"Tousan!", a skinny 7-year-old Makoto ran with a wide smile towards an adult standing in front of him. He had the same skin color as Makoto, long black hair tied into a ponytail, bright green eyes, and was wearing a white Karate gi. The man smiled happily at Makoto.
The scene changed to 11-year-old Makoto sitting next to his father. He and his father were laughing, with the man keeping his eyes on the road. Once the traffic light changed to green, the car moved a few inches forward, before a large truck slammed into the car, just as little Makoto screamed.
"TOUSAN!".
Makoto shot up from his sleep panting, his eyes wide. He looked around to notice he was in his living room, and the sun was out. He wiped his forehead as he let out a heavy sigh before he got out of his bed.
Makoto left his room and entered the dining room and sat on the ground in front of the table.
"Oniisan!". Makoto snapped his head up once he saw a 16-year-old girl sitting in front of him. She had light skin, bright green eyes, and black hair with part of it attached to a band on the left side.
"Hina! Good morning.", Makoto said groggily making his little sister raise an eyebrow.
Kyogoku Hinata, or rather more known as, Wada Hina, stared at her elder brother intently.
"You don't look good, Mako.", She said as a beautiful woman entered and placed the breakfast tray on the table. The woman had blue eyes just like Makoto but Hina's light skin, and her black hair was long and wavy. Her body build was that of a martial arts master.
"Leave your brother alone, Hinata.", The woman said.
"But Kaasan-.", Hina attempted to say only for their mother to speak up.
"Your brother woke from a nightmare.", The woman said making Hina look at a depressed Makoto.
"Same nightmare?", Hina asked lowly making Makoto slowly nod before he started eating breakfast.
After breakfast, the Kyogoku family sat watching the TV silently in the living room, before they were interrupted by a knock on the door.
"I will get it.", Makoto said getting up. Once he opened the door, his eyes widened at the unexpected guest.
"Ohayo! Makoto-san!", Sonoko said happily.
"S-Sonoko-san?!", Makoto said surprised as he allowed Sonoko in, "What are you doing here?".
"Just as I guessed, you forgot.", Sonoko sighed as she and Makoto entered the living room, "We were supposed to hang out today.".
Makoto slapped his forehead. "Yes, I did forget.", He said regretfully before he heard his mother cough.
"Won't you introduce us?", The woman asked.
"Sonoko-san, this is my mother, Kyogoku Masaki. And this is my younger sister; Kyogoku Hinata. This is Suzuki Sonoko, my girlfriend.", Makoto introduced.
"Wait wait! Aren't you Wada Hina? The girl Ran faced in her previous tournament?", Sonoko asked confused making Hina laugh.
"Yeah, I'm the girl your best friend defeated.", She said, "I'm known by my mother's maiden name because back in my first tournament, the commentor was racist so instead of introducing me as Kyogoku Hina, he said Wada Hina. Tousan and Kaasan were popular competitors back then, you see. Needless to say, Tousan was furious back then.".
"Oh, that explains a lot.", Sonoko said before she noticed Masaki eyeing her hard. The Suzuki heiress yelped before she bowed in respect.
"H-hajimemashite!", She said nervously.
Masaki continued eyeing her more before she smiled. "You got yourself a perfect girl right here, Makoto.".
Sonoko blushed as Makoto said with a smile, "Told you before, Kaasan, Sonoko is the most perfect girl I've ever seen.".
The Black Ranger turned to his girlfriend. "You can sit with Kaasan and Hina, while I get ready.", He said.
Sonoko then glanced at Makoto's family, his cheerful sister, and his mysterious mother.
'Your sister is cool, but your mother scares me…', Sonoko thought nervously.
"It's not working!", Masumi cried angrily. She and the Rangers, but Makoto, were practicing in the dojo room.
"You aren't concentrating properly, Masumi.", Kaiden said, "Imagine a ball of air, spiraling furiously in your hand.".
Masumi raised her right hand again, and with her other hand, held her forearm. Nothing happened for a few seconds until air collected in her hand in a sphere form, spiraling furiously. Masumi smiled hopefully before the sphere disappeared, making her frown.
The Rangers were training as usual, but Kaiden decided, that next to learning how to use their elements with their weapons, they will need to learn how to control it without anything, which the Rangers found to be much harder without their weapons.
