Chapter 15: Training of Traits

One day in Moxxie and Millie's house, everyone seems pretty quiet. But today, Blitz decides to ask them something important, which leaves them surprised.

"You want to know what now?" Moxxie asks, confused.

"Well, I thought that since you guys bought me a gun, I thought that maybe I should learn how to use one. And maybe work a little with my knife skills for self defense," Blitz says.

"That's actually not a bad idea. It's important for you to learn how to defend yourself, I remember that you learned how to use knives for defense, but never actually used it," Moxxie says.

"Except the time when Randall performed his little stunt," Millie says, sounding a bit bitter for mentioning it.

"That's true," Moxxie replies, still displeased.

Then turns to Blitz, "Still, I suppose it wouldn't hurt for us to teach you how to use various firearms. We'll have to start with the basics and work our way to using an actual gun. I'll see if Razor would want to come."

"Is he busy?" Blitz asks.

"Hmm, I'm not sure, but besides me, Razor is also good with various derringer such as guns, crossbows, launchers, bazookas, and etc," Moxxie says.

He then brings out his phone, "I'll call Razor to ask if he can help with the lessons."

And with that, Moxxie begins to call Razor's phone.

"I think it will be nice for you boys to have a little fun killing people," Millie says.

Blitz reluctantly says, "I don't really want to kill people."

"If you say so," Millie says.

Then says, "Still, it's not a big deal to kill someone if they try to kill you back. I mean, people end up killing others for self defense."

"That's true, but it mainly happens during life threatening situations. I remember hearing on the news and crime shows that my friend watches that some people actually faked it to escape murder charges," Blitz says.

"Exactly," Millie says.

She grins and says, "But you're not the type to fake it, and will actually kill for self defense. Except when you ever find yourself in a life threatening situation."

"I'm still not sure about actually killing someone though," Blitz says.

"Relax Blitz, people kill people in Hell all the time. It's new to us, and it's not new on earth," Millie says.

"I guess you're right," Blitz replies.

Moxxie hands up the phone and says, "I got off the phone with Razor and he's okay for us to give you some firearm lessons. We can do it tomorrow if you like since it's not a working day."

"Sounds good to me," Blitz says.

Millie says, "I wish you the best of luck on your lessons, Blitz."

"Thanks Millie," Blitz says.

Then asks, "But what about Mimmy?"

"Don't worry Blitz, I'll watch over her. She's gotten used to us by now, and she's a sweet little kitten. It won't be any trouble," Millie says.

"Okay, just remember not to feed her too much, and try not to let her begging overpower you," Bitz says.

"Will do," Millie happily says.

The next day, Blitz and Moxxie meet up with Razor at an empty parking lot. There are different handguns, other guns, bows and arrows, and crossbows on the table. There are also a few different knives and sharp objects on the table. At the other table, there are different hay bales, tables of cans, bottles, and other items to use for shooting practice.

"Alright Blitz, are you ready to practice your shooting practice?" Razor asks.

"I'm ready," Blitz says.

Moxxie brings out one of his hand guns. A beginner's 9mm Glock pistol.

"Alright Blitz, just to let you know that using a gun is not as easy as it looks. So you need to understand the basics," Moxxie says and passes the pistol to Blitz.

"Okay," Blitz replies, and takes the pistol.

Moxxie then brings out his own, "Alright Blitz, you need to hold the gun tight and it could get a little loud while using a gun. It will take some time getting used to it."

Moxxie then points the gun at the target, which is a soda bottle, "It's best for you to use both hands for this."

Then adjust his body, "You have to position your body and your arms at a specific place so you won't fall over when using a gun."

"Alright," Blitz says.

"And pull the trigger and the gun will fire the bullet," Moxxie says.

Moxxie fires his pistol and it hits the can and it falls off the table. Blitz quickly covers his ears due to the sound the gun makes.

"Sorry about the gun being loud," Moxxie says.

"It's alright. I heard a gun sound before, and it was still loud," Blitz says.

"It's cool," Razor says.

Razor then holds out a handgun himself, and fires it at a glass bottle and it shatters to pieces.

Then turns to Blitz, "You ready to try it, Blitz?"

"Okay," Blitz says.

Blitz holds out the gun and positions himself with his body and mainly his arm. He then fires the gun, and it's able to hit the can, but it only grazes the soda can, and it falls over.

"That was good for a first try," Razor says

"Thanks, but it's not going to be easy using this gun," Blitz says.

