"Kaasan!", Daisuke called as he searched for his mother in the living room and the kitchen, "Kaasan!".
He went upstairs and entered her room, only to see her sitting at her laptop. "There you are! Didn't you say you will start cooking dinner?", Daisuke said as he walked towards her.
The woman immediately closed the laptop before the boy could see what she was working on before turning towards him.
"Gomen, Daisuke. I was busy working I almost forgot, but now I'm done.", She said.
Daisuke raised an eyebrow before he started to leave the room and said, "Okay, come on. You don't want to eat late at night, do you?".
"No, I definitely don't.", She replied before she glanced back at the laptop.
'He almost saw the list. I can't let Daisuke get involved in any of this.', She thought as she went towards a mirror to brush her hair and adjust her pyjamas.
'More than enough people have been hurt by them.', Wakasa Rumi thought as she stared at her reflection, her eyes turning cold briefly before she put on a genuine smile.
Downstairs, Daisuke was trying to use the microwave, but no matter how many times he pressed the buttons, the device wouldn't work.
"Here goes nothing…", Daisuke sighed as he placed his hand on the Microwave. Blue glowing lines appeared on his wrist and extended to his hands then the whole microwave and two seconds later, the microwave beeped as it turned on. Daisuke removed his hand with a smirk, the lines disappearing off his hand and microwave.
"I love being a Technopath.", He said.
He turned around once he heard his mother's footsteps behind him.
"So what did you want to tell me about tomorrow?", Wakasa asked as she opened the refrigerator.
"Sonoko invited me to the exhibition and-".
"No.", Wakasa interrupted.
'There's a chance they will be there, and I can't let them see you.', Wakasa thought in worry.
"You didn't even let me finish….", Daisuke said with a blank face before he shrugged, "Anyways, I was gonna tell you that I politely declined because I have a Shogi tournament to compete in.".
"Tomorrow? Wasn't it next week?", Wakasa asked in surprise making Daisuke deadpan.
"You need to look more often at the calendar, Kaasan…".
Rei was driving, or actually flying his car in the night sky. The car had sprouted from below silver wings, while the wheels were placed on their sides, resembling a hovercopter.
He kept on flying until he reached the ocean. His car passed through an invisible barrier, and then he saw the islands he was heading towards.
The island had several parks, fields, garages, and small hotels. In the middle was a large black white and building, written on top of it FAUSD, with the Japanese flag placed on top of the building.
Rei pressed a button, putting the car on autopilot, before he held a smartphone-like device and pressed a button, teleporting in blue light.
Rei appeared in the reception room of the building, greeting the different humans and aliens with a smile, as he walked towards the elevator.
He pressed the buttons numbered 5445. The elevator glowed green before it went down underground.
The reception and the building were nothing but FAUSD's reception and communication with the civilians, but the secrets and the true base, was underground.
The elevator door opened, and Rei walked out into the main room, where FAUSD's history is displayed on the side walls, the logo placed on the middle wall. The walls and floors were metallic silver, but the door was white with a black outline.
Rei walked left and the doors at the left wall automatically opened. He kept on walking until he reached the end of the hall, where a white door was written on it 'CHIEF'.
He knocked on the door and waited for a few seconds, before he heard someone say, "Enter.".
Rei opened the door, entered, and closed it behind him. The room resembled any head of a company's room. He looked around, and saw the following standing in the room; Nina, Ryu, and Dan.
"You're late.". Rei looked at the man sitting behind the desk, his boss.
"Organization business, Kuroda-san.", Rei replied.
Kuroda Hyoue snorted, "Not an excuse. You need to care more about time, Furuya!".
Dan sighed as he mumbled, "Where is Elise when you need to calm him down?".
"Yes sir.", Rei simply said, holding back the instinct to roll his eyes.
"Anyways, we need to discuss what happened with Cognac, the Power Rangers, and the potential recruits.", Kuroda said, getting straight into the topic.
"Potential recruits?", Ryu asked surprised.
"He means Akai Shuichi, whom Rei was supposed to recruit but failed.", Nina pointed out making Rei glare at her.
"It's not just Akai, if we can actually get the whole Akai family, it would be an achievement.", Kuroda commented, "Also, Hondou Hidemi would make a great FAUSD agent.".
"What about Mary Sera?", Dan asked, "You said you'll contact her personally since she doesn't contact anyone but the Chiefs. Even FAUSD British Chief is the only one to contact her.".
"Mary is a special case. She doesn't 100% trust anyone even in the MI6, after her sister's death, because she believes Elena didn't fail at hiding but someone betrayed them.", Kuroda explained, "And only the MI6 was involved, and since most FAUSD Britain are MI6. You get the idea. She doesn't exactly tell the Chief himself everything too.".
Rei was listening to everything with interest but his eyes was looking around until they landed on a photo placed on Kuroda's desk, the only one. It was Kuroda in his younger days, with both eyes present, and his hair was dark.
Next to him was an alien woman he had an arm around her. She had light almost pale skin, long silver-gray hair with a purple headband on her head, two strands sticking out like bangs, she had two cat-like ears instead of human ones. Her eyes were different colored; her left eye was bright blue and her right eye a light silver blue, almost transparent, but her eyes were more cat-like than human.
