Iris, Fred, and George were waiting at the door of the hospital for visiting hours to start. Liz had told them that the doctors were going to wake her up this morning and they weren't going to miss it. As soon as the clock struck eight, they were in her room. No nurse could make them leave now. Iris decided that Care deserved to wake up to fresh skin and hair, doing the hair was easy with a little magic but she did her face the normal way.

Iris had just finished the facial and was wiping Care's face when Liz walked in with the doctor. She must not have thought anyone would be there because she had to pause and look at what she was seeing. Iris was sat on the side of Carolines bed while the twins had pulled chairs to each side and were holding her hands.

Liz smiled at all of them and looked to Iris, "Iris, the doctors need to get near the bed to wake her up." Fred and George moved their chairs out of the way but Iris didn't move.

"Let me finish wiping her face, she would kill me if I let her wake up like this" Iris tells them, almost finished. Standing, Iris walked over to be next to the twins. They were all ready for Care to be with them again.

Iris felt her phone vibrate, she knew who it was. He had been calling and texting her since Siri had told him what happened. Iris had focused so completely on Care that she forgot to take care of herself. It had gotten so bad that they thought she was going to be hurt because she had a one track mind and it wasn't on her health. None of her family could get through to her, the twins weren't in much better state, so Siri and Remy called Nik.

Since they had visited New York, Iris and Nik had spoke everyday. That he hadn't heard from her in two days he was ready to raze the state to find out what happened. Having met Caroline, Nik understood the close relationship between the girls. It was a sibling bond without the blood. By the end of their conversation Nik had threatened if he didn't hear from her once a day he would call in the National Guard.

Iris didn't realize how important he had become to her in such a short time.

Nik: How are you today Luv? Any word on Caroline yet?

Iris: I'm doing okay. They are actually about to wake her up!

Nik: Call me after she wakes, I would like to hear your voice and to check on Caroline.

Iris: I will, promise XOXO

Between Iris, Fred and George, Liz couldn't tell who was staring at Caroline the hardest. All three of them were unblinkingly staring at her, waiting on her daughters eyes to open.

Liz sees now how much her daughter means to these three young people. Watching Iris breakdown like she did tore Liz apart. She's so happy her daughter has people like them in her life.

It took almost ten minutes.

Caroline's eyes open, blinking roughly at the brightness of the room, she recognizes that she's in a hospital. The car wreck is the last thing she can recall. Looking to the faces around the room, Caroline begins to cry. Her last thoughts had been that she would never see the people she loved again. Her sister in all but blood and her two lovers. She sees her mom standing by the doctor.

A sniffle brings her attention back to Iris. Is her best friend really crying? Dear God, just how bad had she been if Iris is crying. Liz walks up and gives her a kiss on the forehead, "I'll give you some time" she follows the doctor out.

Fred and George go to the sides of her bed, "Hey love" "How are you" "feeling we thought" "we were going" "to lose" "you" they tell her, leaning down to kiss her. Caroline feels her bed shift and sees Iris climb on.

"You are never allowed to leave me again" Iris tells her, laying her head on Care's stomach. Shaking startles Care, Iris is crying so hard she is moving the bed.

Looking between Fred and George, Care asks, "What exactly happened to me" they both look concerned at answering, neither wanting to bring it up when Iris does.

"You almost died. You would have died" Iris whispers. Care is shocked, what did she mean. The doctors didn't seem all that shocked at her waking up. Looking back to the twins, the question was in her eyes.

"We're not really sure what Iris did but she tapped into her powers" "She shook the earth so much that they're calling it an abnormal earthquake" "Then she turned to shadows and disappeared, later coming out of your room" "Care they didn't think you would make it before she did whatever she did" Caroline sat in stunned silence. She pulled the twins on the bed beside her and made sure Iris was there too.

"Thank you Iris" she whispered.

"You're not allowed to leave me, ever Caroline Forbes" Iris replied.

Liz walked back into the room, surprised at the amount of people on the bed. Smiling at them, she told Caroline, "I was so worried when I got that phone call. Honestly Caroline, that's my worst nightmare. I don't think I would have made it through all of this without Iris and your boyfriends"

"You're okay with me being with both Fred and George" Caroline clarifies to her mom.

Liz takes a deep breath, "After everything I've witnessed these past few days I couldn't be happier" she says, smiling.

They had laid there and talked for a bit before Iris remembered, "We have to make two calls" Care looks really confused at this.

Siri and Remy pop up on the phone, Care realizes they're the call. They all talk for a bit and she thanks them for making the others take care of themselves. Sirius makes sure to tell Iris, Fred and George that they have to come home and sleep, they finish the call. Care looks at them all suspiciously.

"We had to be physically removed from the hospital" George begins, "But Iris is the one who had to be held back from removing others" Fred adds, smiling.

Iris blushes and pouts, "Not my fault the Scooby Gang couldn't get the hint" Care starts laughing, just imagining little Iris trying to take on all of them.

Iris is done with this conversation so she picks up her phone and dials the next person, "Caroline, I'm glad to see you're finally awake. Please don't ever do that again, these three would never make it without you" Nik tells her, getting a watery laugh out of her. They finish the call and Iris promises to call him later.

The hospital visiting hours are over and Iris, Fred and George are being kicked out. They try to talk the staff into letting them stay longer but Caroline tells them to go home and get sleep. She will call them as soon as she wakes up and they can come back. Dejected, they head home.

Fred and George have to literally carry Iris into the house when they get home. Sirius and Remus take her from them, tucking her into bed. The boys had stumbled up the stairs to go to bed, coming out of Iris's room, Sirius grabs Fred while Remus grabs George. Luckily they grabbed them before they could pass out, taking them to bed too. The two men followed suit and went to bed as well.

None of them had any idea of what was happening a few miles away from them.
