"Yep. Preggers" Owen said shaking his head as he looked at the two men, their little horror in the other room laughing along with Toshiko about something. Owen could hear his own child giggling and knew they were having fun.

"Wow" Jack said softly.

"Whitemanchu is gonna get a new toy" Owen smiled, then sat back to look at them again "Are you OK with this?"

"Well, it is a bit of a shock but… yeah. I think so" Jak said softly, Owen turning his head to Ianto who had been quiet.

"Yes, I know this is such a shift from old retired dogs to this but… Gabriel has made me feel young again, that is for sure." Ianto nodded, his face still unreadable "Let's just hope that whatever punishment the Gods wanted to rain down on us… he is it."

Finally, Ianto smiled and Jack relaxed knowing this was his fault for not checking his cycle properly. Deep down… did he check it at all? Or leave it to the Gods? Was it selfish to want another?

Jack felt young again too.

Gabriel was eating, his hands shovelling the food in like a conveyor belt as he eyed the plate of chops he wanted more of. As Ianto leaner over to push the plate closer their son asked "What is Preggers?"

Jack froze, his mind whirring as Ianto answered calmly "It means Daddy is going to make you a little brother or sister to play with."

Gabriel stooped shovelling food, a chop in one hand and a bun in the other as he stared at Jack then asked "Boy?"

"Or girl. We don't get to choose when we ask the Gods. We have to accept what they choose to give us." Ianto took a mouthful of mashed potato and pulled a face at Jack to say he was not sure what to say next.

"If it's a girl, you can be the only boy" Jack said softly "If it's a boy you will be the first bestest boy. Either way, you are a big brother and the one who can choose the games."

Litle eyes slid between the two of them, then with a shrug the boy went back to chewing on his chop.

They both relaxed as it was accepted.

"What?" Alice asked in a higher octave than usual as Rhianon rose from her chair with delight on her face.

"Another one? Oh wow… me too" she said.

"Excuse me?" both men said at once, the only one not surprised was her step-sister who shrugged as she clearly knew already.

"Oh my god. The Blumanchu fella" Jack blurted then slapped a hand over his mouth.

"What he is trying to say is… that's great news love. Wow, they will be like twins. So exciting" Ianto said giving his mate a weird look as Jack began to get annoyed now. This was HIS news and HIS baby and HIS day. Why did she have to blurt that out and take back the shiny for herself.

Rhiannon looked annoyed but then sighed "It's OK Taddy, you did say he had no filter. Clearly where she gets it from."

"OI!" Alie laughed then said in a softer voice "But Daddy… that is exciting."

Jack shrugged like it didn't mater and Rhianon saw to late that she had taken his thunder. She loked at her Tad who waved a hand to tell her he would smooth it over and they left with news to spread around.

Ianto knew he was smarting over the thunder snatch and followed him to the bedroom where he was putting away clothes from the washing. Yeah, in all the wrong places because that was not one of his chores but clearly he was pissed so Ianto calmly retrieved each item and transferred them while Jack stomped about in silence.

"You know…" Ianto said after a moment or two of trying to find a way to fix the moment "I was sure you were going to say you had a new away team to train or something when you first told me. All ready to pretend to be happy as you left me for a month alone with the monster. Then you drop that bombshell and I swear… my heart filled my chest like…. Well. First time I saw Gabriel really. It took me back there, to that moment. The love. The joy. And to know I am ging to feel it again, another new life that is ours. A part of us…. I am a bit glad she broke the moment with her own news. Even though I knew it was real all over again. I really was struck for words. Mafic in the words… saying it out loud. Announcing is like… making it nonrefundable ya know? She might have stolen your thunder Cariad… but as always you were the lightening strike that struck me dumb. I swear to you… I could not articulate my excitement. I have never bene so struck dumb with delight. My own daughter announces as well and I really didn't have any words for her… so… not important compared to you. I struggled not to ignore it. How awful."

"Really?" Jack turned to face him, a pair of his socks about to go into Ianto's underwear drawer.

"I felt… off world. When the gravity fails and we are floating… my stomach was… I mean… and you loked so fine sitting there, so handsome and so virile like I could fuck you sideways… I just… yeah. See? I still can't."

Jack turned to face him fully now, the socks now shoved into the tie drawer instead. Yeah, Ianto did not have all his ties hanging, they did have their own drawer too. So? It was now a rat's nest a Jack swirled the socks around behind him "So… a good surprise?"

"Jack. You are the best surprise the Gods ever gave me and second… our children. My god… seriously? Oh god… we will have to build on again?" Ianto croaked theatrically like he had just thought of it "Oh wow. We are going to get a reputation mister!"

Jack started to grin "Yeah?"

"Wow. I wonder how long before they ask us to be sperm donors since clearly we are both so damned virile we can shot up a man!" Ianto leered now "Like… pow pow."

As Ianto thrust his hips Jack's eyes narrowed and he started to move towards him "So… wanna shot some more? For luck?"

"I don't know, can we risk triplets or something?" Ianto asked.

Giggling now as Ianto kissed him, glad he had defused that.

Poor Rhiannon. Still had the inability to read a room like her father. Blurt it out and then… hang on. Ianto had never noticed that he clearly had a type. Archie and Jack so similar in brain farts. Strong handsome and no filter.

Ianto tried not to laugh, turning it into a seductive chuckle so Jack did not know that Archie had just popped into his mind while they were undressing.