Between them, was a girl who resembled more a human than an alien. She was 8 years old in this photo. She had light almost pale skin, silver hair tied in a ponytail with two strands as bangs. Her eyes were just like her mother, but they looked human. Her ears too were human.
Rei became solemn instantly. He, Date, Hagiwara, Matsuda, Hiro, and Natalie were friends and so was that girl. She wasn't the same age, but younger than them by 4 years, so she was their little sister, and she idolized them, the same way they idolized Morofushi Takaaki and Hagiwara Chihaya growing up.
If only that-
"Furuya!". Rei snapped out of his thoughts once he heard Kuroda's booming voice. The chief glared at Rei intensely.
"Did you hear anything of what I was saying?", He asked.
"You were talking about Mary Sera, correct?", Rei replied.
Kuroda snorted, "We finished that topic some time ago…. We are now discussing what will happen at the exhibition…. Where was your mind when we were talking?".
"I was thinking about what I saw at the Organization days ago.", Rei instantly lied, "What happened with Snake.".
"Not surprising, they're monsters after all.", Nina said coldly.
"Anyways, the exhibition is incredibly important. It'll definitely have important figures that must be protected, that includes the Suzuki Family. And you have to stop the BO agents.", Kuroda said as he looked at Rei, "Zero?".
"I'll do the best that I can without blowing my cover, Kir will be there as Mizunashi Rena to report the event, so I guess she'll do the same. Snake hasn't notified me with any changes or a plan, but he said he'll tell me hours before we head there for safety.", Rei explained.
"Shadow?".
"I'll be there just as a visitor, if anyone from the police presses too much, I'll just tell them I'm undercover with the Secret Police.", Nina shrugged.
"Black Cat?".
"Sonoko added me to the list of fighters with Mouri and Kyogoku, so I don't need to pretend or come up with a story.", Ryu answered.
"And Cowboy?".
"Interpol Samurai guy, easy. And also Mirror will continue her double role.", Dan responded.
"Good, also keep an eye on Nakamori Aoko if she comes. I don't think Snake will let her live this time. Good luck, everyone.", Kuroda said.
Haibara sat on the couch, headphones on her ears, listening to one of the tapes her parents had left her.
"Shiho… I recorded this tape and the next for you and Akemi, to tell you about my sister, Mary Sera.", Elena said.
Haibara raised an eyebrow in surprise. She'd picked that tape randomly while thinking about how to deal with her family issues, but then the tape ended up being about said issue.
"You know while recording this, you're still a baby, and yet your personality is similar to hers!", Elena chuckled, "She's quiet and serious, one might think she is cold, but she is very caring!".
"You know, she's actually working on us escaping from the BO but it is not easy, especially since the BO has their eyes on us.".
"She has two kids now, but she expressed to me during the few meetings we have in secret that she wants to have a girl too. If she does, the girl will be a year younger than you! She has Shuichi, he is 15 years old, and he acts like her. Then there is Shukichi, who is 11 years old, and he acts goofy and friendly just like Akai Tsutomu, Mary's husband. Akemi liked the boys!".
"Shiho, don't believe anyone who tells you that Mary abandoned you, knowing her, she'll keep on searching for you and Akemi until the day she dies.".
"If you're listening to this, and I'm dead, I assure you that she feels guilty about it, you'll find a tape written on it for M.S, I made this for her. Can you give it to her once you see her?".
"Now, Let me tell you more about Mary and her family!".
As Haibara listened to Elena retelling her memories about Mary, her mind wandered to her encounter with Masumi and her words, and then she remembered whenever Akemi would tell her about their family.
'I guess…. I guess I won't lose anything if I give Masumi a chance…', Haibara thought.
"Tomorrow is the exhibition day.", Kaito said as he stretched his arms after finishing today's intense training, "And after everything, I wanted to ask, did you guys figure out the criminal?".
"Yeah, we did.", The four detectives chorused making their mentors and their other teammates look at them surprised.
"That quick?", Makoto asked surprised.
"It wasn't that hard, known for quite a while.", Masumi said as she stretched her back.
"I can hardly call that a case.", Shinichi said as he rubbed the back of his neck.
Ran looked at him and immediately blushed, seeing that was now shirtless to change from his training shirt into a casual one. His body wasn't like Makoto's muscular one, but his athletic build showed some starting signs of more muscles appearing on his body.
"Take a picture, it'll last longer.", Masumi teased Ran making the girl yelp before she glared at her.
"Masumi!".
"Ah, da criminal is stupid honestly.", Heiji added as he wore his jacket.
"And so is her reasoning.", Saguru said as he brushed his hair with his hands.
"So? Won't you tell us?", Akira asked.
"Where is the fun in that?", Shinichi replied, now wearing his casual shirt.
"Oh, of course, you detectives always require a show and an audience.", Ran rolled her eyes.
"Elementary, my dear Watson.", Shinichi replied with a smirk making Ran scoff.
"I disagree this time.", Kaiden voiced his opinion, "There is a chance like always for a Robot Monster to attack, but definitely there will be a larger attack from the Organization, so I think you should reveal the criminal early on, so you can easily handle dealing with the Organization or a robot monster, or both.".
