Iris had Carolines help to get ready for her date. Other than the Yule ball this was her first actual date. Telling this to Care had her going crazy. Everything had to be perfect according to her. Iris thought she was kind of crazy, she loved her anyway. Care and the twins had reservations for six so they weren't able to be there when Nik showed up. Iris thought that was a good thing, they wouldn't be able to interrogate him.

Arriving in the lobby, Iris spotted Nik quickly. Very punctual. Walking towards him, Iris kept her footsteps light, Nik must have sensed her because he turned before she had made it to him. Merlin, he looked amazing. The suit he had on was obviously made for him. At least her view for the night would be good.

Nik walked up to Iris when she paused, meeting her halfway. "You look beautiful luv" he said quietly while taking her hand and kissing it. Iris hope she hid her blush but she could feel it so she probably didn't.

Iris smiled up at Nik, "Good evening. What do you have planned for us" she asked. Nik held his arm out for her to take and they walked towards the car he had waiting on them. Riding through New York City at night was amazing on its own but riding with Nik in a car that cost more than most houses, it made it that much better.

The car pulled up to a very elegant restaurant, walking through the doors, they looked to be in another world. Iris gasped at the decor, "This is amazing" she whispered. Nik smiled at her and followed the hostess to the table. Nik ordered a wine that Iris couldn't even pronounce and dinner was chef's choice.

Throughout the dinner they talked a little about everything. Family seemed to be a hard topic for both. Iris told Nik how her parents died and that she was living with her uncles, how they moved to Virginia to get away from the horrible people back home. Granted she couldn't tell him exactly the truth but she told him as close as she could.

Nik talked about his family, how he and his siblings had a love hate relationship. He told Iris that it had been years since he had seen his elder brother. Iris could tell he left a lot out but she didn't bother him on it. Family was a difficult topic for both it seemed.

Dinner finished, Nik told Iris he had another thing for them to do. Getting back into the amazing car, they drove the streets of New York. The car slowed, pulling up in front of The Met. Iris looked confused, she was pretty sure this place had closed for the night. Nik got out of the car and held a hand out for Iris.

Confused, Iris asked, "Isn't the museum closed. I could have swore it closed at eight"

Nik smiled at her, "The museum closes to the public at eight, we are not the public luv"

Iris laughed at him, that was kind of cheesy but really sweet. Walking through the museum, Iris had her own personal tour guide with Nik. The man seemed to know everything about this place. While they were walking through the artwork Iris had her eye caught by one painting, it looked like a castle burning. Iris could only think of Hogwarts. Emotions tried to overwhelm her but she shoved them down where they belonged. Not here tonight.

Finishing up the museum tour, Nik took her back to her hotel. Iris knew that her friends would be back by now so she decided to be brave. "Would you like to come up and meet my friends?"

Nik looked surprised by her request, "If you're sure then yes, I would love that"

They made it up to the room and Iris knocked, she didn't want to walk in on anything scarring. Fred was the one to open the door. The smile on his face when he seen it was Iris grew when he seen that she had brought her date back. "Come in, make yourself comfortable" George was the next one who seen who Fred was talking to.

"Now who do we have here, is this the mysterious Nik" George asked. Both of the twins were grinning, ear to ear.

Care came into the main room, "Is Iris back, its getting really late I didn't think she would stay outtttt" she trailed off when she seen Iris and her date. "Well at least he was a gentleman and walked you to the door. Care grinned like a shark.

Iris shook her head at them all, "Be nice or I won't take you on anymore trips" she said sternly.

Introductions were done throughout the room. Making themselves comfortable they hung out and talked for the rest of the night. Nik finally left around three in the morning. Iris walked him to the elevator when he left, "I had an amazing night, thank you for taking me"

Nik smiled at Iris, putting one hand on her waist and the other on her neck, he waited for her to okay him going further. Once he received the nod he was looking for he leant down and kissed her. It wasn't just a simple kiss, Iris felt her magic go haywire and moaned into it. Nik taking this as a green flag, moved his hand from her hip to her thigh, lifting it to mold around his hip. Iris felt how much he enjoyed kissing her with this move. Iris had never done this but it seemed her body knew what to do next, subtly moving her hips she threw her arms around Niks neck and they were both lost to the kiss. Iris never that kissing could feel like this. Finally coming back to their senses Nik slowed the kiss, nipping at her lips then down her neck. Pulling away he gave her one final kiss and put her leg back down.

Iris looked at Nik with swollen lips and hazy eyes, Nik didn't look much better. "I will call you tomorrow luv, I would like to see you again before you head home"

Iris nodded, trying to get her voice to work she finally told him, "I would like that. I'll wait on your call"

Nik gave her one more kiss and then took the elevator down. Iris made it back to her room and shut the door behind her. As soon as she turned around she seen three faces staring at her. "AAAAAHHHHH you totally made out with him" Caroline screamed while the boys laughed.

Iris was able to see Nik again before they left for home, he took all of them to lunch and out sightseeing. Iris loved spending her last day in New York with him and her friends. Iris honestly didn't want to head home without him, neither did her magic.

"Maybe you can come visit me soon" Iris told Nik.

Nik smiled at her, "I would love to visit you, I just realized though that you never told me where in Virginia you lived" he looked at her.

Iris looked confused, "I didn't? Well you might need that to visit" she laughed, "I live in Mystic Falls, Virginia, a blink and you'll miss it kind of town. Its a cute place though"

"I will definitely make my way there, if only to see you again" Nik told her.

Iris kissed Nik one more time before finally having to leave. The quartet left Nik and started their drive back home. Iris hoped it wouldn't be too long before she got to see Nik again.