"Not all Aero Elementials got this technique from the first time, so you're making great progress.", Kaiden encouraged before he turned to Heiji. The latter had a bucket of water ahead of him, but the bucket was empty. The water was floating in the air, following Heiji's hand movements.
"How long da I have ta da dis Tai Chi training?!", Heiji exclaimed, as he felt keeping the water floating and serene in air was hard.
"Until it becomes natural to you. Until you become like water, you will keep doing this.", Kaiden said passing Heiji, who failed to keep his stance and all of the water fell on the ground, making him curse.
"Where are Akira an' Static? I know Kyogoku told us before dat he'll hang out wid Suzuki today.", Heiji asked.
"Akira said he has something important to do, but Static said he is on a date with his girlfriend.", Shinichi replied, "Static is working on a new project, next to working on the other two Rangers' weapons. Kaiden told him about the potential chosen ones, and since it turned out that Masumi knows one of them while I know the other, Static asked us what weapons they might like, and we voiced our opinions.".
"Who're dey?", Heiji asked curiously.
"You don't wanna know.", Masumi and Shinichi chorused.
Kaiden then stood next to Ran, watching as she charged electricity in her right hand, her hand in a chop form, before she sent the chop like a blade with a cry the metallic dummy in front of her, but before her move can reach the dummy, the electricity disappeared.
"You're getting better too, Ran.", Kaiden said with an encouraging nod before he moved towards Shinichi.
The Red Ranger was shadowboxing, but with every punch, he would send a small stream of fire.
"Not as good as Pyro Elementians, but you're getting there.", Kaiden said.
"So do all aliens have powers like Elementians?", Ran asked curiously.
"Not all.", Kaiden said. "Elementia is a planet divided into 7 Kingdoms, each controlling one of your elements. My planet, Eden Prime, uses Chi. It is as similar to the Chi concept here on Earth, but we use it to give us superhuman condition, but we can only have super moves combined with our martial arts. You can say, Eden Prime was a planet for super-powered Shaolin monks.", Kaiden explained.
"Guessed that from your appearance.", Masumi commented.
"Dragonians use Aura to make energy blasts and fly, as you have seen with Akira. Felinians of planet Feline have Feline-like powers, Caninians of Planet Canine have Canine-like powers, and Winguardians of Planet Winguard are basically warriors with wings. Telekinians from Telekinia have Telekinetic and Telepathic abilities. Aquarians have fish-like powers. Transyls are divided into 3 subspecies, Electrians, Lycans, and Sanguisians. Basically Frankensteins, Werewolves, Vampires. And any other species just have enhanced conditions, if we don't count FAUSD weapons and equipment.", Kaiden explained.
"Ya mentioned FAUSD before but we never actually asked ya about dem.", Heiji said.
"Federal Association of United Space Defenses. They are the ones keeping the Planets from invading each other. They were founded by Edenians 1000 years ago, and every Planet with Technology Grade 3 or above has a FAUSD base. Edenians came to Earth in 1942. They gathered Humans from different countries, even invaded and invading ones, but they were careful to choose the Humans who wanted peace, not war or colonization.".
"Like any Planet that is divided into several kingdoms, so are Earth's bases. Elementia has 7 Large bases, but Earth, because it has 194 countries, has 194 FAUSD Bases. Agents secretly work in governments and intelligence services, and they help behind the scenes to stop any war from happening, end it, or end colonization. But usually, the ones who help are from the same nationality, to prevent future problems.".
"Humans made a huge impact on FAUSD. They've made the famous FAUSD Duo Gauntlets. One gauntlet is used to charge telekinetic powers in one hand, named Telegaun, while the other is used to create from energy a shield or blade, or even used in hacking, called Technogaun. And also the Multi-Gear belt. Not only does it have pouches to place Communicators and Grenades, it also supports Hand grips, Piston-shot grapple-hooks, Energy charging-powered mechanism, Iron wire propeller, and also the main weapon, which any agent is free to choose.".
"You're talkin' about da species dat made da seven wonders of da world without technology.", Heiji said with a proud look making Kaiden chuckle.
