Ch 16 The Void Countess's Concert Pt2

Ladybug huffs heavily, her eyes kept on Lancelot as he leaps across the buildings. She follows the Mad Dog of the Roundtable. Unsure what has gotten him in a frenzy.

"I shouldn't expect much, he is called a Berserker for a reason." The bluenette Hero huffs, seeing that the Black Knight has halted his advancements.

The young Hero landed next to Lancelot, curious about what he was doing now. "B-Berserker, why did you stop all of a sudden?" Ladybug asked the Berserker.

Lancelot gave a low growl, scanning the area they were in. "Aaaaahhh…" The Knight responded.

Ladybug sighs, not understanding a word coming from the Mad Dog. "Okay, let's try this. I know that we establish how we communicate back at the abandoned building." She started, "If you sense something, can you let me know? I feel like I'm being left out."

"…" Lancelot took the moment to scan the area, then points to the left.

"Mmm? Over there?" Ladybug turns to where Lancelot was pointing and saw lights in the distance. "That's where Tour Montparnasse is at, what's going on over there?" She asked herself.

"Mmmaaasssstttteeeerrr…." The Berserker leaps down on the building they were on and landed on the streets.

The bluenette was caught off guard by Lancelot's sudden movement. "Seriously? I thought we just had an understatement?" Ladybug sighs, leaping from the building and following the Berserker down the street.

Both Lancelot and Ladybug ran through the streets of Patricius, they stopped when a horde of enemies was blocking their way.

"Shit, they just appeared out of nowhere!" Ladybug cursed, not expecting this many enemies at once.

Lancelot growls loudly, he rushed towards the lamppost and ripped it off from the ground. "AAAAAAARRRRRRRRRRRRTTTTTTHHHHHUUUUURRRRRR!"

The Black Knight charged into the ranks of the Eternal Empire.

Ladybug watched as the Knight of the Roundtable slams the lamppost into the Enemy Programs. He bashed, slashed, and impaled each enemy with no regard for the surrounding area.

Lancelot materializes his gun and starts to shoot at the remaining enemies. He leaps forward and thrust the pole at the last Attack Program blocking their way.

"Berserker," Ladybug saw that the Empire's Forces were taken out with ease.

The Mad Dog of the Roundtable turned to his Ward, dismissing his gun. "Are you okay? That was a lot of enemies for you," Ladybug commented on his solo attack on the enemy.

Lancelot nodded, feeling perfectly fine. "Ahhh…" He answered turning to the area where the Tour Montparnasse was.

"Right, we're at the open, and reinforcements from the Palace will come." The bluenette said to her Guardian. "Let's get going,"

The Berserker nodded as both Modern Hero and Servant headed towards the tower.

A few moments later, Lancelot took out a few more Platoons before stopping near an alleyway. Ladybug leans back on the wall of the alley, "Seems we're getting closer to the Tour Montparnasse by the second." She looks at the flashing lights, curious about what those are. "What's going on over there?" Ladybug asked herself.

Lancelot turned around, sensing a Servant coming over to them. "Ahhhh…" He points to the alleyway next to them.

"Mmmm?" Ladybug turns to the left where the Black Knight was pointing to.

From the alleyway, the bluenette heard footsteps coming from the darkness. "More enemies?" Ladybug went to a defensive position for whoever was coming.

A violet-haired Servant with a spiral arm with a spike at the end. She wore a black-tight suit, square glasses, and a red gem on the center of her chest. The Servant exited from the alleyway, running. "H-Hey, you two over there! You're a Servant and master pair, right? I'm a Servant too and in real trouble with these machines behind following me."

Ladybug flinched, seeing some Cluster Horns coming at them. "T-Those are a lot of enemies,"

"Yes, please assist me!" The Servant asked once more to the master and Servant.

"R-Right, Berserker let's hel-" Lancelot rushed into the fray, he lifted his pole and slammed into the frontal herd of Cluster Horns. He then materialized his gun and barraged the herd with bullets.

