Here we are at Chapter 13. It's time for more hijinks. It's time for more awkwardness. It's RWBY KEPL Chibi! I do not own RWBY. They belong to roosterteeth. I only own my OCs. Here's chapter 13. Enjoy.

Chapter 13: Thunder and Family Drama

Skit 1: Shocking

Down in Professor Goodwitch's combat training class, the members of Teams RWBY, KEPL, and JNPR are all lined up as Goodwitch prepares their favorite activity (well, favorite activity for some): sparring practice.

"Alright, today, we'll be having a set of sparring matches to help prepare you students for the qualifiers to get into the upcoming Vytal Festival tournament. Our first matchup will be..." Glynda scrolls through the list and chooses two names. "Khazhak Rairyu and Nora Valkyrie."

Nora pumps her fists, "Oh, yeah, I've been waiting for this. I'm gonna smash you into the middle of next week, Khazhak,"

Khazhak simply cracks his knuckles, "Get ready to eat those words, Nora,"

"Hah, the only thing I'll be eating is Ren's pancakes after I wipe the floor with you," Nora taunts.

The two fighters grab their weapons and make their way to the arena below. Taking separate ends of the stage, Khazhak draws his blades while Nora has her weapon in its grenade launcher form.

Glynda raises a hand, "And... begin!" she drops it and the match begins.

Nora fires off her grenades, but Khazhak races around each of them before firing off a few shots as he closes in. Nora twirls her weapon around into its war hammer form and blocks the bullets and goes right on the attack. The two clash with their weapons, but Khazhak kicks Nora back and jumps into the air with a double downward swing. Nora jumps back and tries to smash Khazhak into the floor, but he jumps back and she hits nothing but floor.

"Come on, Khazhak, try and shock me with your lightning. You won't beat me otherwise," Nora taunts him while swinging her hammer around at him.

Khazhak simply smirks and evades her swings. When Nora makes a swing at his side, Khazhak ducks under it and gets two hits in with his swords before kicking Nora away again. Up in the stands, the teams watch the fight with great enthusiasm.

"Why is Nora egging him on like that? She doesn't usually do that sort of thing," Blake asks Ren.

Ren sighs, "Nora is trying to get Khazhak to use his semblance so she can get stronger from it with her semblance and smash him into the ground with the extra power," he shakes his head.

"Well, in theory, it's not a bad strategy, given the way their two semblances work, but Khazhak is more than just his semblance," Porphyrius notes.

Back down in the arena, Nora starts to get a little agitated as Khazhak doesn't take her bait and use his semblance so she can use hers.

"You know Nora, if you put a little more time into strategizing instead of taunting me, you'd probably get more progress done," Khazhak notes as he starts playing with her by evading her strikes without retaliating.

"Shut up, I'm not some newborn baby chick that you have to coddle," Nora smashes her hammer down on him again, but he dodges it again.

"Chirp, chirp, chirp little chick. But honestly, did you really think that goading me into using my semblance, when I know EXACTLY how yours works, was really gonna work? You should leave the plan making up to Jaune," Khazhak taunts her, which pisses her off.

"Oh, that's it!" Nora changes her weapon back into its grenade launcher form and fire all of her grenades at him.

Khazhak fuses his swords into the greatsword form and charges forth, weaving around the grenades as he closes in. Nora changes her weapon back, but just as she gets ready to defend herself, Khazhak makes an upward swing to knock her hammer into the air. He then throws his greatsword and it catches the hammer in mid-air before pinning it against the wall within the small space between the blade; far out of Nora's reach.

"Alright then Nora, care to try me without your hammer?" Khazhak challenges her with a hand gesture.

Nora grits her teeth and charges right at a smirking Khazhak.

After class ended, Ren is taking care of an injured Nora in their dorm room.

"I told you that he wouldn't fall for it," Ren notes.

"Oh, I'll get him next time, Just you wait and-OW-see," Nora grumbles.

Skit 3: Relationship Roundabout

Out in the courtyard beyond the school, Porphyrius is having an... interesting meeting with Raven Branwen of all people.

"What does Yang even see in you?" Raven shoots off.

"What did Taiyang ever see in you?" Porphyrius shoots back.

The pair sit on opposite sides of a table, the tension between them so thick you can cut it with Ruby's scythe and make ten pies out of it.

"Look, we're not here to talk about my past love life. We're here to discuss why I should let a hooligan like you date my daughter," Raven retorts.

"Ha! If I'm a hooligan, then what's that make you? You left your daughter with Taiyang right after she was born and never looked back," Porphyrius laughs.

"Oh please, you've only been in her life for 6 months-," Raven begins.

"-You've only been in her life for 6 seconds!" Porphyrius raises his hands in the air.

"I saved her, something you didn't do while you were all on that train back in Mountain Glenn," Raven argues.

"Again, you're proving my point. You don't show up in her life for seventeen years, and then when you do actually show up, you don't even stick around. I still have a hard time believing you're Yang's mother. Guess it's a good thing that she inherited most of her personality traits from her dad. Even if he's a bit of an idiot. Again, what the Hell did you see in that guy? I figured with someone like you, you would've sent him packing by throwing him off the roof of one of the dorm buildings," Porphyrius says.

Raven sighs, "Truth be told, I did do that. But, if there's one thing I know about Tai, it's that he's astonishingly resilient. Not to mention persistent,"

Porphyrius deadpans, "Was he that much of an idiot? What else did you do to him?"

