Chapter 79: Imp Twins Reunited
Meanwhile, after a spectacular performance, Millie was being praised by the campers. She looked on, eyes glowed with emotions now that she has fulfilled her importance. Millie makes a bow to the crowd and then heard footsteps close by. She turns and finds Moxxie, still covered in blood.
"Looks like you did it," Millie says.
"No…" Moxxie says, and grabs Millie's hand and looks at her with glowing eyes, "You did it. I'm so proud of you, Millie."
Moxxie looks the other way, still remorseful for his jealousy and frustration, "And I'm sorry I let you down."
Millie grabs Moxxie and lifts him up and spins themselves around.
And Millie says, "Just don't do it again, dummy."
"Right," Moxxie says with a smile.
Then he says, "Come on, we better get going."
"Right, we better get to the office," Millie says.
"Not yet…" Moxxie says.
"Not yet?" Millie questions, confused.
Moxxie nods, "Let's just say that Blitz has some… catching up to do with the only family he has in Hell."
Millie eyes wide in surprise, but soon smiles to understand what Moxxie means.
Back at the boat house, Barbie and Blitz continue to hug one another. Randall, Razor, and Mimmy watch from the window outside of the boathouse, so the two can catch up. They smile as they see the two Imp siblings are together again.
Barbie lets go of the embrace and looks at Blitz, "I still can't believe it. It's really really out."
"Yes, Barbie. I'm glad I finally get to meet you," Blitz says.
"Me too," Barbie says. "Especially everything you've gone through."
"I suspect Fizzarolli was able to contact you about finding me and about what happened," Blitz replies.
Barbie sighs and says, "Yes, Fizzarolli told me everything, especially during your meeting with him and what you told him. How you and mom ended up in the human world. How she was killed by Exorcists while you were raised by a human family and traveled with them in the circus. How you lost your adopted family and still live with relatives at the circus…."
"And that's the surface of my life," Blitz says.
"Yeah. Including how you met with I.M.P and started living in Hell, and how he ended up seeing you at Ozzie's with a prince," Barbie says.
She then lowered her head with sadness, "But then he told me about how you got together with that prince and was kidnapped and almost assassinated. How your identity was exposed, and you were so badly injured that you were in the hospital and unconscious for over two weeks." She then sighs, "I wish I could have been there for you."
Blitz then places his hand on her shoulder, causing Barbie to turn her head to him, to see his sweet smile.
Barbie smiles as well, "Also, Fizzarolli told me I also have a niece."
"Yeah. Mimmy is my little girl. At first, she used to be my pet kitten until a little incident caused her to turn into a Hell Kitten, but she's still my sweet little Mimmy all the same," Blitz says with a smile.
Barbie then says, "Still, it's been over thirty years since that incident, and I've been trying to find any signs of you like years, ever since our dad died. Even with Fizz and Asmodeus' help, we didn't have any leads. And now I know why, you were never in Hell."
"Yeah. I wasn't. I didn't even know I was a demon until the others told me when I first met them. I still have a lot to learn about living in Hell, especially now that I'll need to defend myself more than ever," Blitz says.
"Yeah. Fizz told me about your identity being exposed. Won't be long before they realize that you were my brother and Cash's son," Barbie says.
"I heard a little bit about my dad from Fizz, but what was dad like for you?" Blitz asks.
Barbie chuckles, "I figure you want to know. There are a ton of stories. Dad may be too greedy when it comes to alcohol and money, and all that shit, but he's still a good dad, always trying to look out for me. Although he does give Fizzarolli a glare when we hang out. I think it's because he wanted to make sure I was safe and is on edge about me being around boys. Of course, he can be caring, and stubborn, and has a sensitive side, especially when it comes to… you and mom."
"I see. We were both so young back then," Blitz says. He then asks, "Did dad ever talk about it?"
"Not much, but that's because he's very sensitive about the topic," Barbie says.
She then explains, "When I decided to ask him after finding the photo, he told me about what happened during the Early Extermination and how you and mom were missing while being chased by the Exorcists. Including how our mother died when he found her body, but had no traces of you. Our father did everything he could. He tried to find you for weeks, even months, trying to find any clues on what happened to you and mom. He was forced to give up after assuming the worst and decided to focus on the circus and taking care of me."
"Yeah. Fizzarolli also explains that you both were trying to find me, but ended up coming up with dead ends, or demons who tried to pretend to be me in order to get close to you or Fizz," Blitz says.