The Servant stopped near Ladybug and watched as the Mad Dog eliminate the enemies after her. Soon Lancelot has completely eliminated the herd before coming back to Ladybug.

"That was fast, Berserker." Ladybug commented before giving her attention to the Servant who came to them.

The Servant looks at the two, recollecting herself before speaking. "I appreciate you two helping me. From my view, you two are a Servant and master pair, right?" She asked.

Lancelot wasn't too sure about this Servant, something about her was off. However, Ladybug answered her. "That's right, though Berserker isn't my Servant. I haven't really been a master for long, to be honest, this is new to me."

The Servant nodded, "I see, so he's a bodyguard then." She cleared her throat. "Anyways, since you're technically a master, I presume you're here to save Paris right?"

"That's right, are you a Servant that is also here to save the City?" Ladybug asked, hoping that was the case with the Servant.

"Yes, I'm Alter Ego. But call me Violet, I was recently Summoned into this World." The violet-haired Alter Ego introduced herself to the Hero and Servant of Chaldeans. "By the looks of it, it seems this World is a Dead-End History. So, Humans of this World found themselves in a Dystopian World, eh." She chuckles, sensing the familiarities between the Empire and the Moon Cell.

"That's what Ritsuka said, and from what I saw and experienced, you can say that." The bluenette Hero looks around, the former City of Love. "This isn't the Paris I know and grew up with."

"Anyways, Violet are you here to help restore Humanity?" Ladybug asked the Alter Ego Servant before her.

Violet took the moment to answer, she looked back at the young Hero looking at her. "I'll help you, but I can only do so much without a master." The violet-haired Servant stated.

Ladybug nodded before noticing her Command Seals on her right hand. She looks at the Alter Ego, having a plan. "Then why don't you make me your master? I have Command Seals, and I got the gist of it."

Lancelot paused, glaring at the young bluenette Hero. He finds this High Servant suspicious, the way she appears, and the feeling in his guts. "Aaaaahhh…"

"What's wrong, Berserker?" Ladybug looks at her Guardian, hearing his voice.

"Aaaahhh…" The Berserker held onto the Hero of Creation's shoulders, opposing the idea of her being Violet's master.

"I believe that Berserker is opposed to you being my master." Violet looks away, understanding why the Mad Dog is opposed to the contract. "Being an Alter Ego, it's understandable that he doesn't trust beings of this Class."

Ladybug looks at the Knight of Roundtable, hearing a low growl under his helmet. "Berserker, we just helped her and-"

"It's fine, I'll have to prove to myself that I can be trustworthy." The Alter Ego stated before looking away from the two. "Let's just put the contract on hold…um…"

"Ladybug or Marinette is fine by me." The bluenette introduced herself to the Servant.

Violet nodded, "Very well, Ladybug. Now that we're properly introduced, what's the plan." She asked the Hero of Creation.

Ladybug points to the shining lights above the buildings, "We were heading to the lights over in that direction, Berserker sense his master over there." She explains to the Alter Ego Servant.

"I know a shortcut to your destination," Violet explains, turning to the alleyway behind her. "If you want to get there quickly, we must leave now before more Empire Forces come."

"Okay, Berserker let's go." Ladybug turns to her Guardian who'll be following at the back.

"Aaahhh…" The three rushed into the alleyway, heading to where the lights were shining.

Liz Void Territory

"Alright, our plan is this." Ritsuka looks at the Servants with him. "We have Koyanskaya in a sniper position on the roof, so she'll be taking the final shot against Liz Void." He stated.

"Liz Void? Is that what we're calling her, master?" Sita asked about the nickname he gave the enemy.

