5-year-old Kaito was standing near the rails on a cruise in the ocean. He was there with his parents, godparents and their kids, the Mouri family, and the Kudo family. And as usual, a murder had happened, and Yusaku had figured it out. A crazy man believed his wife cheated on him, but he was delusional, so he poisoned her.
But the man wasn't going to let himself get caught by the security until they reach their destination, and the police would then take him away, so he rushed towards the rails as he cried, "LIKE HELL I'LL GO TO PRISON!". He grabbed Kaito from his shirt, ignoring his cries as he smirked evilly.
"You'll be my scapegoat if anything happens!", and he jumped with Kaito over the rails into the ocean.
"KAITO!!", Chikage and Yukiko chorused as they had wanted to run to jump behind the boy, but the security tried to keep them away for their safety.
Sharon Vineyard, on the other hand, with a cold murderous look on her face, dashed and evaded all guards, before she placed her leg on the railing, pushed herself, and jumped high gracefully, making people look at her in awe before she dived down into the deep waters.
The man was stupidly trying to swim away with Kaito in his hands, but he was having trouble with the boy struggling and moving around, and during that, Kaito found himself with the man surrounded by floating dead fish, and Kaito accidentally touched more than one of them, as if seeing dead animals and being surrounded by them, wasn't enough, especially when some of them had bite marks, or torn into half, so he could perfectly see what is inside the fish's body.
"Screw that!", The man cried as he threw Kaito further from him in the ocean, and he started swimming away, stupidly believing he can escape.
And that's when they saw a Shark coming.
The Shark had grabbed with his jaws the man underwater, him now screaming in horror, being interrupted by water entering his mouth while struggling to keep his head high.
Kaito then saw the water turn red just as the man screamed one last time as he rose from the water, and Kaito then saw the Shark's bloody jaws maul a part of the man, before pulling the rest of its body back underwater.
The scene was horrifying for little Kaito, that he forgot to swim and remained frozen in his place, watching the horror movie-like scene in front of him.
Kaito could see everything, but he found himself unable to act, scream, or do anything. He couldn't even hear Sharon arriving, or feel her as she carried him on her back, and swam back to the ship, receiving help from the security, who threw a lifebuoy to pull Sharon and Kaito up.

Kaito was sitting on the ship's top deck with a towel around him, Chikage and Toichi close by, with the first smothering him with hugs and kisses while crying. 17-year-old Nina stood by, with 5-year-old Shinichi and Ran, and 7-year-old Ryu standing near her, having been told by the adults to give Kaito some space.
"Looks like the shark got the crazy husband, and it seems Kaito had seen it, that's why he is like that.", Yusaku deduced.
"Don't feel bad for a second for the guy.", Dan scoffed before he turned to Sharon who had a similar towel around her, comforting Yukiko who was crying.
"I'm just glad Kaito and Sharon didn't get hurt…", Dan mumbled making Yusaku raise an eyebrow.
"Are you sure she isn't your wife?", Yusaku questioned suspiciously.
"My wife died after giving birth to Ryu, remember? My relationship with Sharon is an on and off one, with breaks and all.", Dan answered easily.
Yusaku then looked back at Sharon who was now being hugged tightly by Yukiko as a thank you, while the other was trying to get her to stop crying. His eyes then moved to Nina, who had knelt to comfort the kids, Shinichi and Ryu had a worried look while Ran was close to crying, all worried about Kaito.
And it didn't take genius to notice the common features between Sharon and Nina. No, it didn't take a genius to see that Nina was almost the spitting image of Sharon.
"I find that hard to believe with how Nina is a spitting image of Sharon.", Yusaku voiced his thoughts.
"Didn't know they replaced DNA testing with seeing if people had same hair and eye color.", Dan snorted making Yusaku raise an eyebrow, still not convinced, "You need evidence for anything you claim, Mr. Mystery Novelist.".
"What are you talking about?", Sharon asked as she and Yukiko walked towards the men.
"I was wondering what the whole mystery around you and Dan is, what are you two hiding?", Yusaku asked as he eyed Sharon, but he failed to notice how Yukiko had a knowing look as she looked at Sharon from the corner of her eye.