"Indeed, but not everyone likes Humans. Some see you as war-hungry beasts, but every species has caused its wars. But some species are jealous of the fact that how Humans can be great when they reach their potential, how beautiful and perfect planet Earth is, and how Humans are technically the most perfect humanoid species to exist.", Kaiden explained.
"So how do people get recruited to FAUSD? And do they have divisions like the police?", Shinichi asked.
"Tactical Division with the following departments: Police, like any police force and its investigators. Section 12, their Espionage, Assassination, and Intelligence service. Scientifical Division with the following departments: Research and Medical. Technical Division with the following departments: Cybersecurity and Engineering. And final the Civil Division with the following departments: Planetary Diplomacy, for interactions between FAUSD bases on the same planet. Galactic Diplomacy, for interactions between different planets. Economic, for trading and business between planets, they even help FAUSD buy materials from traders. And Jurisdictional, those may be lawyers or join the Galactic Court of Justice. You may guess from the departments what sort of person may join in, and while working, if he finds someone good enough, he'll invite him to FAUSD.", Kaiden explained.
"They sound like a mix of Men in Black and the Federation from Star Trek.", Masumi mumbled.
"So do they have ranks?", Ran asked.
"Indeed. A Cadet is a student in the FAUSD Academy, found in a place in the middle of the planet, they study for 5 years even while working, 1 general and 4 for a chosen division. Then from least to highest; Major, Lieutenant, Captain, and General. The Chief is the head of the FAUSD base with the Vice Chief being the vice head. Once a month, all FAUSD Chiefs and Vice Chiefs would meet in the United Galactic Council, something like the United Nations, to see how everything is going and maintain peace.", Kaiden explained.
"I wonder if there is someone I know who is in FAUSD.", Shinichi mumbled.
Ryu sneezed as he sat at his bedroom desk. He wiped his nose and said, "Wonder who's talking about me.".
He picked up a pencil before he continued drawing on the paper ahead of him. He did so for the next minute, before putting his pencil down, and finally finished with his drawing.
Ryu was a professional artist because the picture he drew might have been taken with a camera and then had the cartoon filter applied to it.
Ryu touched the picture as he thought, looking into the girl he drew deep in the eyes, 'I'll find you… Shiho…'.
Sonoko spent the last ten minutes doing nothing but chatting with Hina. The girl shared her cheerful and bubbly personality, and since they never properly talked before, Hina wanted to know everything about her future sister-in-law. Masaki, much to Sonoko's curiosity, remained silent while throwing a glance occasionally towards Sonoko.
"Suzuki-san.", Masaki finally said, interrupting both girls' chatting.
"Do you care about my son?", Masaki said making Sonoko deadpan at her.
"What kind of question is that? I wouldn't be with him if I didn't.", She pointed out.
"I just find out curious, why the heiress of the famous Suzuki Zaibatsu would be interested in my son when she can just have anyone.", Masaki said.
"Kaasan! That is no way to talk to our guests!", Hina exclaimed with a frown.
"I just want to hear Suzuki-san's reason.", Masaki said, looking Sonoko in the eye, making the teenager feel nervous.
'Okay, this woman definitely just a former martial arts champion/current instructor. I won't be surprised if she turns out to be some secret agent.', Sonoko said before she took a deep breath.
"You are right. Anyone will want to marry the Suzuki heiress.", Sonoko started, "And I can have anyone be my love or my friend, but will they really care about me?".
Masaki raised an eyebrow but said nothing.
"The main reason I went to a normal school is because I wanted to be treated as a normal person, I wanted people to see me, and yet still some people try to suck up to me just because of my money. Kyogoku-san, I only have a few friends that can be counted on my fingers. And yes I do get excited about Kaitou Kid, the Black Ranger, celebrities, and handsome men, like most teenagers would do. But I never once thought about pursuing a real relationship with anyone, because there is a 90% chance I'll be nothing but their bank account, and once my money is gone, they will throw me away.", Sonoko explained with a low voice.
"Makoto-san was the first guy to look at me for me, and I care about him a lot. I care about him enough to know something is wrong with him. Makoto-san never forgets the time of our dates, nor does he look groggy in the morning like I saw him.", Sonoko said before she crossed her arms.