The detectives looked at each other before they nodded with a smile.
"I guess we'll reveal everything tomorrow before checking out the exhibition.", Shinichi said.
The exhibition day has finally arrived, and it was to be held at Lake Rock Museum, a museum that was found on a cliff, in the middle of a large lake. Underground the building was seven floors, a floor for each painting, with the stairs down there in each floor filled with yellow sunflowers, with hidden cameras placed among them for Kaitou Kid.
Jirokichi and Sonoko had given their opening speech before allowing everyone to enter. Agasa, Makoto, and Ran with the Detective Boys, handed their tickets in, being the first people to walk in.
Behind them, was Aoko, with her mother Midoriko accompanying her close, and Akako, and walking behind them was Kuroba Kaito.
Then came after them were Nina and Ryu.
And then, a group of 14 civilians.
In the security room, were Ginzo, the detectives, Amuro, the Samurai, and Kudo Shinichi. Jirokichi then joined them while Sonoko went to enter the exhibition and join her friend and boyfriend.
"I think there is something we should get done before being worried about Kid.", Shinichi said making everyone look at him.
"Wait a minute, where were you anyways?", Ginzo asked suspiciously.
"I was sick, but Ran and my friends told me everything in detail, and that was more than enough to figure it out.", Shinichi said.
"Figure what out?", Kogoro asked.
"Who is really behind ruining this exhibition.", Masumi smirked.
"Let me guess, it's Azuma, isn't it?", Ginzo said as he glared at the surprised man.
"Me?!", Azuma cried.
"I did my search on you! You killed your brother 6 months ago in Arles, France! He died in a field of Sunflowers, the same way Van Gogh died!", Ginzo cried.
"Wait! I did kill my brother yes! But that was because he wanted to leave the Ashiya painting there while I wanted it back after our father sacrificed his life to free it!", Azuma explained, surprising most in the room.
"Y-You mean the Ashiya painting is the real one!?", Jirokichi cried in disbelief.
"We found the man who worked in his youth back at the Azuma Mansion, and he saw Azuma Kiyosuke sacrificing his life to save the painting.", Saguru explained, remembering what Kid had told him days ago about Jii and what he knew about the Sunflowers painting.
"He lied that it was a fake just to protect from the allies forces back in the war.", Saguru added.
"But Azuma wasn' da one who was counterfeitin' Kid cards or tryin' ta ruin da exhibition, goin' as far as implantin' a bomb on da plane.", Heiji said.
"So who was it then?", Amuro asked as he eyed all Samurai.
The four detectives smirked before chorusing, "The culprit is Miyadai Natsumi!".
"Oh, what a surprise….", Dan yawned, earning an elbow from Keiko.
"Don't ruin the fun for the kids, Dan.", She said with a smile, trying to hold her laughter.
"Sorry, love, but it wasn't that hard.", Dan shrugged.
"What are you talking about?! I didn't do anything!", Natsumi cried.
"I think you mean, you didn't get the chance to do anything.", Masumi pointed out.
"We've done some searching about you all, before reaching to a conclusion. That's how we already knew about Azuma. And you, Miyadai, are a Van Gogh fanatic.", Shinichi said.
"The bomb was implanted near the 5th painting, the Ashiya one, and you even asked Kaitou Kid to steal it, all because you believe its fake, like most people. But your misguided affection blinded you, and made you want to burn that painting.", Saguru said.
"Kid called one of us, and he said he was able ta record da call da stranger called him ta ask him ta steal da paintin', and guess whose voice it was wid some help from da police?", Heiji smirked.
"P-P-Police?!", Miyadai mumbled in disbelief.
"We sent the record Kid sent us to the TMPD, and they were glad to help, even Megure Keibu and his team are on the way.", Shinichi said.
"Why do you sound so surprised? Did you really think that people would understand what you did and let you go?", Masumi snorted, "You put people's lives in danger! A bomb on the plane?! Are you kidding me?! You were gonna kill everyone and yourself for that stupid reason?!".
Amuro blinked a few times as he stared at Masumi during the whole deduction and smiled at fierceness in the end.
'She's even more interesting when showing her skills as a detective.', He thought.
The deduction show was interrupted by a knock on the door before it opened, Megure walking in with some officers, Miyadai slumping once she saw him.
"I assume you're already done with the deduction.", Megure guessed as the officers took Miyadai and Azuma away.
"Yeah, did you position officers at the exhibition?", Shinichi asked.
"What officers?", Jirokichi asked confused.
"To avoid anything like what happened at the hotel, we've asked the TMPD to secure the exhibition, and to increase the security at the entrance.", Shinichi said before he opened the door, "Now if you'll excuse me, I need to leave now since this turned out to be a fake heist after all.".
"Yeah, I guess we all can enjoy the exhibition now.", Masumi added as she and the other Rangers followed behind Shinichi.
And then they left.
Haibara eyed Conan as he talked and chatted with the Detective boys while walking in the exhibition. He was way too cheerful and talkative than he ever was, and that was suspicious. What made her even more suspicious, was when Shinichi arrived and Ran gave him a quick hug.
