Guest-With your review, I'm assuming that you are a Kaiba/OC or a Kaiba/Reader kind of person. My answer to your question is no, Paige will not be having any kind of love relationship with Kaiba mainly because in my opinion of the show, I don't think Paige should be around someone who could possibly be toxic or controlling in the relationship. Also, I don't think Yugi and Solomon would approve of the relationship, even if Paige did have feelings for Kaiba. However, throughout my Yugioh fandom, Paige will have a strong friendship with Mokuba. Paige only has eyes for Joey, with the possibility of Tristan or Bakura as her boyfriend/future husband and that's if I decide to write a one shot Yugioh fanfic after season 5.

Guest 2-You're right...this is my story and I'm trying to do it the way it was originally aired here in the US. As far as I know, neither Joey, Mai, nor Yugi ever said the monster's name in the United States airing of the episode. If the creators of the show wanted to do a reboot for the current generations (2008-current) then I would have added the name of the monster in that chapter. Until it actually happens, this is how I'm imagining things for my Yugioh fanfic.

"Oh, no. Our brave heroes…." said Adena, watching the city before her shake around Yugi, Joey and Mai. "They were right in the middle of that."

Everyone gasps as they hear crackling. Coming out from under the ground, the flying machine appears and finally restored. "They did it!" cheered Adena, seeing the flying machine for the first time in 1,000 years. "Their magic worked. They revived the ancient flying machine."

"Wow. We're flying!" Joey said, amazed that it worked. "I guess that Time Wizard must have done the trick."

"Yeah." said Yugi, smiling at his best friend.

"You did it!" squealed Mai, hugging the blond.

"Get off me." Joey tells her, extremely uncomfortable by this. Down below, they heard the kingdom cheer for them. "Whoa. Talk about a bon voyage. We're heroes!"

"Good luck!" a man said as the trio waves good bye.

"So long, everyone!" said Yugi.

"Hey, look who it is." said Joey as Earu flies up towards them.

"Earu. I guess that means you want to come with us." Yugi said and Earu nodded. "All right, then. Kaiba, we're on our way!"

"I'm driving." Joey said as he ran towards the direction of the steering wheel. "I called it. I'm driving. Okay, let's go!"

"Come back safely!" said a man in the crowd as Joey turns the wheel. "Slay the dragon!"

"And we are off." said Joey as he steers the towards the dark castle.

"Good luck, heroes. Good luck." Adena said as she watches them fly off.

At Kaiba Corp, one of Kemo's goons was able to somewhat get through the door. "I see an opening." he said, reaching inside.

"Get out, get out, get out!" said Paige, hitting the goon's hand with what appears to be her brother's baseball bat.

"No, you don't." said Tea, pushing his hand out as Tristan places a desk on top of another desk.

"We're getting in there, you little thumb suckers." said Kemo. "Just you wait."

"No way." said Tristan. "Our friends are on a rescue mission, and you're not yanking them out of it."

"Uh, this is your captain speaking." said Joey, taking them into the dark clouds. "If you direct your attention to the left side of our aircraft, you can see that freaky floating castle, some clouds, and what appears to be a swarm of ferocious winged monsters ready to devour us!"

"Hang on." said Yugi as Joey takes them into the swarm.

"Here they come." said Joey as the swarm flew towards them.

"And I couldn't be more ready." said Mai, ready as ever to take on the swarm of winged monsters. "Attack, Harpie Lady!" Harpie Lady screeches as she went through the swarm.

"Attack, Fierce Knight!" shouted Joey. Fierce Knight growls as he went next.

"Dark Magician, Attack!" shouted Yugi as Dark Magician brings up the rear with dark magic.

"All right. Our monsters are kicking butt!" said Joey as he sails through the swarm. Out of nowhere, the flying machine starts shaking as it was being attack from underneath. "Something's hitting us! And one of them wants the earmeist."

"Yugi, look out!" Mai cried out as Yugi fell behind Joey. Dark Magician turns around to see Yugi on the floor when Earu flies in front of him, protecting him from the attack. The winged monster in front of Yugi roars as it swipes Earu to the side.

"Oh, no!" said Yugi as Earu cries out in pain. "Earu!"