"With all due respect, Kyogoku-san, I don't know what is going on in your mind, but I'm not leaving Makoto-san.", Sonoko said stubbornly, almost shouting the last word.
"So romantic!", Hina said admiring Sonoko, making the girl sweat drop at her attitude.
"Who said I want you to leave him?", Masaki asked before a smile spread on her face. "I was just confirming my son's opinion of you, I already trust his decisions. But I'm a mother, after all, I must make sure he is okay. Sorry, If I made you nervous.", She said friendly, reminding Sonoko of Makoto's personality.
"Well, at least you're better at voicing your thoughts better than my old woman.", Sonoko chuckled as she shrugged. At this moment, Makoto walked, now wearing casual clothes.
"I hope Kaasan didn't scare you.", He joked making Hina laugh nervously while Masaki just shrugged.
"Nah, we were just getting to know each other.", Sonoko said with a smile.
'Yes, she did scare me.', She thought.
Masumi and Ran both let out a battle cry, as Masumi slammed the spiraling sphere in her hand into the metallic dummy ahead of her, with Ran doing the same with her lightning blade.
Kaiden clapped in support as he said proudly, "Congratulations! You two have learned the Spiraling Sphere and Lightning Blade perfectly.".
"Well, we did have a good teacher.", Masumi said, making Kaiden smile in response before she stretched a bit, "I would like to continue, but there is something I need to do.". She said as she pressed her Neomatrix, teleporting in pink light.
"Wonder what was dat about.", Heiji said, as now he performed his Tai Chi moves perfectly before returning back the water into the bucket.
"I think I have an idea.", Shinichi mumbled before he shadowboxed, sending long jet streams of fire from his fists.
"Excellent job, you too.", Kaiden congratulated.
"Now, I'll teach you 3 more techniques, next to helping you control your elements.", Kaiden said making Heiji and Shinichi groan while Ran stood attentive like any martial arts student.
Masumi walked in, her attention directed at the employee at Poirot Cafe. Amuro Tooru locked eyes with Masumi and he instantly read her fierce expression. He had a feeling on why she wanted to talk to him, but he decided to test the waters first.
He didn't have any problem with Masumi at all, he thought she was an interesting character with her detective skills.
"Nice to see you again, Sera-san.", Amuro said with a fake smile.
"Do you have a minute?", She asked with an emotionless tone.
"You're lucky, my break just started.", He said as he removed his apron before he knelt on the counter, "So what can I do for you?".
"Follow me, I need to talk to you in private, I'll be in the next alley.", She said before she turned around to leave.
"Azusa-san, I'll be gone for ten minutes!", He called to his fellow employee. Enomoto Azusa smiled at him and nodded, "Don't be late!".
Masumi waited for Amuro in the next alley, and once he was near her, she pushed him hard, slamming his back onto the wall, and making him grimace.
"How dare you try to hand my brother to the organization?!", She snarled.
Amuro smirked darkly, "So your brother told you? No, you must've figured it out, After all, Akai knows nothing about human feelings, and everyone is a means to an end to him.".
"Don't you dare talk about him that way.", She growled.
"Or what?", He challenged.
"Or I'll make you wish you were never born.", She threatened. Amuro smirked before he pushed her off him, twisted both her arms behind her back, making her wince, and pulled her close to him, her back to his chest.
Masumi's eyes widened in surprise, at how Amuro easily overpowered her.
"You know, you are really cute when you are fierce.", He whispered in her ear with a teasing smirk, completely missing how her face blushed from his comment.
"Remember, Masumi, I'm not just Amuro Tooru the waiter from Poirot Cafe.", He continued, "My name is Furuya Rei, NBA SB Agent. Which means if I wanted you hurt, I would've done it already. But my issue is with your brother.".
Masumi kicked him in the shin, forcing him to release her before she grabbed his arm and threw him over her shoulder. She then pinned him down with her body as she cried, "You're blaming my brother for your friend's death when he pulled the trigger once he heard your footsteps! Whose fault is that?!'".
Rei's eyes darkened. He punched her in the chest making her cough before he flipped her on her back, pinning her arms above her head with both of his hands, using the rest of his body to pin hers, all while snarling, "Your brother is the best FBI agent, so why couldn't he save Hiro earlier before he was discovered?!".
