This is the story of how I died. Don't worry, this is a very fun story. In fact, it's not even about me, believe it or not. This is a story about a girl. Her name is Rapunzel. And, it all starts with the sun. Yes the sun. Bear with me.

To starts, a drop of the sun fell from the sky. This drop created a beautiful, golden flower. This flower had the ability to heal the sick and the hurt. And this flower remained unknown until a greedy, old woman found it. This woman is actually the bad guy of this story. But let me get to that.

This old woman found the flower and decided to keep the power for herself, to keep herself young forever. She learned the song to make it work and the power was hers.

Well, a hop, skip and a boat ride away, a kingdom was created near the flower, called Corona. The king and queen were well loved in this kingdom and were kind to their people. The queen, when she was about to have a baby, she got really sick. So, the king sent out troops to find the fabled, magic flower.

But this old lady I told you about, she's really creepy. She kept herself young for centuries, locking the flower up in a leaf basket to protect its power. Well, she got careless, and the royal guards found it.

They brought the king the flower. He used the flower to heal the queen from her illness. And their baby was born. She was beautiful with a head of bright, golden hair. That's Rapunzel. The king and queen launched a flying lantern into the air to celebrate. And for a day, everything was perfect. But then, that day ended.

That old woman from before, Mother Gothel, came inside the tower to get a bit of Rapunzel's hair for herself. When it didn't work, she panicked and took the baby. The king and queen were distressed and sent the entire kingdom out to look for her, when they didn't find her, Corona's spirits were down. And they have been ever since.

Gothel raised Rapunzel as her own, for her own selfish means. Gothel had found her new magic flower, but this time, she was determined to keep it hidden, from everyone, from the world.

The walls of the hidden tower couldn't hide the girl's curiosity. Just like her first birthday, the king and queen set off flying lanterns, every year, in hopes that one day, their lost princess would return.

Now, you may be wondering why I know this. Well, beside it being in the history books, and the mural of 'The Lost Princess' in the kingdom square, decorated with flowers everyday, used as wishes for the Lost Princess, I lived in it. Yes, I was there! That's how I know about Rapunzel. But, it didn't start the way you're probably expecting it. Or it did. I don't know, I can't read your mind.

Let's just assume you aren't expecting it, shall we? This story has a happy ending, one for Rapunzel, the king and queen, and me.

Let me introduce myself really quick. My name is Flynn Ryder. Heh, gotcha! My name is actually Eugene Fitzherbert. But I'll tell you more about me later. For now, let's cut to the chase and get on with this story, shall we?
