wall. "What are you talking about? It was a show, I'm an actor, the Gray Ghost was a part I played."

"The bombings are happening exactly like in an episode of your show", Batman revealed the reason he'd come to him. "I need you to remember how it went down there."

Grasping his head, Simon shook it. "I made hundreds of episodes, its all a blur now. Leave me alone, just leave me alone!" He started walking off, only to hear a 'vroom' sound, his eyes widening. "That noise!"

Batman ran forth, the two staring at the Gotham Art School. A moment passed, then Batman pushed himself and Simon into a nearby alleyway.

BOOM!

The building had been blown up, fires all around, debris falling everywhere, smoke rising up.

Getting up, Simon quickly bolted. Batman called out. "Wait!"

BOOM!

As another explosion rocked the building, Batman rushed inside to make sure no one had been hurt.

Trent returned to his apartment, closing the door and panting, but when he turned on the lights, he gasped on seeing Batman standing there, dropping his box to reveal the Gray Ghost costume.

"You know something, you recognized that sound", Batman noted to Simon.

"This is harassment, I'm calling the police", Simon countered, taking out his phone.

Instead, Batman pointed out. "We know the next bomb is going to hit the Gotham Library. Help me!"

Putting his phone away, Simon walked to his coat rack, parting some coats to reveal video tapes of every episode of the show. Taking out one titled 'The Mad Bomber', he handed it to Batman, then said angrily. "Here's your answer! Take it and go!"

Batman took it, then walked to the window, before turning around. "I used to admire what the Gray Ghost stood for." As a kid, he couldn't get enough of the Gray Ghost. Seeing someone fighting against crime and corruption, being a ray of hope, it was inspiring. He knew that deep down, he'd based his crusade on what the Gray Ghost represented. A mysterious, masked man, fighting for justice.

"I am not the Gray Ghost", Simon insisted.

Batman looked away sadly. "I can see that now." There was a coldness in his voice. With that, he swung away, Simon placing a hand to his head.

At his place, Bruce watched the episode on an old projector from his father's time that still worked, a smile on his face, for he felt like a kid briefly once more, enjoying an episode of his favorite show, watching his hero in action.

Alfred had even kept a bowl of popcorn next to him so he could enjoy it, happy to see Bruce looking relaxed for once.

Bruce watched the episode, an explosion happening, when that same 'vroom' noise was heard again. "That's the noise!" A remote-controlled toy car appeared on the scene, and Bruce was actually shocked. He didn't think that'd be possible after the Singularity, a Vampire, an immortal, two reincarnated soulmates, and Freddy Krueger, but it was apparently.

"You've got to be kidding me."

Batman was now on call with Gordon, having given a special phone to him too a while ago. "The explosions are caused by remote-controlled toy cars. We'll know what to look for the in the Library, in about an hour or so."

Central City

Cecil was walking out of her office, when she saw the other personnel all lying on the ground, gasping in pain.

"What the….?" She trailed off in horror, before feeling something behind her, and turned to see Mardon standing there with a smirk.

"Hello, Miss Horton", he said, and before Cecile could reply, he blew a wind that sent her flying off and pinned her to the wall. "You see, a trial is about to happen, and we needed a defender. I'm sure you'd do nicely."

"Forget it!" Cecile said angrily.

"Actually", Nimbus chuckled as he appeared, horrifying her. "We can't, and you've got no choice."

West House

Barry and Patty were in bed, naked, Barry on top of Patty, who was panting in both lots of pleasure and exhaustion, clearly worn out.

"Never done that before…" Patty sighed, confusing Barry, before she added. "With someone like you I mean."

"Well….." Barry trailed off. "If you want, I can slow down next-"

"Oh no, it was perfect, I'd love to go again after I recover", Patty said, Barry smiling as they kissed happily, then parted and laughed, happy to be in each other's company, especially after what Cisco had gone through recently, they needed some time to enjoy the good stuff in life.

Suddenly, Barry's phone rang, and he rolled off of Patty, picking it up to see Joe, and quickly accepted the call. "Hey Joe, what's up?"

"Its DA Cecile, Barr."

"What about her?"

"The meta-humans have taken over Iron Heights, and kidnapped her", Joe revealed to Barry's shock. "Right from her office."

"I'm on my way to check", Barry said, cutting the call, then turned to Patty.

"What happened?" She asked, throwing the bedsheets off of herself to get dressed, knowing this was important, as Barry dressed up at superspeed.

"The meta-humans have taken over Iron Heights, and DA Cecile has been kidnapped", Barry revealed, to her shock, then joked. "Guess you've more time to recover."

That made them chuckle before Barry sped off.

Courthouse

Barry, now dressed as Flash, stopped at the courthouse, looking around at the unconscious people, as Joe, Lloyd and some cops were there too, with medics loading them into their vans.

"What happened here?" Barry inquired.

"It was Nimbus, a mild dose of his gas took them all down", Joe said sadly. "Now she has been taken."

At that moment, the wall behind them exploded, Barry being hit by lightning as he was thrown off, and the others were hit by mild bolts too, all knocked down, while Mardon came in.

"I'm just here for the Flash", he said, raising his hands. "I'll leave with him."

"Not so fast", Lloyd snarled, aiming his gun, but Mardon fired a wind that made him fly off and fall down, and then he increased its intensity, doing the same to Joe and the others cops, as well as some medics.

"Stop…." Barry groaned, about to get up, only to get hit by another bolt, this time longer, and was knocked out.

"Now I have you", Mardon said, moving towards Barry, only for a blast of electricity to knock him away.

He groaned and got up, seeing Static Shock standing there. "You're not taking him."

He was about to fire again when the Mist appeared behind him in mist form, and turned normal, before hitting him hard on the head, knocking him down as he groaned in pain.

Mardon then lifted up Barry, as he and Nimbus walked off, the latter saying. "Iron Heights is going to light up now!"

And then Virgil lost consciousness.

Earth-199999

Clint was barely paying attention to the scenery of an endless ocean of white and blue. The Quinjet flying above the clouds made for a beautiful sight. What kept his attention, however, was his partner trying to remain stoic under his gaze.

"You're staring."

"Creeps stare. I'm observing."

"You're observing creepily", Natasha countered. She looked back at him with that scary look of hers that usually had the other guys running for safety.

"You know he likes you too." Suddenly going silent, the Black Widow turned her sights back onto the horizon as they flew ever closer to Iowa. "Steve's a good guy, nice, maybe a little too nice. Probably be another year before he makes a move, if he ever does." Clint baited her, but still no rise out of his best friend. She probably already knows that. New tactic. "Kids miss you; you know."

"Even the traitor?" Natasha smirked, finally showing emotion. She had a bet going that their newborn would be a girl, a little Natasha, only to turn out to be little Nathaniel.

"Especially your godson." It was heartwarming to see her interact with the kids. Laura always liked having a friend around, and Lila idolized her. Nat always had a look though when she looked at Cooper, Lila, and Nate. A longing. It pained Clint every time to think what the Red Room did to her, and then to be reminded of by that Mutant mind meddling bastard. "It's never too late, Nat." Clint told her seriously as he watched the smirk die, slightly. "You can have this one day."

"…you know I can't."

"Sure you can, you just got to find the right person to help with that." Clint finally looked away from his partner to the horizon beyond, where home waited for him. "Good news is, you found him."

Miami

"Thermal imaging cameras on the north and south walls."

Parker hummed as they came to a set of reinforced glass doors. "I wonder what could be in there." She playfully wondered before taking out a lockpick. Felicia watched in fascination as within seconds, the door was already opened. "You'd think they'd know how to lock a door." Parker scoffed at the security so far as they walked through the house, eventually making it down the steps to where Alahi kept his collection, and before them was an ever so tempting digital code lock. Parker snapped her fingers. "Disciple."

"Okay, the snapping fingers thing, that's not gonna happen again." Felicia warned her teacher, who looked at her in confusion before the young Hardy pulled out a code reader from her clutch. She plugged it in, figuring out every possible combination in seconds, before finding the right numbers, before the doors opened themselves. "Okay, that was kinda awesome." When the doors opened fully, Felicia gazed in awe at the prize at the center of the room. "Oh my God."

"Nice rock." Parker casually complimented before walking over, taking one side as Felicia did another, ignoring the marble busts around the room. Pursing her lips, the thief of Leverage looked at the diamond sideways. "I've stolen better."

"Why can't we take it now?" Asking with hint of desperation in her voice, Felicia kept her gaze firmly on the diamond. It would be the greatest, most expensive thing she'd ever stolen, and it was right there in front of her. She could already feel her skin start to tingle.

"This is recon, dummy. In recon, we look, not touch…unless the occasion calls for touching." Parker stressed to her student before they heard the cocking of guns, and they turned to the door to find, much to the younger thief's disgust, Alahi, hairy body bared to all, and two armed guards.

"So, you like my diamond?"

Seeing her chance, Parker stepped forward with a smile. "Oh yeah! It's like, so pretty." Felicia couldn't stop her eyes from widening as Parker's voice became less Parker and more…valley girl. She never thought she'd hear such a thing from her of all people, but she quickly pushed away her disbelief to match Parker's own ditzy smile.

Alahi looked at them both suspiciously, both guards still training their guns on the blondes. "You're not supposed to be here."

"Oh, I'm-I'm really sorry, but the door wasn't locked, and this place is so big." Parker laughed cluelessly. Honestly, where was a camera when Felicia needed one? "And who are you, mister…?"

The innocent tone made Alahi begin to smile, looking both blondes up and down, his eyes lingering on the younger one. "Pretty girls call me Peyman."

"Peyman, that sounds so exotic", Felicia piped in, using a tone she often used to fool whatever gullible idiot who thought she's some dumb blonde pretty girl. She's blonde, she's pretty, but that's where they get her wrong. "I'm Cassie, and this is Kathy."

"A pleasure, ladies." He said as he nodded at his guards to leave, making Felicia release a small sigh in relief, before her smile turned strained when the man who seemed like he covered his body in honey and hugged a bear threw his arm around both her and Parker.

"So," Felicia did her best to keep her fake voice level, "what would I have to do to get this thing on my finger?"

"It would, like, totally knock that bitch Veronica out." Parker joined in with a laugh that had the drug financier chuckling with her.

"It is said that he who owns the Nadan-I-Noor, rules the world."

"Wow." Felicia giggled cutely, even though the hair around her back and shoulders made her skin crawl, and the way Parker was signaling her with the eyes, she probably was in the same boat. "But what if I want it so bad, I try to take it?" Parker shot a warning look. Yeah, she was pushing, but she's dealt with guys like Alahi before. They loved to brag about their toys.