"I hate you! You almost killed my brother!", She cried as she tried to free herself, but Rei was much stronger than she was, so he was able to keep her pinned down.
"And your brother got my friend killed, so I hate him! Him and anyone who thinks he did nothing wrong, and that includes you.", He growled in return.
Both looked deep into each other's eyes as they panted from the confrontation. Masumi then looked up and down, then noticed the position she was in. Masumi's face instantly turned tomato red before she turned her face away from Rei.
"What? Afraid of me?", Rei scoffed, oblivious to their position. Masumi side-eyed him, her face still red, before her eyes moved up and down again.
Rei noticed Masumi's eye movement and imitated her, looking up and down, and then he noticed the position they were in. Rei's face turned tomato red as he was completely embarrassed.
He instantly let go of Masumi and helped her stand.
"G-Gomen!", He said still embarrassed.
"Y-Yeah..", Masumi just mumbled as she cleaned her clothes, oblivious to what to say out of her embarrassment. Their eyes then met, but this time not just from embarrassment, but curiosity and intrigue.
They both then remembered what happened in their encounter, and glared back at each other, before they left the alley, heading in opposite directions, Rei walking back to Poirot while Masumi walked away.
'I can see why girls crush on him hard…', Masumi thought with a blush before she shook her head aggressively, 'No Masumi, he wants to kill your brother!'.
'Beautiful, intelligent, and funny, my type of women…', Rei thought before he groaned as he entered Poirot, 'No, she is on her brother's side, so she isn't even a friend.'.
Makoto and Sonoko sat in a small cafe, across from each other. Sonoko was telling Makoto all about the new things happening in her life, but she didn't miss how he was zoning out every second.
"Makoto-san!", Sonoko cried, snapping Makoto out of his thoughts.
"E-Eh?".
"What's going on with you? You've been zoning out a lot and this isn't normal for you.", She asked worriedly. Makoto read the worried and stubborn look in her eyes and knew that she wasn't going to let this go, so it would be better if he told her.
"Two days ago… was the 7th anniversary… for my father's death… I keep having nightmares of his death even after visiting his grave.", Makoto mumbled making Sonoko take a deep breath.
"I'm so sorry… I didn't know!", She said as she placed her hand on top of his on the table, "If I may ask, what happened?".
"Kaasan was back at home, taking care of my sister who was sick and absent from school. Tousan picked me up. We are chatting and laughing in the car, Tousan keeping his eyes on the road. We reached a crossroad. We stopped at the red light. When it was green, Tousan drove….", Makoto sighed as he removed his glasses for a second to rub his eyes, remembering that day perfectly, "A drunk truck driver rushed in, ignoring the red light, hitting the car from Tousan's side. Ambulances arrived, Tousan and I were in the Emergency. I survived and only had the scare under my plaster. I waited and prayed patiently with Kaasan and Hina for Tousan to wake up but after a month of the doctors doing their best. Tousan died.", He explained in a heavy voice.
"I still blame myself for that day, survival's guilt. I pushed myself harder in training to be strong enough to protect my family, after Tousan was gone.", Makoto said, "But I wonder, what does he think of me now?".
"He would've been proud of you.", Sonoko said softly, "You've won so many matches and tournaments, you use your strength only for good. Your sister said your parents were both former Martial Arts champions, so I'm pretty sure both would be proud of those achievements. Besides, I don't think I've heard of anyone trying to even step near your family, so I think you're doing a great job at that too.".
Makoto smiled warmly at Sonoko. His heart was fluttering from her words, and his inner mind was praying that Sonoko would remain in his life forever. He was happy indeed before Sonoko entered his life. But now, he was beginning to question if what he knew before her was actually happiness. Because he couldn't be anymore happier in anything, like how he was Sonoko.
"Besides, I can't wait to see you being a big brother when Hina comes with her boyfriend.", Sonoko joked only to see Makoto's face turn dark. "Makoto-san… What's wrong?".
"My little sister, Hina…. Told me that she has a male friend that she has a crush on, she met him in America when she was there. It was a coincidence, but I don't like it.", Makoto complained and Sonoko smirked.
"Jealous, Big Brother Makoto?", She teased. She laughed once Makoto looked away and said stubbornly, "I have no idea what you're talking about.".