Just then, Dark Magician swoops in, attacking the winged monster with its staff. "Swords of Revealing Light!" shouted Yugi, activating his spell card, stopping the winged army of monsters in their tracks.

"That stopped them monsters cold." Joey said, relieved. Yugi held Earu in his hands, feeling helpless that she couldn't protect him. Earu groans as she weakly looks up at Yugi.

"Are you okay?" asked Yugi with tears in his eyes. "Earu, say something." Earu tries to say something but disappears in his hands. "No. She's been digitized." Tears fell from Yugi's eyes as he made fists. "I've had enough!" Just then, the millenium puzzle starts to glow.

"YUGIOH!"

Yami took over, standing amongst Joey and Mai. "All right, Joey. Charge ahead." Yami tells him and Joey does so when he suddenly hits the invisible barrier.

"Oh, no! We've hit the magical barrier!" shouted Mai.

"Well, if this ship lives up to its legend, then we should be able to pass through it." said Joey, hoping that they would get through. Soon enough, the ship was able to get through the barrier. "It worked! We made it, guys! We're totally home free! We're almost at the Castle of Dark Illusions!"

"Not quite yet." said Yami. "Turn!"

Joey follows Yami's direction as fire was shot out of the floating castle. "A Salamandra!" exclaimed Mai. "Harpie, Attack!" Harpie Lady screeched as she flies towards Salamandra with Rose Whip, destroying it.

"Nuts!" shouted Joey, seeing that the ship was on fire. "We got it."

"No!" shouted Yami, looking at the damage.

"She's falling apart. Abandon ship!" Joey tells Yami and Mai.

"Hang on!" bellowed Yami. "Winged Guardian of the Fortress!"

Just as the ship went burning down, Winged Guardian flew the trio out of danger. "That was quick thinking, Yuge." said Joey as Harpie Lady, Dark Magician and Fierce Knight followed them.

"Close call." Mai said as the ship was now destroyed.

"Kaiba, here we come!" said Joey.

Inside, Kaiba felt like he was defeated when Witty Phantom appeared. "Wake up, Kaiba." he said, getting the CEO's attention. "You've programmed me torment my captives, not let them sleep."

"Guess you weren't my most inspired creation." said Kaiba.

"Heh-heh-heh. Come now, Kaiba." said Witty Phantom. "Give yourself some credit. After all, just look who I managed to snatch." Witty then shows him Mokuba, dressed up as Princess Adena. "His disguise didn't fool us."

"Seto!" cried Mokuba, taking off his disguise.

"Mokuba, what are you doing here?" Kaiba asked his little brother.

"What do you think, big brother?" Mokuba asked. "I'm here to save you."

"Please." said Witty Phantom, watching the sibling reunion. "You're not in a position to be saving anyone. No, you're about to join your brother for a dip in the lava pool of atonement. And once that ritual is completed, the Mythic Dragon will be unleashed."

"AAH! Swordstalker, free my brother!" shouted Mokuba, sending out one of his monsters. Swordstalker swings its sword, freeing Kaiba from his chains. "Seto, here! Your deck!"

"Thanks, little brother." said Kaiba, taking back his deck.

"Wait, no!" exclaimed Witty Phantom, taking a step back from the situation.

"Heh." scoffed Kaiba, placing his duel disk on his arm. "Time for a trip to the recycle bin, Phantom! Go! Blue Eyes White Dragon!"

Blue Eyes roared as it appeared behind Kaiba, scaring Witty Phantom. "No!" Witty Phantom screamed in fear, running away from the Kaiba brothers.

"Blast that Phantom." Kaiba tells Blue Eyes. "Attack with White Lightning!"

Blue Eyes released White Lightning from its mouth at Witty Phantom, destroying him point blank. "Come on, lets go." Kaiba said to Mokuba and ran out. Just then, duplicates of the same monster came towards them in different directions.

"Armed Ninjas…." said Kaiba as a Dragon Jar appeared before him and Mokuba. "Like the one who took my first Blue Eyes. And it looks like they want a second one. Well, this time I'm ready. Go, Trap Master!" Trap Master was summoned and destroys the Dragon Jar. "There, now that Dragon Capture Jar is destroyed and the Blue Eyes that was taken from me is back in my control. So now I have 2….and twice the fire power!"