That meant this wasn't Kid. If Ran, as Conan said, was able to figure out that Kid was fake at the plane, then this was the real Shinichi. So who was that Conan next to her?
"Shinichi-niichan! Long time no see!", Mitsuhiko greeted.
"Hey kids! It's been a while.", Shinichi greeted with a smile, ignoring the death glares he was receiving from Haibara.
"Is your case over? Conan-kun keeps saying you're away on a case.", Ayumi asked curiously.
"Not yet, but I decided to take a break before going back.", Shinichi shrugged, "Let's go see the paintings, they've got the real culprits behind trying to ruin the exhibition, and Kaitou Kid won't strike.".
"Oh man! I wanted to see Kid for real!", Genta grumbled.
"There is always next time in Kid heists.", Agasa pointed out before he walked to Shinichi and whispered, "Are you really Shinichi-kun?".
"Do you want me to repeat what happened when you first met me in my clothes as a seven-year-old?", Shinichi smirked making Agasa blink before he asked him in disbelief.
"T-Then how?! I thought you were actually Kid! And who is this Conan?!", Agasa asked confused.
"I-".
"Yo Kudo!". Shinichi turned around to see Ryu and Nina walking towards him.
"Been a while, you geek.", Ryu continued as he fist-bumped Shinichi.
"At least I don't go around street fighting.", Shinichi mumbled before he was pulled into a bone-crushing hug by Nina.
"Shin-chan! I've missed you!", She cooed making Shinichi blush as the kids laughed at him, Conan the loudest.
"Shinichi-niichan doesn't sound so cool after being called Shin-chan!", Conan laughed.
"Nina, I need air!", He cried making her release him. He lightly glared at the kids before intensely glaring at Conan.
'Static you….'.
Nina let go off him before she lightly pushed him, making him almost fall on Ran.
"I think this place is perfectly romantic for you too!", Nina teased making the teens blush, "So why don't you spend some time alone?".
"I think we should check out the other paintings, what do you think Hakase?", Ryu approached the professor with a smile only to flinch once he saw the man glaring back at him.
"I'm keeping my eyes on you…", Agasa threatened before he walked with a worried Ryu, a snickering Nina, and confused detective boys.
Haibara looked at the interaction with a smirk before she looked back at Conan, an idea forming in her mind, as she glanced at the backpack she had.
And now, Shinichi and Ran were alone in front of the first painting.
"We haven't had some time for us in a while..", Shinichi broke the silence.
"You mean in forever…", Ran side-eyed him making him laugh nervously.
"Do I need to apologize again about Conan?", Shinichi rubbed the back of his head.
Ran pretended to think before smiling, "I don't think so.".
Shinichi then held Ran's hand with a blush as he said, "At least now, I can be free to express my feelings.".
Ran, now blushing, brushed a strand behind her ear as she moved to stand closer to Shinichi, their shoulders touching. "And Otousan isn't here to ruin it.", She pointed out making Shinichi chuckle.
The Red Ranger then noticed the news team. He pulled Ran and they moved away out of the camera's view, as the cameraman started the camera, and the reporter spoke.
"We are live here from inside the exhibition of the Sunflowers paintings by Vincent Van Gogh!", Mizunashi Rena reported with a smile before she continued giving a brief history about the painting and then talking about the exhibition.
"Who would've thought that Mizunashi Rena is actually a CIA agent undercover in a criminal organization?", Ran wondered before she blinked once she noticed the cameraman, "Shinichi… Isn't that Akira?".
Shinichi looked surprised once he noticed that the cameraman was Akira. "I do recall Static saying Akira worked numerous jobs using his experience back on Dragonia before settling down as a cameraman…. But I didn't think he would work with Hondou-san.", He said.
Shinichi and Ran watched as Rena finished her report before Akira smiled widely as he ended filming. The reporter handed her mic to one of the news team as Akira did the same with the camera.
"How was I, Akira?", Rena asked as she walked closer to Akira.
"Perfect.", He said mesmerized making Rena blush as she chuckled.
"You know there is no such thing as a perfect person.", She pointed out before yelping once Akira grabbed her from her waist. His hands were now around her waist while her hands rested on his chest.
"Maybe, but to me, you're perfect.", He smiled as he leaned closer to Rena.
Shinichi and Ran turned around quickly, their faces now blushing, with looks of disbelief on their faces.
"Akira's girlfriend is Hondou-san….", Shinichi mumbled.
"And they're kissing behind us… in public…", Ran mumbled.
Shinichi then smirked devilishly before he turned around. Akira was no longer kissing Rena but she was still in his arms. Shinichi then took a photo and sent it to the S7 group.
Heisei Holmes: Now we know Akira's girlfriend.
Karate Princess: Really Shinichi? Now you're just acting like Sonoko.
Scarlet Detective: You've gotta be kidding…

Heisei Samurai: Now I understand why Static once said dat Akira's girl threw him over her shoulder once…
Prince Of Kicks: Looks like they've been together for a while. I have to give it to Akira, he didn't show any expression when you told us about Hondou-san.

Makoto and Sonoko stood in front of the second painting, admiring it for its beauty.
"Isn't it beautiful?", Sonoko asked as she wrapped both her arms around Makoto's arm, making him blush.