"Yeah. It put a lot of stress on me and I ended up in Rehab for a long time after drinking and doing so much drugs. I got out a year ago, but decided to change jobs so I wouldn't put myself and Fizzarolli through that again," Barbie explains.
She sighs, "And I guess I ended up losing a bit of touch with Fizzarolli after that, and was practically ready to give up on finding you, much less you being alive," She then smiles, "Until I've got a call, message, and even an email from Fizzarolli about you. And even medical results, pictures of you and your shows, and some of the pictures of you with him, and of course, little Mimmy."
"Yeah. We all took a selfie so he can have some proof," Blitz says.
"It's enough to convince me, and seeing you right now, it's more than enough to convince me otherwise," Barbie says.
And hugs Blitz, "I'm very glad to see you after all this time."
"Me too," Blitz says.
He then asks, "So then, what are you up to now?"
"Well, I was working for a pharmacist until my drug supplier was killed," Barbie says. Then points his thumb to the window, "Thanks to Randall and his little twink of a friend, I'm basically out of the job."
"Screw you, bitch," Randall mutters, irritated and flips her.
Barbie glares and growls at him in response.
"Twink? You mean, Moxxie?" Blitz questions.
"That's his name?" Barbie says and laughs, "Still hard to believe. If it wasn't for his voice, I would assume that he's actually a girl."
Blitz giggles, "Yeah. I can see why you assumed that. Surprisingly, some of the clothes he used looked good on him."
"You'll have to send me a picture the next time he decides to wear an outfit like that," Barbie says.
"I'll have to ask Moxxie about that. I think he'll be embarrassed if someone else sees him dressing up as a girl," Blitz says.
"I'm really glad that you're alive and have lived a good life. Even though it's outside of Hell," Barbie says.
"Yeah. I'm glad to know that I have a family in Hell, even though both our parents are gone," Blitz says.
"I'm sure our parents wouldn't want us to live in the past, especially now we found each other," Barbie says.
She then says, "Now all's that out of the way, I want to meet my little niece."
"Sure. She's just outside with Randall and Razor," Blitz says.
"Still can't believe you trust Randall in taking care of your kid," Barbie says with a frown.
"I know Randall can be a bit of a pain, but he's still a nice guy all the same. And Razor is with him, so I'm sure Randall won't get into too much trouble," Blitz says.
"If you say so," Barbie says, rolling her eyes.
The two soon walk outside of the boathouse to see Randall, Razor, and Mimmy still next to the window and by the door. That's when Moxxie and Millie arrive.
"Hey Blitz! Hi Mimmy! Hey Randall!" Millie happily calls out.
"Hi Millie," Mimmy happily says.
Randall sighs, "Now that we're done with all that shit, let's get back to the office, and bring Barbie Mallet Ms. Pain along."
"What was that?!" Barbie angrily asks.
"Now now, let's not get into another argument." Blitz says.
"There you go. A voice of reason," Moxxie says.
"And what makes you think I'll be going with you?" Barbie questions with a frown.
Suddenly, Mimmy walks over and happy says, "Hi."
Blitz and Barbie look down to see Mimmy looking up at them with curious eyes.
Barbie practically squeals to see Mimmy's face and can guess who this is, "Aww, is this the cutie little Hell Kitty I've been hearing about?" She then picks up Mimmy and says, "She is so adorable, like a real kitten."
"That's her. This is my daughter, Mimmy. Mimmy, this is my twin sister, Barbie," Blitz says.
"Older twin to be exact," Barbie points out.
Mimmy looks at both Blitz and Barbie with curious eyes.
Mimmy giggles, "She looks like you."
Blitz and Barbie begin giggling with smiles on their faces.
"Yeah. I guess we kind of do," Blitz says.
"True, but we do also have our differences," Barbie says.
"And not just their appearance," Randall mutters.
"Does that really make you my auntie?" Mimmy asks.
Barbie smiles, "I sure am."
"And I have to say, despite you, that was once Blitz's little pet kitten, he sure has a cute little daughter," Barbie says, and gently gives Mimmy a tap on her nose.
And the girls giggle in reply.
Blitz says, "Anyway, let's head back to the office and I can introduce you to the others."
Moments later, Blitz and the others return to the I.M.P office, where Sarge, Drew, Berry, and Loona are. And soon enough, Blitz introduces the group to Barbie, his sister.
