the invincible scientist and the monkey boy chapter 1 – reunited and hunting again
as stated in the info chapter , goku and bulma will only be a single year apart in age, it was a fairy recent change made in the special chapter Toriyama made for the brolly movie
I am starting in the general blue saga to give bulma a chance to return and have something more to do.
As the story goes, I will get into more bulma changes as well \
This chapter will cover episodes 43-48.
Goku pov
After my recent battle, my dragon radar was damaged, and I knew I would need it fixed to locate the four-star ball and I thought my flying nimbus was gone. But thanks to the people of the village, I was in I figured how to recover it and fly to a city called New York to find Bulma. But in the city, I didn't know where Bulma was, I was sure I liked her on a level different from Krillin but wasn't sure exactly how. The first issue came in the form of not knowing Bulma's family name or the exact location of her house.
But after some struggles, I learned that I would need money to find Bulma and my luck came that a man was putting up to defeat him. the crowd said he was strong but my training with Roshi gave me a huge advantage against the man. He was fast and strong, but I was better. I ended up leaving the man defeated and penniless. But in time I had somebody point me to a person that could guide me in the right direction and soon to Bulma's house. I tried to yell out and thankfully the police man helped me by calling on what was the intercom, and I learned my friend was still at school. I then sniffed the air to learn she was coming soon.
Bulma pov
I arrived back home on my bike to find Goku waiting with a police officer outside the Capsule Corp compound. Goku was already looking more mature since the battle against Jackie Chun in the world martial arts tournament. The tailed boy asked me to help fix his dragon radar and the officer asked me to tune up his bike, so I agreed to help both of them and brought them inside. The sheltered boy was amazed by everything he saw in the compound.
Inside, I met my father and had him work on the motorcycle, while I worked on the dragon radar with Goku in my room. but not before my father warmed us about making out, but Goku seemed to have no idea what he meant, I knew I would need to teach this monkey boy much more before letting him travel alone again and more so if I really liked him as more than a friend. I soon fixed his radar with ease and learned Goku had two dragon balls on his person. I soon agreed to come with him on his trip and use a shrinking machine to let him carry me on the nimbus. But I noticed from recent checks, my body was undergoing some kind of change that may make me more useful soon.
It was next, I took Goku through the city to help show him around and get some food. I started to figure out Goku likely converted food to a power source for his body. I hung out under Goku's shirt in a shrunk down form while we traveled. It was during our travels, I decided Goku would likely be a better boyfriend than Yamcha.
I knew I would try and get closer to the dense monkey boy at a new amusement park. While we played on the rides, Goku seemed to have stupid fun but soon after eating we discovered a woman being kidnapped and saved her. At the same time, I tried to avoid Yamcha as much as possible. At the same time, I worried about Goku and someone taking advantage of him.
I soon figured out that someone placed a bomb at the park to try and kill Goku. But with the help of Goku and Yamcha, the bomb was stopped and Goku saved the day. After that, we left with the radar to locate more balls. It was on our trip; we flew over the ocean and a few flying fish. But in enough time, we discovered the next ball on an island and underwater. But sadly my capsule stash switched with her father's and all he had was dirty magazines.
While Goku went to try and find the ball, I explored the island and prepared for Goku to not be able to find it. but the only people on the island attacked me using helicopters but strangely their bullets didn't hurt me. some ripped my clothes, but they didn't damage my skin. After I wasn't hurt the soldiers stopped shooting and I tried to get help. but I was smart enough to manipulate them to fall off a cliff and soon enough Goku help get rid of them. after that, he finally suggested our best bet to find what we needed was master Roshi, even if I didn't want to go see what old pervert. While I worried about those soldiers that we had to fight off. so I decided to go with Goku regardless, I would just have to hide in mini form to avoid him.
But since Goku was too stupid to explain things and I had to trade the shrinking device to get the submarine. But the other catch is we would have to wait for Krillin to return. While we waited Goku caught some fish to eat and Roshi tried to get to me to use the bathroom so he could peep, but i snacked his face hard and he in turn said "did you get stronger as of late, that one felt much harder than last time. When we showed the map to Krillin and Roshi, they said there was a pirates' treasure around the area where the ball was. We ate while Krillin finished his chores and then headed out. but we left the balls at Roshi's house and Krillin said, "we can use the balls to find our way back if needed."
I also worried about those strange solders with the RR on their uniforms and if they could find Roshi. Goku tried to ask questions, but I had used the radar and told him "I will let you look at a picture book back at my house when we find the rest of the balls." It wasn't much longer that we found where the ball was but, in the path, we also found another sub with the same RR and Goku said "it the red ribbon army." I then knew what we were facing and hoped my new change would be enough to survive and fight back.

I am setting up hints a something I will reveal about bulma later in the story.
For next chapter the team will come face to face with the forces of general blue
But first Yusuke and issei will learn what it means to be a devil and who much bigger the moonlit world really is
