Here we are at Chapter 23. Let's see what weird scenarios are going on with the teams this time around. It's time for more RWBY KEPL Chibi! I do not own RWBY. They belong to roosterteeth. I only own my OCs. Here's chapter 23. Enjoy.
Chapter 23: Dates and Dust
Skit 1: Double Date
In Vale, Voshkie'ahk is walking through the streets of Vale... with Yukari wrapped around her arm and a big smile on her face.
"Yay! It's been so long since our last date, Voshkie darling. I must thank Professor Ozpin sometime for giving you the day off. I haven't had my daily dose of Voshkie'ahk in quite some time, you know. Leaving my all alone like that," Yukari nudges her cheek against Voshkie'ahk's.
Voshkie'ahk sighs, "I'm sorry about that, Yukari. I've just been really busy lately. That's why I asked for the day off so we could go on a date today. And also to keep you and Master Qrow from trying to kill each other,"
"That old, drunk fart started it. Keeping my precious darling away from me with all his secret missions. He will never understand the heart of a fair maiden," Yukari tears up dramatically.
Voshkie'ahk facepalms, "One of these days, I really hope you two will learn how to get along,"
"Oh, Voshkie'ahk, is that you?" they hear and look to see Jaune's older sister, Saphron, and her wife, Terracotta, walking while holding hands. "Hey, it's been a while, Voshkie'ahk," Saphron waves at them.
"Saphron, Terracotta, fancy meeting you here. I suppose it has been a while," Voshkie'ahk greets them.
"Voshkie darling, who are they?" Yukari eyes them suspiciously.
"Now, now, Yukari, they're just friends of mine. This is Jaune's older sister, Saphron, and her wife, Terracotta. I met them while I was working in Anima one time," Voshkie'ahk explains.
Saphron takes notice of Yukari, "Wait, you're Yukari Hakucho, the fashion designer. I've read your magazines, and then gave them to my brother to read. Your work is awesome,"
At hearing the praise, Yukari changes her tune, "Oh, stop it, you say the nicest things. It just comes naturally for me,"
"So, what are you guys doing here?" Voshkie'ahk asks.
"We're just out for a little date for ourselves. We have Adrian at daycare right now and Terracotta had some time off from work, so we thought it would be a good idea," Saphron says.
"I take it you guys are in a similar situation," Terracotta quickly figures out by seeing how attached Yukari is to Voshkie'ahk.
"I guess so," Voshkie'ahk scratches her cheek.
"Hey, there's a good restaurant near here. Why don't we all go together? Like a double date of sorts. I'd like to talk a bit since it's a been so long since we last saw each other," Saphron suggests, to which the others soon agree.
…
Getting a booth at a local restaurant, the two couples spend some time talking about the latest news, what they've been up to, and other stuff.
"I see. To think that Qrow made you wear boys' clothes because I simply didn't think to get you proper clothes for a huntress-in-training, or even a girl for that matter. I can't exactly say that I'm surprised, considering his... disposition," Terracotta notes.
Voshkie'ahk hides her face in her hands, "Please don't remind me. I still feel embarrassed about it,"
"Oh, please, you'd look amazing in anything you wear, my darling. But, there are far better clothes for a young lady than that trash he practically forced upon you. I still haven't made him pay for that in full, yet," Yukari notes, taking a slightly sinister look in her eyes at the last part.
"Well, if Yukari is the one taking care of your clothing, then I'd say that you're in good hands. You've gotten quite a catch, Voshkie'ahk. Of course, I can say the same thing about myself. I'm a lucky girl, too," Saphron notes while taking her wife's hand in her own.
"Oh, seeing you two like this is making me think of our future wedding. Oh, and our first child. I'm thinking that I'd like to have two or three. What about you, Voshkie'ahk?" Yukari gets stars in her eyes.
"Um, I think wedding and children are taking things too fast right now, Yukari. Maybe in the future? Though, of course, I still want to be with you and... are you listening to me?" Voshkie'ahk gives her girlfriend a flat stare as she starts mumbling to herself.
"Oh, and I can design your wedding dress and mine. We'll invite you brother, but that drunk idiot is absolutely not invited to our wedding..." and Yukari is not listening to her.
Skit 2: Winning is Winning
Out in the courtyard, Yang is glaring at Blake, who leans up against a tree.
"This time, Blake, I am so tagging you," Yang declares.
Blake checks her nails, "Uh-huh, that's what you said the last seven times,"
Yang growls at her and jumps to tag her. Unfortunately, Blake easily dodges her jump and ends up behind her. Yang goes again and ends up with the same result. Blake even uses her semblance one time and Yang nearly runs her face into the tree.
"Hey. That's cheating. You can't use your semblance like that!" Yang yells.
"We never established any rules about using semblances or not before we started the game. So, my semblance is fair. You're free to use yours, but... it's not exactly suited for something as simple as a game of tag. Oh well," Blake taunts her.
Yang almost goes berserk, but keeps it cool (sort of) and tries again. This goes on for a while, and not once did Yang ever manage to tag Blake. Eventually, Yang got tired and ended up lying on the grass, catching her breath.
"What happened to you?" Khazhak appears and looms over her.
"Leave... Me... Alone... Khazhak. I'm trying to... catch Blake... in tag," Yang wheezes.
"Oh, and let me guess, she's practically dancing around you just like the last seven times that you played tag against her," Khazhak raises an eyebrow.
