Here we are at Chapter 24. Let's have a little more fun, hehehehe... Okay, anyway it's time for more RWBY KEPL Chibi! I do not own RWBY. They belong to roosterteeth. I only own my OCs. Here's chapter 24. Enjoy.
Chapter 24: Matches and Badges
Skit 1: Twin Tastes
"Why do I have to help you look for a gift for your girlfriend? No offense, but she can be really irritating at times," Khazhak slouches as he and Voshkie'ahk walk through the streets of Vale.
"Because you promised you would help me after I helped you look for a birthday present for Ruby. It's only fair," Voshkie'ahk walks ahead of him. "Now, clothes are a no-go for her since she has her own clothing line anyway. Maybe perfume or some music she likes. Of course, this will involve a dinner date because she always wants to hang out,"
"I think I need to arrange her funeral after all..." Khazhak mutters darkly.
"No killing anyone, Khazzy. Please, just do this one thing for your little sister whom you haven't seen in quite some time," Voshkie'ahk replies.
Khazhak sighs, "Maybe I can get Ozpin to shoot me into the Emerald Forest again," he moans as they walk on.
However, as they move past one alleyway, Melanie and Miltia Malachite pop out from the shadows, watching them go.
"Khazhak and Voshkie'ahk are siblings? We just hit the jackpot, Miltia!" Melanie nearly cheers.
"Oh, but now which one should we choose? Khazhak is handsome, smart, a great fighter, and he lives by his own rules, and handsome. But, Voshkie'ahk is incredibly beautiful, with little to no makeup whatsoever, not to mention that she's a skilled fighter to and has such grace and elegance, and the kind of innocence that tears you between protecting her and claiming that innocence for yourself. What do we do, Melanie?" Miltia asks.
"Well, I'd love to have them both, but I don't want you to be left out and it'd be awkward if we were in more... private settings given the fact that they are siblings. How about this: we each get one and after having some fun for a while, we switch. Then after that, we decide which one we like more and that will be our respective partners," Melanie explains.
"But, what if we end up liking them both equally, or we both end up liking the same person more than the other?" Miltia points out.
"Then we flip a coin for it. Who cares! Right now, our main objective is to get their attention and get those dates. Let's go," and thus, the twins have their plan and go after the two siblings to make their move.
The twins follow the siblings as they near a boutique store. While Khazhak stays outside, not wanting to go in, Voshkie'ahk heads inside to look around. The twins see this as their perfect chance.
"Okay, which one do you want first, Miltia?" Melanie asks.
"I think I want Voshkie'ahk first," Miltia eyes the girls in the store.
"Alright then, let's split up. When I distract Khazhak that'll be your que to head inside. Ready, go!" and the twins are off.
Khazhak is playing on his scroll when... "Hey, Khazhak. A pleasure to see you again," he looks and instantly gets on the defensive when he sees Melanie standing near him. "How you've been?" Melanie tries to appear all sweet and innocent.
"Melanie?! What are you doing here? Wait, is your sister here, too?" Khazhak looks around for Miltia.
"My sister and I aren't around each other, 24/7. We have our own things to do separately, you know," Melanie keeps Khazhak's attention long enough for Miltia to sneak by into the store to talk to Voshkie'ahk. "Speaking of which, I don't have any plans for later this evening. Would you care to grab a bite with me later on? I know this new restaurant that recently opened up. The food is really good," Melanie saunters closer to Khazhak.
Khazhak steps back, "Sorry, I'm afraid I'll have to pass, because I actually do have things to do later this evening... like finding new ways to make Yukari's life miserable," he mutters the last part.
But, Melanie pales when she hears that name, "Wait, Yukari, as in Yukari Hakucho?"
"Yeah, Voshkie'ahk's girlfriend. I guess you're a fan of her work too, huh," Khazhak gets a little confused when she gets scared.
Memories flood in when the twins tried hitting on Voshkie'ahk together, only to feel the wrath of an angry Yukari at their club. Just then, they hear a loud scream from inside the store and see Miltia running out.
"Hi, Khazhak, nice to see you. Melanie, we have to leave, now!" Miltia grabs Melanie and makes a break for it.
Khazhak watches them run and then see Yukari running out the store while wielding Lloyd's claws.
"Get back here, you dirty little hussies. I'm not done with you until I skin you alive and stuff you inside a bag of your own skin!" Yukari goes nuts as she chases them.
Voshkie'ahk walks out while shaking her head, "One day, just one day, I'd like to go to Vale without anything crazy happening,"
"How'd she know you were even here?" Khazhak asks.
"How should I know? It's like she has a sixth sense for knowing where I am all the time," Voshkie'ahk replies before they hear more screaming down the street. "Ugh, what am I going to do with her?"
Skit 2: Senior Detectives
"Alright Neptune, time to scope out crime scenes, interrogate suspicious suspects, and crack those cases wide open!" Sun pumps his fist.
Neptune shines up his badge, "Yeah, let's show them what junior detectives with badges can do,"
The two wannabe detectives start walking around town, looking for potential cases to work on. The first one they find is when the old shopkeeper walks out the back of his store carrying a box and looking all over the place before heading to his truck.
"Doesn't he look..." Neptune begins.
"Suspicious?" Sun finishes.