"Guys, this is my twin sister, Barbie. Barbie, this is my boss, Sarge, his daughter, Loona, and my fellow colleagues, Drew and his sister, Berry."
"Hello Barbie, it's nice to finally meet you," Sarge says.
"It's cool to meet you all too. It's nice to meet my brother's pals from work," Barbie says.
"Yeah. And it's nice to finally meet the twin sister we've been trying to find," Drew says.
"Have to admit, it's kind of surprising to see that you both are twins," Loona says.
Berry walks over, "I know. You both look a lot alike," But Berry also notices, "I mean, except for your horns, and your clothes, you both have different white markings, and Blitz is a little shorter, and Barbie has black fingers. But your head shape and eye colors are very similar. And despite it being crossed, you both have a similar mark."
"Yeah. However, I suspect your personality is also very different, mainly because of your upbringing," Drew says.
"That's true. From what Fizz told me, my brother is a big softie, but actually knows how to knife a gun and a blade," Barbie says
"Yeah. Sarge and the others have been teaching me about Hell and how to survive it. I've learned that living Hell is not easy. Then again, life is never easy as some people believe, and it also helps that I have experiences with knives and agility from my circus days. " Blitz says.
"You do raise a good point, Blitz," Octavia says.
"And Sarge was able to create a training session that also helps combine with his professions in his circus performances and use them for self defense and fighting," Moxxie says.
Barbie says, "Well I did like to thank you guys for taking good care of my brother, and teaching him the ropes of living here."
"Don't worry, we're taking good care of your brother. Although, I'm still shocked to see that he's your brother of all demons," Randall says, irritated.
"What's up with him?" Loona asks.
Razor sighs, "It's complicated."
"But what will you do now, Barbie?" Blitz asks.
"Well, I'm considered jobless thanks to Randall and Moxxie's involvement," Barbie says.
But Moxxie says, "I would like to point out that we didn't actually kill him, instead, he was killed by a stray firework rocket."
"That's true," Randall says, rolling her eyes.
"Well, I still like to blame you anyway, Randall," Barbie says, glaring at him.
"Who asked you, you fuckin bitch?!" Randall angrily says.
Barbie angrily says, "And you are just a real pain in the ass, Randall!"
"Alright you guys. There's no need to get into arguments over this," Blitz says.
Blitz and Randall cross their arms and turn their heads away in a huff.
Just then, Blitz says, "I think I have an idea how to help with that problem."
"What's that?" Barbie asks.
"Well, if you want, and maybe with Sarge's permission, maybe you can work here with us," Blitz says.
"Huh? You want me to work with you guys in this company?" Barbie questions.
"Well, only if you want. You don't have to," Barbie says.
Randall groans, "Why?"
"Well let's be honest, we're kind of the reason why Barbie is out of her current job, even though we didn't kill the target in the end, we tried to," Moxxie says.
"Mainly you, Mox," Randall points out.
"I spent a week on this, and I really messed up big time on it," Moxxie says.
"Since you've brought that up, why were you guys gone for so long? I mean, it shouldn't take that long to kill one guy," Drew asks.
"You can thank Moxxie for wanting to do things perfectly with this assignment, and Millie ended up being quite the celebrity at the camp," Randall says.
Moxxie and Millie blush a bit.
Sarge sighs, "Well, what matters is that you get the job done."
"How did your investigation go?" Millie asks.
"It felt kind of well, with a few drawbacks, but I've managed to gather quite a bit," Sarge says.
"What were you investigating?" Barbie asks.
"That's classified," Sarge answers.
But then says, "But it also depends if you're willing to be part of I.M.P."
"And why's that?" Barbie asks, looking suspicious.
Sarge then explains, "Well Barbie, if you're willing to work here, you will be paid well for it. And currently, we're on important bodyguard duty that involves us seeing to watch over the Prince and your brother. So there will be times when you need to watch over your brother, his niece, and the princess. Other times, in another few weeks, you'll be guarding Prince Stolas' room until he's let out. There are times when you need to work with killing the human targets in the living world."
"I guess," Barbie says.
Then Berry says, "Look at it this way, if you decide to work with us, you'll get to spend time with your brother."
"Well since you all are offering, I might as well join you guys. And like you said, you're making this up for me losing my work," Barbie says.
