Summer 10
The day moves by slowly as Harvey is working on Evelyn. Elliot bursts in through the door with Shane in tow. "Oh Dr.Harvey we got a rumor to discuss with you!" Shane slowly moves over next to Elliot, his voice husk "ya… are you and farmer Dorie a thing?" His holds up two fingers and close the gap between them signifying that they're together. Elliot raises an eyebrow as they both stare at Harvey while he tends to Evelyn. Harvey calls out to Maru as Evelyn smiles at him "so… you and the farmer.." Harvey finishes up Evelyn and sends her off and looks at Elliot and Shane. Elliot crosses his arms as he stares down Harvey "so what is it? Does Dorie make you feel *young* again?" Harvey stares down Elliot in return firing back "I would prefer not to discuss the age situation. The way she makes me feel… It reminds me of of the first time I was ever called *Doctor*" Elliot'S eyebrow raises higher as he frowns "you're gonna have to explain it to us Doc, this sounds like nsfw with only the light context I have." Harvey quickly raises his hands in defense "No Elliot! Please just let me explain. Please do not put that out there." Harvey slowly closes his fingers as he smiles "Before taking over the clinic, I did my residency at Zuzu medical hospital. I help someone during my 5th year there and she actually was really attractive." Elliot points at Shane "Shane demands the whole story!" Shane mumbles "I didn't ask." Harvey huffs as he begins to tell his story. "Resident number five!" Harvey sighs as he holds his clipboard and mumbles to himself "One day Harvey" He moves his hand to his waist as he looks at the doctor "yes doctor!" The doctor glares over at Harvey "go cover nurse Claire up front five!" Harvey looks annoyed "yes doctor." In the waiting room there are two girls, one sitting down, and her friend next to her. Her friend has straighten purple hair down to her shoulders, and is wearing a beautiful slick knee length black dress, her gold hoops sparkle like the bracelets she wears…. she moves her hand over her friend's shoulder "Stay put, im gonna go fetch a doctor." Harvey moves to the desk as he looks at the receptionist "Hello I'm here to cover for nurse Claire." He glances down at the clipboard, as he does someone calls out for a doctor. He looks up and sees this young girl standing in front of him "uh, are you talking to me?" She holds her hands up and replies "s…sorry.. you're the only doctor here" she moves her hand to her arm and gently rubs it as she looks at him worried "my friend is having a hard time breathing, we've been here for an hour, and her breathing is getting worse." she tilts her head to the side "she really needs to be seen." Harvey looks at her with concern "An hour?! Grab her and follow me." After he takes care of her friend, they move outside the girl's room. He holds his clipboard close as he looks down at her "Alright your friend seems to be doing well." She crosses her arms as she smiles at him "thank you so much." He smiles back "well you know, *do no harm.*" She points at him "Oh! The Hippopotamus Oath." He grins at her "what?" Her smile turns to a grin as she rests her hand on his shoulder "Sorry about that, I may have had a few drinks tonight!" Her eyes soften as she stares sweetly at Harvey, as his eyes close he responses with "It's fine! I think I needed the laugh." As they open, he takes in her beauty. She squeezes his shoulder "You know… I would really like to thank you properly. what's your name?" They both begin to blush as he tells her his name "I'm ha-." He interrupted by the Doctor "RESIDENT FIVE!" The doctor glares at Harvey with a cold stare as he called him over "Get over here right now!" They both look worried as she moves her hand away from him. He glances at her as she smiles back "Well I really appreciate what you did for my friend. Thank you doctor." He turns to her and smiles "You're the only one to acknowledge that I'm a doctor here." He walks away slowly as he approaches the doctor, unbeknownst to him she looks at him her smiles never fade. Harvey finishes his story with "then I got reprimanded and reminded that someone could have died on my watch." Elliot holds onto Shane as he is teary eyed "you poor thing." Harvey sighs as he looks down "I just hope she didn't hear any of it, but that is what I mean by how Dorie makes me feel." With their questions being answered Elliot and Shane walk out of the clinic as they do they walk towards Dorie. She gives them a smile "woah hold up, is this a crossover episode?" She points her finger at Shane and Elliot. Shane walks over and glances down at the cup "you're not funny, stop trying. Is that coffee?" She replies "yes, this is for Harvey." Shane raises his eyebrow at her. Elliot comes over with a smile "Now that's perfect timing. We just came from the clinic. We may have tired him out a bit. He should be in his apartment." Dorie rushes past them quickly as she goes through the doors of the clinic and makes her way up to Harvey's apartment. As she enters, Harvey has his headphones on. He looks to be trying to contact a plane "AH, 52 North, 43.5 East." Her grin never leaves "Harvard!" He turns around smiling brightly "Dorie come quick, we may be able to see the plane I just got in contact with!" He puts his headphones down as he wrap an arm around Dorie's shoulder and points to the plane. "There it is! I spoke to a real pilot!" She looks up smiling "that's really cool Harvey." She continues "I have all day and a coffee for you. Tell me everything about it." He blush spreads as he smiles, he begins to get butterflies as he gently squeeze her shoulder. After they talk for a bit Harvey glances down at Dorie "careful, it sounds like you only came here to bully me." She puts her hand on her hip as she glance up at him with a smirk "you wish I'd bully you. You and your old man hobbies." Shes smiles at him as he frowns "I am an old man Dorie… I'm surprised someone as young as you wants to be around me." She raises her eyebrow as she turns to him frowning "wait a minute, how old are you Harvey?" He glances to the side and closes his eyes "I'm 35." She stares at him annoyed a bit as she puts her hands together in front of her "Harvey I'm 29 and you of all people should know that. Don't act like you're gonna catch a case." She moves her hands down as she smiles "I like your *old man* hobbies and your 10pm bedtimes during the weeknights. If it wasn't a problem I wouldn't be here now would I?" His frown turns to a soft smile "I hurt your feelings again… didnt I." She looks at him softly "and you called me a bully!" He moves his arm around her shoulder "Oh what a terrible doctor I am." She snickers a bit "horrible." They smile at each other and begin to blush. They look into each others eyes as it feels like time slows a bit. The warm feeling engulfs them both, a feeling that seems new and exciting. After a bit of time goes by Dorie leaves Harvey's place as she begin to head to the mines she spots Sam "hey farmer Dorie." She stops and turns to him "hey Sam." He smiles as he puts his hand into a fist and then uses his other hand to clench it. "Real quickly, my mom want you to stop telling Vincent that's your gonna eat him because your a witch. I think it's funny, the guys thinks it funny. He's literally *home alone* the house." Dorie tries her best to hold in her laughter but fails to do so as she grabs her knees, bursting like a balloon. "Holy shit, that's hilarious! O..okay I'll stop." She moves up as she wipes her tears away, Sam can't help but snicker with her "thank you." She turns away "alrighty then, I'm going to the mines." Sam places a hand on his chest "be careful farmer Dorie." She glances back at him "oh I won't." She makes her way into the mine, as she makes her way to the ladder she points. "Alright, this is between you and me you old mine!" She begins her decent down into the mines, clearing the floors one by one. She starts collecting iron and coal, killing off the bats and bugs. in the process she gets scraped up and bruised a bit, then she spots a yellowish rock, as she swings her pickaxe down it bursts open to reveal topaz. Dorie picks it up and puts it in her pocket. As her health and energy drain, she decides to go up reaching level 45 at least. She walks back to her farm after her excursion. She shakes her hands a bit, tears forming in the corner of her eyes "oh poor little Dorie working away in the mines like a poor child." Her eyeline makes it to her crops as her expression changes to pissed off "yo who the fuck are you?" A tall green witch stands there as she begins to curse her crops. Dorie yells out "HEY! You leave my crops alone!" As the witch puckers her lips she stares Dorie down and snickers a bit as she continues. "HEY! I told you to knock it off!" Dorie grumbles as she remembers the topaz in her pocket, she reaches in and holds it into her hand. "It may have been awhile but I ain't that rusty." She holds it as she counters the witch's spell. The witch holds her hands up and stares at the crops "oop." The witch quickly turns to face Dorie pointing over at her "what a minute, you're a witch?" The witch snaps her finger as she changes forms, from her green like appearance to her normal attire. She also teleports right in front of Dorie. "Now we can talk." As she smiles at Dorie, the farmer passes out onto the floor. With a wag of her finger the witch brings Dorie into her house and levitates her into her bed. After a bit of waiting, Dorie stirs as she groans. The witch comes over and looks down at her "hey… you're finally awake. I'm sorry for cursing your crops out there. My exes friend who helped him cheat on my used to live here. But hey, that counter spell you did was pretty impressive. If you ever want any pointers you can come visit me at my cave whenever you want." The witch smile softly as she disappears, it takes Dorie a minute to process the information she just got. She looks at Peaches as she groans out "what the fuck grandpa…" Peaches moves closer and curls up next to Dorie purring softly as rests for the night. Dorie gently pets her as she sighs exhausted and closes her eyes as she finally drifts off to sleep.
