Husk rushed through the Elevator Station with Charlie and Vaggie following close behind, pleading to the old cat to slow down. "Hazel! Hazel, are you alright?" Husk panted, "Are you hurt?" "We're fine, dad. Just a bit… shaken up." Hazel explained, "I just… I don't even understand how the hell she found us." Husk wrapped his arms around the young imp as she cuddled up to him and let out a frustrated groan, fighting back tears. "It's gonna be alright, sweetheart," Husk whispered, "It's gonna be alright. I'm here, Lil' Lop… I'm here."

"What are we going to do?" Hazel cried, "We don't really have anywhere else to go. And my aunt just drove us out of our home with her absolute insanity!" Bucky and Dalilah came over with the family's luggage; Bucky came over, sat down his suitcase, and brought Hazel into his arms. "There, there, love. It'll be okay. We'll be fine, you'll see."

"Bucky's right," Husk nodded, "And, besides, it's not like you truly have nowhere to go." "Normally, I'd be inclined to agree with ya, Husker," Dalilah sighed, "Unfortunately, I'm pretty sure that… fruitcake wouldn't have much trouble tracking them down at the Jackpot. But, I mean… fuck, where else can they go?"

"You could come and stay with us for a while." The group turned to see Charlie and Vaggie walking up, offering friendly smiles as they came over. "I know you're not sinners, but you're still citizens of Hell. Not to mention, you're Husk's family. So, we at least want to offer you guys a couple of rooms to stay in for a few days until you find something more permanent."

"And… who are you?" Dalilah asked, pointing at the two girls. "Hazel, Dalilah, Buck, meet Princess Charlie Morningstar and her partner Vaggie," Husk said with a smile, "Owners and overseers of the Hazbin Hotel." "Great, another blueblood." Hazel sighed, "I think I'd just as soon take my chances squatting with my uncles. At least they have guns." Vaggie and Charlie exchanged confused looks as Husk chuckled, placing his hand on Hazel's shoulder and said, "I understand how you feel, but it's only for a couple of days. Plus, Alastor's going to be away for the next few of days, so neither of us will have to deal with him for at least a little while."

Hazel smiled at that, chuckling and gave a nod. "Well, alright, dad. But you'll have to play mediator between me and your… boss if he comes back early." Husk laughed and said, "Fair enough. Let's get out of here." "Yeah, no shit," Bucky groaned, "Preferably a 'fore that nut-job manages to track us down again." Vaggie and Husk each grabbed one of the suitcases while Bucky grabbed the last two and followed Charlie back to the limo. "Well, on the bright side, least we'll be traveling in style." Bucky chuckled, "I've always wanted to ride in a fancy limousine."

"Yep, scratch that one off your bucket list." Husk chuckled, loading the last suitcase into the limo. "Alright, let's go, people!" Dalilah said, clapping her hands, "The sooner y'all get going, the sooner I can get heading on back to the farm."

"You sure you won't come with us, Li?" Husk asked, "There's plenty of rooms to spare. It's not like the farm can't survive without you for one day." "Sorry, Husker, but we both know damn good and well that there's very little time for anything outside of working when ya run a dairy farm. Plus, I won't be alone. The other kids and their kin are coming to lend me a hand fer a few days while Hazel and Bucky lay low with y'all."

Dalilah, Bucky, Hazel and Husk exchanged a few quick hugs and kisses goodbye before Dalilah headed off back into the elevator to return to Wrath while the others filed into the limo and took off for the hotel. The ride back was pretty quiet; the group tried to make small talk, but nobody was really sure what to talk about. "So, uh… Hazel," Vaggie called, "Do you ever fly?"

Hazel chuckled and nodded, saying, "I don't fly much nowadays. But, when I was younger, dad and I flew pretty much anywhere and everywhere we could. Hell, who do you think taught me how to fly?" "Well, I can't take all the credit," Husk said, rubbing the back of his neck with an awkward chuckle, "I mean, yeah, it was mostly just the two of us, but Sugar Cube helped out a lot early on. I don't think I would've ever gotten you off the ground without her."

"I heard that Lust Ring imps, succubae and incubi can fly pretty much from birth." Charlie noted. "And you believed that?" Hazel snickered. Charlie blushed, ready to apologize when Hazel just laughed and said, "Don't worry about it, princess. The truth is, we can flap our wings from birth; some can even get a few inches off the ground as young as a few days old. But it takes much more than that to get off the ground without just, you know… crashing back down after a few seconds."

"It takes technique," Vaggie added, "And practice. Lots of practice." Husk smiled, crossing his arms and giving a slight nod as he leaned back in his seat. "Hey, maybe we can go for a little flight together sometime." "Maybe." Hazel smiled, "We'll see. I mean, I've been feeling a bit off lately; morning sickness, you know?" Vaggie groaned and facepalmed, saying, "Oh, that's right. Shit, I can't believe I forgot. Oh… that is awkward." Hazel just waived it off and said, "It's fine, Vaggie. It's not like I can't fly, I'm just not sure if I'm really up for it right now. But, I do like the idea, so… maybe one day." Vaggie smiled gratefully at the imp and said, "Of course. I'd like that."

As the group pulled up to the hotel, Hazel gasped as Bucky opened the door and saw Alastor standing outside. "I thought you said he was off on business." Hazel whispered. "Yeah, I did. I thought he'd already left." Husk defended, "Maybe his plans got canceled… again." "Ooh… um, I think this might be my fault." Charlie cringed; Husk turned to Charlie in horror as Charlie continued, "I didn't know Hazel coming here was supposed to be a secret."

"Hazel… Bucky, welcome." Alastor greeted, glancing over at Husk and said, "Husker… Charlie, Vaggie. Welcome back. Can I help with any bags?" "No, no, it's fine." Bucky assured, grabbing two of the three suitcases before offering Hazel his tail to help her out of the limo, "You got the last one, Mr. H?"

"Ugh… yep," Husk groaned, hefting the third suitcase before sliding out of the vehicle and helping Charlie and Vaggie out, "Come on; I'll get you guys set up with a room. Then we can talk about what we're gonna do for dinner." "Works for me," Charlie smiled, "You all go ahead. I'll catch up in a minute." Charlie grabbed Alastor by his wrist as he turned and went to follow the others and said, "Alastor, wait." Alastor twisted his head around to face Charlie and huffed, asking, "Can I help you, princess?"

"Alastor, look," Charlie took a deep breath and sighed, "I'm not sure what's going on between you and Husk, but… I don't really care. I didn't tell you about this so you could give Husk a hard time; I told you because I thought you'd be able to help. This isn't about you or Husk; it's about Hazel. Now, if you can be nice, then great. But if not, please just… go. Go on your trip and just leave us be."

"Princess, I really don't," "I'm serious, Alastor." Charlie snapped; Alastor's eyes widened as Charlie continued, "If you won't do it for me, and you won't do it for Husk… do it for Hazel." Alastor stared at Charlie as she walked around him, pausing and said, "If you want Hazel to start thinking better of you, you have to start acting better. Like you actually care about her and what she wants. Think about it, okay, Al?" And with that, Charlie dashed off to catch up with the others, leaving Alastor alone to ponder.