Sharon then chuckled before she answered in American English, "That's a secret… A secret is what makes a woman, woman.".
Dan smirked proudly, Sharon smirked smugly and challengingly, while Yusaku just deadpanned, and Yukiko tried to prevent herself from laughing at her husband's expression.
Kaito's eyes then zeroed in on something, he saw nearby on the cruise, someone holding a fish.
"FISH!!!", He cried in fear, entering a panicked state, as he tried to hide himself behind his father. His actions caused the alarm bells to ring in the adults' mind.
"Kaito it's okay! It won't hurt you; I won't let it hurt you!", Toichi tried to calm his son down.
"Kaito, we are all around you, nothing is going to go wrong!", Chikage tried to calm her son.
And it took them a couple of minutes to get the boy to calm down.
"Why is he afraid of fish? Shouldn't he be afraid of sharks only?", Yukiko questioned confused, having like everyone watched everything over the railings.
"I think I know why.", Nina said bringing the adults attention to her. She then pointed down at the swarm of dead fish, where some small sharks had now arrived.
"There are dead fish down there, he must've seen them up close and maybe even touched them.", Nina guessed.
"Kaito… Kaito… KAITO!!!".
Kaito almost fell off his chair in class, snapping roughly out of his memories. He looked annoyed at Aoko, who was calling him, as he sat back on his chair.
"What?", He said annoyed.
"Don't 'what' me, I've been trying to call you for a couple of minutes here!", Aoko crossed her arms.
"I was busy thinking about our upcoming mock quiz!", Kaito lied making Akako and Saguru deadpan at him.
"Since when do you care about exams?", Akako asked.
Kaito looked at Akako and that was when he noticed her leaning comfortably on Saguru's shoulder, like a couple, and Saguru had no problem whatsoever.
"Since when do you lean on Hakuba's shoulder like that?", Kaito asked with a teasing smirk.
It was only then that Akako noticed what she was doing, blushed heavily with Saguru, as she stood up straight while Saguru looked away, both pretending nothing had happened.
"Don't try to change the subject! What were you thinking about?!", Aoko insisted.
"Kid's next heist.", Kaito lied for the second time.
"Oh yeah… Kid hadn't appeared after the fake heist he did with the paintings, I wonder when will he appear again.", Aoko wondered while Kaito sighed, glad he got Aoko to think of something else, but he failed to miss that Saguru was still eyeing him.
Later,
At the Ship,
"Dese are actually great ideas for moves.", Heiji commented as he glanced at Saguru's notebook.
The group were sitting in a circle with Static and Akira in the dojo room, and apparently, each one of them, had a notebook for the ideas they had for their moves.
"I'm still testing them though.", Saguru added.
"They're actually pretty good for someone who just had them as ideas, most of the moves I have were from some anime honestly.", Shinichi admitted.
"Plus one!", Heiji and Masumi chorused before fist bumping with a smirk.
"I don't think that is a bad idea, I mean, no one would see an anime or cartoon move coming!", Akira added.
"And we personally believe having a notebook for ideas is great!", Static added.
"Kaiden-sensei still hasn't talked to us…", Ran mumbled sadly. The others face expression then shared the same look before looking at Akira who sighed.
"The day before that battle, he had a memory of when he lost his family, and seeing you screaming back there triggered those emotions in him again…. It wasn't easy…", Akira mumbled, "Static and I maybe be adopted as Daichi, Static, and Akira Kaidenson…. But he considers you his children too… and he believes he failed in protecting the former Rangers, so he doesn't want what happened ten years to happen again…".
"Kaidenson…. Then why do you go around by Orionson?", Makoto asked curiously.
"To avoid any suspicions around FAUSD or even normal people. Orionson sounds more common than Kaidenson.", Static explained.
The only one who was silent and had a blank look on his face was Kaito. He was, however, listening attentively to everyone. Before he looked at his team.
Shinichi and Ran were a couple, no more secrets between them. Shinichi, Masumi, Heiji, and Saguru were detective rivals and best friends, Saguru quickly getting along with them. Especially since he had previously interacted with Heiji and Shinichi (as Conan), but Masumi was already his friend.
