Chapter 86: Go, Go-Kart! Go!

In the Goetia Mansion, Stolas is helping Blitz with his magic lessons in a training room under the palace.

"Alright Blitz, let's recap on some of the magic lessons you have so far," Stolas says.

"Okay Stolas," Blitz says.

"We'll start with telekinesis first," Stolas says. Then points to a tea set, "Now let's start with the simple levitation."

"Okay," Blitz says.

Blitz then uses his telekinesis to levitate the teapot, pour a cup of tea, and put a few sugar cubes inside.

"Now use your pyrokinesis," Stolas says.

Blitz then snaps his fingers and creates fire from his finger.

"Illumination!" Stolas says.

Blitz concentrates his hand and creates the ball of light and brightens up the room.

"Good job," Stolas says.

Then Blitz asks, "What about the healing spell I did a while back?"

"Wel, I'm not sure. Mainly because I worry if it will make you feel very uncomfortable because you used your own blood for this healing ability," Stolas says, sounding concerned.

"I guess you're right," Blitz replies, "It also kind of a bad reminder about what happened back at the mines in the Wrath Ring. But, I know that I need to use it."

"That's alright," Stolas says, "And you can use the magic I've taught you for self defense."

Shortly after the magic lesson, Blitz, Barbie, and Stolas are walking down the hall until they hear a loud thud sound.

"What was that?" Stolas asks.

Blitz looks ahead to notice, "Huh, it looks like it's coming from that room."

"Huh, isn't that the study room I've lent you. Well, it was also an old guest room," Stolas says.

"Yeah," Blitz says.

He and Stolas walk over to see what the noise is.

Blitz opens the door to see a few boxes that have toppled over, with Octavia and Mimmy on the bottom of the pile.

"Goodness, what happened?" Stolas asks.

"Sorry about that, but Mimmy is looking for something and we thought it's in one of the boxes Blitz brought over from Moxxie and Millie's home and a few from the old family cabin," Octavia says.

Mimmy gets up, "Sorry daddy, I was trying to find the toy Uncle Tim gave me."

"It's okay, Mimmy. I guess with all that's happened, I keep forgetting to empty the boxes and organize the things I have here," Blitz says.

"Again, sorry about knocking over your thing. We'll help pick them up," Octavia says, and picks up one of the boxes.

"I'll give you a hand. Some of them are my old things, so some might break easily," Blitz says.

"I'll help too," Barbie says.

"I'll help as well," Stolas says.

Soon enough, everyone begins to empty the boxes, cleaning the things inside, and putting them in a proper place. They managed to get a few of the small items, and managed to find Mimmy's things among them. Soon, Octavia opens one of the smaller boxes and sees a few photos in picture frames. Octavia picks one of them out and sees an interesting photo.

"Hey Blitz, look what I just found. It's a photo from the old days, you're in it," Octavia says.

Blitz looks at the photograph of Blitzo when he's a child. He looks like he's around eight years old. He's in a go-kart on the driver seat. He is also with Marina when she's around thirteen, and Malcolm when he's around fifteen.

"Wow. I haven't seen it in a while. This is the photo my mom took before the go-kart race back when I was a kid," Blitz says.

"A go-kart race?" Barbie questions.

Curious, the others look to see the photo.

"Aww, you look so cute in the little car," Stolas says with sparkles in his eyes.

Blitz blushes, "Uh thanks."

"What's a go-kart race?" Mimmy asks.

"A Go-Kart Race is a race where you race in a kart. There are different versions of the races, but the kind my brother, sister, and I enter is a race where you build the pedal powered go-kart yourself and race from the top of the hill," Blitz says. He then walks to one of the larger boxes and opens it, "And also…"

He reaches inside the box and pulls a golden prophy. With a plate that reads '1st Place.' On the top of the trophy is a go-kart with a rider on it.

"We managed to get this as well," Blitz says.

"Really?! You won?!" Barbie asks, surprised.

"Yeah. We did. Malcolm, Marina, and I had a great time. We were able to win the race, but we also had just as much fun building the kart," Blitz says. Then mutters, "Despite that 'obnoxious rich snob' as Malcolm put it, who tried to cheat."