"I'm afraid it's impossible to steal, my dear", Peyman said as if talking to a child, and in this scenario, he was, before gesturing to the diamond, and around the room. "If touched, the vault will seal itself off, gas would fill the room, and my security team would eliminate the thieves." He pointed at Parker, miming a gun, and "poof" as if firing.

"Ooh." Parker exclaimed before raising her index finger closer. "So, I can't even touch it a little?" Alahi quickly pulled back her hand, something the thieves noticed, before her finger even reached the edge of the pedestal.

"No no no, you can only see, my pretty, but then again," Alahi, looked at Felicia's chest, and Parker's rear, "I always loved the touch myself." Parker suddenly jumped at the hand on her butt.

It took a lot not to pull out her taser, but instead, Parker giggled, a nervous Felicia joining her, before the former asked. "You know, I saw some really pretty paintings outside, can you show me?"

"Well of course." Peyman took Parker out by the hand to show her the art they saw while Felicia remained put.

Okay, Alahi didn't let Parker's finger get too close. That had to mean another security measure. Force field? No way, too sci-fi and evil genius-like for a guy like Hairy Harry. Felicia hummed to herself as she heard Alahi continuing to "flirt" like the pig he is, and Parker playing along before noticing something in the corner. A fire extinguisher.

A plan was already forming in her mind when she grabbed it, pulled the pin, and squeezed the lever, letting the compressed gas loose, causing the diamond to fly off the pedestal. The Nadan-I-Noor struck an electric cage made visible by the contact before hitting the floor, but Felicia was quick to kick the stand holding a marble bust to hold open the vault door as it lowered. Quickly grabbing the rock, Felicia slid under and saw Parker glaring at her, with an unconscious Alahi on the floor. God she wished she saw that.

"This was only meant to be recon!"

"I improvised." Felicia shrugged before footsteps approached, a guy coming from the stairs and another down the hall. Both blonde thieves pulled out from their clutches tasers, and quickly fired. Tasers were a good idea, Felicia found herself enjoying the sight of the man she shot convulsing on the ground as volt after volt of electricity shocked him. That satisfaction was ended when she felt Parker grab her by the arm and pulled her into a run until they made it to the pool. Where more guards approached.

"What were you thinking?!" Parker snapped at her student as she leapt with her elbow striking into a guard's face while Felicia's foot drove into another guard's crotch before raising her knee under his chin to make him crumble.

"I made a split-second decision, like you haven't done those before!" Felicia countered before grabbing a steel tray from a waiter and swung it at the face of the next guard while Parker choked out another.

"That is beside the point!" She didn't need to know how true that is, especially before she became a team player for Leverage, and a few times even after. Parker kicked a guard into a pool while her student knocked a table into an incoming man's way before they made a run for the beach. Running along the path before their feet finally hit sand, the elder asked the younger a very important question. "What now, genius?!"

"We run, don't we?!"

Grunting, Parker pulled Felicia to a stop before clicking a button on her watch. The Hardy girl looked at her in confusion before hearing something coming from the water, and two jet skis came into view. Felicia couldn't believe her eyes for a second before whirling on Parker.

"You planned this?"

"Always have an escape plan! Otherwise, you deserve to be caught!" Parker snapped/educated her student as she pulled her along to the water, running into the tide and swimming up to the jet skis before they left Alahi's beach house, the guards eating their bubbles.

Universe-208, the Triumphant, some time ago

Aboard the Venator-class Star Destroyer, the Triumphant, Plo Koon meditated in his quarters. The fleet were stationed above Coruscant for the time being, until their next mission, whether that'd be combat or relief, only the Force knows.

The Kel Dor Jedi tried to find peace in the Force, listening, honing, finding tranquility in the silence. Only for the tranquility to be interrupted. Plo's head tilted as he felt something within the Force. Something calling him. A pull.

Standing to his feet, the Jedi called his lightsaber to his hand before clipping it to his belt as he made for his door. Upon it sliding open, he found Commander Wolffe approaching.

"General, the Admiral has…" Wolffe paused when the Jedi walked by him. "General?"

"Wolffe…I need to go somewhere." Plo Koon said in a daze as he stared out at the end of the hall to the scarred Clone's confusion.

"Go where-" Wolffe could only stare as the Kel Dor walked on, only for their Jedi to disappear. "GENERAL!"

Quor'toth, now

Three days they have wandered. Plo Koon untied his overtunic for a makeshift binding to tie the child to his back. The Force guided their every step, even if it led them to unsavory company.

"FOOD!" One of three flying species hissed as it launched themselves at the travelers. Plo Koon had never seen their like before, possessing large wings attached to their arms, three pairs of eyes, long claws, and a large mouth with rows of sharp teeth. Yet he felt they had never fought a Jedi before.

"Hold tight, little one." Plo told Connor as he called his lightsaber to hand and allowed the blue blade to come forth before leaping up.

The Quor'toth Demon paused in surprise before the lightsaber cut it in half as the Jedi rose above it, before flipping over and landing on its comrade. Plo stabbed his lightsaber through the head of the second, riding the corpse as it descended it down before leaping off to land on his feet. Finally, the Jedi General raised his hand and pulled, the third creature dragged by the Force into his swinging weapon, before it's two halves rolled along the ground.

Examining their corpses for but a moment, Plo Koon had to admit, there was a rather ghastly appearance to them, physically and in the Force. The Dark Side was strong here, he could feel it even as it tried to stain his very being and that of the child. However, it was the Light Side that protected them both.

"We must remain strong, my young friend." Plo told Connor as he deactivated his lightsaber and moved on.

Earth-2196

The driver, Clif, was driving Sam and Dean away, as he asked Dean. "You know whereabouts you want me to drop you off? Jensen?"

"Me? Yes. Um...I – I'll just tag along with, uh..."

"Jared."

"Jared...Jared here."

"Huh. Since when are you guys talking?"

Sam was confused. "Yeah, uh, y-you know what, Clint, uh..."

"Uh, uh, Clif."

"Y-yeah. Yeah, of course. Clif. Obviously. Um, so, uh, I think we're gonna go back to my place a-and do some...work."

Dean added. "Work on our acting."

"Yeah."

"For our characters. For the show."

"Yeah."

"All right."

Dean groaned. "Where the hell are we, anyway?" He saw a Welcome to Vancouver sign. "Dude, we're not even in America."

A while later, they entered the Padalecki mansion.

Dean quipped. "Nice modest digs, Jay-z."

Sam had to say. "Wow. I must be the star of this thing."

"Yeah, right. Check it out." Dean nodded towards a tanning bed.

"What am I, Dracula?"

"George Hamilton Dracula." Dean spotted a liquor cabinet. "Oh. Now we're talking." He peered out the glass doors. "Dude, you have a camel in your backyard."

"It's an alpaca, dumbass."

Dean and Sam were both shocked to see the woman, the former calling out her name. "Ruby?"

""Ruby." Right", she commented. "That one never gets old." She turned to Sam. "How was work today, hon?" She kissed Sam.

Dean was shocked. "Wait. You and Ruby?"

'Ruby' was annoyed. "Do you honestly think that's funny, Jensen?"

Dean tried to save face. "Right. Right. 'cause you're not Ruby. You...I mean, how could you be? You...Of course! You are the lovely actress who plays Ruby." 'Ruby' looked between Sam and Dean, annoyed. "And you are, uh, in...Jared's house, Uh, because you two are..." He spotted a photo on the mantle of Jared and 'Ruby's' wedding "...Married!" He turned to Sam. "You married fake Ruby?"

'Ruby' inquired. "What are you doing?"

"Work. Work."

Dean added. "Yeah, just, uh, thought I'd pop in, say "hey." Hey. Uh, and – and – and maybe run some lines. It's..."

'Ruby' was confused by this turn of events. "You've never even been to our house."

Dean had an alibi already. "Well, now that I know there's an alpaca out back, I'm definitely coming back."

She replied. "Well, alpacas are the greenest animal."

"Right. Right. That is so important."

She sighed. "Well, there's that thing I have to get to."

Sam agreed. "Oh, yeah. Of course, yeah. The thing."

"The international otter adoption charity dinner?"

"Oh."

"Okay, well..." She kissed Sam. "Well, I'm glad you two are talking, anyway."

"Yeah." Sam and Dean watched 'Ruby' leave the room.

Dean shrugged. "Well, looks like you did all right."

Sam had to admit, Ruby may have been evil, but the women she possessed were hot. And here, that woman was the actress playing Ruby. "Yeah. Yeah. I should figure out her name."

Earth-84, Sacred Land of Korin

Son Goku angrily charged at Mercenary Tao, who'd just slain Bora brutally. Goku slid to strike Tao, who leapt and kicked his chin, throwing him off as he crashed into a pillar, then fell down with a groan.

"That's all? Piece of cake", Tao mocked Goku.

"Goku", Upa, Bora's son, who was weeping over his father's body, said while sniffing and wiping his eyes.

Goku staggered back up, his teeth gritted. "I'm not….done yet."

"I see, you're a glutton for punishment", Tao said casually, Goku charging at him again, as he slid to strike Tao once more, and he leapt up once more.

"Amateur!" Tao kicked Goku's chin, throwing him back down, Goku rolling away and steadying himself back to his feet as Tao landed, and he leapt with a punch, Tao dodging before swinging his ponytail.

It hit a shocked Goku on the face, making him crash to the ground.

Quickly getting up on all fours, Goku crawled away, then turned around, panting, wondering why Tao was so hard for him. He had been able to fight Young Xehanort and Freddy Krueger better than this, and both Young Xehanort and Freddy Krueger were much, much more powerful than Tao. Especially Young Xehanort.

But then again, he had a lot of people helping him against Young Xehanort and Freddy, which made it easier for him to hold his own too. Against Tao, he was alone.

He always got better though, learnt more, trained more, did more. One day, he would be powerful enough to fight Freddy Krueger and then Young Xehanort all on his own, and even beat them.

Before that, he needed to beat Tao.

Goku charged forth once more, trying to strike Tao's feet with his own, or just trying to grab them, but Tao was too fast, stepping back to avoid them, before he started dodging any other strikes Goku attempted as well.

Then, Tao raised a knee, as Goku stepped back, and then Tao was right upon him, slamming his foot down. Goku tried to step back, but Tao had trapped Goku's foot underneath his own.

Goku was about to punch, when they heard something, and turned to see a blue portal open up out of nowhere. Goku knew what that meant though.