All of a sudden, Makoto and Sonoko saw people running away and screaming. Makoto looked behind Sonoko as the girl turned around, and he frowned.
A group of Gridnoids were present. But they were accompanied by a robot monster. It was twice the height of an average human, but he was very muscular, resembling an ogre or an orc, especially with the two fangs coming out of his mouth. His metallic body was green, but the eyes and the core on its chest was red.
"Sonoko-san, hide!", Makoto ordered as he and Sonoko stood up.
"W-what about you?", She asked nervously, keeping her eyes on the robots.
"I'll distract them until the Power Rangers arrive.", Makoto ordered. Sonoko nodded slowly before she ran away. Once Makoto was sure that no one was watching, he activated his Neomatrix.
"Savage Change!".
The robot monster smirked at Makoto before he spoke slowly, "The Black Ranger…. The one I wanted to face.".
Makoto summoned his weapon and swung his hammer, sending the Gridnoids that were in his way out of it. But when he swung his hammer and hit the ogre, nothing happened.
Makoto grimaced before he pulled back his fast and sent a punch. But nothing happened, his hand hurt him.
Makoto's eyes widened in disbelief; his strength had never failed him before. He looked up at the monster who was slowly laughing.
"Not strong enough?…. Naturally…. I'm Ogre…. Strongest and toughest being to exist….", The robot monster said before he backhanded Makoto, sending the teen flying feet away.
Makoto flipped in the air before he landed on his feet. Makoto clenched his weapon before charging again. He jumped high and landed behind Ogre and then tried to use his hammer and his fist to hit Ogre, but nothing yet.
"Why?!", Makoto cried in disbelief.
"Nothing you're just weak!", Ogre cried as he grabbed Makoto by his neck before he slammed him hard into the ground, cracking it, and then threw him even further away, slamming him into a light pole.
Sonoko, who was hiding behind one of the buildings, looked nervously at the Black Ranger and the monsters ahead.
The other Rangers, morphed, appeared in their colored lights, holding their weapons, and charged toward the Gridnoids. As usual, they didn't take much time, before they started charging towards Ogre.
"I finished the strongest of you…. You all are too easy.", Ogre said as he held Masumi's feet, who had jumped to perform a flying kick before throwing her hard at Ran, sending both girls away.
Heiji and Shinichi simultaneously hit the robot monster with their weapons, but no effect. Ogre grabbed both boys from their heads before he slammed their heads into each other and threw them at the girls who'd just started to get up, causing them to fall again.
Makoto remained on the ground, feeling absolutely useless. His strength, the only thing that was special about him, failed him. He wanted to stand and rush to help his friends, who were being thrown around like dolls from Ogre, but how could he when he couldn't even scratch him?
"BLACK RANGER!". Makoto turned around in disbelief to see Sonoko standing, looking at him furiously. "WHAT ARE YOU DOING?!".
"W-What?", Makoto asked confused.
"YOU'RE FRIENDS ARE BEING HURT! AND THOSE THINGS WILL HURT INNOCENT PEOPLE IF YOU JUST SIT AROUND!", She cried before she pointed at him, "EVEN IF YOU FAILED TO HIT HIM IN THE BEGINNING! THAT SHOULDN'T MAKE YOU GIVE UP!".
Sonoko's words hit Makoto right in the head. He felt absolutely stupid for moping around, seconds ago, because he couldn't touch that monster.
"Mako.", Makoto looked ahead of him, and he saw his father's spirit standing in front of him.
"Tousan…", Makoto mumbled in disbelief.
Kyogoku Hideoyashi raised his clenched fist with a confident smile. "Remember, an iron fist that is used for the sake of good and justice, can never be defeated. Don't give up, son, I believe in you.", He said before he faded away.
"Iron… fist…", Makoto mumbled as he eyed his hands.
Ran cried as she was thrown by Ogre towards Shinichi, both falling next to Heiji and Masumi. The four Rangers started getting up slowly.
"This is the fourth time we get thrown around.", Shinichi complained.
Before anyone can say anything, Makoto rushed towards Ogre, making the robot monster smirk.
"Come at me, Ranger.", He said. Makoto sent a punch to Ogre's stomach, and much to the robot monster's shock, his stomach cracked and he groaned.