Stolas hears it and asks, "Beg pardon? What do you mean?"

"Well, it's kind of a long story, but despite what Baron and his friends tried to cheat during the race, my brother, sister, and I were still able to cross the finish line. What's more the people in charge found out what Baron and his gang were doing and they were also disqualified as well," Blitz says.

"Cheating?" Barbie questions.

"Yeah. And he wasn't very nice either, he kept insulting us, and even acting like he's better than us. When we told him off, we decided to cheat to assure his kart would win," Blitz says.

"What happened?" Octavia asks.

"Well, it happened a very long time ago. I was like around eight. My family was staying at a town for a month and so my older brother, sister, and I were doing a few errands for our mom," Blitz explains

Flashback:

In a small town many years ago, Malcolm and Marina, who are teenagers, are walking down the sidewalks with the groceries and other items in the wagon. Blitzo is sitting in the wagon and is having a ride with a big smile on his face.

The little horned boy cheers, "Weeeee!"

Marina giggles, "How are you doing there, Blitzo?"

"Doing good, Marina," Blitzo says.

"Glad to see you're enjoying the ride," Malcolm says.

Blitzo giggles, "Yeah." He then asks, "So what's next on the list?"

Malcolm looks at her, "There is only one thing left to do on the list. We just need to get dad's dry cleaning from the cleaners. And then we head back to the circus."

"Great," Blitzo happily says.

"It's very nice to walk around the town. It's so peaceful here," Marina happily says.

Suddenly, they begin to hear multiple voices and turn to see a group of children chatting and bundled at a poster on the wall near the store.

"What's going on?" Marina asks, curious.

"Everyone seems excited about something," Malcolm says.

Blitzo asks, "Can we go see?"

"Sure, why not," Marina says.

The three siblings then approach the poster the kids and teens are looking at.

Malcolm asks, "Hey, what's all the excitement going on here?"

"There's going to be a Big Go-Kart Race this Saturday," One of the boys answered.

He then points to the poster to see a picture of karts racing down a hill, with the path going zig zag.

"Go-Kart Race?" Blitzo replies, curiously.

"It's when people race against each other with a Go-Kart. There are different kinds of Go-Karts, there are some with engines, pedals, or without either one and race down a hill," Marina explains.

"Cool!" Blitzo says, sounding excited, "Can we enter the race?! It sounds so much fun!"

Malcolm looks at the poster and says, "According to the poster, the race is for anyone from 5 to 18, so we all can enter."

"It also says that anyone under twelve must be accompanied by those over 12, even in the race," Marina says.

"Great!" Blitzo says.

"Yeah. Let's enter and try to win it. Plus, this could be fun," Malcolm says.

Marina then says, "But first we should finish doing our errands and get the stuff to the circus, and ask our parents if it's okay."

"Yeah. Let's do it," Blitzo says.

The two older siblings begin laughing with big grins on their faces.

Sometime later, after getting permission from their parents and signing up at the race, the three friends are going over the rules.

"Okay, according to the rules of the race, we need to build the go-kart ourselves, and it will be a pedal car with breaks of course," Malcolm says.

Seeing the rules, Blitzo also notices, "Hey look, it said that we're all able to ride it, and the kart in the race and hold up to four people. We can race down there together."

"There will be first, second, and third prizes, along with special prizes. One for the most creative and unique kart, one for best teamwork, and there's even one for even one for good driving skills," Marina says.

"Sounds cool," Blitzo says.

"Well then, it's best we get started, the race is only five days away," Malcolm says.

"Don't worry Malcolm, as long as we all work together, we'll get the kart together, and maybe even win the race," Blitzo says.

Then Marina says, "Well, we better get started. I'll draw a design and then we can add some of our own patterns on it."

"Great. Malcolm and I can go get the supplies we need to build it," Blitzo says.

"And put the kart together," Malcolm says.

"Yeah!" Blitzo cheers.

Marina happily smiles, "Sounds like we're going to have so much fun building it thanks just racing in it."

Shortly after, Marina draws the go-kart design. She makes sure it has an aerodynamic round frame on the front, and writes the racing number '7' on the front of the car. On the side, she also writes the name of the Cirque De Eccentrical on the sides of the car.