Yang gets back up, "Oh, shut up. I swear that I will tag her in tag, or at least beat her some other way. I'm not going to let this stand. I will win, or at the very least I will make Blake lose,"
Khazhak crosses his arms, "Not with brute force and bravado alone, you're not. Blake is smart, agile. Like a cat, no pun intended. You can't match her agility, nor her speed. You've always been more about simply punching your way out of problems, rather than solving them. You have to out-think her, but you're not going to do that alone,"
"Are you saying that I'm an idiot?!" Yang gets annoyed.
"Which member of your team has the lowest test scores, even if you all passed?" Khazhak asks with a flat stare.
Yang looks away, "Well... Okay, fine, what do you suggest I do?" Yang gives in.
"To defeat your enemy, you must know them. Part of knowing them is studying their fighting style, find their weakness, and then use it against them. So, tell me Yang, what is Blake's weakness?" Khazhak asks.
Yang thinks about it for a moment before it dons on her and she smiles.
…
A little later, Blake is reading a book on a bench in the courtyard when Yang and Khazhak show up in front of her.
"Decided to get some backup, Yang?" Blake asks.
"It wasn't established in the rules. So, it's fair game. Can Khazhak play with us?" Yang asks.
"Sure, I don't mind who plays with us. I'll still win," Blake puts her book away.
"Cool," Yang tags Khazhak. "You're it," and then Yang steps back.
"So, now you're going to try and tag me, Khazhak?" Blake asks.
Khazhak smirks, "Nope. He is," and suddenly pulls out Zwei from behind. "And now Zwei is it,"
Blake immediately freaks out, "What?! That's not fair. He can't play with us!" she starts stepping back.
"There's no rule against it, Blake. Sick her, Zwei!" Yang shouts.
Zwei barks before he starts going after Blake, who runs for it. Zwei chases her throughout the courtyard, but even with her ninja skills, she was still no match for her greatest weakness. Zwei eventually catches her, which is evident when Yang and Khazhak find her on the ground, with Zwei on top kicking her face. Khazhak and Yang high-five each other. Sometimes, winning is just winning.
Skit 3: Gravity
"Weiss, why do you always need so much stuff?" Ruby stares flatly.
Ruby and Weiss are outside the dorms, with a cart full of Weiss' luggage. Typical rich girl stuff.
"Because, I need clothes, books, supplies, and just about anything I may need for any kind of situation. It's called being prepared, Ruby," Weiss crosses her arms in defense.
"I don't suppose your cake butler is in one of the suitcases, is he?" Ruby asks, staring at the pile of said suitcases.
"No... Well, I tried to have him shipped here, but it's much easier sending a dog through the mail than a human like what your dad did with Zwei," Weiss points out.
"One, that was a completely different situation. He does that stuff all the time," Ruby waves it off.
"Again, your father or your dog? Not that I mind Zwei being here," Weiss asks, thinking goo-goo-ga-ga thoughts about the furball.
"Hey! They look up to see Yang hanging out the window to their dorm room, waving to them. "We're all set up here. Waiting for the packages to be delivered,"
"I still cannot believe you convinced me to try this," Weiss says, looking between Yang and Ruby.
"The last time you had luggage delivered, it was as heavy as Nora's hammer. Even Yang had trouble lifting that up," Ruby retorts, then pulls out some gravity dust. "This was, we can just levitate the luggage all the way up to our room and Blake and Yang can reel it in. No muss, no fuss,"
Weiss sighs, "Fine, but if anything happens to my stuff, you WILL be paying for it,"
"Let's get this started. All aboard the gravity elevator," Ruby uses the gravity dust on the luggage, which starts slowly lifting up off the ground and going up.
"Um, how long will this take?" Weiss asks.
"Don't know. I couldn't get that much gravity dust since they're expensive, and you didn't want to help with that part of the plan. But, I think this should be enough. Though, I don't know how to make this go faster," Ruby watches the luggage go up.
"You what?!" Weiss almost shrieks.
The luggage is progressing up, but when it reaches the halfway point, the gravity dust runs out of power and the luggage falls down fast. Weiss gasps, but activates her glyphs to catch the luggage before it hits the ground and makes a big mess.
Weiss sighs in relief, but gets angry at Ruby, "You dunce! What do you think would've happened if they crashed on the ground. I have dust in some of the suitcases, thank you very much!" she yells.
"Hey, don't get angry at me. If you would've helped with this plan, your luggage would've been up in our room by now!" Ruby argues back.
Just then, Porphyrius walks up after hearing their screaming, "What are you two arguing about now?"
"We're trying to get Weiss' luggage into our room without breaking our backs by using gravity dust, but it didn't work," Ruby explains.
"Oh, hear, let me try something," Porphyrius activates his gravity semblance and lifts the luggage all the way up to their room, allowing Blake to use her chain-scythe to pull it all in without any issues. "There, that should do the trick. Later," Porphyrius wipes his hands and walks away with a whistle.
Ruby and Weiss watch him leave with shocked faces, "That cocky little-argh!" Weiss gets angry again.
"Thanks, Porphyrius. We appreciate the help," Ruby waves to him, and once he's gone, she adopts a grumpy face like Weiss. "I should've just asked him from the start. Why can't our team's semblance be useful for stuff that doesn't involve fighting monsters?"
"At least my luggage has been delivered safely... but yes, I agree with you on that note," Weiss notes.
They wish they had his semblance for stuff like that sometimes.
And that's the chapter. Thanks for the ideas, guys. Don't stop them from coming and you might see them in the next chapter. What other adventures will happen at Chibi Beacon? Until then, please Read and Review.