Both Blue Eyes White Dragons fired their White Lightning attacks on the Armed Ninjas, destroying them on sight. "Now, Mokuba, tell me how it is you got here." Kaiba said, wanting an explanation from him.

"Don't be mad, but I got Yugi, Paige and their friends to help." explained Mokuba.

"You did what?" asked Kaiba, shocked that his brother went to them for help. "You know how I feel about Yugi Muto."

"But I didn't know who else to turn to." said Mokuba, feeling guilty about what he did.

"Anyone else." Kaiba growled. "Now, let's see if we can escape this game."

"What on earth?" asked Joey as he, Yugi and Mai arrived at Castle of Dark Illusions. "A floating castle with its own forest? I think maybe Kaiba ought to spend more time in reality."

"Keep your guard up." suggested Yami.

"Look!" said Mai as they came to a stop and sees an unusual tree with three huge cocoons on it. "The cocoons of evolution."

"But why are they buzzing?" Joey inquired.

"I don't think that's them, Joey." said Mai when popping out of the forest were wasp like monsters. "It's a whole swarm of Killer Needles!"

"Not a problem. Attack, Fierce Knight!" shouted Joey and Fierce Knight swings its staff at the swarm. Suddenly, a Killer Needle grabs a hold of Fierce Knight, causing both monsters to be destroyed in the process.

"My knight!" gasped Joey.

"Man eaters." said Yami. "This must be one huge bug nest."

"Incoming!" said Joey as more Killer Needles and other bug monsters swarm towards the trio.

"Stand strong." said Yami as he pulls out a trap card. "Go, Mirror Force!"

Once Mirror Force was activated, Killer Needles and their friends were destroyed in a fiery downfall. "That fire…." Mai said as it starts to surround the tree and the cocoons. "its disturbing the cocoons. They're hatching!" Mai was right about it as the cocoons hatched. "And they're full of more creatures!"

"Oh, man, no way we're gonna be able to take down all of them Great Moths." said Joey.

"No. It can be done, Joey." Yami said, knowing what he was planning to do. "With these!"

Yami had summoned Catapult Turtle and Kuriboh. "A Kuriboh? On a catapult!" said a confused Joey.

"Not just a Kuriboh, but a team of them." explained Yami as he drew the Multiply card and Kuriboh cooed, ready to fight. "Get ready for some fireworks! Go, Multiply!"

Soon enough, Catapult Turtle launches Kuriboh, causing it to Multiply in the air. "Oh, yeah!" said Joey, remembering that Kuriboh would explode on impact. "Kuribohs self-destruct on contact with enemy monsters. Those moths are done for."

"Yeah!" cheered Mai and Joey as the Great Moths went down in flames.

At Kaiba Corp, the big five watched the trio go further into the game. "Its time that we terminate this rescue mission and take this game to its final level." said Big One as he and his friends stood up.

"Wow. From creepy forest to creepy cavern." said Joey as they entered a cavern. "And still no trace of Kaiba and Mokuba." Suddenly, an unknown whisper was heard. "Whoa, did you guys hear that?" The unknown whisper was heard again. "There it is again! Something's definitely up there."

Out of nowhere, a bright light was shown in their eyes, temporary blinding them as a door appears. Coming out of a whole above the door was Kaiba's Blue Eyes White Dragon. "A Blue Eyes!" exclaimed Yami, seeing Kaiba's monster. Just then, Kaiba and Mokuba jumped out, landing in front of the trio.

"Kaiba, Mokuba, you're okay!" said Joey. "What a relief! We've been all worried."

"Hmm." Kaiba said, looking at what Joey was wearing. "Joey, you look like an overgrown monkey in that outfit."

"Overgrown Monkey?" exasperated Joey. "That's the thanks I get for coming to rescue….huh?"

"Congratulations, gamers. You've made it to the final level." said Big One.

"Hmm. Correction, you slime ball." Kaiba shot back. "We've beaten the game."

"Oh, is that what you think, Seto Kaiba?" asked Big One.

"That's right." he replied. "I escaped the Lava Pool. Therefore the Mythic Dragon wasn't summoned. That means this game is over."

"It'll be game over, all right." said Big Three. "But for you, not us."