Ruler of Paris places her hand over her chin, thinking of the name. "Well, we know her True Name and she's not the Elizabeth Bathory you all know," She commented on the name their master gave this Liz Face. "It's a good name to call this version of her,"

"Umu, umu, if we're finished discussing what we should call the Berserker. We should enact our plan; we won't have another opportunity like this next time." Nero stated, cutting the chatter between all of them.

"Saber's right, let's go," Ritsuka stated, initiating the mission.

"Hai,"

On the surface, Liz Void sang to the captives in the audience. They were all soulless, captured by Liz Void's minions to bring them here.

She waved at the soulless Parisians before her and smiled. "Thank you once again for showing up to my concert! It gives me great joy to know that you all love me!" The Berserker shouted then smirked evilly. "After all, you Humans can't do shit but listen to my songs in this dystopian World-"

Suddenly a loud explosion caused Liz Void to flinch. "What was that? An explosion?" She questions the situation.

"HE-YA!" Liz Void brought her Lance/Mic to block a flaming Sword from a familiar face. "Step aside, Liz. This is my show now!" Nero smirks at the Berserker.

"Oh, it's you, so that explosion was indeed from you Chaldeans." Liz Void eyed three arrows hurling at her. She pushed the Roman Emperor back and slashed at her to gain some space.

Nero leaps back, standing on the left side of the stage.

Liz Void took the moment to scan her territory, seeing Sita and Ritsuka standing in the center of the audience. She turned to the right side of the stage and saw the Counter Guardian landing.

"So you all decided to take me on, how adorable. Don't you know once you attacked me, I immediately requested aid from the others? By now they're already on their way." The Berserker commented, having confidence that they'll be here soon.

"I don't think so," Ritsuka stated, hearing another explosion. "The explosion just now, I'm sure your allies will come for it." He smiles.

Nero held her Sword at the enemy Servant. "Umu, give it up, Elizabeth Bathory Void! You're outnumbered." The Roman Emperor stated.

"Outnumbered? I think you made a grave mistake." Liz Void chuckles before releasing her power for all to see.

Sita flinched, sensing the Magical Energy coming off the from the Berserker. "Master, this power she is emanating,"

"Yeah, Hephaestus Klironomia. Be careful everyone and stick to the plan." Ritsuka shouted, knowing this is the only time to catch her off guard. The next time wouldn't be so easy,

"Got it!" Everyone answered their master, preparing to attack.

Liz Void gave a boastful laughter, looking around her. "Ahahahaha! You are all fools." She spun her Lance, pointing at the master of Chaldea. "You're facing a Servant with the power of a God! I'll kill you for your arrogance!"

The Berserker leaps at Ritsuka and Sita, raising her Lance at him.

"Master!" Ruler tosses her yo-yo at the Inquisitor,

The weapon manages to wrap itself around the Berserker's ankle. The Counter Guardian pulls her back, creating an opening for the Roman Emperor. "Saber, now!"

"Umu!" The blonde Saber dashed forward swinging her flaming blade at the enemy.

"Tch," Liz Void blocked the attack with her Lance. She spun around, letting her tail slam into her.

Nero swiftly brought her Sword to her front, and Liz's tail slams her back to the audience. She gains her footing, now standing with her master.

Liz Void placed her foot down and pulled in Ruler,

The bluenette Hero tried to resist the tug, but she was ultimately pulled in. "GAH!" She cried, hurling towards the Berserker.

"Hahahaha!" Liz Void laughs maniacally, adjusting her Lance for the incoming Servant. "See? This is your foolishness at your finest-"

"Archer!" Ritsuka cried out as a yellow arrow knocked Liz Void's Lance from her hand.

Ruler lets go of her yo-yo, catching herself before jumping away to safety. The bluenette landed just at the corner of the stage, watching carefully for any surprise attacks from the enemy. 'She's tough,' She thought.

Sita made the initiative and went for an attack. "Take this!" She shot many arrows at the enemy.

Liz Void grins, launching herself into the arrows. "Is this the power of the saviors of Humanity?" She mocks the Chaldeans, finding them easy for her.