"A-Ah.", He nodded with a smile.
"Sonoko-san, how about we go on a date tomorrow?", He asked making her look at him surprised.
"Don't you have a tournament upcoming or something?", She asked.
"No, I'm not going anywhere.", He said, 'I can't risk leaving Japan considering my duty as a Power Ranger…'.
"Great! I know someplace that we haven't gone to yet you might like!".
Aoko walked faster making Kaito and Midoriko run slightly to catch up with her.
"What's with the sudden walk run, Aoko?", Kaito asked confused.
Aoko glanced behind her with a smile, "Akako-san asked!".
"Ah, your friend wants to talk to your detective friend?", Midoriko asked with a smile as she saw Akako standing with Saguru alone.
"Oh hell no…", Kaito grumbled as he started to walk back towards the two, only to have Aoko grab him from the back of his shirt.
"Where are you going, Bakaito?!", Aoko demanded.
"I'm not gonna let Koizumi stand-alone with Hakuba, she's dangerous and evil!", Kaito couldn't help but snarl.
"No, she's not! She's just lonely and needs a friend but she's scared!", Aoko defended as she crossed her arms.
'Only if you knew, Aoko.', Kaito rolled his eyes.
"Aoko, you don't exactly know Koizumi, okay? Trust me, she's not who she says she is.", Kaito insisted.
"Maybe I don't know her that well, but I know that she asked me at school to help her mend things with Hakuba-kun, saying she'd made a foolish mistake and wants to fix it. And she even insisted on me bringing her a ticket to attend today, and I remember her mumbling something about protecting me this time…", Aoko explained making Kaito raise an eyebrow.
"Say, Kaito-kun.", Midoriko started, "Why are you so worried about Koizumi?".
"Uhhh…..", Kaito couldn't find the words to explain his reason without exposing Akako. He may kind of hate her, but she didn't expose his identity, and he owed her that at least.
"She wanted to end my friendship with Aoko because she thinks I'm a bad person.", Kaito lied.
"Oh really?", Midoriko asked with a raised eyebrow, not exactly convinced.
Kaito looked away before noticing the man who was standing far away, but close enough to see the fifth painting. He smiled once he recognized who that man was, Jii Konosuke, his assistant.
'Jii-chan, I did it all for you.', He thought. He smiled wider once he saw the man waving at him with sign language.
'Arigatou, Botchama…', Jii signed his thoughts with a grateful smile.
Saguru and Akako stood side by side, silent, while looking at the fourth painting.
"Hakuba-kun-".
"You're a persistent type of person, aren't you?", Saguru interrupted in a cold tone, "You haven't given up trying, even at school.".
"Can you just give me a chance? What happened was a misunderstanding and a mistake, I admit it.", Akako said, "I'm not like those Magi who killed Serena, okay?!".
Akako covered her mouth for a second before Saguru slowly looked at her then he narrowed his eyes as he asked with a low voice, "How do you know my mother's name?".
"You told-".
"I never told anyone my mother's name…".
Akako looked away for a second before she sighed as she explained, "I…. I read our version of the news…. So, two years ago, I read that there was a fire, and all the residents of the house died. The resident was actually a wanted criminal, who would always brag about killing Non Magi…. They found a list in his house of all the Non-Magi he killed, and Serena Hakuba was among them.".
"Did he ever say why?", Saguru demanded to know.
Akako shook her head, "He just feels that Magi should be ruling not Non-Magi, so he went on a killing spree, and your mother was one of the 25 Non-Magi who were killed.".
"At least he is in hell.", Saguru said as he rubbed the bridge of his nose, trying not to remember the day his mother died.
"Hakuba-kun…. I don't know why or how, but I can see you're no longer that determined to catch Kuroba… So you've given him a chance… Can't you give me a chance too?", Akako asked.
"Don't you want him under your control and worship you or something?", Saguru asked with a raised eyebrow.
"He aggravated me because he was able to resist my powers, but… I don't actually like him..", Akako shook her head.
Saguru remained silent before he sighed, "Alright… Maybe we can start again at being friends.".
Akako smiled, "I'd like that.".
At the fourth painting, Masumi was standing alone, with nothing on her mind as she stared at the painting.
"What do you want?", She asked with a frown.
"And here I thought I could sneak up on you.", Amuro chuckled as he walked to stand next to her.
"In your dreams.", Masumi snorted.
"I think there is a huge misunderstanding here between you and me.", Amuro started.
"And whose fault was it?", Masumi asked with a raised eyebrow.
"Look, our job isn't black and white, if Akai were in my place, he would've done the same in order to get higher in the Organization.", Amuro argued making Masumi deadpan.
"If that was how my brother thinks, why did he try to save Scotch then?", She asked making him blink, realizing the mistake in his choice of words.
"Furuya, I know you're pissed at losing your friend but putting the blame on Shuu-nii won't help.", Masumi sighed, "For God's sake, He told me you're one of the best agents in NPA Sb, if not the best. So don't you think it would be better and beneficial for good for you both to team up?".
Amuro remained silent at Masumi's words.
"If you want me to trust you, for whatever reason, you need to prove it. Do something that can make me or my family trust you.", Masumi said as she stared deep into Amuro's eyes.
