What I think actually happened to make the story of Shadow the Hedgehog more compatible with epilogue?

Exactly as the title says. Learning from my other attempt at writing this kind of story, I'll be cutting out stories if there is very little change. Exceptions being milestone issues though.

She eventually finds comfort in a friend named Keno the Firewolf who tries to help her move on from Sonic. Soon, the two of them find themselves becoming more than just friends.