"W-What?!", Ogre cried as he stepped back, and that's when everyone noticed. Makoto's hands weren't normal, but they were covered in metal. Makoto sent a barrage of punches into Ogre's stomach, cracking it even more, until all the green metallic cracked and was destroyed, revealing Ogre as a silver monster.
"A technique Sensei taught me was to absorb any Geo element to coat my body. The four Rangers stood around Makoto as Heiji elbowed him.
"Nice technique!", He cheered.
"Hideo-san would've been proud, Makoto.", Ran said making Makoto nod with a smile.
"Didn't expect any less from you, Makoto.", Masumi nodded.
"I can't be defeated!", Ogre said, gaining the Rangers' attention, "Who do you think you are?!".
Shinichi tilted his head slightly, "You're the first to ask.", He said, "Allow us to answer!".
Makoto performed some Kata as he cried, "Geo Bison Warrior; The Firm Ranger!", He then posed in a Bison Fighting style, the scene of rocks, mountains, metal, and a growling black bison appearing behind him in seconds, before crying, "Savage Black!". A black colored explosion happened behind him.
Masumi performed some Jeet Kune Do moves as she cried, "Aero Eagle Warrior; The Soaring Ranger!", She then posed in an Eagle Claws Fighting style, the scene of tornadoes, and wind gusts with a soaring pink eagle appearing behind her in seconds, before crying, "Savage Pink!". A pink-colored explosion happened behind her.
Heiji performed some Jujitsu moves as he cried, "Hydro Serpent Warrior; Da Surgin' Ranger!", He then posed in a Serpent Fighting style, the scene of waves and a hissing blue serpent appearing behind him in seconds, before crying, "Savage Blue!". A blue-colored explosion happened behind him.
Ran performed some Karate moves as she cried, "Electro Tiger Warrior; The Ferocious Ranger!", She then posed in a Tiger Claws Fighting style, the scene of lightning and thunder hitting behind her, and a roaring yellow tiger appearing behind her in seconds, before crying, "Savage Yellow!". A yellow-colored explosion happened behind him.
Shinichi performed some boxing moves as he cried, "Pyro Lion Warrior; The Blazing Ranger!", He then posed in a Lion Fighting style, the scene of burning flames and a roaring red Lion appearing behind him in seconds, before crying, "Savage Red!". A red-colored explosion happened behind him.
Shinichi stood in the middle, Ran followed by Masumi on his right, while Heiji followed by Makoto on his left.
"Power of the Neo Elements, Spirit of the Savage Beasts!", The Rangers chorused before they posed all together, "Power Rangers Neo Savages!". A huge explosion happened behind them.
"Go Rangers! Go Rangers! Go!", Sonoko cheered loudly from behind the building.
"W-Wait…. We can talk!.", Ogre said nervously as the Rangers opened their hands, summoning their weapons that were still on the ground.
"Ranged Mode!".
"Neo Smasher, Ready!".
"Savage Finisher, Fire!".
And with the use of their combined weapon's move, the Rangers destroyed Ogre into several pieces.
And in a few seconds, Ogre was back again as a large robot monster.
"Savage Zords, Unleash!".
"Zords Combine!".
"Savage King Megazord, Partial Formation!".
Ogre banged on his chest like a gorilla and roared at the Rangers, "Come at me Rangers!".
"Woah, weren't you begging us a few seconds ago?", Masumi asked.
"Let's just pound him.", Heiji said as he cracked his knuckles.
"Kyogoku, do you think we can use your technique with the Megazord?", Shinichi asked.
"It wouldn't hurt to try.", Makoto replied.
"Let's use the metal of his armor then.", Ran suggested.
Ogre roared before he ran towards the Megazord, which was shorter than it. Ogre grabbed the Megazord from its head and held it up. The Megazord placed both of its hands on the hands of Ogre.
Suddenly, the Megazord's hands then body started being coated by Ogre's armor, becoming green in color.
"W-What?!", Ogre said confused. The Megazord took the chance, kicking Ogre between his legs.
The robot monster let go of the Megazord and knelt while crying in pain, covering the area between his legs.
"I honestly didn't think that work.", Shinichi commented.
The Megazord then moved and stood behind Ogre before jumping on its back.