At the third painting, Dan sat in front of it with a blue-eyed Japanese brunette.
"Whatever made you change into a different disguise after the deduction?", Dan asked.
"I saw Keiko Anderson arriving and talking to some of the exhibitors, so I decided to remove the disguise, now it's your turn to cover up my mess.", Vermouth replied.
"Don't I always do?", He asked backing making her scoff. "Well, at least we convinced her this is Interpol business before going on the plane back then and you went in her place.".
"Snake hasn't said anything yet, but I wouldn't put it past him to strike without telling me or Kir or Bourbon. He only said he and 13 other agents are heading to the last floor to plan.", Vermouth said.
"Not surprised, he wasn't that bright to begin with to understand the importance of teamwork.", Dan snorted.
Vermouth then wrapped her arms around Dan's right arm as she rested her head on his shoulder.
"Careful, you might ruin your femme fatale persona.", Dan joked making Vermouth slightly smirk.
"I could still easily kill you even while I'm like this.", She said before she softly smiled.
"It's been a while since we had a private moment like this.", She said.
Dan sighed as he placed his other hand on Vermouth's hands around his arm. "I've missed you, Chris.", He said as he kissed the top of her head.
"I've missed you too, Dan.".
At the sixth painting, Heiji leaned on the wall as he yawned.
"I'm not inta art an' dat stuff… If only Kazuha was here.", He complained before he noticed a few police officers talking with each other.
"I really hope nothin' bad happens…", He mumbled.
Snake stood with a group of men as he sneered at the seventh painting before he looked at the men. They were all wearing casual clothes so they looked like mere ordinary civilians. People still hadn't reached the seventh and last floor yet, so it was empty.
"I asked Madeira for a squad of animal mutants, with non-codenamed agents for a reason, because you'll be strong and determined to get this right.", Snake said.
"Maybe Kid won't steal anything because this turned out to be a fake heist, but he is here…. He'll definitely want to see the exhibition he saved…", He spat the last sentence.
"My only order for you… With the exception of Vermouth, Kir, and Bourbon…. Transform, go the six levels above!….. And kill everyone!".
Everyone looked in horror as they heard animals growling, at the entrance where the stairs that would lead to the seventh floor would be were 11 animal humanoids; Lion, Shark, Hyena, Bat, Tiger, Bear, Panther, Bull, Lizard, Crocodile, and Wolf, with Snake, in his mutated form, leading them.
Snake and the other mutants roared making the people run away screaming while the officers stood frozen in place. The 12 mutants charged and headed towards the entrance where it would lead to the other floors.
Heiji rolled out of their way as he cursed before hiding in a hall as he cried, "Savage Change!".
The police officers pulled out their guns and fired at the humanoid Panther and humanoid Lion. Heiji, after morphing, summoned his Zord in its partner form.
"Azure, get ta da other Rangers fast! And help any civilian on da way!", Heiji ordered as he summoned his weapon, "Hydro Vortex!".
Azure nodded once before slithering fast towards the fifth floor.
Kaito and Saguru's eyes widened once they saw Azure entering the fifth floor, followed by numerous people running away screaming.
"What's going on?!", Aoko cried.
"Aoko! Midoriko!", Ginzo cried as he arrived from the fourth floor. He grabbed both from their arms as he said, "We have to get out of here! The cameras were destroyed and seconds later I received a call from an officer of monsters attacking and-".
"Nakamori….". A hissing cold voice said.
Kaito, who had walked away from the group and went to Jii, stared in disbelief at the snake humanoid, recognizing the voice.
"Snake?", He mumbled making Jii look at him in shock.
"That's Snake?! The Snake we always face?!", He cried.
"I'll explain later, Jii-chan! Get the Nakamori family and get out of here!", He cried.
Snake walked slowly towards the family just as the other beasts raced to reach the remaining floors, behind him and accompanying him was a humanoid wolf, a werewolf.
"You…", Ginzo recognized the voice.
"Yeah… Me… And thissss time… I won't let any of you live..", Snake hissed.
"Contego!", a female voice cried as Snake charged at the three frozen humans, only for him to hit a red barrier.
"Nani?!", He cried in disbelief before seeing Akako slowly walking towards him, raising her glowing red palm.
"Koizumi-san?", Aoko mumbled in disbelief.
"I failed to help you before, Nakamori-san, but not this time.", She said as she cried, "Potentia Maxima!".
Snake and the Werewolf were sent flying by an invisible force just as the Savage Green and Savage White landed in front of them, holding their weapons, their small Zords floating above them.
"How the hell do you guys know when shit happens?!", Ginzo cried.
"Our small Zords help.", Kaito said pointing at the floating Zords above them. Saguru and Kaito then pressed the vehicle button as they said, "Partner Mode!".
Arthur and Fenrir, in their respective lights, changed into Mecha robots the same size as a car.
"Azure, check for any remaining civilians and help them, We'll tell the other Rangers!", Saguru ordered and the Blue Zord nodded before slithering away.
"Arthur, Fenrir, you two do the same.", Kaito ordered and both Zords nodded.