"Alright then. You can start by guarding your brother, your niece, and the princes for a few days with Moxxie and Millie," Sarge says.
"Great," Barbie says.
"Now that we're on that topic, what is this investigation you're all talking about?" Barbie replies.
"Well Barbie, there's been an incident at the hospital and we found out some information that was tough for all of us to swallow, and it mainly concerns your brother that is most likely to be put in danger," Sarge says.
Barbie eyes wide in shock, "What?"
For a whole hour, Sarge, along with Blitz, and the others explain what's been going on with Blitz since he arrived in Hell. And much to Blitz's concern, he also has to tell his sister about his sudden immunity to Angelic weapons, his mysterious powers, and about what has occurred before the Early Extermination over thirty years ago. Sarge even explains what they discovered at the hospital and now that Blitz's life is in danger. And that also involves Blitz's identity being exposed and so many demons want to meet or even see him.
After explaining the details, well to Barbie, it's an understandable shock.
Barbie is clearly not happy to hear how much trouble her brother is in, "Wait a minute, are you fuckin saying that my brother became some experiment from some Alchemist Overlord, and has been proven a success."
"Yes. As of now, Blitz is the only one who survived Toxbane's experiment and has gained magic abilities because of it. And Tozbane knows about it, and wants your brother to figure out how to make his experiment stable to insert it into more demons. However, now that his upbringing is being exposed, he and any one under him will need to be extra careful to not raise any unwanted attention," Sarge explains.
Blitz then explains, "At first, I wasn't sure about telling you any of this. Mainly because I didn't want you to get hurt or too involved in this problem."
"I appreciate your concern Blitz, you're my brother," Barbie says, "So of course, this is going to be my problem if this Toxbane tries to hurt you. What's more, he had that serum injected into you without your consent."
"We can understand why you're mad, I don't blame you. Berry says. "I would feel the same way if someone did that to my brother."
"Yeah. I was happy to learn that my brother is alive and now I'm able to see him. I refuse to lose him now after hearing all this," Barbie says.
Then Sarge says, "And glad that you feel that way. I assume that you had experience with these kinds of things."
"Sure due. I used to be Fizzarolli's personal bodyguard, so I know how to get fuckers to back off. I mainly did it as a friend and a bodyguard rather than a random person," Barbie says.
"Sounds to me like you're perfect for bodyguard duty," Sarge says.
Mimmy then lets out a yawn.
Octavia notices and asks, "Tired Mimmy?"
"Yes," Mimmy says and yawns as she rubs her eyes.
"Well, I suppose it is starting to get a little late," Blitz says.
"Now that you've mentioned it, I feelin tired myself," Millie says and lets out a yawn.
"Alright then, we call home for the night. Razor, you and Randall will be guarding Stolas' room tonight. The rest of us will stay at the mansion," Sarge says.
"You got it boss," Razor says.
"On it sir," Randall says.
Sometime later, after work at I.M.P, Razor and Randall head to the hospital to guard Stolas' room. Of course, after the long day, Moxxie and Millie are sleeping in the guest room. Octavia is in her room listening to music after having dinner. Mimmy is very asleep and Blitz tucks his little Hell Kitten into bed.
Barbie giggles, "She sure is a cute little Hell Kitten." and gently rubs the little kitten's head.
"She really is," Blitz says.
Mimmy yawns and rubs her eyes in exhaustion.
"You feeling tired, Mimmy?" Blitz asks.
"Uh huh. I'm very sleepy," Mimmy says.
"I know. We all kind of had a long day," Blitz says, and gives her a kiss, "Goodnight sweetie."
"Night kid," Barbie says.
"Goodnight daddy. Goodnight Auntie Barbie," Mimmy says, and yawns as she falls asleep.
Blitz and Barbie leave the room and walk to the guest room that is set for Barbie. Blitz and Barbie are sitting on the couch as they have snacks and drinks as they talk to one another. Blitz also tells Barbie about his life, his family, and his adventures in Hell.
Blitz is showing Barbie his photo album, "And this was my adopted family. My father, Charles. My mother, Lucy. Along with my brother and sister, Malcolm and Marina."
"They seem very nice. And judging by the clothes, I can tell that he was one of the Ringmasters and Co-owner of the circus," Barbie says.
"That's right. The rest of us were also performers. I did quite a few performances," Blitz says.