Marina nods, "Looking good so far."

"We're back, Marina!" Malcolm's voice calls out.

Marina looks up to see Malcolm and Blitzo return with the different supplies. Malcolm pulls on the wagon while Blitzo pushes from behind.

"I think we got everything we need to build our go-kart. Paint, wood, seats, steering wheel, and other stuff we can use," Blitz says.

Marina giggles, "I can see thar. That's quite the load you got."

"Well, we have to make sure we got everything we need and extras just in case," Malcolm says.

He walks to Marina and asks, "So how's the design going?"

"Take a look for yourself," Marina says, and shows them the design of the kart."

Malcolm and Blitzo look at the go-kart design and it looks good.

"Wow. It looks good Marina," Blitzo says.

"Yeah. you even put the name of the circus on it," Malcolm says.

"Uh huh. I thought since we'll be racing together, I thought we can advertise while we're adding it," Marina says.

"Good idea," Blitzo says.

Then Blitzo suggests, "Can we decorate it with clowns and horses? Along with balloons, stars, and all kinds of cool stuff."

"Let's try not to overdo it," Malcolm says. "First, we need to build it."

"Okay," Blitzo says.

Then brings out the hammer, "Let's do it."

And with that, the three siblings begin to build their go-karts. Of course, they had to get help from their father with some of the drilling stuff, but some of the roles like measuring, hammering, nailing, and such are some of the things they can do on their own.

Two days have passed, and the go-kart is looking good. They've already got the kart all built as Malcolm places the old chairs for the seats, one for each of the siblings at the front, and a small trunk at the back.

"The go-kart is looking great so far," Blitzo says.

"Yeah. We're almost there," Marina says.

"Now all we need to do is paint the kart, the number, and the design and then put the wheels, the pedals and steering wheel on, and then the kart is done," Marina says.

Then Blitzo asks, "So who's going to drive the car?"

"I think Malcolm should, he is the oldest," Marina says.

"Yeah," Blitzo says.

"Good idea," Malcolm says.

"So what color should we paint it?" Marina asks.

Blitzo holds out the red paint, "How about red? Red is my favorite color."

Marina giggles, "Works for me."

"Sure. And maybe we can put white stars and a yellow comet on it," Malcolm says.

"And don't forget the circus name on the side and our racing number at front," Marina says.

"Don't worry sis, we remember," Blitzo says.

Marina asks, "Did we got everything on the kart?"

"Let's see," Malcolm says, checking the car, "We got the kart all set up and secured. We got our seats in place. Along with the steering wheel, and the pedals. And let's not forget the breaks for the kart. Seems that we got everything here," Malcolm says.

Blitzo then sits on the wheels at the corner, "Don't forget the wheels. We need to place them on the kart after painting it."

"Well then, it's best we get started. The paint should be dry by tomorrow, and then we can put the wheels on," Marina says.

"Good idea, the race starts the day after tomorrow," Malcolm says.

Soon, the three siblings begin to paint their kart a bright red color. Once the red paint was dry, they painted the number seven on the front of the car. Blitzo also places some star stickers on the side of the car as Marina writes the name of the circus on the sides. Malcolm also paints a comet on the back. He nods to see how good it looks. Once the paint is fully dried, they make sure to put the wheels on their

A few more days have passed, and today is the day of the Big Go-Kart Race. The truck pulls over, and the Abercrombie family climb out.

Lucy then picks up Blitz in her arms, "Are you all ready to race?"

"We sure are mom, we worked on our kart all week," Blitzo says, excited.

Marina giggles, "We're all excited to compete in the race."

"Come on kids, let's get the kart out of the truck and get it to the starting line," Charles says.

Then asks, "You got the helmets and goggles?"

"Right in here, dad," Malcolm says, holding out the bag.

Sometime later, the Abercrombie Family is at the starting line and making sure the kart is all set up and secured.

"Looks like everything is still in order," Malcolm says.

"Yeah. I can't wait to race," Blitzo says, sitting at the front seat and turning the wheel as he goes, "Vrooom Vrooom Vrooom!"

"Just remember to have a good time," Charles says.

"And always try your best," Lucy adds.

"We will," The three siblings say.