"Get off!", Ogre cried as he tried to push the Megazord off.
The Megazord started punching Ogre on its head. The Megazord then placed both of its hands around the head, and tore it off, before it jumped off Ogre.
The Megazord landed on its feet with a pose as Ogre exploded into several pieces.
"Savage Rangers, Victory is ours!", Shinichi declared.
Makoto was walking Sonoko back to her home, and all the time, she was telling him with excitement about the battle.
"And the Black Ranger was so cool! I wish I could meet him personally.", Sonoko said in glee while Makoto smiled.
'Wonder how you'll react when you find out you're dating him.', He thought as he rubbed his temple before he looked up, imagining his father's face.
'Arigatou, Tousan. I promise I'll make you proud.', He thought.
"So you went to Furuya-kun and confronted him?", Okiya asked as he changed the channels on TV aimlessly.
"Ah, and he wasn't too happy about it, and said that anyone who supports you is an enemy, in short, he hates me as I hate him.", Masumi explained, her face slightly blushing, from where she sat next to her eldest brother in the couch in the Kudo mansion.
"Then why are you blushing now?", Okiya asked making Masumi's eyes widen before she looked away to hide her face.
"I'm not!", She cried. Okiya raised an eyebrow in suspicion but decided to let it go.
For now.
"Yar late!", Kazuha cried with a frown as she opened her house's door.
Heiji just waved her off. "So? I'm here den.", He said, "Unless ya want us ta waste time like we did when we were tryin' to confess. Come one, dis is our first date.".
The frown on Kazuha's face changed into a smile as she said, "Well, maybe yar right dis time.".
"I'm always right!".
"Nuh uh!". And the two love birds kept on arguing on their way to the cafe.
Ran sat on the ground playing with the Detective Boys in Agasa's residence, Agasa was observing from over the counter, while Conan sat on the couch, smiling at her.
Haibara sat next to him, eyeing him heavily as she said, "You miss her, don't you?".
He looked at her confused. "What do you mean? I live with her!", He replied.
Haibara's eyes made Conan shiver as she said, "You miss her…. as Shinichi.".
"Uhhh…", Conan said nervously, "Well too bad, there isn't a full antidote yet! So I still have to wait! Hehehe!".
Haibara raised an eyebrow at his response, not convinced. Conan decided to change the subject.
"What is it Haibara? Do you like me or something?", He asked with a teasing smile.
Haibara snorted before she looked at the TV. "Definitely not. You're too cocky for my taste, and I can easily kill you.", She said making him look at her in horror and bewilderment.
Conan then heard his Shinichi phone ring. He opened it to see the messaging group consisting of him, Ran, Sonoko, Daisuke, and Ryu having a new message.
He opened the message and his eyes widened. Ryu had sent the image he had drawn and sent a message after it:
The girl I met and fell in love with (and so did she); Miyano Shiho.
The girl was indeed Haibara in her real form. Conan slowly looked at Haibara in disbelief. The shrunken scientist sensed this and looked at him suspiciously.
"What?", She asked.
"N-Nothing.", Conan mumbled as he closed his phone.
'Of all the people…', He thought.
Haibara's eyes narrowed before she looked at the TV. 'I don't know if you actually took the antidote because you're still Conan. But you have something to do with this, and if it wasn't you, then its either that Man living in your house or that detective girl.', She thought.
Conan shook his head and decided to think of something else.
'I wonder when we will meet the other two Rangers….'.
"Botchama, would you like some tea?", an old woman said as she stood at the door of a large Library.
"Arigatou Baaya, I'll finish this book and leave.", The teen sitting on a chair with a Falcon on his shoulder said with a smile. The old woman nodded before she left.
The teen closed the book as he stood up, the Falcon flying off his shoulder. He walked towards the window and observed the moonlight.
"Wonder when your next move will be, Kaitou Kid.", Hakuba Saguru asked confidently.
As the moonlight shined upon a table that had a statue; a horse statue.
A teen stood on the roof of his mouse, observing the moonlight.
"Eh… I guess I should start preparing for my next heist.", He said as he performed a card magic trick in his hands.
Kuroba Kaito smirked. "Showtime is near.", He said.
As the sound of a wolf howling echoed in the night.