Out of the portal came a young, blonde man in black clothes, his hair spike, a long sword on his back, three women, one in a pink dress with a ribbon in her hair, the other with long flowing hair and big breasts, wearing a white sleeveless top and a black miniskirt, the third women having short black hair, wearing a white headband, a green sleeveless top, a pair of shorts, large boots, with some ninja armory and weaponry, and with them was a dark-skinned man with glasses, having his right hand missing, and type of gun in its place as a prosthetic, while a lion-like being with a flaming tail was with them too.

Tao was surprised by the new arrivals and stepped back, as Goku looked at the blonde one, the hair reminding him of Sora.

That same blonde man looked around, weirded out, then looked at himself. "Huh?" His expression was not as stoic as what it had looked like when they'd first appeared. "What kind of world is this? Why are all of us looking so sketchy?"

"Must be a different kind of world", the woman in the pink dress said, Goku actually ignoring Tao and walking up to them instead.

"Are you guys friends of Sora?" Goku asked randomly.

"Yes", the woman with the long, dark hair replied in the affirmative.

"Not me, I've no idea who he is", the woman with the headband said while raising her hand.

"How do you know him?" The dark-skinned man asked Goku, wondering how this weird kid with a monkey tail was familiar with Sora.

"Sora is my best friend from another Universe", Goku explained to the group. "Me and some others helped rescue him from this Xehanort guy once, and then we fought another guy called Freddy Krueger."

"Why did you think we're friends with him?" The lion-like being asked.

"Your hair look a lot like his", Goku said, pointing at the blonde man's hair, making the group exchange weird looks, then look back at him. "My name is Goku, by the way."

"Cloud Strife", the blonde man said, looking ahead once more.

"Aerith", the woman in pink said with a wave.

"I'm Tifa", the long-haired woman added, smiling.

"And I'm Yuffie, the greatest ninja from the land of Wutai!" The short-haired woman introduced herself cheerfully, holding up her shuriken and doing a pose.

"Name's Barret", the dark-skinned man simply shrugged.

"You can call me Red XIII", the lion finished introductions, when Tao started marching towards the group.

"Did you forget about me?!" He roared, launching himself at Goku with a punch…

Only for Cloud to step in the way and take the punch himself. And to the horror of Tao, Cloud stood still, completely unphased, a smirk on his face.

"What….." He trailed off in horror, as Cloud moved his face, that was still connected to Tao's fist, forwards, and it pushed Tao back by a few feet, horrifying him even more.

Tao was about to try and attack again, only to feel something painful on his ass, causing him to scream out in pain. "AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAARRRGGHHHH!"

Red XIII had bitten him on the ass!

He let go, Tao staggering forwards in pain, before Tifa leapt forwards and decked him hard, turning his head the other way and making him spit out some blood, before she decked his stomach, to the same result, and then she leapt out of the way as Barret fired with his prosthetic gun, striking Tao in the chest and abdomen as he bled all over and was thrown back again.

Tao tried to get up, only for Yuffie to charge forth and kick him right between his legs, as he screamed in agony once more, before she flipped away, and then Cloud hit Tao from behind with the flat of his sword, sending him flying forth, right towards Aerith, who hit him with her staff, sending him flying back at Cloud, who again used his sword to send Tao at Aerith, and she used her staff to send him back at Cloud.

This time, Cloud hit Tao with the flat of his blade in an upwards motion, making him fly upwards while screaming in pain.

Taking the opportunity, Goku cupped his palms together. "Kame…hame….HAAAAAAAAAAAA!" The Kamehameha wave shot out, striking Tao and covering him entirely, as Upa watched with a dropped jaw.

When it was done, Tao was on the ground, bleeding all over, and his clothes in tatters.

"This….can't…be!" Tao yelled in despair, but saw the backpack with the Dragon Balls near him, and picked it up, seeing Cloud marching towards him.

Screaming, Tao got up and ran off with the backpack, throwing his flying pillar up into the air with his remaining strength, then leaping on it to escape into the sky.

Cloud sighed, as he couldn't fly, meaning Tao had escaped him.

"You guys are awesome!" Goku said, making Cloud turn around to face him noting Goku was talking to his entire group. "And so strong too!"

"Yeah, we're great like that", Yuffie said with a smirk, putting her hands on either side of her hips.

"The way you just beat him up and sent him packing, that was something", Goku had to say, even Barret grinning at how cheerful this kid seemed to be, Cloud cracking a tiny smile too. "Can I spar with some of you?"

"What?" Aerith asked.

"You all are strong, I just want to see how I compare", Goku said.

"Let the mightiest of the Wutai test you, boy", Yuffie replied as she stepped forth, holding up her shuriken, while Aerith closed her eyes, concentrating on something.

With that, Yuffie and Goku charged each other and leapt, the Power Pole and shuriken clashing, before Goku spun and tried to strike Yuffie, who flipped up to avoid while trying to give Goku a kick that he barely avoided as well, both landing.

Goku extended the Power Pole, Yuffie ducking and rolling away as she threw her shuriken at Goku, who used the Power Pole to block and deflect it back at Yuffie, and she caught it while charging him, leaping to bring it down on him again, but he jumped out of the way to avoid, then elongated and swung the Power Pole to trip her, but she again leapt to avoid, while landing on top of it, before flipping and kicking Goku's chin, sending him flying back from the impact as he fell down, and she landed, looking at him.

"You're…really good", Yuffie had to say, impressed by Goku as he got up, and then she grinned. "You should be honored that you fought Wutai's greatest."

"Oh I will beat you one day!" Goku said, then looked at the rest. "Anyone else wants to try?"

"I'll go", Tifa replied, stepping forth as she pressed her hands into fists, raising them up in front of her, taking her fighting stance, as Goku prepared to fight her too, and then both charged each other.

Goku extended his Power Pole, about to bring it down on Tifa, but she side-stepped to dodge it, then leapt at Goku's face with a kick that he leapt to the side to avoid too, before he tried to extend the Power Pole towards her chin, only for Tifa to lean backwards and down to avoid it, after which she slid at Goku, who leapt to avoid her strike, like Tao had done with him, and then he leapt downwards to try and strike Tifa, but she rolled away to avoid, then quickly swept Goku's feet from underneath him, making him fall down while she leapt back up and put her foot on his chest.

"You're really good…..and you can get much better as well", Tifa said, very impressed herself as she removed her foot, helping Goku back up. "It was great sparring with you."

"Thanks, and same here", Goku said, when a blue portal opened up once more, Aerith opening her eyes.

"There's our motherfuckign cue! But wait, how'd that happen?" Barret asked.

"I believe you'd something to do with it", Red XIII noted, turning to look at Aerith, and she nodded with a smile.

"With my powers, I managed to find out where the breach was, and make it open once more", Aerith revealed, not elaborating on how her connection to the Lifestream had made it easier for her.

"So, are you all going?" Goku asked them.

"We'd love to help, but we have pressing issues of our own to deal with, kid", Cloud told Goku, then turned to the portal. "See you."

"Aw, I was just starting to like it here!" Yuffie pouted.

"Either way, good luck with that guy", Tifa said to Goku, and Yuffie raised both her thumbs with a grin, the others giving a him a nod.

"Thanks, and good luck with your matters too", Goku replied with a grin of his own, before the six of them went through the breach back to their own Earth, and it closed at last.

Goku sighed, then turned to Upa, before seeing the dead Bora, his mood getting heavier once more.

Earth-1, Gotham City, Gotham Library

The police had all stationed themselves near the library, Gordon sipping some coffee, when the 'vroom' was heard once more, and he turned to see three toy cars rushing towards the Library.

"There they are, fire!"

A cop on top of a car did as ordered, blowing up one of the cars, causing a small explosion as they all took cover, the other two cars rushing towards their destination at full speed.

The Library doors opened and out ran Batman, holding a flamethrower, which he used to fire at another car, blowing it up too, causing a larger explosion.

The remaining toy car changed course, rushing off and away from the Library, causing Batman to run after it, eventually reaching the alley, where it lay, overturned. Picking it up, Batman dismantled it, only to see it was empty.

"No explosives." A realization hit him. "A decoy!"

Hearing the same 'vroom' sound again, Batman turned around to see two toy cars rushing right at him at full speed, and he knew they had the explosives inside.

At that moment, a rope appeared next to him, and Batman quickly grabbed it, the person above pulling him up while the toy cars reached his original position, blowing up right below him as he grunted, then leapt up onto the roof via the rope, landing on his knees.

Looking up, he saw the Gray Ghost standing before him, fully dressed up, ready to fight for justice once more.

"You…" he trailed off, staggering up.

"Like you said", Simon Trent aka the Gray Ghost reminded Batman. "You need my help."

Batman tossed the decoy car to Trent, the child within him feeling some giddiness inside. "Look familiar?"

"More than familiar, its identical", Gray Ghost noted, turning the toy car around to see the 'Gray Ghost' trademark right there. "Look, it even has the Gray Ghost brand name." He handed it back to Batman.

"Better check it for prints." He looked at his hero. "Thanks."

"Hey, I owed you one", Gray Ghost shrugged, preparing to walk off, Batman letting a smile cross his lips for one second.

"Gray Ghost."

"Yes?" Simon turned around, Batman holding up the toy car.

"You wanna give me a hand with this?"

"Uhhh…sure." Simon didn't know why he'd agreed, but perhaps, he wanted to do good. Real good. Not just be a reel hero, but a real hero, be the kind of man to look up to, like Green Arrow, Flash and Batman were.

The two climbed back down, walking to the Batmobile, when the dreaded 'Vroom' was heard another time, both of them turning around to see more toy cars rush in their direction.

"Drive!" Gray Ghost said, both masked Heroes getting into the Batmobile as Batman backed it up, then drove off at full speed, the toy cars still chasing them.

Batman steered around, avoiding the cars, then took a turn, but more toy cars started chasing them.

"There's more of 'em, and they're gaining on us!" Gray Ghost cried out.

"Try the green switch", Batman said, gesturing to it, and Gray Ghost did just that, pressing the button.

Tar spewed out from the back of the Batmobile, the toy cars being sent haywire when their wheels tried to rush forth on that, and crashed into parked cars, buses or walls nearby, all exploding.

"Hehe, we did it partner!" Gray Ghost cheered happily.

Quor'toth

Another day of travelling led the unlikely pair of Jedi and child into a forest, or as close to one as one could find in such a desolate place. The trees were twisted and devoid of life. They still however made for good firewood.

Plo Koon pulled a rock telekinetically as stones began to surround a cluster of small sticks and twigs, he had gathered. Unlatching the baby from his back and into his arms, Plo cradled him in one while his other palm was raised. Despite the unnaturalness of this world, Plo's mind still recalled physics as he focused on the molecules on the sticks and with his mind, caused them to vibrate, before a fire began to roar to life.

