The Gardevoir Who Lived

Beginning AN: here it is the next chapter. the movies will be filler arcs for the regions they take place in so with that in mind here's a unique take on Mewtwo Strikes Back the main story of Pokemon The First Movie. after this chapter the Indigo League Tournament begins. now on with the story.
Chapter 12: Mewtwo Strikes Back Finale
The storm rolling in was causing the waves to be too violent to reach New Island for most, though Hela, Titania and Dawn avoided that by using Artemis who as a Pidgeot could fly through the storm.
There they met the woman from the invitation, though they did feel something strange from her, they could not tell more due to the powerful psychic energy in the air.
They went to visit with the other trainers that made it through the storm, Fergus, with his Gyarados, Seadra, Nidoqueen, Tentacruel, Vaporeon, and a Charizard he had saved after an abusive trainer named Damian abandoned it in a storm. Although Fergus was a bit of a jerk saying that pokemon can't be trainers. Corey, and his Pidgeot, Scyther, Hitmonlee, Bruteroot the Venusaur, Sandslash and Rhyhorn, and Neesha and her Dewgong, Wigglytuff, Shellshocker the Blastoise, Vileplume, Ninetales, and Rapidash. She was also the friendliest.
Wanting their pokemon to have some fun as well Hela sent out Artemis, Chang'e, Eevee, and Dragonite since Athena and Titania were already out. Titania released her Golduck, Alakazam, Hypno, Slowking, and Kangaskhan with Hela already released, Dawn sent out Jynx, Lapras, Magmortar, Hitmonlee, and Vulpix and Piplup, who like Athena did not want to evolve.
"You are about to meet my master. The time has come for your encounter with the greatest Pokémon master on Earth." The woman says as a beam of light shines, and from that beam of light, a figure descends.
"What's that?" Hela said.
"It feels like it is the source of the psychic power." Titania said.
"Is that a pokemon?" Neesha asked curious.
"Yes. The world's greatest Pokémon master is also the most powerful Pokémon on Earth. This is the ruler of New Island and, soon, the whole world. Mewtwo." The woman said.
"Mewtwo?" Hela asked.
"Does that mean that pokemon is related to Mew?" Dawn asked.
"A Pokémon can't be a Pokémon master! No way!" Fergus yelled.
"Quiet, human. From now on, I am the one that makes the rules." Mewtwo said through telepathy, which Hela, Titania and Dawn all recognize.
Mewtwo proceeds to lift Fergus up via Psychic, chuckle, and toss him into the pool where his Pokémon are.
"We'll show you! Let's go, Gyarados!" Fergus said as Gyarados and Fergus exit the water. "Gyarados, Hyper Beam attack!"
Gyarados charges up and fires, but Mewtwo easily blocks and reflects it back at Gyarados, prompting Fergus to check on it
"Gyarados!" Fergus cried.
"Child's play." Mewtwo said before turning to his servant. "Your usefulness has ended."
Mewtwo releases the woman from his control, who proceeds to faint, though Titania catches her, and it's revealed that she is none other than the missing Nurse Joy from the Pokémon Center who then awakens.
"Where am I? And how in the world did I get here?" Nurse Joy asked looking around.
"You have been under my control." Mewtwo informed her. "I transported you here from the Pokémon Center. Your knowledge of Pokémon physiology proved useful for my plan. And now I have cleansed your tiny human brain of memories from the past few weeks."
"Who are you?!" Corey asked.
"I am the new ruler of this world. The master of humans and Pokémon alike." Mewtwo said.
"You're no master of MINE!" Titania said.
"You're just a bully!" Hela added. "You are trying to force yourself on everyone else."
"Humans are despicable, and pokemon like you that accept them are just as bad." Mewtwo said. "I brought you here to try to convince you to join me, but I see now that is impossible."
"If you are a Pokémon, there's no reason I can't capture you! Go, Rhyhorn!" Corey said as Rhyhorn charges in for a Takedown, but Mewtwo effortlessly stops it, to Corey's shock, and sends Rhyhorn sliding across the area. "No! Rhyhorn!"
"Fools." Mewtwo said. "Your Pokémon attacks cannot weaken me. My powers are too great. No trainer can conquer me."
"Then you won't mind proving it in a real match!" Hela said.