Raven starts counting fingers, "Let's see... There was one time where I shoved him into one of those rocket-propelled lockers and sent him flying into the middle of the Grimm-infested Emerald Forest. There was one time where I beat him up and tied him to the statue at the front of the school in nothing but his underwear... Summer gave me quite the tongue-lashing for that. One time, I was cooking up pasta in the dorm kitchen when he tried hitting on me again, so I splashed his face with the hot pasta and water which sent him to the infirmary. I had to make a whole new pot of pasta, but it was worth it," Raven says, a slightly creepy smile on her face as she reminisces on the good old days.

Now, Porphyrius is creeped out, "Even after all that, he still tried coming on to you?"

"Well, you know what they say: stupid is stupid. Ignorance you can fix; stupid is forever. Eventually, I gave up and decided to take him up on his offer and go on a date with him. Originally, it was just so he'd stop badgering me about the whole thing. However, it was nice, sort of. I guess it just went on from there and the rest is basically history," Raven ends her story.

"Well, I can at least believe all of the horrendous things you did to Taiyang at Beacon, and that he was dumb enough to brave through all of that just to get a date with you," Porphyrius shakes his head.

Raven nods, "Yes... Hey, wait a minute! This conversation is about whether or not you're worthy enough to date my daughter, not about my love life!"

"Oh, for the love of Oum, maybe if you spent more than five minutes with her and actually became a part of her life, then MAYBE there'd be some weight to that little argument of yours! Who she dates is none of your business, and more importantly, I don't have to prove myself to you or to anyone but Yang. So, get off my back, and be a real parent for once in your bandit-crazy life!" Porphyrius groans.

Suffice to say, the conversation went nowhere fast until Khazhak came by later to diffuse the situation and get Raven to leave before things got worse.

Skit 3: Under Aunt's Skin

"So, this is where your niece and nephew go now? From what you told me about your family, I'm surprised that they'd be at a huntsmen academy and not just ripping Grimm apart out in the wild," Joana notes as she, the rest of the Happy Huntresses, and Robyn stare up at the towers of Beacon Academy.

"Hey, I'm just as surprised about it as you. But, I really ought to be there for them here since I wasn't when they were younger. I just hope they don't try to kill me the second they see me," Robyn notes.

"I'm sure it'll be fine. You're Khazhak and Voshkie'ahk's aunt. You're family," Fiona tries to cheer her up.

Robyn sighs, "Thanks, Fiona,"

"Did I hear you right?" they look back to see Yukari Hakucho walking up to them. "You're Voshkie'ahk's aunt? Well, color me surprised," she takes out a fan to hide part of her face.

"I'm sorry; who are you?" Robyn asks.

"Well, figures that she didn't tell you since you're not all that close. I'm Yukari Hakucho, Voshkie'ahk's girlfriend and destined one. Oh, and I suppose Khazhak and I get along well enough... most of the time," Yukari giggles.

This piece of information shocks them, "Wait, you're Voshkie'ahk's what-now?" Robyn is shocked.

"Wow, you never told us that Voshkie'ahk was into girls," May notes.

"That's because I didn't know. Until now, at least," Robyn replies.

Yukari stares accusatorily at Robyn, "Of course not, because you weren't there for Voshkie'ahk to tell you. Now, I'm not all too familiar with all of my darling's family history, but I do know that she didn't like that you rarely showed your face when she was just a child," she walks around the group, appraising them. "Hmmm, well, your outfits are certainly functional enough for the cold climate of Solitas, they do absolutely nothing for your feminine charms... assuming you even have those anyway,"

"What did you just say?" Fiona feels insulted and tries to march forth, only for Joana and May to hold her back.

"Hey, eyes on me, Miss Fashionista. We didn't come here to talk about clothes. I came to see my niece and nephew. I know that I have a lot of making up to do for all those years I was away from them, but I'm still their aunt. What makes you think you can just waltz up here and decide if I can be there for them? More importantly, what makes you think you're even worthy of being Voshkie'ahk's girlfriend?... That's going to take getting some used to," Robyn gets in her face.

Yukari remains unperturbed, "Oh please, I'll bet that in terms of combined years of knowing Voshkie'ahk at least, I'm either on the same level as you or I'm higher. Now, you might have better chances with Khazhak, but he's far less forgiving than my darling, and myself. Besides, I believe Voshkie'ahk gets the final say in whether or not I get to be with her. Wouldn't you agree, Miss Aunt,"

Robyn can do nothing but except that as the truth, since it is.

Robyn sighs, "You're right... I'm sorry. I know I have no right to talk, but that doesn't mean that I don't care about them. They're the only family I have left,"

Yukari lowers her fan, "I never said that I didn't want you to be a part of Voshkie's life again. The more people around her that care about her, the happier she'll be. And the happier she'll be, the happier I'll be. So, go on. I won't stop you," she shows a gentler smile.

Robyn smiles back, "Thank you, Yukari,"

"But, that being said, I have first dibs on Voshkie'ahk. Speaking of which, I think she might be heading for the showers right now. See you later," Yukari then dashes to the school.

Inside, Team KEPL are walking by when Khazhak stops and looks around frantically.

"Brother, what's wrong?" Lloyd asks.

"My big brother senses are tingling. Yukari's up to something again. I'll be back," and then Khazhak dashes off somewhere.

Just another day for the Ryu family.

And that's the chapter. Keep those ideas coming if you want the chance to possibly see them in a future chapter. What other crazy scenarios will come up next? Until then, please Read and Review.