Connor cooed as he looked at the fire, and then to Plo Koon. The Jedi Master chuckled. "Quite a sight, isn't it, my young friend?" The baby could only babble. "This is the Force, a rare gift given to but a select few in the galaxy. The Force allows one to truly understand how all life in existence is connected." As he spoke, Plo pulled out a piece of a ration stick he had on him when he came through to…wherever this world is. He gently dropped the piece into Connor's mouth, crumbling as soon as it made contact with his tongue. The food sources here, Plo Koon did not trust them for the sake of the child, any water he found, he used the Force to purify. It was all he could do to feed the boy. Whilst the baby received the ration stick, the Jedi sustained himself through only the Force. It had brought them together for a reason, and he would trust it's judgement.

With that in mind, Plo Koon did not react as the ground started to tremble, or when a shadow began to approach at a fast pace. As it neared the fire, Plo began to make out the features. A large hairy body travelling on all fours, an elongated mouth with bony appendages on its head. He sensed ill intent, Connor felt the same as he began to fuss, but Plo gently rocked the child even as the grizzly beast came every closer. It was within ten feet when the Jedi finally looked up. The creature panicked and skidded to a stop, two feet from duo.

"Go." Plo Koon ordered firmly. The animal quickly turned tail and ran the other way. With it gone, the boy began to calm again, looking up to the Jedi almost in question. "Not all confrontations need be violent, my boy."

Earth-2196

Sam was sitting at a desk with a computer in front of a giant portrait of Jared as a cowboy with a suit of armor on either side. ""wrist bone of saint and holy reliquary. Museum-quality, from diocese in Oaxaca." - Looks legit."

Dean came in. "- All right. Auction house is in Mexico City. We could be there day after tomorrow. We, uh, case it, yank it, be back here by the end of the week."

Sam shrugged. "Or we could just buy it."

"What?! Dude, that thing's over a hundred thou—" Sam held up a black credit card.

Dean was impressed. "Hello, Jared Padalecki."

Sam spoke on the phone. "Cubrir a su amigo en la aduana. no? Bueno."

"Triple rush. No problemo. Because money is no ob—" Dean paused on seeing the credit card was done for. "This baby's maxed."

Sam put the phone down. "Wow. They said it should be at the airport first thing in the morning."

Dean finished his transaction with Jensen's credit card. "Money, man. There is nothing like it. All right. Couch. TV star. Beauty rest." Dean jumped onto the large black couch and lay down. "Ahh."

"So…." Sam trailed off. "Assuming this goes right, and we land in Angel's and Buffy's Universe, what next?"

Dean wondered about it. "…..Try to figure something out?"

"None of them are powerful enough", Sam sighed. "Can Superman help out? Or the Avengers?"

"Against God?" Dean asked, and Sam paused, considering, both of them at a loss now, Sam distressed again.

"What will we do, Dean?" Sam asked. "Any of us?"

Dean tried to say something, but he just couldn't.

Later, Sam walked into the hall and spotted Genevieve, the name of Ruby's actress doppelganger who'd played Ruby on the show. She was taking her coat off. "Hey! Hey. Hi. Hi, uh, Gen—Genevieve. Gen?"

"Gen."

Sam sighed, mentally cursing himself for lacking common sense in this situation. "Gen. Of course. Yeah. Um, so, h—how was the...Otter thing?"

Gen smiled. "It was good."

"Yeah?"

"Everybody missed you there." She handed him her coat, revealing a beer bottle.

"Oh. Wow. Wow. I bet…"

She kissed him on the lips, then backed, smiling, before holding out her hand. Sam held it, and she led him upstairs.

Earth-1, Gotham City, Batcave

Outside of Batman himself and Alfred, Simon Trent aka the Gray Ghost was now the first person to see the insides of the Batcave. But due to it being in an underground network of caves and tunnels, it was impossible for any outsider to really figure out from just this that this belonged to Bruce Wayne, and he was Batman.

Batman was analyzing the toy car, while Simon noted the place. "This place is amazing." He stopped behind the seated Batman. "Its just like…"

"The Gray Ghost's lair", Batman finished for him.

"Its almost an exact replica." Of course it was, Gray Ghost was his inspiration after all. The incident and the associated trauma had given him the desire, seeing Oliver Queen stop the Undertaking had given him the push needed to finally get started. But Gray the Ghost had given him everything else.

"Let me show you something else." He stood up, leading Gray Ghost to a room in the corner, the doors opening up, and Simon's jaw dropped on seeing all the Gray Ghost merchandise there, everything! Even more than what had been in his apartment.

"When I was a kid, I used to watch you with my father", Batman confessed to Gray Ghost. "The Gray Ghost was my hero."

"So it wasn't all for nothing then." Simon had inspired a real-life Hero due to his reel-life adventures. That meant something.

They walked back to the computer, Batman analyzing the toy car again as Simon asked. "You found something here?"

"Fingerprints", he noted. "And they belong to…" His heart actually dropped. "You!"

"What?" Simon inquired in shock.

Batman stood up, looking at Simon. "These fingerprints are yours." He started putting the pieces together. "You'd the show's only remaining copies. The Mad Bomber followed the show step-by-step."

"But I'm not the Mad Bomber, Batman, I'm not!" Gray Ghost pleaded. "I sold my Gray Ghost cars months ago to pay for my…." The realization washed over him all of a sudden, a chill running down his spine. "No! It can't be him!"

Later

At his base in the toy store, Ted Dymer slammed his fist on the table in anger. Batman had ruined it all! Hearing a beep, he turned around to see Batman standing there.

"Well, if it isn't the Dark Knight himself", Dymer said, grinning madly now.

"You're finished, Mad Bomber", Batman told him, stepping forwards. "Your game's done!"

Chuckling, Dymer turned a dial. "I don't think so." Some toy cars came forth again with a 'Vroom', circling Batman.

Batman simply said. "Time to put your toys away, little man."

"I can't, see? I need the money, to buy more toys." Dymer activated a toy monkey that played a drum. "I love toys. They can play songs." He walked to a toy ballerina in another shelf. "They can dance." He activated it, the toy ballerina dancing. "They can even eat money." He walked towards some toy rockets, throwing one at Batman and hitting his chest, then falling down. "Oh boy, they can eat a lot of money. But then I remembered an old episode of 'The Gray Ghost', and realized what else toys can do. Hold an entire city at ransom!" He activated a toy robot that marched towards Batman, then fell down on hitting his leg, while Dymer held another toy car. "And so, I can get more money to get more toys. More toys for this toy collector!" He laughed madly, when the window behind him shattered, Gray Ghost kicking his back as he crashed into a shelf, the shelf falling onto his system, destroying it.

Batman used the grapple gun to get high up, avoiding the cars, then came back down, lifting up the dazed Dymer, running out of the toy store alongside Trent, as they took cover near a pole while the store exploded, going up in flames.

Dymer stagger forth, looking at the fire. "NO!" He fell to his knees, sobbing. "My toys! My toys! My beautiful toys!"

Iron Heights Prison

Cecile, locked up behind a guarded cell, was banging on the door. "Let me out! You can't keep me here, let me out!"

Someone approached the door, and she backed off as it was opened, revealing Mark Mardon, who walked inside.

"Welcome to Iron Heights, Miss Horton", Mark greeted her in his usual smug tone.

"You…" Cecile snarled angrily, remembering him kidnapping her, as she ran out the door.

"Don't bother screaming, the guards can't hear you", he said, and she was horrified to see the guards all walking about, paying no heed to the world around them. "In fact, they can't do much of anything due to what the Trickster put in their drinks."

Losing hope, Cecile turned to Mark. "You're going to escape?"

"Eventually, but we got some legal business to settle first", Mark revealed to her. "In spite of what I do, I know a lot about the law. My dad was one, and he taught both me and Clyde about it…when he wasn't hitting us that is." His smirk disappeared for a second, then came back on.

"What legal business?" Cecile asked, a pit of dread forming in her stomach.

"A trial, with me as the prosecutor", Mark gestured to himself, then to Cecile, "you as the defendant. And the client", he snapped his fingers, and to her horror, Nimbus walked in, dragging in Flash by the legs, who was in a straitjacket of all things, but still had his mask on, and meta-dampener cuffs were on him, preventing him from using his powers, "is the Flash!"

Barry was grunting, trying to get free, but failing.

Cecile could only look at the scene in despair.

Earth-199999, Iowa

Clint walked into his farmhouse. "Honey? I'm home." A beautiful woman, about Clint's age, walked out, and kissed Clint happily.

When they parted, a little boy and little girl ran to Clint. "Daddy!"

Clint hugged them, then picked up his daughter. "Hi sweetheart." He kissed the top of his son's head. "How you guys doing?"

His daughter. "Did you bring Auntie Nat?"

"Why don't you hug her and find out?" Clint asked just as Natasha appeared at the doorway, so his daughter ran towards her, Natasha picking her up in her arms.

"It is good to see you", Laura Barton said to Natasha, before hugging Clint tightly once more, glad to see him back after the recent mess with the Brotherhood Mutants, and now she was afraid to let go.

At that moment, crying was heard as Laura parted from Clint and joked. "I think he knows daddy's home."

Clint and Natasha chuckled before following Laura into Nathaniel's room.

Portland

Hardison was, as usual, on the computers. Being in Portland while his girlfriend was off stealing some drug guy's ice with another girl made the hacker feel a little bit lonely. Not that he'd ever admit it, last thing he needed was for Eliot, or even Parker, to use that as ammo against him. He valued nobody closer than them, with Nate and Sophie, but they could be evil when they want to be. He should know, he's been evil to them too.

Good times, it started to make him smile again, before shaking his head to get back to work.

He promised to not interfere with Parker's project with little miss moneybags, and Hardison kept that promise. However, like when the lessons first started, that didn't stop him from keeping an eye out, both for Parker's sake, and for the baby thief. He knew what Parker could get up to. Last thing they need is for Parker to tie the girl in a straightjacket and bury her six feet under to practice escapism.

Their latest job though was a long time coming, he knew both Parker and Hardy were anxious to do it. After Ultron fried his equipment, something he was still sore about, and pretty terrified really, the age of the geek nearly turned into the era of the machine, a not-so friendly machine either, Parker found her mark and was rearing to go back to her student.

Only for the horrifying, if badass in an awful bad guy way, return of Magneto. Everything was hectic the last few months, Hardison was ready for some quiet time. He got none. Parker was gone to New York, then Miami, and he was left all alone to watch from afar.