Suddenly, the quintet heard familiar laughing as the scene around them changed, revealing game circuitry. "No way." said Kaiba.

"Huh?"

"What is this?" asked Joey.

"They've rewritten the program!" exclaimed Kaiba as the big five decided to enter the game as well. "They're summoning the Mythic Dragon themselves!"

Before them, roaring with all its might appeared the Mythic Dragon. "Oh, man." said Joey, scared more than ever.

"All right, everyone. Stay close." said Yami, staring the Mythic Dragon down. "We'll win together or together we'll fall."

"Man, have I had it with this virtual reality stuff." Joey complained. "Rescuing Kaiba was one thing, but now we gotta deal with this Mythic Dragon, too? I'm really starting to miss my body."

"Suck it up!" Kaiba told Joey. "There's only one way we can get out of this game."

"I agree." said Yami. "We have to take this dragon down."

"Lets go!"

"Me first. And I call out the Harpie Lady Sisters!" said Mai, summoning her favorite monster when suddenly electricity surrounded the three. "What's happened?"

"Just another bit of reprogramming that we did." chuckled Big One, causing them to look down.

"We call it the Dragon's seal, and it makes this lair a sacred place where only dragon class monsters are allowed to attack." said Big Three. "Every other monster type is useless."

Kaiba starts laughing at the big five. "You dare challenge me to a battle of Dragons?" asked Kaiba. "You five should all know better than that. I call the Blue Eyes White Dragon!"

"Only Dragons, huh?" asked Joey once Blue Eyes had been summoned. "Fine! Go, Red Eyes!"

"Harpie's Pet Dragon!" Mai yelled out.

"And I summoned, Curse of Dragon!" bellowed Yami. "Your Mythic Dragon will not stand against all we have set against it."

"Attack!" shouted those who summoned their dragons to the field and all four dragons fired their attacks on the Mythic Dragon. The Mythic Dragon fires back, each head fires their own attack, causing an explosion.

"None of our attacks even got through." said Joey as the smoke clears.

"You're right. Those blasts must have canceled each other out when they all collided." added Yami.

"So they did." said Big one. "But one of your team has no dragon with which to attack or defend." The only person who didn't have a dragon was Mokuba. "Isn't that right, Mokuba?"

"Wait. No, you wouldn't!" said Kaiba, realizing that they were going to attack his brother.

The Mythic Dragon fires upon Mokuba, causing Joey to spring into action. "No!" Joey cried out as he goes to protect the young Kaiba boy. "Block it, Red Eyes!"

"Ah!"

Red Eyes blocked the attack, protecting Mokuba. "Joey had his Red Eyes take the hit, but that means…" said Mai when suddenly, all of Joey's life points hit zero. Joey fell to his knees, groaning in pain. "No, Joey!"

Yami and Mai ran to the blonde boy. "Joey!" said Yami.

"Yugi. So long." said Joey and was beginning to digitized. "I'm done for."

"Don't say that." Yami tells him.

"Stay with us, please." pleaded Mai.

"You cant go." begged Mokuba. Joey chuckled as he gave them one last thumbs up before being fully digitized.

"We've lost him." said Yami.

"Joey! He's left us." said Mai.

"Paige is gonna be upset when she hears about this." said Mokuba.

"You creeps!" screamed Mai. "What kind of sick, twisted game have you turned this into?"

"Game? Ha-Ha-Ha-Ha!" laughed Big One. "This ceased to be a game long ago."

"We need a new tactic." said Kaiba.

"Yes." Yami said, rising to his feet. "With our dragons alone, we won't win this. But I think I know how we can."

"What do you mean?" Kaiba asked curiously.

"As strong as that Mythic Dragon might be, there's one creature that can beat it." Yami explained.

"Huh?"

"Black Luster Solider, I summon you by sacrificing the power of my Dark Knight and my Curse of Dragon!" shouted Yami, using a ritual to bring forth Black Luster Solider.

"Weren't you listening to what we just said?" asked Big One, laughing as Black Luster Solider fell to his knees. "Your Black Luster Solider is not a dragon. Therefore, he can't attack! But on the other hand, we can still attack him."

"No you cant." said Mai, going into Mama Bear mode. "My Pet Dragon will stop you."