"Is that a challenge?" Mewtwo asked.
"You bet it is!" Hela said believing Titania could win, as Mewtwo then uses his powers to awaken Venusaurtwo, Charizardtwo, and Blastoisetwo, the clones he made of the three starters, and had them rise from out of the floor.
"Like most Pokémon trainers, I, too, began with Charmander, Squirtle, and Bulbasaur. But for their evolved forms, I used their genetic material to clone even more powerful copies." Mewtwo said.
"They're clones!" Corey said as a strange sound is heard and everyone's attention is drawn to it as the window behind the staircase reveals a stadium, all set and ready for the battle.
"A stadium! Mewtwo planned this all along!" Hela realized.
"If he has three Pokémon, then its fair for three trainers to take him on one at a time." Fergus said with Charizard grinning flames already coming since he loved a good battle, but Gyarados had the type advantage and was even stronger then him.
"Your fake Venusaur can't beat my real one! Right, Bruteroot?" Fergus asked as Bruteroot roars in agreement.
"We'll blow away that clone Blastoise, won't we, Shellshocker?" Neesha said as Shellshocker nods in agreement.
"We don't have a starter to fight, but we can cheer you on." Hela said with Titania nodding in agreement with Dawn.
"Which of you will oppose me first?" Mewtwo asked.
Bruteroot stepped up first still upset about what happened to Corey earlier.
"I underestimated you last time, but that won't happen again!" Corey said as Mewtwo motions for Venusaurtwo to take the field. "Go, Bruteroot! Razor Leaf!"
"Vine Whip." Mewtwo said as Bruteroot throws out its leaves only for Venusaurtwo to rapidly takes out all of Bruteroot's attack with it's vines, and then lift up and throws Bruteroot all the way across the battlefield.
"Bruteroot!" Corey said as he rushed to check on his Pokémon finding Bruteroot knocked out.
"It looks like I'm up! Go, Shellshocker." Neesha said with Shellshocker stepping up to the plate while Mewtwo motions for Blastoisetwo to enter the battlefield. "Shellshocker, Hydro Pump!"
Shellshocker fires, but Blastoisetwo uses Rapid Spin to block the attack, and then uses its momentum to knock Shellshocker into a wall.
"Shellshocker!" Neesha said as she goes to check on her fallen partner.
"My turn." Fergus said as Charizard takes the field.
Mewtwo motions for Charizardtwo to take the field as Charizard takes flight and launches a Flamethrower, but Charizardtwo dodges. The two launch Flamethrower after Flamethrower and even a couple of punches, headbutts, and tail swipes while in the sky, but Charizardtwo proves to be more powerful. The two fly higher and higher until they're over the eye of the hurricane, until Charizardtwo grabs Charizard from behind and starts bringing it down fast.
"Charizard's in trouble!" Hela noted.
"Finish it." Mewtwo said as Charizardtwo bring Charizard down onto solid ground the hard way, and though it tries to keep going, it falls to the ground, defeated as Fergus goes to check on it.
"Charizard, no! Are you okay?" Fergus asked.
"As the victor, I now claim my prize! Your Pokémon!" Mewtwo said making three strange Pokéballs appear and sends them toward the defeated Pokémon.
"He said WHAT?!" Fergus said as one of those Pokéballs captures Charizard. Shellshocker, and Bruteroot.
"What are you gonna do with those Pokémon?!" Dawn asked in fear.
"What were those things?!" Neesha asked.
"They are called Clone Balls. I will extract their DNA to make clones for myself." Mewtwo said as he makes more Clone Balls appear. "They will remain safe on this island with me, while my storm destroys the planet."
"You can't do this!" Titania said.
"Yeah, Mewtwo! We won't let you!" Hela said.
"Do not attempt to defy me." Mewtwo said as he used his powers to send Hela flying into Titania and knocks them both back. "You are powerful for psychic types, but I am far stronger. This is MY world, now. Your clones will serve me well."
With that he sends the Clone Balls after the Pokémon that are still out of their Pokéballs including Hela and Titania who teleport away, but can't get to far because of Mewtwo blocking them. At this everyone runs for it, but the Clone Balls quickly catch up and capture Gyarados.
"Gyarados!" Fergus yelled as two more Clone Balls capture Golduck and Seadra, while another captures Corey's Sandslash.