Makoto and Ran were friends since childhood, and Makoto's nice personality made it easy for him to befriend the other boys. Ran was literally an angel, anyone would want to befriend her.
So everyone in the team was getting along well, but Kaito felt out of place. What would happen if they knew he was afraid of fish? That was something he'd get ridiculed of. And he hadn't told them yet why he was doing these heists, but they seemed to trust his decision, why?
His mother found it easy to leave him and spend most time in Vegas, so why did they trust him that much? And he was bothered by Kaiden being mad at them, because he was the second father figure he had after Jii.
Kaito snapped out of his thoughts once he received a slap on the back of his head as he heard someone cry, "Oi! Kuroba!".
Kaito glared at Masumi as he rubbed the back of his head, "What?!".
"We've been calling you for quite sometime here.", Masumi said, "What's wrong?".
"He still feels the effects of the vision… he's been like that even at school.", Saguru immediately said, not giving a chance for Kaito to lie, and ignored Kaito's glare.
"Pffft! You're delusional! Just like how you can't see how Koizumi is staring at you as if you were a rare jewel when you aren't looking!", Kaito shot back, and smirked once he saw Saguru's face turn red.
"Wait wait, Koizumi is crushin' on ya an' ya didn' tell me?", Heiji asked feeling offended, "I thought it was just ya who was crushin' on her not both of ya!".
"Koizumi… the witch girl huh?", Masumi wondered, "Strange choice.".
Ran then knelt to Masumi, "If what Sonoko had told me was true, then this isn't any stranger then having an NPA SB undercover agent interested in you, and vice versa.",
Masumi yelped before she hissed, "He isn't interested in me! Nor do I like him!".
"You should've explained that to me before Sonoko got to say what she believes.", Ran shrugged with a teasing smirk making Masumi frown.
"I was busy…", Masumi mumbled.
"Thinking about Amuro-san?".
"Ran!".
"Nice dodge, Kuroba, but that still won't stop me from asking, what's wrong?", Shinichi asked Kaito, "Does it have to do-".
"Don't you dare!", Kaito seethed, not wanting Shinichi to reveal his phobia to his team mates, last thing he needs is a howling laughter to happen.
The alarm went off and the monitor automatically appeared showing Gridnoids attacking near a harbor.
"I guess we'll continue that conversation later then.", Shinichi said as he and the Rangers got up before they activated their Neomatrix.
"It's Morphin Time!", Shinichi cried before they all cried, "Savage Change!".
And the 7 Rangers stood ready before they teleported out of the ship.
"You know, now we remember that the Rangers had trouble hiding and morphing among civilians….", Static mumbled.
"And they won't be able to have a unmorphed fight without risking their identities being exposed.", Akira said before he snapped his fingers, an idea popping in his head, "Say! Didn't nearly all Rangers have a civilian uniform? What if we give the Rangers something like that with a helmet to keep their identities safe?!".
Static blinked a few times before a large smile spread in his face, "Akira, you're a genius!!".
The Rangers had arrived near the docks and immediately charged at the Gridnoids. But suddenly from the water, jumped out two robot monsters and leaped towards the Rangers.
The Rangers flipped backwards several times before jumping high backwards to land away from all robots, and that's when Kaito paled once he saw what the two robot monsters looked like.
The first was a blue humanoid robot swordfish with sword blades for hands, and his nose was his third sword. The second was a larger humanoid gray white shark robot, with sharp claws for hands.
"We missed them this time, didn't we Jaws?", The swordfish one asked.
"Are you stupid? It's clearly obvious we missed them, Blade!", The shark one cried.
"We need to split up to fight them and the Gridnoids.", Shinichi said, "Kyogoku, Hakuba, and Sera, finish the Gridnoids. Ran and Hattori will fight the Swordfish one, while Kuroba and I will handle the Shark one.".
"Right!", The Rangers cried and charged towards their enemies.
Each of them summoned their weapons, with Saguru, Masumi, and Makoto jumping high and landing in the middle of the Gridnoid group and started battling.
Ran and Heiji blocked with their weapons the blades of Blade, ducking to avoid the third one of its nose.