Harpy's Pet Dragon roars in anger as it attacks the Mythic Dragon. "Then you'll pay the price." said Big One as it fires back.

"Mai!" Yami cried out. "Alone her dragon couldn't stand against it, which means…." Just like Joey, Mai's life points dropped to zero. "No!"

"Yugi, it looks like I'm not gonna be around to see how this whole thing turns out." Mai said. "Sorry, I tried my best. Guess now its….it's up to you."

"Mai." said Yami as Mai was digitized. "With all my might, I will avenge you. You and Joey. Now, Kaiba, this may be our one chance. We have to work as a team."

"No way." Kaiba tells him. "You don't even know what you're doing."

"You just have to trust me, Kaiba!" argued Yami.

"I don't have to do anything, Yugi." Kaiba argued back.

"You know, I wonder what it would have been like if I had Paige as a sibling." Mokuba said to himself as he watched the two older siblings argue.

"I can win this battle in my own way." said Kaiba, not hearing what his own little brother said.

"You'll win nothing." said Big One. "Two of your group are already gone. And now we'll make it three!"

"Kaiba, call your Ultimate Dragon!" shouted Yami.

"Silence!" Kaiba shouted back.

"Seto, its not your dragon he's attacking, its you!" Mokuba called out, then pushes his brother out of the way.

"No! Mokuba!" cried Kaiba, seeing his baby brother sacrificing himself.

"Seto…." groaned Mokuba digitizing as he falls to the ground.

"No. No!" Kaiba cried as Mokuba disappears. "Mokuba!"

"Kaiba, your brother's sacrifice doesn't have to be for nothing." Yami said to the CEO. "We can still win this, but we need to work together. I have a plan to defeat this beast. Listen, you have to trust me, it's the only way we can to avenge our friends. Now have faith and bring out your Ultimate beast."

"All right, then." said Kaiba, agreeing with Yami's plan. "Come out, Blue Eyes Ultimate Dragon!" All three Blue Eyes White Dragons came out from Kaiba's deck. "I hope you know what you're doing, Yugi."

"Fools. Names mean nothing." said Big One. "Though that dragon is powerful, ours is the ultimate one."

"For now, maybe." said Yami, glaring at the big five. "But once he has combined himself with another, your dragon's reign will be through. According to legend, when heroes are united, they will create a power strong enough to destroy the Mythic Dragon. We will fulfill that prophecy now! Go, Polymerization! Go, Solider!"

"Go Ultimate Dragon!" bellowed Kaiba.

"Combine!" they both shouted.

"Mythic Dragon, obliterate them!" shouted Big One and Mythic Dragon attacks, expecting what Yami and Kaiba were creating to be destroyed. "What? Nothing happened."

"Oh, something has happened." said Yami. "Behold, the Supreme Dragon Master Knight! Now see his awesome powers!"

Yugi's knight raised his sword, gathering power for him and Blue Eyes. "What's going on?" asked Big Three as Red Eyes Black Dragon and Harpy's Pet Dragon appeared. "Those Dragons were sent to the graveyard. How could they be back!"

"Look, something's even happening to our Mythic Dragon!" exclaimed Big Four as power was being drawn away.

"The Dragon Master gains the attack power of every dragon ever played on the field," Yami explained. "including ones that were already destroyed. Now, in the memory of Joey, Mai, Mokuba, we will topple your beast!"

Supreme Dragon Master Knight's attack power rosed to 9,000, overpowering the Mythic Dragon. "Attack Dragon Master Knight!" shouted Kaiba.

"Dragon Saber Blast!" shouted Yami. Dragon Master Knight swings his sword as it releases electricity while Blue Eyes Ultimate Dragon fires White Lightning, finally destroying the Mythic Dragon once and for all.

The virtual world crumbles around Yami and Kaiba, causing them to scream and fall into darkness. Yami groans as he opens his eyes and he hears people cheering. "Huh? What's this?" Yami asked Kaiba, who had a hand to his head.

"Where are we?" asked Kaiba as both of them stood to their feet.

"Our heroes!" a man in the crowd cried out. "You did it! You slayed the dragon!"

"Our heroes!" said Princess Adena, praising Yami and Kaiba. "What you've done will keep my people and our lands safe forever more."