"Get away!" Corey yelled as Corey, Scyther, and Hitmonlee fight off as many Clone Balls as they can, but ultimately Hitmonlee is captured, along with Scyther. Then, Neesha's Dewgong is captured, followed by her Rapidash and Vileplume. Chang'e and Eevee keep fighting off as many as they could, while Athena runs for it, but the next Pokémon to be caught is Wigglytuff, followed by Pidgeot and Artemis. While Chang'e is overwhelmed by the sheer number of clone balls with Eevee next. Soon, the captured Pokémon are sent down into some tunnels.
"It is futile to try and escape my power." Mewtwo said.
Meanwhile, Athen runs for the spiral staircase, dodging the Clone Balls as they pursue him, and Hela and Titania use their power to avoid more clone balls.
"Hela watch out!" Dawn yelled as she pushed her out of the way of a clone ball, causing Titania to panic and shrink Hela, and Dawn who was helping her up.
"Sorry about this you two." Titania whisper telepathed to them as she stuck them both in her cleavage. "I'll keep you both safe."
Titania then creates a sphere of psychic energy that blocks the balls, only for Mewtwo to scoff and use his power to break it, allowing Titania, and both Hela, and Dawn in her cleavage to be captured by the Clone Balls.
Inside Titania, Dawn, and Hela were trapped in a void as Titania let them out of her Cleavage.
"So this is the inside of a pokeball." Dawn said looking around as Hela shivered.
"They are normally nicer then this." Titania said looking at the void.
"It reminds me of the control balls from Celadon." Hela shivered, as Dawn and Titania hugged her for comfort. "But how did Dawn get caught? She is human."
"Same reason we are in the same clone ball." Titania said. "Because I was holding your shrunk forms in my cleavage you counted as my held item, or items, and was caught with me. The clone balls could not sense you as either human or pokemon.
Suddenly all three of them felt a pinch as the clone ball took some of their DNA.
"Ow, what was that?" Dawn said.
"I think it was taking some of our DNA, but because we are all in here it took DNA from all of us." Titania said. "These are clone balls after all."
Suddenly they were bounced around the Clone Ball, and against each other.
"What's going on?" Hela asked not knowing that outside the machine Athena having been captured as well was using her electricity to overpower the machine and had escaped and was now freeing the other pokemon.
They did however figure it out later since the three of them were in the first clone ball Athena released.
"I'm so glad you're okay." Hela said as Titania grew her and Dawn back.
"Look!" Titania said as the machine they were in still functional started releasing the Pokémon clones.
"Oh my." Dawn said blushing, "Look there."
The there in question was the final cloning machine which instead of a clone had an egg, and looking at the readout said why.
Multiple sources for clone DNA from same source.
Changing to create a child from sources.
And below that it had three outlines, one of Hela, one of Titania, and one of Dawn.
"That is our egg." Hela said blushing as much as Dawn, and Titania.
Titania just nodded in shock.
Suddenly the damage Athena did to the machine reaches critical and caused it explodes, releasing the rest of the Clone Balls and the Pokémon within, with Dawn catching the egg, which as an egg was not released with the clones.
"You're all okay!" Hela said.
"Well, now that the cavalry is here, let's take the fight to Mewtwo. He's got an army of clones, but we've got the originals to back us up." Titania said.
"Will he even listen?" Dawn asked putting the egg in her bag since she was the only one with a bag on them.
Meanwhile back in the stadium.
"Humans, you have served my purpose. I am sparing your lives, for the moment." Mewtwo said ignoring Dawn missing not being interested in her. as he opens the doors in the corners of the stadium, revealing the outside of the island and the distance of the storm. "But you cannot escape your fate. The hour of my vengeance draws near."
Soon, an explosion draws Mewtwo's attention, and Mewtwo's clone army is revealed.
"Behold!" Mewtwo said.
"Those must be the clones of the Pokemon that were captured by Mewtwo!" Neesha said.
"It's harder to tell the other clones from the originals, but the Venusaur, Charizard, and Blastoise clones are easier to point out." Corey added.
"What are we going to do?" Fergus asked.
"There's nothing you can do. With Pokémon and humans eliminated, the clones shall inherit the world." Mewtwo said only to be interrupted by familiar figures coming out of the smoke.