"Fenrir, find Jii-chan, place him on your back, and run with him, you might find him with an old woman named Umeno.", Kaito whispered to Fenrir and the Zord nodded with a growl.
Saguru helped the Nakamori mount Arthur before he looked at Ginzo.
"Send helicopters and ambulances here to help, we'll handle those monsters.", Saguru said before he approached Akako, as Ginzo pulled out his phone to do as Saguru ordered.
"No! I can fight!", Akako said as a red aura surrounded her before she floated a few feet off the ground. Saguru wanted to argue with her but he knew it was useless so he turned around to look at their enemies, just as Fenrir and Arthur charged to the floor above.
Kaito activated his communicator, "Animal Mutants on the way! Use the Zords to help the civilians!".
Masumi walked away from Amuro to activate her communicator, and her eyes widened at Kaito's words before she and Amuro turned behind them to see the people being chased by the monsters.
Masumi hid in a side hall and Amuro did the same, standing next to her.
Both stared at each other intensely before cursing, knowing they had no other choice.
Masumi activated the Neomatrix, "Savage Change!".
Amuro shook his wrists, to change the bracelets in his wrists into white gauntlets before crossing his arms over his chest as he cried, "Mask On!". A suit, using nanotechnology, traveled from the gauntlets to the rest of Amuro's body and hands, a FAUSD suit with all equipment.
Masumi and Amuro stared at each other, or more at their transformed forms, before Amuro said, "Call me Zero.".
"It's either Savage Pink or Pink Ranger.", Masumi responded before she and Amuro ran out of the room, to see a humanoid hawk and a humanoid Panther. Masumi then summoned both her weapon and Zord, in its partner mode.
Suzaku let out a cry before it flew towards the previous level.
Vermouth and Dan immediately moved away from each other and pulled out their guns and aimed at the man standing behind them.
"There are animal mutants attacking, just like Cognac, they are on the way.", Kaiden said as he spun his bo staff.
"The bastard must've brought with him other lab rats, He didn't tell me nor Kir nor Bourbon.", Vermouth said before she cursed in English.
"I came to notify you, but now I'll go help the Blue Ranger, send someone to help the Black Ranger, so at least the battle would be 2v2.", Kaiden said before he ran then jumped high as the end of his staff spread like a fan, with the forward being larger than the backward one, before he held onto it as a glider, and glided towards the next level.
"We just can't take a break, can we?", Vermouth mumbled as Dan quickly sent a text to Nina and Ryu.
"What do you think?", Dan snorted as he pulled out his pistol and so did Vermouth.
"I'll go help the Black Ranger.", Nina said once she read the text she and Ryu received from Dan before she ran away while Ryu whistled loudly, gathering everyone's attention.
"We all need to leave! There are monsters attacking down there, and there is a fire too!", Ryu cried causing the people to look alarmed before they started to leave the place running. He said the second sentence knowing most won't believe the first one.
"Organization attack.", He said once he approached Agasa making the man look grim before he hurried the kids to run in front of him.
Ryu and Shiho made a brief eye contact before Ryu looked around to see Akira and Rena helping the people leave but Ran and Shinichi were nowhere to be seen.
Ryu took the chance that no one was looking and did as Amuro did, "Mask On!", wearing his FAUSD suit.
A few moments later, Savage Red and Savage Yellow appeared from the crowd, holding their weapons. Both summoned their Zords in partner mode and stood ready.
Haibara who was the most reluctant to leave and the last to leave the exhibition, stared in disbelief and awe at Ryu, having seen the transformation, before narrowing her eyes at how when Shinichi and Ran weren't here, the Red and Yellow Ranger were.
Akira then attempted to push Rena away before she stood firmly as she eyed him.
"I can help in this fight too.", She said determinedly making Akira sigh heavily.
"I have got no choice, you won't change your mind no matter what I say or do.", He grumbled.
'I hope this doesn't end miserably…', He thought.
"Haibara-san, come on!", Conan cried as he returned and grabbed Haibara from her wrist.
Haibara glared at Conan before pulling her hand free and using the water bottle, she held with the other hand, opened it, and spilled it all over Conan.
"Wha!", Conan cried as he started to experience spasms with electric sparks flying before he changed in blue light back to Static.
"Tell Kudo, the Red Ranger, I said hi!", Haibara smirked before she ran to find Agasa and the others.
Static then pressed his chest, spasming once more with a large electric spark, before trying to stand properly on the ground.
"T-that wasn't nice…", He said dizzily.
"Mask On!", Nina did as Amuro and her brother, wearing her suit as she arrived at the second floor below.
"Sonoko-san, you have to go, now!", Makoto cried. Sonoko was about to argue but her eyes widened once she spotted the mutant beasts that were nearing, with the people running ahead.
"What about you?", She asked.
"I'll help the people, now go!", He ordered again. Sonoko nodded before she ran away. Makoto hid in the side hall and cried, "Savage Change!".
Makoto then summoned Taurus in his partner mode and ordered, "Get Sonoko on your back and run!".
Taurus nodded before he charged. Sonoko was running ahead and yelped once she felt something pushing her from behind, carrying her on its head, before it pushed its head up, to push her back on its back.
Sonoko was frozen in surprise, that she didn't notice Nina, in her suit, running in the opposite direction and passing them.