"It's alright, you're just starting how to use a gun, so it will take a while to use it," Razor says.

Then Razor holds out another gun, "Ready to use another one."

"Sure," Blitz says.

Blitz then points his gun at the glass bottle.

Then Razor advises, "Try to concentrate and aim at the target slowly."

Blitz nods his head and does just that. Blitz aims the gun at the glass bottle, and fires. Soon, the bullet hits the glass bottle and it shatters to pieces.

"Nice shot, Blitz," Razor says.

"That was pretty good," Moxxie says.

"Thanks," Blitz says.

Razor then brings out a bow and arrow, "Have you done archery before?"

"Well, I've done a little bit," Blitz says.

"Really?" Razor asks, interested.

"Yeah. I don't use it for my performances, but I did practice a bit of archery," Blitz says.

"Alright, give it a try," Razor says.

Moxxie then holds out his crossbow, "Have you used a crossbow before?"

"No. I never used one before. I just stick to using a normal bow and arrow. Then again, I guess a lot of people use bows and arrows while practicing archery to practice their skills," Blitz says.

"Of course," Moxxie says.

Then set his crossbow up with an arrow and set it to fire.

"The crossbow looks interesting though, not sure about using it," Blitz says.

"That's okay Blitz. Everyone has their own weapon of choice," Moxxie says.

Moxxie then aims his crossbow at the hay bale and fires it. The arrow pierces the hay bale in a matter of seconds.

"Alright then," Blitz says.

He then adjusts his bow and places the arrow at the side of it. He pulls the strong with the arrow and fires it at the other hay bale.

"That's very impressive," Moxxie says.

"Thanks. It's been a long time since I used a bow and arrow, but glad to see I still know how to use one," Blitz says.

"You sure have good aim, even with a bow and arrow," A familiar voice says.

This makes the three boys surprised and look around.

"And it's actually cool that knife throwing is not the only thing you know what to do," A voice says.

Suddenly, Randall appears next to Blitz, "Hey Blitz."

Blitz turns around in surprise and says, "Randall?!"

"Hey Blitz. Moxxie. Razor. I was wondering where you guys would be," Randall says.

"What are you doing here, Randall? When did you get here?" Moxxie questions, irritated.

"What? I just wanted to see what you guys are doing, and to my surprise, it looks like you're giving our new pal Blitz some training," Randall says.

"That's right. And we did it here so we won't have to worry about anyone bothing us," Razor says.

"I'm not going to bother you if that's what you're thinking," Randall says. "I'm actually here to help."

"I don't know Randall. You remember the last time you tried to 'help' me? You disguise yourself as a different demon, practically attack and scare me, and I end up stabbing you," Blitz says, skeptic about the idea.

"Don't worry, I'm not going to do the same thing like last time," Randall says.

"And you're sure?" Blitz asks.

"I'm sure. No need to get your tail in a knot. In fact, the only thing you'll be doing with that table is throwing daggers," Randall says.

"Huh?" Blitz says, confused.

"Allow me to show you," Randall says.

Randall then uses his tail to pick up one of the knives on the table. More specifically, a kunai. Randall then uses his tail and swings it a bit, and then throws it at the targets. The kunai knife pierces the hay bale right in the center of the bullseye.

"That's very impressive. And I thought I was the only one who could do that," Blitz says.

"Really?" Randall asks, "You can use your tail too?" and takes an interest

"Well, kind of. I used my tail to help pick up stuff, and grab onto poles and the tightrope when I perform. Even holding the knives while I'm on the tightrope. I sometimes use my tail for my knife throwing performances but I mainly use my hand for good aiming," Blitz explains.

"That's pretty cool," Razor says.

" Thanks," Blitz replies.

Then turns to Randall, "So Randall, how good are you with your tail?"

"I happen to be very good," Randall says, feeling confident."I use my tail with multiple killings from time to time. You never know when you find yourself having to perform multiple killings at the same time."

"Sounds really difficult," Blitz replies.

"It's pretty easy if you think of it. It's all in the wrist. Well, all in the tail anyway," Randall says.

"I like to see how you do it with your tail," Blitz says.

"Sure," Randall says.

Then uses his tail to grab another knife, "Let me give you another demonstration on some of the skills I use for killing."

"You grab the knife with your tail. And then have the knife pointed at the target," Randall explains as he demonstrates with his tail.

Then Randall says, "And swing your tail as hard as you can and throw it at the target. It's good for distance shots."