The Berserker was going to strike the master of Humanity when Nero blocked her attack. "Like I'll let you harm my Preator!" Nero cried out and pushed her back. "Archer!"

"Hai!" Sita pulled back her bow tightly and released a powerful attack.

Liz Void knocked the arrow away, now hurling at the crowd. "Heh," She smirks at the deflected attack, now hurling at an innocent bystander.

Ritsuka quickly turns to the bystander, "NO!"

Ruler dashed over, spinning her yo-yo to shield the rogue arrow. The arrow was dismantled upon contact with the shield. "Ruler!" The bluenette heard her master calling to her.

She turned her head, seeing Nero getting into combat with the Liz Void. Sita was assisting by giving cover whenever the Berserker was about to strike.

'This isn't going anywhere.' Ruler looks above the roofs,

Koyanskaya was trying to aim for Liz Void but was unable to due to Nero still in combat. The Fox noticed the Counter Guardian looking at her,

The Alter Ego shook her head, showing three fingers at her. She got up and went to another position for a better angle.

The bluenette Hero nodded and rushed over to her master, needing to pass the message. "Master,"

"Ruler, what is it?" Ritsuka looks at the Counter Guardian.

"Master, the Fox can't get a shot on the Berserker." Ruler informed the master of Chaldea what Koyanskaya signal her. "If we don't get her in the desired position to snipe her Spirit Origins, we have to abandon the mission"

Ritsuka nodded, taking what his Secretary and Counter Guardian suggestion to heart. She looks at Ruler, wanting to know her view on this mission. "What do you think?"

The bluenette Hero sighs, looking around her. "We're at a disadvantage, we're fighting cautiously due to the hostages,"

"I figured as much; I thought if we take Liz Void quickly, we can save everyone." Ritsuka held his head, finding their situation to be difficult. He took a deep breath and looked at both Sita and Nero struggling to get Liz Void to Koyanskaya's shot.

Ruler of Paris nodded, looking at the Alter Ego's new spot. She saw the frustrated expression she had in her previous spot.

She then looks at where Nero and Sita are struggling just to move the Inquisitor of the Eternal Empire. "If we don't get her to where the Fox needs her to be in the next three or so minutes,"

"I know,"

Nero thrust her Sword at her Altered rival, but she was quick to move out of the way. "Tch," She clicked her tongue at the failed strike.

"HAHAHAHA!" Liz Void crackles as she slashed at the rouge arrows by the Queen of Kosla before attacking the Roman Emperor.

The Saber Face gasps, pulling her Sword up to prevent a serious injury to her. "GAH!" Nero was slashed back with Liz Void's enhanced strength.

Her eyes then laid on Sita, indicating she was her next target. "Here I come, Archer. You're a pain on my side ever since I got Summoned here," Liz Void dashed forward, thrusting her Lance at Sita.

Suddenly bullets were shot at her, causing her to deflect them. "Tch, I figured there was a sniper." The Berserker saw Koyanskaya standing on the rooftop, revealing her position.

"Tch, what a wasted move," Koyanskaya clicked her tongue at her compromised position.

Sita shot back arrows, and push the Berserker back. "This isn't going as planned." She huffs,

Nero shook off the damage she took before glaring at the Berserker. "Umu, we need a better plan."

Liz Void laughs, slashing in the air and causing a shockwave to unbalance the Chaldeans. "Like I let you all escape." She grins, "I'll kill you here and now so the Emperor of-"

(Insert Eda's Requiem (Duet)

Before Liz Void could continue, music started to play in the background. She gasps, staggering while standing. "W-Wha-"

"This music; is it-" Ritsuka quickly turns around to see a violinist with light brown hair. He wore a black trench coat with golden crosses on the small cape around his shoulder and cuffs. He also wore a silver cross on his neck.

