Sorry for the delay, depression and new jobs make life hard. I am not deleting this, I am really working on that.

This chapter was inspire by Tokijin from Inuyasha.

Aaron could not help but flush as he saw Charles Beckdenforf in the very loud forge. The boy, the head son of Hephaestus, was tall and broad and coal colored. His aura was powerful, even by Demigod standards, equal to if not greater than Luke's own incredible presence. He was smiling at Aaron, warm as the summer sun.

"Hi there!" The boy said with excitement. "Chiron said you'd be by this way, said you'd be looking for an enchanted weapon."

"That would be true." Aaron muttered, before smiling back. "I am thinking a staff, the grimoire my patronness gave me defines staves as a better option for combat magic. My body will never be that strong, I have no divine blood, so adding a tool to bolster my magic would be best."

Charlie turned to Luke, who clearly saw Aaron's flushed face if his smirk meant anything. "I'll take him from here, Luke."

"Sure thing, Beckendorf." Luke waved at them both, then turned to Aaron. "I'll be seeing you later, kid. Behave yourself and stay out of trouble." Then he was off, leaving Aaron to face Charlie.

"Can I call you Charlie? Or do you prefer Beckendorf?"

The other boy smirked lightly. "Either for you, honestly. No one really calls me Charlie, but if you do it, I wouldn't mind. Now, come on. I think I know what kind of staff to make you. Cypress would be the best option, it is a sacred wood. It's also durable and potent, it would be a great channeler for your magic." He led Aaron into the Forges proper, where he saw half a dozen kids working on various projects including a satyr working on a statue of Pan and a girl working on a hippocampus metal statue, both of which he complimented.

"Thank you, really do you think it's good?" The girl said, she was stunning with black hair and blue eyes, though the longer he looked at her, the more he saw her eye color changing ever so slightly. "I'm Silena Beauragard! I love horses, all forms of them. Pegasi are my favorites, but I adore Hippocampi as well." Her bubbliness made him giggle a little.

"It's almost life like!"

She put her tools down and hugged him. "You're so sweet, Aaron right?" He nodded. "I love magic, maybe you can help me with it?"

"I can certainly try. If you agree to help me learn to ride a horse, I've never had the chance before."

Her eyes went wide. "Oh, I would love to help with that. Oh and combat, I am actually a very good fighter."

Charlie nodded, his eyes warm and heated looking at the girl. "Silena is one of our best fighters. Don't let her good looks fool you, Daughter of Aphrodite or not, she is a beast."

She winked at Charlie. "Oh, you're so sweet. Oh, hun, what are you helping him on? Maybe I can help?"

"That would be great, actually." Charlie started. "Aaron needs a staff, helps with battle magic. You're one of the best carvers, with an amazing attention to detail."

Her giggles warmed Aaron's heart. "I'd love to help, let's go."

And soon they were all in the back, working over what became a staff in a matter of moments. Charlie carved it out of a solid trunk in literal minutes. Silena and Aaron carved out the runes and sigils, painting it with blood and oils. The staff ended up slowly taking shape, like that of a large closed dark brown tulip. It with five and a half feet long and very comfortable in his hands.

Soon, pleased and near tears, Aaron kneeled with it in his hands. Closing his eyes, he focused on the essence of magic he felt around him.

"Magic or my Patron... hear this, my plea. I beseech your aid, let the majesty of magic enter this staff, turning it into a true weapon of magic. One I can use to honor magic, myself and my patron."

There was no pause, only the sweet sigh of Hera's voice drifting through his thoughts before the staff burst into a bright cream colored light, sinking into the sigils and then to the blades as a whole. The light burned a bright plum suddenly before fading into nothing, leaving only a pleasant buzz letting him know it was enchanted.

Before he could even thank Hera, she whispered into his heart.

'The gods will know of my blessing on your life now, prepare for my openly claiming you. Know that you have brought me nothing but pride.'

As her voice faded, Aaron stood and saw his new allies smiling at him with awe in their eyes. "That was amazing... I really cannot wait to see who claims you." Silena said.

Charlie nodded. "Same, really..."

"You won't believe it, none of you will."

And then a horn sounded. Charlie and Silena both chuckled. "Time for dinner, come on."

Carrying his newly enchanted staff, Aaron followed them toward the Dinning hall, eager and excited to find his place in this new world he was apart of.