They quickly jump into gear and tackle the shopkeeper to the ground, "Hold it right there! Just where do you think you're going with that suspicious package?" Neptune begins interrogating him.
"Hey, get off me! That's my merchandise," the shopkeeper retorts.
"A likely story," Sun goes to open the package, only for a new hand to grab his arm. Sun looks to see Khazhak standing before him. "Khazhak, what are you doing here?"
"Keeping you two idiots from getting yourselves arrested," Khazhak says before pulling Sun away from the box. "What you see here is in fact merchandise for his store,"
"But, he was looking around all over the place, acting all suspicious," Neptune says.
"He was only doing that because I was worried someone would try to rob him of course," a new voice enters the fray and they all look back to see Pyrrha join them.
"Pyrrha?" Neptune looks confused.
Pyrrha waves, "Hello again,"
Khazhak grabs Neptune and pulls him off of the Shopkeeper while Pyrrha helps him up and gives him back his box.
"Don't tell me you guys forgot about all those robberies that were done by Roman Torchwick a while back. That's why he's so nervous. All you morons did was make things harder for him," Khazhak explains.
"Okay, okay, fine, our bad. But, we still have plenty of other cases to crack. Let's go, Neptune!" Sun and Neptune take their leave while Khazhak merely shakes his head.
Neptune and Sun continue to try and work as junior detectives. One time, they try to stop what they believe is an auto burglary, only for Khazhak and Pyrrha to come around and prove it was just a random guy checking the undercarriage of his car after putting a spare tire on the one of the rear wheels. Next, they try to bust someone who was coming out of a local bank, checking some money in their hands. They think it was a robbery and they try to arrest them. However, Khazhak and Pyrrha step in before things get ugly and show that the individual simply made a withdrawal from the bank and was making sure they had all the money they needed. After that, Sun and Neptune arrive at the scene of a car accident and after investigating the scene (sort of), they determine that both drivers are at fault. However, Khazhak stops the while Pyrrha walks up with a cat in her arms and an eyewitness who said that the cat entered the roadway in front of one car, causing it to skid out of the way and into the second vehicle. Thus, they were able to safely end the investigation and come to a decision that everyone involved could agree on.
Suffice to say, Neptune and Sun ended up closing none of their supposed cases, mostly because Khazhak and Pyrrha closed them for the two junior detectives anyway.
Skit 3: Taking out the Trash... Again
In the cafeteria at Beacon, Tem KEPL and CFVY are hanging out for lunch.
"So, you guys will be heading out soon on your next little training mission, huh," Porphyrius notes while eating a sandwich.
"Yeah, the day after tomorrow. We'll be heading out east beyond the kingdom to deal with a pack of Grimm that's been getting a little too close to the kingdom's walls for comfort. Should be gone for a few days to a week at most, just to make sure the problem has been taken care of," Coco replies.
"Well, just be careful now," Khazhak says.
"Man, I wish I was going along. At least that way, I could get away with destroying some stuff. Maybe I can borrow Ruby's idea and mail myself there," Lloyd scratches his chin, while Edom just shakes his head.
While they're all talking, Porphyrius spots Team CRDL walking by, each member glaring at Velvet from behind. No doubt they're up to something again. Well, not if he has anything to say about it.
…
A little later, Velvet is heading off to her next class for the day, but Team CRDL are waiting for her from around the corner. Just as they're about to do something, a sudden force pushes them all flat upon the ground and they can't get back up. Velvet walks by without ever noticing.
"Hey Velvet," she looks to see Porphyrius walk up to her.
"Porphyrius, I didn't know your next class was this way," Velvet says.
"No, it's not, but the forge is and I need to work on my backpack a bit. Besides, my next class isn't for a little while, so I don't mind making good use of my time," Porphyrius says as they walk off.
Only when they're far enough away does the force of gravity on Team CRDL dissipate and they're back on their feet.
"What the heck was that?!" Sky looks around.
"I don't know, but we've more important things to worry about. Come on, we're not done with that freak just yet," Cardin says.
…
For the rest of the day, Team CRDL keep setting traps and pranks for Velvet, but each time they do, Porphyrius is always right there to mess up their plans. Whether it was making a trap fall on top of them with the help of some gravity weights, or sending them flying up with a burst of gravity, or simply shooting at them from a distance in order to get them running away screaming. And somehow, Velvet never saw any of this, nor did she think it was strange that Porphyrius was around more often than usual. Well, she didn't mind since they were friends and all. By the next day, Team CRDL were exhausted.
"Cardin, did you do something to have some kind of curse placed on us or something?" Dove asks while lying on the ground.
"Shut up, there's no such thing as curses!" Cardin says, while hiding under his bed.
"Then why does this stuff keep happening to us?" Sky asks.
"I don't know, but I'll bet it has something to do with that disgusting Faunus. I won't let this stand!" Cardin declares.
Tem CRDL race towards Team CFVY's room, determined to do something to their Faunus member before the team heads out on their mission. However, the only thing awaiting them is not Team CFVY, but Team KEPL.
"Now this is what I call fun," Lloyd smirks evilly while cracking his knuckles.
"I guess you really can't fix stupid. Oh well," Khazhak shrugs his shoulders before taking out his blades.
The screams of four little girls(?) can be heard all across the school, making people wonder what was going on. Suffice it so say, Team CRDL gave up after that. They still had to recover in the student infirmary anyway.