Shinichi swung his scythe, only for Jaws to hold it by one hand, and Shinichi was shocked to find the other hand trying to attack him, Kaito was supposed to keep him occupied too. He freed his weapon before rolling away from the shark robot.
He then looked behind him, "Oh no…..".
Kaito was standing in his place, panting relentlessly as he looked at the fish shaped robots, immediately recalling that incident where he developed his phobias from fish and sharks.
Ran ducked another attack from Blade and looked at Kaito as she mumbled, "Oh no.".
"What's wid him?!", Heiji cried as he pulled out his Neo Striker blade form, blocking the nose and the left hand with his weapons.
"He's Icthyophobic and Galeophobic!", Saguru cried as he swung his axe, cutting off the heads of 3 Gridnoids.
"So that's why he's been silent a lot today!", Masumi cried as she impaled two Gridnoids standing behind each other.
"Why didn't he tell us?!", Makoto asked confused as he swung his hammer, smashing 4 Gridnoids, "Phobias are nothing to be ashamed off!".
"Hey! White Ranger! Why don't you join the party?!", Jaws cried as he opened his mouth and shot a white energy beam at Kaito.
Shinichi immediately and jumped, landed in front to Kaito, and blocked the beam with his scythe. Shinichi did his best to hold his own against the continues beam, but he felt his feet being pushed a bit backwards.
Kaito wasn't focused at all. He couldn't hear his team calling for him. He couldn't notice Shinichi blocking a deadly beam for him. And he couldn't feel his legs. His body and survival instinct told him to move and run away, run away to protect himself from those fish. But his mind and consciousness told him to fight, to help his friends.
So he found himself standing in his place.
Blade then smirked before he jumped back away from the Yellow and Blue Rangers before he jumped and landed next to Kaito.
"Hello."., He said.
Kaito cried as he fell back on the ground, his fear increasing by ten folds at seeing Blade's fish like appearance up close. He started crawling backwards, keeping his eyes on Blade, afraid he might do something if his eyes left it.
"Thisisn'trealthisisn'trealthisisn'treal!", Kaito cried incoherently.
"Oh? I'm very real.", Blade smirked as he raised his blade, "Wanna see how real I am?!!".
Before he can swing his blade at Kaito, he felt something pressing the front neck and pulling him backwards.
"Don't make fun of my brother's phobia you piece of shit!", Masumi growled as she pulled harder with her Glaive. She and the other three were done with the Gridnoids.
Masumi then removed her Glaive before kicking Blade away from Kaito, and towards Heiji and Ran, who swung their weapons sideways, creating an X shape scar on their chests.
Jaws' cried and stopped his beam once he felt a heavy hammer hit him on the back of his head. He turned around to face his attacker only for Saguru to swing his axe. Jaws rolled out of the way in the last minute, but Saguru managed to cut off his nose.
"Shinichi, stick with Kaito, we'll handle the robots!", Ran said, taking the co-leading role as the second Ranger.
"Sera, Mouri, You're wid for me. Kyogoku an' Hakuba, Da land is yars!", Heiji said, also taking the co-leading role with Ran as the third Ranger.
"Kaito, you okay?", Shinichi as he knelt across Kaito.
"I can't do this… I can't do this… I shouldn't have been chosen for this when I'm afraid of something stupid as fish….", Kaito shook his head.
"What are you talking about?! Nearly everyone has phobias! And we all have our fears! Or how else did the visions work on us?!", Shinichi cried.
"You all managed to overcome them, I didn't it! Because I've seen my true phobia! I've seen my issues!", Kaito argued.
"That's all what you got from what we said?! Kyogoku still suffers from survivor's guilt from time to time, even when it wasn't his fault. Sera apparently has father issues and that trafficking case she still gets nightmares from. Ran is Necrophobic in case you've forgotten, or why else does she scream every time she sees a dead body despite encountering them so many times?! She had this since she's seen her uncle's dead body! Heiji and I suffer from the fear of our loved ones being targeted for our work, same with Hakuba!", Shinichi cried at Kaito as he shook his shoulders.
"You and Ran aren't just the only ones with specific Phobias.". Kaito's head literally whipped around, to see Kaiden standing behind him with a smile, before he knelt down.