Still, it let him finish Parker's study on Alahi, and their target. The Nadan-I-Noor, which was foreign for something, most likely "big ass diamond".

What he found however, was a lot more alarming. Taking a deep dive into the diamond's history, Hardison came across a truth that had his eyes widen and quickly reached for the phone.

"Hey, we got a slight problem."

Earth-1, Central City

Joe, Patty, Lloyd and the other cops were making preparations, as Static hovered nearby, asking. "You're planning to raid Iron Heights?"

"Yeah", Joe replied.

"But….won't the meta-humans be too much?" Virgil asked, worried for his uncle Joe.

"Well, there isn't much else in the way of ideas", Joe said sadly.

STAR Labs

Cisco staggered forth, aiming one hand as he was about to open a breach, but Caitlin stopped him.

"What are you doing?" Cisco asked with a groan.

"Don't go, you've still not recovered", Caitlin pointed out.

"Barry has been captured!" Cisco snapped. "I have to save him! Who else will if not me? I've the powers, and…"

"Like Caitlin said, you're injured", Henry said, walking forth, looking very concerned. "I know you want to save him, Cisco. I do too, a lot, he is my son. And Caitlin does as well. But in your condition, there's not much you can do, they will overpower you."

Cisco sighed, looking between the two, conflicted, and let Caitlin help him sit back down with a scoff. "I just…..I don't know what to do."

"Me neither", Caitlin said, holding his hand. "He'll pull through, he always has. Plus- Joe, Patty and the rest are going there."

"That's another reason to worry", Cisco pointed out.

"Patty said Static Shock is with them too", Caitlin added.

"Well…I guess that's a bit better", Cisco noted.

"Barry will come back to us", Henry said, though he wasn't sure who he was trying to convince- Cisco and Caitlin, or himself. "He will."

Iron Heights Prison

Cecile stood in the cell; Barry seated behind her as she groaned. "This can't be happening. A trial of you, after all you've done for the city?"

"This is their game, DA Cecile, until the others can find a way to help us out, we're on our own, and have to play it", Barry pointed out, as the cell door was unlocked, with Mark, Nimbus and Dillon walking in.

"It is time", Mardon snarled, picking Barry up and pushing him away.

"Better not keep the judge waiting", Dillon added, spinning a top in his hand, before he and Nimbus picked up Cecile by either side, leading her away too.

"What do you plan to do?" Cecile inquired.

"We believe the Flash is responsible for us. We were created alongside him in the same accident after all", Nimbus said nonchalantly.

"So now, we're placing him before the bar to face out justice", Dillon added, leading Cecile out.

"And me?" Cecile asked, thought she'd a feeling it wasn't anything good.

"Like I said, you're the defendant. If you let him off, you both go free. If you don't, you go down with him", Mardon shrugged.

"Amusing idea too, kidnapping you to defend the Flash since you've prosecuted us until now after he caught us", Dillon added, the door to their front opening, as many prisoners were seen howling and jeering, mad at Flash obviously.

It was set up like a court, but was a kangaroo court obviously, the 'Judge's' bench in the front, as Flash was dragged forth by Nimbus, and Cecile was lead forwards by Dillon, shivering due to some prisoners jeering at her.

"Sit down!" Nimbus pushed Barry to a chair, forcing him to sit, while Roy Bivolo stood before the court, showing he'd the keys to the meta-cuffs to Barry by holding them up, enjoying the look on his face, before he put them back inside.

"Order in the court!" He cried out, as the noise slowly died down. "Court is now in session! The good people of Iron Heights Prison vs. the self-righteous vigilante called Flash!"

As he finished, Cecile was forced to her seat by Dillon as well, right next to Barry.

"Our prosecutor is ready!" Bivolo added, seeing Mardon pacing around, "and so is our fair and impartial jury!"

The jury consisted of Mist, Top, Double Down aka Jeremy Tell, Tar Pit aka Joseph Monteleone and Trickster II aka Axel Walker.

"Spin him till he drops dead!" Dillon said.

"Blow him up!" Axel cheered.

"Gas him!" Mist roared.

"Bury him under Tar!" Joseph snarled.

"Slice his throat with a card!" Tell finished.

"I don't think this jury is complete yet. You need it to be a little….colder."

Everyone turned to see Leonard Snart walk in, with Mick Rory and Lisa Snart behind him, shocking them all.

"Snart?" Barry asked in horror. "Why?"

"The Flash was on trial, how could I miss?" Snart quipped, smirking, then looked at Mark and Bivolo. "Come on, I am the most important member of the jury!" He gestured to Mick and Lisa. "As are they!"

"I'll just burn him right now!" Mick raised his Heat Gun at Barry, but Lisa lowered his hand.

"Now, now, take it easy, Mick", she told him. "Let us see how this trial goes first, huh? It has to be fair after all."

Mick grunted, then lowered his gun, as the three Rogues took their seats with the rest of the jury too.

"And now, all rise for the most merciful and most benevolent- Judge Trickster!"

The door behind him opened, Trickster walking out, wearing a bench wig, all the criminals standing up and cheering for him, as he took his seat, then banged his gavel while pointing at Barry.

"GUILTY!"

Cecile stood up. "I was promised a fair chance to defend my client!"

"Oh very well, like it'd make a difference", Trickster groaned, then gestured to Mardon. "Mr. Prosecutor, make your opening statement."

Mardon stood up, then took his spot, pacing around, raising his hands as some lightning cracked. "Look at us, we're all freaks! And who made us this way?" He pointed at Barry. "Flash!" All howled and cheered in agreement as he added. "The Particle Accelerator exploded in STAR Labs. And there is some pretty damning evidence that Flash has associates there. Clearly, he was part of this explosion, so he could be a hero, and look at what has happened to us!" More howls and cheers.

Cecile felt two hands on her shoulders, and turning around, gasped on seeing Michael Amar aka Murmur, who made her stand up, and pushed her forth too, to make the defense.

"Go on, lady, defend him if you can", Mardon taunted her. "Call the first witness!"

"Top, on the stand!" Bivolo called out, as Dillon stood up and took his place on the stand.

"Go ahead, please", Trickster taunted Cecile, who grimaced, then walked up to Top.

"I suppose you, like your friends, claim that Flash is responsible for your actions?" Horton asked while raising a finger.

"He is", Top said, looking like a victim, Barry glaring at him. "The Particle Accelerator gave us all powers, and now, since he is the hero, I have to be the villain, as do the rest of us, and these powers have driven us all insane, its because of him due to the connection to STAR Labs. I am sure he is responsible for the accident that created us all. Created me."

"And yet, as I recall, you shot a woman in cold blood because you wanted a top she had bought for some homeless children", Cecile pointed out to him. "And after getting your powers, you robbed a bank before you even met Flash!"

"I robbed them because of him!" Top argued back. "I knew I'd have to do all of that so he'd meet me! And that top was too nice!"

"Well, you could have just helped him out then like Static Shock is doing nowadays", Cecile pointed out. "And for the top, you could have asked the woman where she got it and got one just like it."

"I was in a hurry and wanted to kill her for the top!" Dillon ranted angrily as he stood up, then suddenly shivered and covered his mouth as he realized what he'd said, before walking towards the 'Judge's' bench, looking at Trickster. "I'd like that last statement stricken from the record please."

"Record?" Trickster questioned, then looked around. "Is someone supposed to be writing this down?"

Cecile sat down next to Barry with a groan. "This is crazy!"

"That's beside the point", Barry pointed out, then added. "Just keep it going."

In the underground portion of the prison, Catwoman was sneaking through, having an earpiece, and a scanner.

Alena was near an elm tree, monitoring Catwoman via tablet as she asked. "Can you hear me?"

"Yeah", Catwoman replied, holding the scanner ahead. "What could it be?"

"It can be a meta-human, as the prison is full of it, but from the footage I saw, the dampener was destroyed after they took over", Alena noted. "Sucks there is no sound on this."

The scanner suddenly beeped as Catwoman came across a table which had some vials on it. "What is it?"

Alena researched the thing on her tablet. "Its…a new chemical drug, based on an old one. Makes the one who drinks it susceptible to lots of suggestions, and they follow whoever gives them the order first."

"I guess they snuck it into here somehow and added it to the drinks of the guards", Catwoman realized. "What do we do now?"

"Well, I'm using our money to get the components of the antidote right now, but I'm not sure how this will help with the situation at hand, and I'm outside on the rooftop and-"

"Alena!"

"Sorry, I'm rambling."

"You get the antidote components, we'll handle this", Selina said with a smirk.

"Objection!" Cecile cried out, seeing Walker on the stand. "Conflict of interest, as the witness is the judge's son!"

"If there was no Flash, there'd be no Trickster II, and I'd never have met my father" Walker rambled, then looked at Flash. "Thank you, Flash!"

"Sad, isn't it?" Cecile looked at the rest of the jury. "Axel Walker here could have had a good life away from crime, but got fascinated by his father's exploits, and reached out to him, allowing his father to twist him into this permanently."

"Ah! You're just jealous that your father isn't as loving and caring as mine!" Axel cried out, James looking at his son with what seemed like fatherly affection.

Cecile walked closer to the stand, putting her hands to her hips. "And I suppose it's that same fatherly love that inspired your father here to escape last time when Mardon broke him out…." Trickster started shaking his head and waving his hands, his eyes widening, "…..on his own, without ever taking you or reaching out to you!"

Walker suddenly looked hurt as he turned to James. "Is that true, dad?"

"Well, 'ever' is quite the ugly word", James said, only for Walker to grab him by the collar.

"You lousy, criminal, deadbeat!" Walker yelled, shaking his father angrily.

"Witness….is…excused!" Trickster cried out, the other criminals all jeering as Mist walked forth to pull Walker away, and he struggled, trying to punch James, while Cecile walked back to where Barry was restrained.

"Knock it off, baby Trickster!" Mist snarled as he dragged Walker out, who continued screaming at his father.

"I will blow that grin off your silly face!"

And then he was gone.

Down below, Selina tapped her comms. "Leonard, its gonna take a few minutes."

Leonard watched his sister on the witness stand and replied. "Well, not that hard I guess."

"So you blame Flash for you being a criminal?" Cecile was asking Lisa.

"Still being a criminal", Lisa corrected, winking at Barry, who sighed. "I'd have left it all behind, but my brother just wants to challenge Flash, and I'm his younger sister so I follow, right brother?"

"Right", Leonard said with a groan.

"But I believe the true reason for your crimes is just getting more money", Cecile shrugged.

"Well, a penny is a penny", Lisa casually replied.

"So, what if, the Judge here steals your money?" Cecile asked, gesturing to Trickster. "Would you mind?"