Then Lucy says, "And remember to keep an eye on your brother, and make sure you all stay safe."

"Okay mom," Marina says.

"Good. We'll see you all at the finish line," Charles says.

"Okay dad," Malcolm replies

And with that, the two parents take their leave to meet their children at the finish line while the three siblings make sure their kart is all ready for the race.

Just then, a boy with brown hair, fair skin and freckles on his face, wearing a red helmet walks in with two others. One has tan skin and curly black hair, and the other has light skin and blonde hair.

"And who are you all supposed to be?" The boy with brown hair questions.

"We're racing. I'm Malcolm, this is my sister, Marina, and my little brother, Blitzo," Malcolm says.

"Hello," Marina says.

"Hi," Blitzo happily says.

The boy with the tan skin says, "Hey, what's up with the kid's skin?"

"Dude, that's kind of freaky," The boy with blonde hair says.

"Hey, why are you entering the race with him anyway?" The boy with brown hair questions, "There should be a rule against freaks competing."

Blitzo frowns and says, "Last I checked, anyone under 18 and over 5 are allowed to compete. I'm eight and I'm old enough to compete… of course, not without my brother and sister of course. And just so you know, just because I look different, doesn't mean I'm not allowed to compete."

"That's right," Marina says.

"Oh yeah. Well, you're a freak, red face," The boy with brown hair says, "And I say it's not fair for the rest of us to have someone like you in the race, especially since I'm going to win. So you should just leave now."

"No way! We've been looking forward to this all week. We're racing and there's nothing you can do to make us!" Blitzo says.

"He's right. You have no right telling him he can't race, just because he looks different," Malcolm says.

"Who do you think you are anyway?" Blitzo questions.

Before the boy with brown hair can answer, someone says, You listen, Baron Towers. You don't talk to them about fairness or say they can't race."

Everyone turns to see two girls. One has blonde hair in a ponytail, the other has red hair in pigtails. Both of them are wearing the same pink blouse, but the blonde girl with blonde hair is wearing light blue leggings, and the red haired girl is wearing a green skirt.

The girl with red hair says, "That's right, you have no right to tell them that. After all, your dad has someone who made your kart for you and your friends."

And soon, the other racers begin laughing at the brown haired boy, named Baron, along with his friends. The boy with blonde hair is Chris. The boy with the tan skin is Lenny. The three boys walk away with annoyed and scowl expressions.

The two girls walk to the three siblings.

"Sorry about Baron and his friends, they can be such a pain," the girl with blonde hair says.

She then says, "By the way, my name is Kelly, and this is my best friend, Shelly."

"Hello," The red haired girl, Shelly says.

"It's nice to meet you, I'm Blitzo. And these are my brother and sister, Malcolm and Marina," Blitzo says.

"Hey there, are you girls racing too?" Malcolm asks.

"We sure are," Shelly says.

"And we're going to do our best to win the race, but also hold to win for most creative design," Kelly says.

"We wish you the best of luck," Marina says.

"Yeah. We're going to try and win the race," Blitzo happily says.

Then Shelly says, "Well, we better get back to our kart, the race will be starting in the afternoon."

"Okay, we'll see you at the finish line," Malcolm says.

"Bye," the girls reply and take their leave.

As the girls leave, Baron and his two friends are secretly spying on Blitzo and the others. They soon take their leave with ill intentions in mind.

Baron says, "I'll fix those headaches. Come on boys, we got work to do."

Sometime later, before the race starts, Baron and his friends, Lenny, and Chris have some plan in mind. They all secretly walk down the tracks with some supplies, shovels, bottles of oil, ropes, arrow signs, and other kinds of stuff.

"Why are we doing this, Baron? We got the fastest kart?" Lenny asks.

"It wouldn't hurt to be sure we win this race," Baron says. He then begins to hammer the arrow sign in place, "Besides, I want to teach that freak show with the horns and his siblings a lesson they'll never forget."

Soon, they have the arrow sign in place, pointing it off course of the track.

They splatter oil on the ground, they dig a few pot holes on the ground and cover it with dirt and branches. They plan to win the race alright, but they plan to cheat their way into winning. They want to make sure they win the race.