"Static and Daichi are Coulrophobic, and Akira is Arachnaphobic.", Kaiden said.
"Coulrophobic? Really?", Kaito asked amused.
"Have you honestly seen how clowns look like?!!! We don't understand why people laugh at them, here or on Eden or on Dragonia or any other Planet!!", Static cried from Kaiden's communicator.
"And spiders…. I mean…. I've seen one up close and…. Ehhh…. I think I'm going to throw up just recalling their appearance.", Akira said nauseated.
"I'm not afraid of blood or dead bodies at all, but I'm a hair from having a phobia, ever since I've lost my family in that incident.", Kaiden explained, "We aren't perfect beings at all. We have our faults, but those are what make us special, and we can use them as our strength points.".
"Besides, Phobias can be overcome, not just by help from someone but by yourself. I can't guarantee you'll hug a fish when you see it, but it'll be normal for you to see them.", Kaiden explained before he looked at the robots to see the Rangers engaging with them carefully, unlike last time.
"Faults are what makes us learn to be better, after all.", He said.
Kaito looked at the robots, and saw that his friends were almost done with Jaws, with Masumi, Ran, and Heiji, landing a hand for Saguru and Makoto, while Blade was keeping up, having three blades instead of one and being significantly faster than the other robot.
"I can't believe this…", Kaito said making his teacher and cousin look at him, "I can't believe I was afraid from metal craps!".
"Can't everyone from the news reporters here see you?", Shinichi asked Kaiden as they stood up.
"With the invisibility bracelet I got from Static, no. It's capable of allowing me to choose the radius of the area I want to be seen in, which is the area of this battle only.", Kaiden smiled, "So it'll look on the news as if you were talking to thin air."
Kaito jumped up on his feet before he charged towards Jaws. The robot try to attack him with his claws but he jumped up, placed his hands on the Shark's shoulders, and landed behind him, as his hands froze the robot from head to toe.
"Slice him up!", He cried.
"With pleasure!", Saguru smirked as he swung his axe, cutting the arms and head of Jaws before Makoto walked forward as he flipped his hammer.
"Allow me.", He swung his hammer and slammed it on Jaws's neck, turning the remaining body's into very tiny pieces, with no cores remaining.
Blade cried once he saw Jaws being destroyed before he jumped high away, avoiding Kaito who leaped at him.
"If you think just because you destroyed Jaws, you can beat me, then you're nothing but idiots!", Blade cried angrily.
The Rangers re grouped, standing in their order. Shinichi in the middle, on his right Ran, Masumi, and Saguru. On his left were Heiji, Makoto, and Kaito.
"He's got us mistaken for someone else, calling us a group of idiots, what do you guys say about introducing ourselves?", Kaito said, back in his confident attitude.
"Let's do it then!", Shinichi nodded.
Kaito performed some boxing moves before flipping backwards, then posing as a Magician with hands spread out as he cried, "Cryo Wolf Warrior; The Magnificent Ranger!", He then posed in a Wolf Fighting style, the scene of glacial mountains, snowy lands, and a howling white Wolf appearing behind him in seconds before crying, "Savage White!". A white colored explosion happened behind him.
Saguru performed some boxing moves as he cried, "Dendro Horse Warrior; The Noble Ranger!", He then posed in a Horse Fighting style, the scene of forests and a neighing green Horse appearing behind him in seconds before crying, "Savage Green!". A green colored explosion happened behind him.
Makoto performed some Kata as he cried, "Geo Bison Warrior; The Firm Ranger!", He then posed in a Bison Fighting style, the scene of rocks, mountains, metal, and a growling black bison appearing behind him in seconds, before crying, "Savage Black!". A black colored explosion happened behind him.
Masumi performed some Jeet Kune Do moves as she cried, "Aero Eagle Warrior; The Soaring Ranger!", She then posed in an Eagle Claws Fighting style, the scene of tornadoes, and wind gusts with a soaring pink eagle appearing behind her in seconds, before crying, "Savage Pink!". A pink-colored explosion happened behind her.