"You can't do this! We won't let you!" Hela said
"We won't go down that easily." Titania added.
"They're back!" Neesha cheered.
"And we're not alone!" Dawn said as all of the Pokémon show up behind the three. and stand across from their clones.
"It is useless to challenge me!" Mewtwo said.
"It's not gonna end like this Mewtwo! We won't let it!" Hela said as she and Titania launched psychic attacks while Dawn ran forward to punch him.
Mewtwo blocks the psychic attacks and then lifted Dawn via Psychic and throwing her up to the top of the palace, but before she could make an impact, a pink bubble appears and saves her life, to Mewtwo's surprise.
"What?" Mewtwo asked in shock.
"Where did that pink bubble come from?" Dawn asked as Mew appears in front of Dawn and popped the bubble.
"It can't be! That's... THAT'S MEW!" Neesha said in shock.
"Mew? You mean THE Mew?!" Fergus asked.
"The same Mew that Mewtwo was created from?!" Corey asked.
"Can it be?" Mewtwo asked.
Mew creates another pink bubble and bounces on it, only for a Shadow Ball to destroy it and send Mew flying. Mewtwo charges up another Shadow Ball and throws it, but Mew dodges it with teleportation. Mewtwo sends another Shadow Ball after another, but Mew dodges all of them.
"Mew. So, finally we meet." Mewtwo said. "I may have been cloned from your DNA, but now I will prove that Mewtwo is better than the original. Superior to Mew."
"Mew AND Mewtwo." Corey said.
"So Mewtwo was cloned from Mew. Like we thought." Neesha said as Mewtwo starts floating off the ground.
"This world is too small for two of us." Mewtwo said as he then pursues Mew as Mew dodges Mewtwo's Shadow Ball attacks. "Why do you flee from me? Are you afraid to find out which of us is greater?"
"The chase continues, and Mew is hit by one of Mewtwo's Shadow Balls, sending it flying, to the surprise of the humans and Pokémon, but Mew launches an attack of its own that sends Mewtwo flying.
"I guess Mew may be docile and cute, but it can sure pack a punch!" Titania said as Mewtwo emerges.
"So, you DO have some fight in you! But I have no time for games. Destiny is at hand. Who will rule? My super Pokémon, or your pathetic group of spineless, inferior Pokémon?" Mewtwo asked pissing off the original pokemon. "We were created with powers far stronger than the originals."
(Mew starts arguing about Mewtwo's view between his clones and the originals, which Team Rocket hears)
"You don't prove anything by showing off a lot of special powers, and that a Pokémon's real strength comes from the heart." Mew said
"My clones don't need their powers to prove their worth!" Mewtwo said as he launches another Shadow Ball, but Mew dodges in time, but the attack hits Dawn instead only for Hela to perform a double teleport to save her.
"Thanks for the save." Dawn sighed after making sure the egg was also okay.
"Your welcome." Hela replied as the impact of the Shadow Ball causes debris from the site of impact to land near and around the entrance they used.
Mewtwo scoffed at seeing the rescue before smirking "I will block all the Pokémon's special abilities using my psychic powers. NOW we shall see who triumphs. GO!"
The clones charge, but the originals charge as well.
After the fight had been going on for a few minutes they looked away from Mewtwo and saw the all out brawl between the clone army and the originals they were created from, horrified and speechless as both sides throw punches and headbutts and kicks left and right, with some of them even resorting to biting. Athena even came across her own clone, Pikachutwo, though she refused to fight back.
"Pokémon aren't meant to fight, at least not like this. It's useless! What can come out of it?" Nurse Joy said in fear.
"Nothing, but pain." Neesha said.
"Even our pokemon are trying to stop the clones." Titania said as she saw the groups pokemon in the brawl.
"Without their special abilities, each blow is meant and possibly deadly." Titania said looking around.
"Why can't Mewtwo understand it's not right to force Pokémon to battle this way?" Hela said.
"They're all living creatures. This just proves that fighting is wrong." Dawn said.
"Mewtwo is probably bitter about the fact that it was created instead of born." Titania said.
"Pokémon are supposed to prefer cooperation instead of confrontation." Hela said as Vulpix and its clone, Vulpixtwo, drop in exhaustion.