"We're not the ones that you should be cheering." Yami tells her.

"There shouldn't be any cheering." Kaiba said, angrily. "I lost my brother in there."

"Fear not." said Adena. "The losses you've suffered are to great for any hero to bear, no matter how strong they are."

"Huh?"

Adena rose to the sky and turns into something very familiar. "Remarkable." said Yami, recognizing the duel monster. "The princess is actually the Mystical Elf. She's casting a spell to bring back our friends."

As the Mystical Elf continues to chant, a light beams down into the castle, bringing back Earu, Joey, Mai and Mokuba. "They're back!" Yami happily said with smiles appearing on his and Kaiba's faces.

"Mokuba." said Kaiba.

"Ah, man. What just happened to us?" asked Joey, sitting up.

"Big brother!" Mokuba happily cried out as he rushes to hug him. The crowd cheers as a hole opens up for quintet.

"Huh?"

"The exit portal." said Kaiba. "Let's go, Mokuba."

"Hey, hold it a sec, Kaiba." said Joey. "Don't you think the very least you could do is say thank you or something?"

"I never asked for your help, and as far as I'm concerned, I never needed it." said Kaiba.

"Aw, come on." said Joey.

"Yugi, you on the other hand, I will offer some gratitude." said Kaiba, looking over his shoulder.

"Huh?"

"We made a good team, you and I. But don't think it means that we'll be partnering up in true reality." Kaiba tells him. "I'll be talking to your sister in hopes of making a business deal for your Game Shop."

"Very well." said Yami. "I'll let Paige know to expect your call. But despite whatever grudge you may still hold against me and the others, perhaps you can at least begin to stop looking at us as just adversaries and more as friends."

"Hmm. Come on, Mokuba." said Kaiba.

"I'm coming." said Mokuba, following his brother.

"He's a pretty cheery guy, huh?" Mai asked as Joey growls.

"Thank you, our heroes." said Adena. "Your brave deeds will always be remembered here."

"And we will aways remember all of you." said Yami.

"B-Bye!"

"See ya!"

"We're in!" said Kemo's goons as Tristan had a metal rod in his hands while Paige had Yugi's baseball bat.

"Oh no." said Tea.

"Bring it on!" groaned Tristan, being pushed back by Kemo and a few of his goons. The other goons were chasing after Paige who then starts swinging the bat at them.

Just then, the virtual pods starts opening. "Huh? What?" asked Kemo, looking over at the pods.

Joey sleepily sits up, somewhat glaring at them. "Hey, Joey!" said Tristan, smiling at his friend.

Yugi sits up along with Mokuba. "King Spikey!" exclaimed Paige, seeing her brother.

"Yugi! Joey! You're all back!" exclaimed Tea.

"And so's Kaiba." said Yugi. "He's probably getting out of his pod right now."

"No, he cant be." said Kemo.

"And without you guys to guard your bosses, I'd say he's about to kick some butt." Mokuba chimed in.

"Hey, he's right." Kemo said, backing away from Mokuba. "We gotta get back."

"We did it!" cheered Tea as Kemo and his goons ran out.

"Bunch of wimps!" said Tristan.

"They're more than just wimps, Tristan." said Paige, holding onto the bat. "They're cowards too."

"You've brought my baseball bat?" asked Yugi.

"Yeah….for defensive purposes and never to destroy Kaiba Corp property." Paige tells him. "I'm not gonna have Mokuba and Kaiba sue us."

"Never a dull moment with you, Paige." Yugi tells her.

"That's because I'm your one and only baby sister." grinned Paige.

Just then, they heard someone yawning behind them and they turned to see someone getting out of their pod. "Its Mai!" said Mokuba as she walks out to them.

"She was here all along." said Joey.

"In the flesh." Mai said. "Is everything cool?"

"Sure looks that way." said Yugi.

"'Cause of you…all of you." said Mokuba. "So thanks."

"Oh, stop." said Joey, grinning from ear to ear. "Now go on and get out of here already. Your brother probably can't wait to see you."

"Ok. Thanks again, you guys. Bye!" said Mokuba.

"Bye, Mokuba!" they said, leaving the offsite lab.

"Yeah, bye." said Joey. "Now where's the john? I had like seven sodas before we got in those pods."