"No, I won't", Lisa shook her head.

"And then he blows it up!" Cecile added.

Mick was about to get up at that point but Snart put a hand to his shoulder, watching Lisa, knowing she was about to give her best performance.

Roaring, she leapt out of the stand, looking like she was pouncing upon Cecile, but she landed a little in front of her, allowing Cecile a short window to back off from her, making it look like Cecile had avoided her in the nick of time.

Nimbus and Amar grabbed her to restrain her, but she shrugged. "I'm good now."

They let her go, as she turned around, only for Bivolo to stare at her ass. "Now I'd love to tap that when this is over!"

Both Leonard and Mick were about to get up now and blow it, but Lisa turned around and-

SMACK!

Raider gasped, holding his stinging cheek, his lip bleeding a little too, as Lisa smirked, then walked back to her place next to Leonard and Mick, the former whispering to her. "Nicely done."

"Would have roasted him otherwise", Mick added.

The rest laughed a bit at Bivolo being slapped, before Cecile spoke up. "You all believe Flash is responsible for your conditions, but its obvious, that even if he wasn't around, and even if there was no Particle Accelerator Explosion, you'd all be doing the same thing, your gimmicks would be different as you'd have no powers, but you'd still cause misery in Central City. The truth is", she pointed to Barry, "you created him, not the Particle Accelerator, because you're all the reason he has to do this."

With that, she sat down, as Trickster said. "Looks like the arguments have all been done." He looked to the Jury. "Jury, you've heard the evidence. Consider your verdict."

They all talked amongst themselves a bit, trying to come to a decision.

Barry looked at them, Cecile putting a hand on his shoulder as he looked at her, and she gave him a reassuring smile.

Then, the talking between the jury stopped, and Top stood up. "Your honor, in light of Miss Horton's stirring defense, we have no choice but to find the defendant…." Cecile leaned forth, putting her hands to the table, "…..not guilty!"

There were howls of protest all over, the criminals sounding angry, as the shocked Cecile sat down, looking to Barry. "Amazing!"

Trickster clapped for the jury, then looked forth at Cecile, doing a mock bow. "Well done, councilor! You've proven that the Flash is not responsible for us", he stood up and continued, "that we in fact messed up our own rotten lives." He grinned. "And as we are all so rotten, vile and depraved….we're going to waste you anyways."

Cecile gasped in horror as the criminals cheered in approval, with the jury all standing up to cheer too, Trickster banging his gavel. "Let's do some bumbo jumbo!"

"15 seconds!"

"I shall do it!" Leonard said, taking out his Cold Gun as he aimed it at Flash. "Out of all of us, I've been fighting him the longest, and regularly too. It is only fitting. Goodbye, Flash."

Everyone cheered loudly, Barry looking at Leonard with betrayal in his eyes.

"Have a cold journey", Leonard suddenly turned the Cold Gun onto Trickster's gavel, "back to prison."

And then he fired as Trickster's gavel was frozen, and all gasped in horror, while there was suddenly an explosion underneath them, causing a lot of the ground to shatter, as many criminals fell down due to the broken floor, and Catwoman leapt up, and at that moment, a window shattered as Static Shock flew in, electricity crackling from him.

There was chaos all around as Selina flipped forth and kicked Murmur away, before scratching Double Down's face and then his gut as he gasped in pain, and she kicked him off.

Weather Wizard was about to fire when Leonard fired at him, and he was sent back, and snarled. "Why?"

"I got a better job", Snart shrugged, then tried to fire again but Mardon fired some hail that Snart ducked to avoid, as Lisa was next to Barry already and had keys, taken from Bivolo while slapping him. "Here." She unlocked Barry's cuffs, and he smiled at her.

"Thanks." He vibrated, tearing the jacket apart as lightning cracked off of him.

"The cops are mind-controlled via a drug, knock them out non-lethally", Lisa added, Barry nodding as he sped around and knocked the cops out.

Top started spinning when electricity struck the ground near him, making him back off as Static glared at him angrily. "You're not going anywhere!"

"Wrong!" Top said as he spun again towards Virgil, but he fired a powerful blast of electricity that covered the entire 'tornado', causing Top to scream in utter agony as he stopped, falling down, knocked out.

Bivolo looked at Lisa and was about to whammy her, when Selina swept his feet from under him, and then Lisa leapt forth and kicked his face, knocking him out.

Trickster was about to run out when a blast of fire struck the door before him, forming a small barrier of flames, and he turned around to see Mick.

"Uhh….wanna hear a joke?"

"The only joke is I can't kill!" Mick roared, then leapt at Trickster and started pounding on him.

Leonard rolled away to avoid a blast by Mardon, as Tar Pit grew in size, and Leonard fired at him, making him screech as he staggered back, and then Static fired at him, making him scream in pain as he was thrown back, and the form subsided, with him coming back to normal, being knocked out, while Barry sped Cecile out.

Mist was then about to take his misty form when Barry sped back in and twirled his arms, nearly dispersing him as he came back to normal, and then Barry sped forth and punched him out, while Mardon tried to fire electricity at him but he dodged, and then ran around the room before speeding at Mardon and punching him hard enough to knock him away as he fell down, groaning in pain.

Before he could get up, Leonard kicked him out, while the cops, led by Joe, Patty and Lloyd rushed in, quickly subduing the other normal criminals.

"On your knees! On your knees NOW!"

Mick finished pounding upon Trickster, and got back up, joining Leonard, as did Lisa and Selina, alongside Virgil, Barry looking at the five of them.

Joe saw the four criminals and started. "Get down on the-"

"No", Barry raised a hand, to their surprise. "They helped save me, Joe!"

Joe looked at the Snart siblings, Mick and Selina, conflicted, but Patty put a hand to his shoulder. Sighing, he lowered his gun, and looked at the four too.

"I guess we should thank you", he said finally.

"Yeah, we couldn't have done this without you", Patty added, then turned to Virgil. "Or you."

Selina got a message on her phone, and looked to see it was Alena, then showed it to Barry. "These are the ingredients for the antidote to the chemical that Trickster used on the guards. You will find them all underneath the elm tree in front of this prison."

"Got it, will get those", Barry said with a smile, then looked at Leonard. "Thank you, Snart." He looked to Lisa and Mick. "You two as well."

"I only came because they made me", Mick groaned.

"No problem", Lisa said and winked. "Tell Cisco I said 'hi'."

Barry groaned a little, then chuckled, as Leonard said. "Not a problem, Flash."

"Guess there is good in you", Barry said, and held out his hand. Leonard shook it.

They dropped hands, and then Leonard, Selina, Lisa and Mick dropped down to the hole they'd made in the ground, sneaking away from there as the Iron Heights Prison was taken over by the police once more.

Barry looked to Virgil. "Thanks for the save again, kid. You're great."

"As are you", Virgil said, then flew off via window, while Joe and Patty walked next to Barry.

"You okay?" Joe asked him.

"Yeah, Joe, I'm fine", Barry assured him.

"That's good, I'm glad", Patty said with a smile.

"Cecile did great here, she defended me from these lunatics even in a fake, kangaroo court that was set up by these criminals", Barry said. "Central City has a great DA."

Quor'toth

The next day, the Jedi and the child continued their journey when the former sensed once again, they were not alone. Feeling their intentions, Plo Koon knew that there was no true malice, only hunger, and fear.

"You can come out now. I know you're there." He announced with a calmness unnatural to this world. From behind the trees, a group of canine-like species emerged with makeshift spears in hand, their bodies orange skinned, with fur on their arms and legs, while small spikes formed a row over their heads.

"How do you make Grizaka fear?" One of the group stepped forward with the point of the spear pointed at the Jedi.

"It is not fear", Plo said. These creatures were shaken, it was they who were afraid. "I asked that she leave, and she obliged. Now if you would be so kind, I do not appreciate spears pointed at one so young." Plo told him as he shoved the spear aside.

The leader of the group barked. "Tell us your power!" He charged at the duo. Connor began to wail but Plo waited. As the Demon moved closer with the encouragement of his tribe, at the last second, the Kel Dor sidestepped the spear, grabbed the shaft and forced it out of attacker's hand and into his face, dazing him before sweeping the legs. All at once, the race of the canine-like creatures leapt at the Jedi, only for Plo Koon to extend his arms and let the Force to create a barrier that burst outwards, throwing them all back to the ground painfully.

With the spear still in hand, Plo returned his attention to the downed leader who trembled from under his goggled gaze. That shaking only increased as he stepped closer, shutting his eyes in fear for the worst. When nothing happened, the Demon opened his eyes and found the four-fingered hand extended to him. "There is no power to tell. I believe you truly defeat your enemies, by making peace with them."

For a moment, the Demon stared in shock at the offered hand, before backing away and standing on his own. "There is no peace in Quor'toth." He told the Jedi who took the child in his hand and let a calming wave of the Force sooth the child's cries. "This is life under the Old One."

"It does not have to be your only life." Plo advised the Demon before offering back the spear. With trepidation, the leader took it back quickly. "I wish you luck, my friend, but for now, the young and I must leave." With a parting nod, Plo Koon walked away with the child on his back, the Demons could only stare after him in quiet awe.

Peace…in Quor'toth? That is his power?

Earth-199999, Miami

"I thought you'd be proud."

"Proud? Of that amateurish, moronic, stupendously idiotic performance?" Parker stressed every word when they made it back to their base, AKA their hotel rooms. Quickly leaving the state could tip off Alahi, so Parker and Felicia would stay in their rooms while their transport arrives to bring them to a private airfield where they would land outside NYC, and then Kathy and Cassie would disappear from the face of the Earth. Of course, Cassie might be gone permanently if Kathy loses control and kills her.

"The diamond was right there, the security protocols were figured out, and I couldn't just-"

"Zip!" Parker shouted, something that quickly shut Felicia up. "I am going to think about your performance while you stay here and mull over what happened. If there's no mulling, I'll know."

Felicia huffed and leaned back in her chair. "Fine, whatever." Parker nodded, before adopting sunglasses, a dark wig, and a sun hat before leaving the room.

Hours later, Felicia did as Parker asked. She mulled…then she tried to get another look at the diamond and admire her work. Of course, it was only after combing through every inch of the room did Felicia know for sure that Parker took it. That was just cruel and unusual punishment. She knows how much she likes to admire the steal!

Left waiting and confined to the room, Felicia felt herself getting hungry and ordered room service. A knock on the door had the blonde eagerly approach, pulling it open to find…not what she was hoping for.

Alahi was standing there with four unfriendly looking goons, and a big tacky, golden gun pointed at her by the woolly mammoth with the bruised face.