Nina then stood next to Makoto, who now held his hammer.
"You-".
"Finally we meet, Savage Ranger.", Nina interrupted, "Maybe we can talk, but after we settle this.".
Makoto eyed the masked armored female in suspicion before he slowly nodded.
Megure watched in disbelief as ambulances and police cars arrived, with the few people who entered the exhibition running away. Some had minor injuries, while others had fatal ones while trying to escape on the stairs of each levels.
And then he saw the Ranger Zords arriving. Taurus had Sonoko on his back, Arthur had the Nakamori family, Fenrir had Jii and Umeno, Azure had a few kids on his back, Raiga had two injured people on her back, Suzaku had held with its talons from the back of their shirt Ishimine and Anderson, while holding other two Samurai with its beak. Leon had 3 fatally injured people on its back.
The Paramedics immediately helped the injured people off the Zords while the others just got off or were let go, and ran away.
"Sonoko! Are you okay?", Jirokichi asked in worry as he ran towards his niece who mounted off the Zord.
"Yeah, the Black Ranger's amazing Zord saved me!", Sonoko said with hearty eyes before laughing once Taurus nuzzled her with its nose, thankful for her compliment.
"I need to go in there!", Kogoro cried only for Megure to frown as he held the man back.
"Mouri! Are you an idiot?!", He cried.
"Ran is still in there!", He cried angrily as he tried to free himself.
"And so is Conan-kun! I don't see him anywhere!", Ayumi cried making Kogoro look at her in horror.
"Wait… Where are Ran, Makoto-san, Sera-chan, and Ryu?", Sonoko asked, worried about her best friends and boyfriend.
Haibara kept a cold face, but deep down, she was extremely worried. She may not stand Shinichi at the moment, but he was still her friend, and so was Ran, and Ryu was her boyfriend, and Masumi…
Masumi was her cousin, her family.
"First, we help the people here leave, including the kids, then we can go back in and save them!", Megure cried before Kogoro broke free.
"I won't wait-". Kogoro was stopped dead in his tracks by Raiga standing in his path.
"Get out of my way, metal crap!", He growled as he attempted to run ahead, only for Raiga to push him back with her head with a roar.
Kogoro glared at the Zord before noticing the look in its eye, the determination and insistence, the ferocity. He knew if he told anyone now that the look on the mecha's face was like the look on Ran's face when she was determined to save someone from danger.
"Fine… But bring my daughter and that brat back, alive.", Kogoro said with a low tone making Raiga nod.
Down near the lake,
A white portal opened, and an army of Gridnoids walked in followed by a robot monster. The robot monster was a muscular steel humanoid with six metallic spider legs out of his back. And as usual, eyes glowing red and the red core present on its chest.
Suzaku, flying high, saw them, and let out a cry at the Zords. The Zords shared a look before nodding. Suzaku flew down, holding Azure in its talons, as Arthur, Raiga, Leon, Fenrir, and Taurus, walked further away from the cliff, before charging at top speed, and jumped off the cliff.
Just as Suzaku dropped Azure on the ground across the robots and flew next to him, the Zords landed on the ground before walking to stand next to their fellow Zords.
"What? The Rangers aren't here to face me, Arachnasteel, and my Gridnoids?", The robot monster snorted.
The Zords stood side by side in the same order of their Rangers and growled, glaring at the robot monsters.
Static snapped out of his dizziness before his legs turned into jet boosters and he flew upwards, saw the scene with the Zords, dashed down there, and stood ahead of the Zords.
"Mind if I join? I hadn't battled in a long time.", Static said confidently as one hand changed into a chainsaw while the other changed into a beam cannon.
The Zords just looked at each other before they smirked as they looked back at the monsters.
8 showdowns were now about to begin.
Static and the Savage Zords eyed the Gridnoids and Arachnateel.
Heiji readied his katana before smirking under his helmet once Kaiden landed beside him, the fans no longer extending from his staff as he held it across him with a focused expression, both then glared back at the Werepanther and Werelion.
Masumi spun her glaive as Amuro pulled out one of his guns, glaring at the Werebat and Werebear.
Makoto clenched his hammer tightly while Nina pulled out her guns before pressing a side button on them, causing the muzzle to move upwards before the blade beneath extended, forming two blades. Both glaring at the Werebull and Werehyena ahead.
Vermouth and Dan held a gun in their hands, both eyeing the Weretiger and Werelizard ahead.
Shinichi and Ran threw their Neo Strikers to Rena and Akira who caught them and aimed at the Werecrocodile and Wereshark, the same with Ryu aiming both his guns already.
Kaito glared at Snake while Saguru's eyes went back and forth between Snake and the Werewolf, Akako doing the same.
Kaito then smirked confidently before he said in English,
"It's Showtime.".
Okay... I have exams starting from May 18 until June 27, final exams... And its either I pass my third year or fail...
So ignore the weekly updates, they will be much slower, maybe every 10 days or 2 weeks etc., it's because studying will be my no.1 priority, and I want to push my GPA higher and further. And if things go really bad, it might end up being in hiatus.
This chapter was actually very long, but for story purposes, I made it this one and another with the battle and the aftermath.