"Yeah. I did quite a few performances at the circus. Our dad was a ringmaster himself. In fact, Fizzarolli and I did a few acts together, even though he's mainly the clown of the circus. At the same time, I was a dancer on the tightrope, balancing on the ball, and stuff like that." Barbie says.
"Yeah. He told me that everyone loves him, and apparently loves your performances as well," Blitz says.
Barbie laughs, "That flatterer. I may be good as a performer, but not that good."
Blitz then turns to the next pages, "And this is my Uncle Matt, my Aunt Lily, and my cousins, the older man is Tim, and the twins, Andy and Candy."
"Well, I can see how different they are, but you're even more different," Barbie says. "And despite that, you all seem to stick together."
"Yeah," Blitz says. He sighs to see one of his family photos, "I really miss my parents, and my brother and sister."
"I know how that felt after our dad died. I was still a teenager back then. And trust me, it was difficult to get by. Still, Fizz and I really stick together after what happened," Barbie explains.
"I can tell," Blitz says, "I remember asking him if you two ever dated. He just laughed."
Barbie begins to laugh hysterically, "Fizzarolli and I dated?! No way! No way!"
"Yeah. He clarified to me about it," Blitz says.
"That's true," Barbie says, and able to stop laughing, "But still, Fizzarolli and I are very close, we're practically siblings. And to be honest, quite a few have mistaken us for being a couple, even though we're really childhood friends."
"I see," Blitz says.
Then asks, "So what was it like?"
"Well Fizzarolli and I have been together since we were children. In fact, I couldn't remember a day when we were apart," Barbie says, "We had all kinds of fun together. We even started living together after the circus was shut down. And we did our best to get by with what we had, but it wasn't easy. That is, until we met Asmodeus. Despite him being a Sin and the King of Lust, he really helped us and turned our lives around. He really hit it off with Fizzarolli and he became quite the entertainer. Of course, we used to work for Loo Loo Land years ago, and we had a good time working there. Although, that place isn't as popular as Lu Lu World."
"I can tell. Personally, that place could really use a fixer upper," Blitz says.
"I know right," Barbie says. She then rubs the back of his head, "Of course, Fizzarolli kind of mentioned that you practically smashed him on the head with your friend's guitar and told off Verosika and Ozzie of all Demons." and let out a snicker.
"Uh…" Blitz replies and sheepishly chuckles as he blushes, "Yeah. That wasn't my best moment. I could have handled the situation a lot better, but I was too angry to think rationally."
"Yeah, you did, but glad to hear that you both made up," Barbie says.
Then Blitz says, "Maybe tomorrow, I can introduce you to Stolas. I'm sure he would like to meet you. And even my aunt, my uncle, my cousins, and also my friends from the circus.
"Yeah. I think I would like that," Barbie says. She then sounds concerned, "But… what if they don't like me."
"I'm sure they'll like you, especially Candy," Blitz says. "Plus, you were a Circus Performer like us, so I think you guys will get along."
"Thanks," Barbie says. "Maybe Fizzarolli would like to meet them too."
But then she says, "But then again, Fizzarolli has been working quite a lot, and is a famous performer. It would make it hard for him to have free time in his schedule."
"Yeah. It was actually a miracle I was able to meet him when he came to the hospital," Blitz says.
"I know what you mean, especially now that you'll have to deal with a bunch of weirdos who might try to stalk or harass you. But don't worry, leave it to your sis," Barbie says.
"It sounds like you've dealt with this multiple times. Which isn't surprising because you were Fizzarolli's bodyguard," Blitz says.
"You can say that again," Barbie says.
Barbie then hugs Blitz, "I'm really glad to have you back. I'm sure mom and dad would be happy to know that you're still alive."
"Yeah," Blitz says, and lets out a sigh, "I wish I could have met them."
"Our parents wouldn't want us to live with what has been done, but now we have each other. And I promise to never lose you this time," Barbie says.
"Thanks," Blitz says, and lets out a yawn, "Well, it's getting late. There's a guest room nearby so you can sleep there."
"Thanks," Barbie says.
She then says, "And welcome back to Hell. I suppose. Even though it's pretty late to say that."
"Thanks Barbie," Blitz says.
And soon enough, the two siblings sleep in their separate rooms. Either way, Barbie is very happy to have her brother back home, and able to see him. And Blitz is glad to meet his sister and is now able to spend time with him. And who knows what tomorrow will bring for them and what kind of adventures they have together.