Heiji performed some Jujitsu moves as he cried, "Hydro Serpent Warrior; Da Surgin' Ranger!", He then posed in a Serpent Fighting style, the scene of waves and a hissing blue serpent appearing behind him in seconds, before crying, "Savage Blue!". A blue-colored explosion happened behind him.
Ran performed some Karate moves as she cried, "Electro Tiger Warrior; The Ferocious Ranger!", She then posed in a Tiger Claws Fighting style, the scene of lightning and thunder hitting behind her, and a roaring yellow tiger appearing behind her in seconds, before crying, "Savage Yellow!". A yellow-colored explosion happened behind him.
Shinichi performed some boxing moves before ending with a kick as he cried, "Pyro Lion Warrior; The Blazing Ranger!", He then posed in a Lion Fighting style, the scene of burning flames and a roaring red Lion appearing behind him in seconds, before crying, "Savage Red!". A red-colored explosion happened behind him.
"Power of the Neo Elements, Spirit of the Savage Beasts!", The Rangers chorused before they posed all together, "Power Rangers Neo Savages!". A huge explosion happened behind them.
Kaiden smiled proudly as he imagined the former Rangers in the place of the new ones, remembering his previous late students. Before he saw his sons training in the place of them for seconds. He then recalled a few memories he had with the new Rangers before he smiled widely.
"I couldn't be mad at you for that long.", He said, then he looked directly at the robot with a determined serious look.
"Soon, we'll face each other again, Klaus.", He said before he teleported in white light.
"Take this!", Blade cried as he shot laser beams from his eyes and core.
Makoto stood in front of his team as he stomped with his feet on the ground and raised his hands up, a huge rock wall raising in front of all of the team as he cried, "Earth Wall!".
Shinichi then jumped high, performed a kick, sending a fire crescent blast on the ground, creating a smaller fire wall as he cried out, "Fire Cut!".
As Shinichi landed in front of the mountain wall, Masumi jumped high as cried, "Air Bullet!", sending a wind gust punch at the flames.
As soon as the fire and wind collided with each other, Masumi and Shinichi chorused, "Scorch Bullet!".
The wind increased the fire before it all charged like a bullet, placing Blade on fire.
"Let me end this!", Kaito cried as he jumped high just as the wall disappeared. Everyone's eyes widened as Kaito created 9 ice clones from himself, landing with him on the ground before charging towards Blade.
"Cry-o Wolf!", 4 of the clones chorused as they each took turns punching and kicking Blade, before they were broken into icicles.
"-10 Man!", The other 5 cried as they continued attacking the same way before one kicked Blade very high in the air, who no longer had his arms after the attacks, nor his nose.
"Barrage!", Kaito cried as he jumped up, holding his hook swords, and with the sharp parts, impaled them in Blade's core, and pulled it out with his hook swords.
Blade fell lifeless on the ground as Kaito landed gracefully, starting to create an ice sphere around the core, once he freed it from his hook swords.
"Static did say he needed the core to study it.", Kaito said.
"You just made the competition for best techniques really hard, Kuroba.", Saguru complimented as he and the team approached Kaito.
"You have to teach me how to make a clone, I can have so much fun pranking others!", Masumi cried, making Kaito look at her happily.
"You like making pranks?! You're my new best friend!", Kaito cried happily.
"Come on, we better get back to the ship, people are watching.", Shinichi rolled his eyes at his friends' antics.
The Generals remained silent as they watched the dark purple aura surrounding Akuma, that had appeared as soon as he'd seen Kaiden appear on the screen through the two robots' eyes.
"So many years had passed since I'd last seen you Kaiden… Yet, you're still a pain in my ass…", Akuma growled as he gripped the arm of his throne.
"All because you still stuck to those stupid ideals and beliefs, despite it being the main reason, we lost everything…", Akuma growled before he literally stomped as he stood up.
"I don't understand why he or that robot freak or that foolish fighter can defeat me with new Rangers. I killed the Transyl Rangers, and the Edenian ones, and I almost got him just like he almost got me. I burned half of Eden, I made Elementia fall into a civil war with the Fire Kingdom being my greatest ally, conquering the other Kingdoms. And I caused the Transyl civil war and continuing to burn this planet.", Akuma growled as he stared at his hands recalling his achievements.