He played the violin, causing the Berserker to be stunned. Next to him was another man in a teal snake Superhero outfit and dyed teal hair. His hands gracefully played the lyre sharing the same design and color as his outfit.

Nero smiles, listening to the gentle yet sad music. She then turns to Liz Void, seeing that the music has some effect on her. "Preator! Liz Void is weakening, we can attac-"

"No, though our combine attack weakens the Berserker of the Void; we can't play this long." The Archer points to the Snake-themed Hero.

Ruler instantly recognized the Hero, sensing that he was no Servant. He's similar to Bunnyx, a Living Hero. "Master, we need to make a quick retreat."

"Got it," Ritsuka signals everyone, indicating it's time to leave.

Everyone saw their master's signal and proceeded to follow his order. "This way, through that alley!" The Snake-themed Hero called out to the Chaldeans.

Everyone quickly followed the Hero's call and rushed to the alley.

Liz Void gasps, growling at the two musicians playing that cursed tune. "D-Damn…you." She watches as they leave the scene, still playing the music. (End Song)

Somewhere in the alleyway, Ladybug, Violet, and Lancelot ran through the tight alley heading to where the lights were flashing. "We're almost to the area with the lights," Violet informed the two Heroes.

Ladybug looks up, seeing they are getting closer to the Tour Montparnasse. "You're right, what's going on over-" Suddenly there was an explosion nearby causing everyone to look.

"Was that an explosion?" Ladybug asked, seeing the smoke from the other side of the buildings. "It's coming from the other side of the buildings."

Lancelot growls before turning to the end of the alleyway. "Ahhh…" The Berserker points to the end, gaining the others' attention.

Violet looks at the Berserker, hearing his call. "Berserker, what is it?" The Alter Ego paused, hearing some footsteps behind them. "Servants, two of them."

The group looks at the incoming Servants, Ladybug saw that Lancelot wasn't on guard. "Wait, it must be our allies who's coming!" Ladybug informed the Servant they met.

"Allies?" Violet looks at the dark alley where Charlie and Xu Fu came out of the shadows.

"Mar-Ladybug! Berserker!" Charlie smiles, seeing some of their allies safe. "I'm glad you both are safe!" The former Servant greeted them.

Xu Fu looks at the King of France, seeing his expression. "S-Saber, you know these people?" She asked her ally.

Charlie nodded, confirming the Alchemist's question. "Yes, just two out of many, Alter Ego." He looks back at the three, noticing the violet-haired Servant. "And it seems that you've encountered a new ally."

Ladybug smiles, turning to Violet. "Yes, this is Alter Ego." She introduced their new alley to two of the Chaldean Servants.

The tall Servant inclined her head, "Please, call me Violet." The Alter Ego introduced herself.

She then noticed the petite Servant next to her former King. "And you did too, Charlie."

"Yes, Ritsuka Summoned two more allies to help us." The King of the Franks turns to Xu Fu, "We also got some more allies distracting the Eternal Empire."

"So we got more allies joining us?" Ladybug smiles, happy to have some more help. "That's great news. More people are willing to help us take down the Empire." She looks at the new Hero standing with the King.

"It's nice to meet you, Alter Ego…another Alter Ego, huh." Ladybug commented, seeing two same-classed Servants with them. "Well, the more the merrier."

Xu Fu cleared her throat, turning to the alley. "We better regroup with master and the others," She stated, "By now, they probably succeeded in defeating the Berserker of the Void."

"Wait, they're fighting a member of the Imperial Inquisitors?" The bluenette Hero asked, wondering if Adrien was with them.

Violet looked at the Hero of Creation, "Ladybug, I believe questions will be answered later." She informed the Living Hero. "Best we should follow them and talk there,"

Lancelot nodded, approving what the Alter Ego stated.

Ladybug agreed, seeing that was the reasonable decision they have, "Okay, Charlie?"

"Follow us, Berserker take the rear." Charlie lead the group down the alleyway, heading to the rendezvous that they all decided.