He then swings his tail and throws the knife at the target once again.

Then Randall turns to Blitz, "See, now your turn."

"Okay," Blitz replies with a nod.

Blitz then uses his tail to pick up the knife and lifts it up. It's not hard for him to pick up the knife and bring it to him.

"You're doing good so far. Now swing your tail and throw it at the target," Randall says.

"Alright," Blitz says with a nod.

Blitz then swings his tail and lets go of the knife as doing so. However, Blitz ends up missing the hay bale and it pierces at the wall a little before it falls off and hits the ground.

Blitz sheepishly rubs the back of his head with his hand, "I guess that wasn't the best shot I did. I haven't used my tail much so I guess I'm a bit out of practice."

"It's cool. So your tail throwing skill is a little rusty. You'll get better with some practice," Randall says.

"Yeah," Blitz says.

He then grabs a knife and throws it at the target with ease. Then able to throw multiple knives at once and they all hit the target. Moxxie, Randall, and Razor applaud with smiles on their faces.

"You really know how to use a knife. You're almost as good as Millie," Razor says.

"I think Millie is better with sharp weapons. I only throw them and use knives for cooking and other needs," Blitz says.

"That's true. Millie knows how to use a lot of sharp objects, especially with a dagger," Randall says.

"Exactly," Moxxie replies with a nod.

"Alright then, let's keep up the good work," Razor says.

With Randall's help, Moxxie, Randall, and Razor continue to help Blitz with weapon training. They practice with bow and arrows, different kinds of guns, and even with different kinds of knives and tricks on how to use it. They also make sure to help Blitz learn other kinds of methods, mainly for self defense.

Sometime later, they express their exhaustion after the training they have, and so they have a beverage break.

Blitz sighs, "This has been very exhausting."

"I know it's been hard, but you have a good head on your shoulders," Razor says.

"Thanks Razor. And thanks for helping me out guys," Blitz says.

"You're welcome Blitz," Moxxie says.

Then Randall asks, "So Blitz, how are things going at the house?"

"Things are going good," Blitz says.

"And how are things going with Stolas?" Razor asks.

Blitz blushes a bit, "Oh, um, Stolas and I are doing fine."

"Have you seen him since you last saw him," Randall asks.

"Well, he and I started texting. Of course, from what Stolas told me, he's having a difficult time dealing with his wife," Blitz says.

"I don't blame him. I hate that bitch," Randall says, annoyed.

"I know what you mean. She always glares at us when we go to Stolas' place, and we're only there for work related business. and she doesn't like how Octavia hangs out with Loona," Razor says.

"Why?" Blitz asks, confused.

"Because Hellhounds, Hellcats, Imps are the lowest class of demons. Hellborns like Randall, including Succubus and Incubus are a bit higher, but she doesn't really like them either," Randall explains.

Then grins at Blitz, "But who would have thought that you already got a prince in your arms."

"Randall, you don't need to go there," Blitz says, embarrassed.

"Relax Blitz, I'm just messing with you," Randall says with a chuckle.

"Oh right," Blitz says.

"Either way, it must be nice that you two are able to stay in tough now," Razor says, and takes a drink.

Randall snickers, "I wouldn't be surprised if Stella is hopping mad right now. To learn that her husband has kissed an Imp, and they stayed in the same room together. Maybe you and Stolas should start dating. That would really make her mad with jealousy."

"Um, I don't know about that. I'm already in a bit of trouble as it is. Especially since his wife found out about what happened," Blitz says, nervously

"And we can thank you for that Randall," Moxxie asks glaring at Randall.

"What did I do?" Randall questions.

"You're the one who opened your big mouth and said that Stolas and Blitz kissed. In front of Stolas' wife and two of her friends for that matter," Razor angrily says.

Blitz adds, "Yeah. She was really mad."

"I don't think that bitch was the happy type to begin with," Randall says.

"Uh, I don't think it's really nice to say those things," Moxxie says.

"Well she is. I never like her and I never will," Randall says.

Then mutters, "I don't think anyone likes her."

"Yeah. that's not a very nice thing to say," Blitz says.

Randall sighs and says, "Anyway, I have enough of this for today. I think I'm going to head home.

"Yeah. I think we did a lot of practice for today," Razor says.

Moxxie then turns to Blitz, "We can practice more another time. We have got a lot of the basics down."

"Yeah," Blitz says.

At the end, the group has a fine day training, and they'll plan on doing some more another time.