"We have strong Planets on our side, why can't we invade Earth at once when we return?", Blaze asked the generals.
"Earth has 194 FAUSD bases, next to each 194 country having its own army, add that to having the Power Rangers, Earth has a 65% chance of winning.", Genesis explained.
"But if we make the planet run into chaos or hack into all FAUSD, or do the divide and conquer method, we'll definitely win!", Kaguya smirked.
"But that will be hard with the Rangers, and their mentors existing, especially if they team up with FAUSD.", Reaper growled.
"That's why we need a tough group to help us work into the shadows and reach the higher ups. It starts with Japan, then Asia, then the whole Planet. But first, we need to kill the Rangers and their mentors.", Kisame explained.
"No.", Akuma said making his generals look at him confused.
"I want to break the Rangers then you do as you please…. But Kaiden Orionson… is mine….".
The Ship,
"Every time anyone finds out about my phobias, I'm always ridiculed, that's why I never said anything, especially since I'm not used to working with a team, I've spent most of my time being a lone wolf, literally, sorry guys.", Kaito apologized to his team as he handed the sphere to Static.
"At least you know now that you can trust us with anything.", Makoto said before he and the other Rangers looked at Kaiden.
"We're sorry we rushed into battle, I hate to admit it, But I think we all felt from our powers and wining every time, that we are unstoppable.", Makoto said.
"And we ended up seeing and feeling our worst nightmares, I still personally dream of it sometimes.", Masumi added.
"Yeah, we should've been careful, we aren' kids after all.", Heiji said.
"We didn't mean to make you mad.", Ran said.
"And we've learned our lesson the hard way.", Saguru said.
"And I'd like to say that… just like you see us as your children, we see you like a father too…", Kaito said slightly emotional.
"So will you forgive us, Sensei?", Shinichi asked.
Kaiden looked at the face of every Ranger, seeing the genuine apology expression on their faces before smiling warmly at the Rangers.
"I can't be mad at you for that long anyways, you're guys forgiven.", He chuckled.
"What an emotional moment!". Everyone but Kaiden cried in surprise once they heard a female voice, Static even almost causing the sphere to fall on the ground, but they caught it in the last moment.
They turned around to find Nina, in her uniform, helmet-less, standing next to the ship's doors.
"How-When… WHAT THE HELL ARE YOU?!", Static cried in fear snd surprise. How could she easily find the ship and also walk in without anyone else feeling her or sensing her.
"That's a secret… a secret is what makes a woman, woman.", Nina smirked confidently.
"Yeah… that includes lying to your godchildren and ending up being a criminal…", Kaito nearly spat, Shinichi sharing his angry look while Ran just looked sad.
"Gomen ne, You know she practically raised me after Mom died.", Nina shrugged nonchalantly, ignoring the looks and the face expression of the three.
"Vermouth was close to you?", Masumi asked.
"Our godmother.", Shinichi simply said.
"She was my idol. And was the mother figure I had when Okaasan was busy.", Ran said sadly.
"So I suppose we are safe to stay on Earth legally?", Kaiden said, receiving a nod from Nina, and that's when everyone noticed, he was the only one who wasn't surprised.
"YA KNEW SHE WAS HERE AN DIDN' TELL US!", Heiji cried furiously, pointing at Kaiden.
"You guys seriously need to work on your sixth sense.", Kaiden slightly smirked teasingly.
"By the way, Akira,", Nina started making the latter look at her curiously, "FAUSD, in order to make sure everything is fine, has decided to place an agent to watch over each of you three. Guess who decided to watch over you?".
"W-Who?", Akira asked nervously. The last thing he needed was Ryu or someone else who shares his beliefs or-
"Hondou Hidemi of course!", Nina said happily.
Akira's face turned tomato red before a wide smile slowly grew on his face as he asked Nina, "Are you serious?!".
"Why would I joke in this? Besides, Chief Kuroba has decided to assign an agent to watch over every single Ranger, too.", Nina said making the teens look at her with a frown.
"We are not kids Nina we-", Kaito was about to protest before Nina smiled at him sweetly.
