Chapter 01: The Big Reveal
Yahoo! Velvet's Revenge is back after a few years hiatus from doing fanfictions and I'm happy to say it feels great to be writing them again. Anyways, here's the first chapter of "Love Always Conquers All" and I'm hoping everyone enjoys reading this chapter. Please read or review on what you thought about this?

Heavy snowfall was covering Tokyo, but for Sakura Kinomoto and Tomoyo Daidouji it enlightened their moods because of getting themselves engaged. Also, it was made memorable by proposing in front of Meiling Li who's always interfering with their relationship.
"Hard to believe we're engaged!" Sakura squealed.
"Would you stop squealing? I'm nearly getting hysterical here. I'm afraid to say the hard work is about to begin shortly." Tomoyo explained.
"What are you talking about?" Sakura wondered.
"First thing will be telling our friends and family about being engaged, picking a location for our wedding obviously, having our wedding dresses all sorted for the big day, sending out the invitations, finding a good catering firm to handle everything food and drink related and lots more." Tomoyo answered and probably knew someday they'll require some help to achieve the wedding of their dreams.
"How do we go about telling everyone?" Sakura enquired.
"Maybe having a friendly gathering at my place could work?" Tomoyo suggested and Sakura replied with "It sounds like a good idea!" before heading towards their destination.
Over in Hamarikyu Gardens, Meiling was still awestruck by having just seen a couple she dislikes getting engaged and knowing her personality was already thinking of revenge. Meanwhile, someone who'd seen everything from afar approached Meiling to see if she's feeling alright?
"Are you feeling alright?" The stranger asked.
"Do I look alright? I'm mortified all because of two females having the audacity of proposing right in front of me. Both attend Tomoeda Academy and go by the names of Tomoyo Daidouji and Sakura Kinomoto. Do you happen to know them from somewhere?" Meiling questioned.
"Oh, yeah! I know them well and all because of them betraying our friendship code after I discovered they liked each other. From that day I've dreamed on getting my revenge on them." The stranger answered.
"How are you planning on doing that? Only because all the ideas I've tried using against them have failed miserably. All the typical methods have been used like spreading rumours around the academy, sabotaging any dates they planned and almost getting them expelled for stuff that I'd done towards other people." Meiling acknowledged.
"How about changing the way your ideas work? Perhaps trying something different or using illegal methods? " The stranger explained.
"What illegal methods are you suggesting?" Meiling wondered and the stranger answered with "I honestly don't know! Just trying to help you with getting some ideas that's all."
Afterwards, Meiling started becoming very interested by this person because it looked like they've got some things in common like wanting revenge on this couple and having the dedication to get whatever needed done. Suddenly, a plan started coming into fruition and it involved forming a partnership to stop Sakura and Tomoyo's wedding from taking place. Finally, they discussed everything within detail and unexpectedly Meiling agreed as it's better than anything she could think of right now.
"Would you tell me your name?" Meiling ordered.
"I'm called Chiharu Mihara and may I know yours?" Chiharu politely asked when removing the hoodie that'd been concealing her face.
"I'm called Meiling Li and know you attended Tomoeda Academy a few years ago as I recognised your name from somewhere. What are you doing back in Tokyo? I thought you'd moved to Toyokawa all because of your parents getting new jobs there?" Meiling wondered.
"I'm moving back here to Tokyo shortly and all because of my father accepting the role of becoming the new principal at Tomoeda Academy. Also, I had moved to Toyokawa not because of my parents getting new jobs but for my own private reasons instead. Shouldn't we get going soon? It looks like the snowfall is about to get heavier." Chiharu explained and both walked away out of sight from anybody.
Meanwhile, Sakura and Tomoyo had finally arrived at their destination and knew who'd be waiting for them. Afterwards, they wondered inside and saw all their friends and family within the living room.
"You better have a good explanation why all your friends have been asked to come here during this hour?" Sonomi asked her daughter.
"If you'll allow me to explain everything? Reason all of you have been asked to come here because we've got something important we'd like to tell you. I'm happy to say we're both getting married and here's the prove of us being engaged." Tomoyo answered and Sakura showed the 24ct gold and diamond encrusted ring to everyone.
"Are you being serious? Where exactly did the proposal take place?" Syaoran wondered and Tomoyo answered with "I proposed to Sakura at Hamarikyu Gardens. Also, the snow was starting to fall which just made it more memorable."
"My daughter is getting married!" Nadeshiko squealed.
"How about we all start celebrating this big moment?" Tomoyo suggested and mostly everyone agreed with her idea.
Before any celebrations took place, Syaoran wanted to be assured about something and responded with "Don't we have to worry about Meiling?" all because of everything she's done beforehand.
"Nope! We both took care of her earlier and probably won't be seeing Meiling for quite awhile." Sakura answered.
"I'm hoping your not wrong! Anyways, when's the wedding happening?" Syaoran questioned whiles changing the subject.
"It'll probably happen after graduation." Tomoyo answered.
"Does anybody have a problem with that?" Sakura wondered and her friends shook their heads from side-to-side.
What'd you think about that? Sakura and Tomoyo revealing their engagement to their family and friends. Chiharu deciding to team up with the enemy to prevent our couples wedding from taking place.