Hela and Titania seeing all the ensuing chaos, decides that enough is enough.
"Quit it! Please, stop!" They say. "We gotta stop this!"
"But how? All Mewtwo cares about is proving how strong those super clones are!" Dawn asked as they looked up at Mew and Mewtwo's battle. "And neither side will listen to reason!"
"I'd rather risk my life out in Mewtwo's storm then watch these Pokémon destroy each other." Nurse Joy said.
"Me, too." Dawn agreed.
"I wish there was some way to stop them." Nurse Joy said in despair "But neither side will listen! I don't know what to do! I don't think they'll ever stop! Those Pokémon look like they're ready to fight to the death!"
"Someone's gotta take a stand! Someone's gotta say no, and refuse to fight. Just like, Athena." Hela said as everyone looks at Pikachutwo tiring and crying from exhaustion. Soon, both Mew and Mewtwo come down for a possible final clash, and the ensuing electricity from the two Pokémon's psychic auras cause the lights in the stadium to go out. As Mew and Mewtwo charge up for one final blast, Hela and Titania looks around at the injured Pokémon and the clones, both brutally battered, and decides to end it once and for all and teleport out to the battlefield.
"Hela! Titania!" Dawn cried.
Both attacks collide with Hela and Titania in the middle, as they block with a psychic shield each gaining everyone's attention, human and Pokémon alike. The attacks are too strong however and start to break the shields. Just before they do however Dawn pushes them both out of the way along with shoving her bag with the egg to Hela and the attacks collide with an unprotected Dawn in the middle.
Dawn falls to the ground as her body turns to stone.
"Please, no." Hela cried.
"She can't be..." Titania cried as all the Pokémon in the arena start mourning Dawn's sacrifice The magic of the Pokémon's tears flowing into Dawn's petrified body causing it to glow.
"Vul?"("Dawn?") Vulpix asked as magic from Vulpix's tears to finish it, the hurricane clears away and Dawn's body still having trace energy from the clone ball that resonated with the tears to turn Dawn into a Gardevoir that had the coloration of Dawn's hair which is dark blue and her dress was pink instead of white and like Hela and Titania Dawn's breasts grew to DD-Cup sized especially since she went from nearly being a teenage human to being an adult female Pokemon.
"Your okay." Dawn smiled not yet knowing she was a Gardevoir.
"It's.. It's a miracle!" Titania said.
"She's alive. She's alive!" Hela cheered.
"Vul! ("Dawn!") Vulpix said lunging into a hug.
"They say a Pokémon's tears are filled with life, so the combined life energy must have brought Dawn back!" Neesha said. "But why did it bring her back as a Gardevoir?"
"What?" Dawn said in shock before looking at her new body. "Oh my."
"The human sacrificed herself, to save the Pokémon, especially the two that are also trainers. I pitted them against each other, but not until they set aside their differences did I see the true power they all share deep inside." Mewtwo said as Mew nodded in agreement. "I see now that the circumstances of one's birth are irrelevant. It is what you do with the gift of life that determines who you are."
"Right." Mew said. "But I think we should stay with them. Not only do we owe them, but we can learn a lot about humans from them."
"True." Mewtwo said as they floated down and asked to join.
Hela, Titania and Dawn accept the request with Mew going to Hela while Mewtwo went to Dawn since she was the only human around brave enough to do anything to stop the fighting even if it did cost her, her humanity.
Hela, Titania and Dawn return to town and meet up with Jessie, James and Meowth who tell them what they missed with Giovanni getting convicted of all his crimes and being sent to a maximum security prison for life with none of the guards being corruptible and his fellow prisoners being former Pokemon Trainers who lost everything because of him in one way or another.
Hela, Titania and Dawn make their way to Pallet Town but not before Dawn allows herself to be captured by Titania to prevent any possibility of Dawn falling into the hands of an abusive trainer.
Ending AN: that's the chapter. even if quite a bit of it was reciting the script of Mewtwo Strikes Back it ended differently than it did in canon.
Next Time: Hela, Titania and Dawn tell Deliah and Professor Oak what happened and Dawn gets her Trainer credentials updated to match her new appearance and then they arrive at the Indigo League Tournament where Hela and Titania participate since Titania is part of Hela's team. and lastly Hela and Titania win the qualifying rounds.