"What was that, Kai-chan?", She asked, making the teens shiver in fear at her attitude.
"Look at the bright side, this could be a chance for you to learn from experienced FAUSD agents.", Kaiden pointed out, making the Rangers actually think about his words for a second.
"Alright, so who are the agents that will be responsible for us?", Saguru sighed.
"They're waiting outside, follow me!", Nina said as she left the control, the teens and mentors following her behind.
The Jungle,
As soon as everyone landed on the ground and saw the agents, and found out who will be responsible, they had different reactions.
"Yo! Kaiden, guess grumpy Kuroda decided that he should watch over you.", Dan greeted before he yawned, "While I'll deal with my godsons.".
"It's an honor to actually work with him again, Dan.", Kaiden smiled.
Shinichi and Kaito sighed simultaneously.
"Thank God, we won't have any weird guy to deal with.", Kaito said.
"You just don't like dealing with law enforcement.", Shinichi pointed out.
"I'm a Phantom Thief, remember?".
"Talking Metal, you're with me.", Ryu grumbled.
"Good, because we've been wanting to talk to you privately.", Static growled as he cracked his knuckles and neck, having a glaring contest with Ryu.
"Hello, son.", Kyogoku Masaki smirked warmly at Makoto.
"K-Kaasan! You're a FAUSD agent?!", He cried in disbelief and confusion.
"Did you honestly think my work as a dojo instructor is what made you and Hina live comfortably?", Masaki snorted, "FAUSD approached Hideo and I a week before he died, and I responded a month later.".
"You've gotta be shitting me… There is no way I'm gonna be under his watch!", Masumi cried as soon as she saw Rei smirking at her.
He shook his finger at her like a child, "Ah, ah, ah! You should talk with respect to me from now own, Pink Ranger.", He teased, making Masumi fume. The interaction making the boys have question marks over their head, Ran snickered, Dan smirked slightly, and Nina did her best not to tease Rei right here.
Heiji raised an eyebrow at the man standing across him, he tall, lean, and muscular man with a fair complexion and short-cropped, jet-black hair that is slicked back, as well as a short beard, mustache, and sideburns that point upwards in a "V" shape, with yellow eyes. He had on his back a curved, single-edged black blade in the shape of a latin cross, with a golden crossguard decorated by red cabochons, and a hilt wrapped in bandages, with a particularly big cabochon at its extremity.
"My name is Dracule Van Helsing, Chief Kuroda assigned me as he believes you have potential to be great swordsman as me.", The man said making Heiji look at him seriously.
"Pleasure to meet you, Hakuba-kun, Morofushi Takaaki.", Takaaki introduced himself to Saguru.
Saguru shook his hands with Takaaki with a smile as he said, "I've heard a lot about you, especially from my friends. Pleased to meet you.".
Nina placed her arm around Ran as she said, "And I'll be dealing with you, imouto!".
Ran smiled widely, "We can finally catch up!".
"Hi….", Akira said shyly and nervously to Hidemi, who was slightly blushing and having the same facial expression.
"Hey…", was all what she could say.
Everyone then teleported, the Rangers in their respective lights while the others in white light. They appeared in the middle of the FAUSD reception.
The Rangers' jaw dropped at seeing the aliens walking around them, the advanced technology being used and held around, and of course, the futuristic look the base had.
Chief Kuroda Hyuoe was waiting for them at the reception, he smiled confidently at the Rangers and mentors.
"Kaiden Orionson, Prince Akira, Neo Static 2.0, and the Power Rangers; Welcome to Japan's FAUSD Base.".
This is the last short chapter, 99% of the chapters will be long after that. Most of my exams are done, and I only have two exams left, but I'm a bit free nowadays.
22/6/2024: New Notice!!!
I'm putting the story on temporary hiatus until 26/7 or 9/8, according to how my summer course and traveling plans go.
I'll write the drafts for this fanfic, and another possible long DCMK fanfic, and some DC One Shots.
I'll take this break in order to find a proper schedule for this fanfic and any other possible work, with my summer course, work, hobbies, and other personal stuff.
I'll also need to plan the main ideas for this fanfic in terms of what happens to characters, and the ideas of any other fic.