"Hello again, Cassie."

Earth-2196

Sam received a package from an airplane. "Thanks."

In the car, Clif asked. "So I don't mean to pry, but, uh, why are we picking up packages at 8:00 A.M. that haven't cleared customs yet?"

"Just saving time." Sam entered the car with the package. "All right, here we go."

Clif asked. "We're not doing anything illegal, are we?"

Sam asked. "Would it make you feel better if we said no?"

"No."

Earth-1, Iron Heights

Cecile stood near the prison, which was cordoned off again, as Barry walked up next to her, still dressed up as Flash. "Thank you, councilor."

"For what?" Cecile asked, confused.

"For defending me in there from them all", Barry said as if it was obvious.

"Didn't do much good, did it?" Cecile pointed out.

"No, but it means a lot to me", Barry assured her. "They were criminals, and would have killed us anyways. And if I'd a bad lawyer, I'd have died much earlier. Because of you, I was still alive when rescue finally came. So, thank you."

"You're welcome", Cecile said, smiling at him now. "And thank you, for all that you do for this city."

"You're welcome", Barry replied, then sped away, making her hair and dress flutter a bit, as Joe walked up next to her.

"Its still pretty awesome", Cecile had to say.

"I know", Joe chuckled. "Nice thing you did in there from what I hear."

"Well, thank you, but its nice to have the rescue team around too", Cecile commented, looking at Joe with a certain look in her eyes. "My hero!"

"Uhhhh….thank you", Joe said, flustered, as Cecile sighed and walked off, Patty walking up next to Joe.

"You sure you're a detective?" She asked him.

"Now what does that mean, partner?" Joe was confused.

"She is clearly into you", Patty said with a shrug.

"Wha-what? Really? She is?"

"Yeah, go ask her out", Patty added, and Joe rushed forth to do just that, Patty chuckling.

Inside the prison, Lloyd was doing a final check of all areas, and looked at Myers from a distance. He was still in his cell, looking ahead at space, staring without seeing.

Lloyd gave him one last look, then walked off.

Hawkins House

Virgil had just changed back into normal clothes and rushed to the door, knocking on it. When it opened, he gulped on seeing the expression on his father's face, and even Sharon looked a bit scared this time, and wasn't enjoying it like last time.

"What's the time?"

"Uhh…." Virgil looked at his watch and his eyes widened. "11:45 PM?"

"We'd talked about this, Virgil, but you're still running around. Now, you go to school, and when its over, I want you back by half an hour, and you won't leave the house after that….for a month!"

"But…."

"Its final!" Robert said, and walked back inside.

"Well…..just follow it for a month", Sharon said with a wince and walked inside too, Virgil groaning.

"What now?" He walked in, and closed the door. "What's the point of these powers if this is what I get?" But then he thought about something. He'd helped save the Flash from all his enemies today, and taken down Top too. Plus Flash and the police appreciated his help.

"I helped them out, and Flash is all right. That's all that matters", Virgil said with a little smile, and started walking upstairs.

STAR Labs

Barry was back in now, as Caitlin and Henry rushed to hug him happily.

"Barry!" Caitlin cried out happily.

"Son!" Henry said, touching Barry's forehead with his own.

"My man!" Cisco said as he stood up, then cringed, his chest paining again. "OW!" He sat back down.

"Take it easy, man", Barry said to him.

"You were the one who just got kidnapped!" Cisco pointed out.

"And you'd been shot", Barry reminded, as he looked at the three with smiles. "I'm back now, and my enemies are locked up again. The Snarts, Mick and Catwoman of all people helped save me, alongside Static."

"Wait what?" Caitlin asked in shock. "Did I hear you right?"

"Yes, Cait."

"Weren't they criminals?" Henry asked.

"I guess they're changing their ways", Barry shrugged, then looked to Cisco. "Lisa said 'hi'."

"Uhhh….right", Cisco sighed and started blushing, as the others chuckled at his reactions, and then Patty walked in.

"Hey", she greeted them all, and they waved at her, as Barry turned to look at her.

"Hi."

"So…remember, our….date got interrupted", Patty reminded him, avoiding talking about the sex part, as Barry's team was here, and his father too.

"Yeah, you're right, let's go", Barry said as he walked forth.

"Have fun, both of you", Henry called out to them, the two nodding before Barry sped away with Patty, Henry saying. "I like her."

"Yeah, she is very good for him, and he for her", Caitlin agreed with a nod. "Well, at least this is over now."

Quor'toth

It was hours after the encounter with canine-like tribe that Plo and Connor felt the ground shake. There was something coming. A great disturbing presence through the Force, Plo Koon could feel it. The General of the 104th battalion stood ready as the ground began to shake before breaking apart in the distance before him, beyond the dead trees and into an open plain that tore itself as a large brain emerged. After being a Jedi for so many years, Plo Koon had seen much in his time, including the great Zillo Beast, and felt the tragedy of the creature's death. Yet this monstrosity, as its body began to surface and shake the world with its gargantuan size, seemed to be quite formidable.

"Hold fast, little one. We may have a problem." Plo warned the baby before bracing himself. The Dark Side radiated from the beast in waves, yet the Force was not it's power, something fouler oozed from this beast.

"YOU. DISTURB. MY. SLUMBER." Every word shook the very Dimension as rage was aimed at the unusual creature that dared step foot in its domain. A power that dared to challenge its own!

Quor'toth the Old One roared before unleashing a powerful blast of black magic from its mouth. With all his might, Plo Koon called upon the Force and raised a barrier. The Force and Demonic power clashed, the world shaking once again as the ground tore itself apart. The barrier held strong as Plo called on a power beyond his own. Grunting the Kel Dor saw as the ground began to tear apart, a deep chasm forming as the monster stepped closer.

"You will not have me." Yellow electricity began to cackle off his arms. "You will not have this child." Lightning focused into his palms. "You will have nothing." Plo Koon of the Jedi declared before unleashing the built-up power of Electric Judgement.

The lightning powered by the Light Side forced the Old One's blast back, inching ever closer to the Demon itself before finally reaching the mouth. A great explosion engulfed the head of Quor'toth that sent the gigantic creature stumbling into the chasm it made.

"PAIN! WRONG! ALIEN!"

It has been some time since he used that power, Plo thought as Connor, to his surprise, did not cry from the dark aura of the creature. Instead, the baby let out a yelp, making the surprised Jedi look over his shoulder, and found a shock.

There stood the same doorway that sent him to this foul world. Shining white light was outlining the doorway, while the black void of Space dotted by the stars lay beyond.

"It seems our time here is over, little one", Plo said as he looked back to the screeching Old One before making his way to the doorway. With no fear, the Jedi calmly walked through with his charge.

Earth-1, Gotham City, next day

The newspaper headline now said- "Batman and Gray Ghost nab Mad Bomber."

Simon Trent was at a convention, signing autographs for his fans, Gray Ghost posters and merchandise everywhere, Vicki Vale covering the event. "Gothamites have turned out in record numbers to celebrate the video release of the long-lost Gray Ghost television series. And on hand for the festivities is the toast of the town- the Gray Ghost himself, Simon Trent."

Bruce Wayne appeared in front of the line, immaculately dressed again, holding out his own copy to get an autograph. "Please make it out to Bruce."

"There you go, Bruce", Trent said, signing the copy and giving it back to him.

"Thank you, Mr. Trent", Bruce replied with a cheerful smile, then walked off alongside Alfred, before stopping and looking back once more. "You know, as a kid, I used to watch you with my father. The Gray Ghost was my hero."

"Really?" Trent inquired, a smile forming on his lips as he thought of the last time someone had said that to him.

"And he still is", Bruce added, before walking off with Alfred, the smiling Trent continuing to sign more autographs, having all his fame and income back.

But what mattered to him most now was having helped in stopping a real Mad Bomber, and the fact that he'd inspired Batman. Those were the highlights of his life now.

Earth-92

A shadow moved across Spike's face.

"You have endured the required trials."

Spike nodded. "Bloody right I have."

Slowly, painfully, Spike rolled onto his side and pushed himself up onto his knees. His face was swollen and bruised, with more bruising and injuries on his chest and arms. "So you'll give me what I want. Make me what I was. So Buffy can get what she deserves."

The Demon's eyes were green and glowing. "Very well."

Spike watched the demon nervously. "We will return..."

The demon's hand reached out toward Spike's chest. "...your soul."

The hand touched Spike's chest and it glowed fiery yellow-orange. Spike's eyes glowed the same color. He threw back his head and screamed.

Earth-2196

At the set, Sam and Dean opened the package and were surprised when the lights above them turned on. "Whoa. What?"

"We finish today in 12 hours if it kills us all. Get "a" and "b" cam for scene 12. What is this?" Bob Singer, the director, turned to Sam and Dean. "Here for the first run-through, before anyone else? Dedication."

Dean tried to stall as Sam moved the package away. "Uh, can I talk to you for a second? Um, we're gonna need the, uh, set cleared for – safe side, an hour or so."

"You need it cleared."

"Yeah. Yeah. Me and, um...Jared were gonna do some actor stuff."

Bob seemed happy. "Jensen, we're thrilled to see you collaborating so creatively. And your enthusiasm is refreshing. Dean Cain was like that on "Lois," and that man's a real actor. And we will clear this set exactly when we shoot the 2 3/8 pages we are scheduled to shoot on this set. So you do your "actor stuff" and we'll do our "camera stuff" and, uh..." Dean walked away sheepishly.

Misha appeared behind Sam. "Ooh, "priority." What's in it?"

Sam was deadpan. "I bought part of a dead person."

"Oh, cool."

Dean walked to Sam. "Uh, so, bad news. Uh...Looks like we're gonna have to do a little acting."

Sam was shocked. "What?"

""Supernatural" scene 36, take 1. Marker!"

"Action!"

Sam and Dean stood behind Misha. Sam looked utterly terrified and Dean was staring earnestly.

Misha was saying. "Balthazar is no hero. But he knows Raphael will never take him back." Misha turned around. Sam flinched, Dean walked forward and then looked down at his mark and moved over to his right.

"Cut!"

""Supernatural" scene 36, take 8. Marker!"

"Action!"

Sam seemed unsure of what to do with his arms and kept rearranging them, folding, unfolding.

Misha said. "Balthazar is no hero. But he knows Raphael will never take him back."

Dean looked at the script in his hand. "Dean (grimly): And yet, somehow you got no problem with it."

"Cut!"

Misha turned to the camera and mouthed 'what the hell?'

"Action."

Misha shoved a woman doing his hair away.

"That's because...That's because we have no other choice."

Dean said. "Don't look at the camera."

"What?"

"Look anywhere but the camera."

Sam then looked at the ceiling. "That's because we have no other choice!"

"Cut! For the love of..."

"Action."

Misha turned to Sam and Dean, both having constipated looks.

"Cut!"

Sam raised his arm stiffly. "If there's a key, then", he raised his other arm, "there must also be a lock."

"Cut."

"Action."

"If there's a key...then there has to be a lock. And when we find the lock, we can get the weapons, and then we can have the weapons. And the lock. We'll still have the lock, I imagine, because we've opened it, and, of course, the initial key."

Dean then said. "We need to get all three of that crap."

"What?"

"That's how he does it."

"Oh."

Dean looked out the window, at Bob. "Do we really need all these lines? I mean, I-I-I-I think we've covered it. Right?"

"Cut! What is happening? What's happening?! What's happening?!"

Serge replied. "An atrocity is happening."

Kevin sighed. "Seems like they should stop."

Bob wasn't going to. "They can't stop. Nobody stops. Did we get anything we can use?"

Kevin had an idea. "Well, uh, technically, we have them saying everything in bits and pieces. Could be sort of experimental?"

Bob shrugged. "Whatever. Season six."

Sam looked at the script. "Who wrote this? Nobody says "penultimate!""

"Gun, mouth." Dean made a gun gesture at his mouth. "Now."

"Moving on!"

"Right."

Misha was tweeting on his phone. ""I-m-h-o, 'J' and 'J' had a late one last night."" Sam and Dean rapidly unpacked the package and assembled the spell.

"All right, damn it. We earned this."

""r-o-t-f-l-m-a-o.""

Sera was asking Bob on the phone. "Spell it out for me, please. What is our terror-alert level here?"

"I don't know, Sera. Orange, maybe? They started talking to each other."

Sera was confused. "What?! But that's a good thing."

"Right. I thought so. But now Jensen's living at Jared's house."

Dean completed the blood sigil on the window.

"That's it?"

Bob continued. "Plus, Clif says they're smuggling illegal stuff in from Mexico."

Dean smirked. "That's it, Toto."

Kevin was saying. "Misha's celebrity tweet says it's a black-market organ thing. I'm betting drugs."

Bob shook his head. "Anyway, as far as I can see, I think they've lost any shred of talent they ever had."

Sam and Dean came crashing through the window, but just landed on the other side of the set, groaning in pain.

"Drugs."

Later, they were in Jensen's trailer.

Sam sighed. "Maybe we did it wrong."

Dean was unconvinced. "No. No, that – that spell was perfect. It should have worked."

Sam suddenly realized something. "What if it can't? Look, I was up all night, looking online. There's no sign that anything like the stuff we deal with happened here. Anything! Ever! And as far as I can tell, monsters, ghosts, demons – they're all pretend."

Dean inquired. "So nobody's hunting them?"

Sam pointed out. "No hunters. Look, maybe that's why our spell didn't work, Dean, you know? M-maybe here, there's no supernatural, no magic."

Dean realized it. "No Demons, no Hell, no Heaven, no – no evil God?"

Suddenly, the trailer blew apart, making them fall down, as Chuck appeared before them, with Michael, Zachariah and Uriel right behind him, and the bound and gagged Castiel and Gabriel were there, on the ground.

A powerful wind blew just from Chuck's appearance, causing the entire set to crumble, as the cast and crew ran here and there, with Misha pausing briefly to see his doppelganger, and tilted his head in confusion.

"Did I do drugs?"

Then he ran off as the winds picked up pace.

"Spoke too soon", Chuck said with a smirk, Zachariah moving closer to the brothers.

"How'd you find us?" Dean asked, and Chuck just laughed.

"I am God", Chuck simply said in answer.

"But then…how'd it take you so long?" Sam inquired, only for Zachariah to get into his face.

"Don't talk to Father like that!" He raised his hand, but nothing happened. He looked at his hand in surprise. "Huh?" He turned to Chuck. "What's going on?"

Uriel raised his hand, also to no effect. "What is happening?"

Dean chuckled. "Since there's no magic or Angels or Demons here, except good ol' Chuck, none of you're any useful really." As Zachariah turned back, Dean decked his face hard, sending him to the floor as his lip was split, before he kicked Uriel in the gut, making him double down in pain. "Always wanted to do that."

"That was a mistake!" Chuck snarled, raising his hand as Sam and Dean gasped, feeling themselves losing their breaths again, while Zachariah stood up and Uriel recovered.

"You will pay for that", he snarled.

"Indeed", Michael agreed, stepping forth as well.

"Let us see how you escape now", Uriel sneered.

Sam and Dean were nearly breathless, but still had some strength, and had decided if they were going down, they'd take one of these with them.

Zachariah and Uriel threw punches, only for both of them to grab the two, still losing their breaths, and they all fell down, but instead of landing in a heap, they all fell through a breach instead, Chuck's eyes widening, while Castiel and Gabriel shared a look, Michael looking at Chuck.

Earth-3013

Sam and Dean groaned, finding themselves on a floor somewhere, then sighed, picking themselves up, and turned around to see Zachariah and Uriel doing the same, dusting their faces as well.

"So…still want to punch us?" Uriel asked angrily.

"No lack of magic to save you now", Zachariah smirked, moving to them alongside Uriel.

"Are you sure there is no way to save them?"

Zachariah and Uriel looked at someone standing behind Sam and Dean in surprise, as the brothers turned around.

Mahabharat 2013 Yada Yada Hi Dharmasya plays

An Indian man stood there, having a big crown on his head, a peacock feather on top of it, and he wore a dhoti. On his face was a very kind, calm and serene smile, as if everything would just work out the way he wanted it to.

"Or maybe….there is", he finished, all four arrivals looking at him in utter shock.

Thanks a lot to gussygus28 for his outline for the Flash plot, and the FFVII/DB bit.

And thanks a lot to Brainstorm Sorcerer for his writing for the Clark/Lex and Adrian/Talia scenes, and the Parker/Felicia stuff as well as Clint leaving for home, and the stuff in Quor'toth.

Imagine Emma Stone as Earth-1 Vicki Vale, William Fichtner as Trent's landlord, Brian Tyler Henry as the store clerk and Tom Holland as Ted Dymer, thanks a lot to gussygus28 for the castings.

And of course, Emma Stone and Tom Holland are hilarious castings, aren't they? LOL!

Simon Trent would of course be played by the great Adam West (Rest In Peace), and hope 'Beware the Gray Ghost' was enjoyed here. Seriously, there was nothing to modify in this episode, even for a different Earth, and this also helps Batman grow, as while he has worked with others in this fic before, he is still an 'Aloof Ally', but the team-up with his own childhood hero has helped him open up more.

Meanwhile, Barry Allen got abducted by his Rogues Gallery, and Cecile was forced to defend him in a kangaroo court. Ever since I re-watched the 'Trial' episode of BTAS during my DCAU re-watch, I always wanted to do the episode's plot with Arrowverse Flash, since most of his Rogues Gallery appeared in the show, in just the first 2 Seasons. And unlike Janet Van Dorn, Cecile wasn't originally biased against the hero she is trying to defend. Imagine Sterling K Brown as the corrupt guard. Thank you to gussygus28 for the casting.

Plus this was the perfect time for the Earth-1 Leverage crew to come in again and help Barry. They worked well together here, but the group still has some issues to work through. And come on! Trickster was always gonna be the judge, since its Mark Hamill, and his Joker was the judge in the BTAS episode! Plus Mark's Trickster in this show felt more like a live-action version of his Joker anyways, especially the Earth-3 version.

I know how Eric Wallace made Cecile OP in the last few Seasons, but I never saw those. It seems he made Cecile an even bigger Mary Sue than Iris, which is a feat in itself. I only watched the show till Season 5 (and that's 3 more Seasons than what I should have seen), and while Seasons 4 and 5 were horrible, Cecile was good in them, as well as Season 3, being kind and understanding. Hers and Joe's relationship was one of the positives in those horrible Seasons. Fuck WestAllen, Joe/Cecile is the real deal. So I'm keeping Cecile, and she is a great lawyer here, as you can see.

But things get harder for Virgil. At least he got to fight and beat Top.

This was basically the 'finale' for the Flash side. They will still show up, but for the remaining chapters, it won't be too focused on them.

So this chapter adapted two BTAS episodes, one for Batman and one for Flash.

Meanwhile, Clark confronts Lex but can't do much, while Adrian has been healed. The diluted waters of a Lazarus Pit appeared in Chapter 7 too, when Takeo had injured Adrian.

For Cloud and his friends beating up Mercenary Tao, I just wanted to do a minor FFVII/DB crossover, and we got it. Now Yuffie is here too. Tao got a bad beating for sure. Now he is weaker than Young Xehanort was, but Goku had help against Young Xehanort, not against Tao, so he was being beaten. Right now, Goku would lose to Yuffie and Tifa, but later he'll get stronger.

Clint has gone on a well-deserved vacation, and is back home now with his wife and kids, oh yeah!

Felicia is on her first mission with Parker, but makes a split-second decision and gets the diamond in a recon mission! Parker is of course not pleased, and it seems Alahi has gotten Felicia too, poor her.

In Quor'toth, Plo Koon and baby Connor continue their journey. The creatures that appeared were all shown in the Buffyverse follow-up comics. The grizzly creature has been named Grizaka here. The orange Demons were said to have worshipped Connor the Destroyer, but here, they're awed by Plo Koon.

Then Plo Koon also fought Quor'toth the Old One. 'Electric Judgment' is basically the Light Side equivalent of Sith Lightning. Now they're out of Quor'toth.

Spike finally has his soul back!

Sam and Dean got sent to the world of 'The French Mistake' from SPN 6x15, a world where their lives were a show and they were Jared and Jensen. Like I said, I love the meta episodes, so I threw in another one here.

And yes, the 'Scream' franchise exists on 'The French Mistake' Earth. The entire show is meta, and this Earth even more so, which is why putting a meta franchise like 'Scream' there works well. Besides, I feel the other horror franchises being fictional in the world of 'Scream' is important for that franchise, being a core part of it, due to being a sort of satire. Hope the Sidney Prescott cameo was enjoyed, thank you to gussygus28 for the suggestions.

The Earth was named 'Earth-2196' because 6x15 aired in 2011 and the first 'Scream' came out in 1996.

Chuck, Michael, Zachariah and Uriel found them again but they fell somewhere else. Oh boy! Now things are gonna get crazy, as you can see.

Hope all enjoyed and see you all next time with another chapter.