Time has passed, and the race is about to begin. Everyone arrives at their station and is ready to race. Malcolm, Marina, and Bltizo are sitting in their go-kart and have their helmets and goggles on, and make sure to put on their seat belts for safety.

The announcer says, "Alright racers, start your Go-Karts."

All the racers have their karts ready, helmets and goggles on, and are ready to race.

The man in charge raises the flag, "On your marks… get set… GO!" and brings down the flag.

The kid pulls the lever, allowing the karts to go, and the race begins.

At front is Number Three where Baron, Lenny, and Chris are in. Car Number Seven is where Blitzo, Malcolm, and Marina are, and are in third place.

"Here we go!" Blitzo cheers.

"Yeah!" Malcolm says.

The race goes down hill and all the racers are bundled together.

Just then, one of the races falls for Baron and his friends' trick and goes the wrong way.

"That's weird, I don't remember being part of the race," Marina says.

Blitzo notices, "Look up ahead."

They look to see Baron's Go-Kart turn to the left, while another racer goes straight. Up ahead, both of the racers who have gone the wrong way crash into hay stacks.

Blitzo says, "Malcolm, follow Baron's car, that's the right way for us to go."

"Alright," Malcolm says, and turns left down the road.

Up ahead, Baron and his team are in the lead.

Chris looks back and says, "Someone is catching up to us."

"Any signs of that free and his siblings?" Baron asks.

"Not yet," Lenny says.

"Well, keep an eye out for them. We need to make sure they don't catch up to us," Baron says.

He looks ahead and says, "Time to set off the next trap."

And with that, Baron pushes a few levers and ropes are pulled up, blocking everyone's way. Soon, three race cars up ahead notice the ropes and are unable to stop in time. They end up getting stopped by the rope. The racers end up getting yanked off of their karts, and cause their karts to crash. One crashes into a tree, breaking it. The second rides ahead until it lands in the lake. The last one is Shelly and Kelly's kart. Luckily, their kart crashes into the bush, so it's unharmed or damaged.

Kelly asks, "Where did thes rope come from?"

"I'll bet Baron and his friends did this," Shelly says.

"You think Baron would cheat?" Kelly asks.

"I wouldn't put it past them," Shelly says.

Kelly looks behind, "Oh no, more racers are heading towards the ropes.

Behind, The Abercrombie's siblings are getting closer to the ropes. Marina notices,

Marina notices in shock, "Malcolm, there are ropes up ahead!"

Malcolm and Blitzo look ahead to see the ropes up ahead.

"There's no way around it," Malcolm says.

But then Blitzo has an idea, "Even under it."

"You're right. It's low enough for our karts to get through," Marina says.

"Hurry, duck your heads," Malcolm says.

And with that, the three duck their heads. With the idea, they're able to duck under the ropes and get past safely.

Blitzo looks back, "We made it."

Marina looks back and calls out, "Is everyone alright?!"

Kelly calls out, "We're fine, just keep going!"

"We'll catch up with you guys soon," Shelly says.

"Okay!" Marina calls out.

"That's weird," Blitzo says.

"Yeah. I'm getting a feeling someone has sabotaged the race," Malcolm says.

"But who would do something like that?" Marina asks.

"Well, Baron and his friends are in the lead, and they seem to happen after they pass," Malcolm says.

"Do you think they're the ones who set those traps?" Marina asks.

"It's possible. For now, we need to keep an eye out for more tricks that's being played," Malcolm says.

"Right," Marina and Blitzo agree.

Up ahead, Baron and his friends are still in the lead.

Lenny notices, "That freak and his siblings are gaining on us."

"Don't worry, we're still in first place," Baron says.

He smirks and says, "Besides, there's no way they're going to get past the oil spill on the road."

"And there they are," Chris says.

Further ahead is the large oil spill. Baron and the others lean to one side and are able to lift the right side of the Kart for them to race past the oil. Coming up ahead is Kart 7, Shelly and Kelly's kart, and a third kart is coming ahead.

Blitzo notices something, "Hey, what's that stuff on the road."

When the yellow kart rides ahead, it ends up slipping on the wet puddle, revealing to be oil. It sends the kart spinning and out of the road, and crashes into the tree.

Marina eyes wide in shock, "It… It's oil!"

"And we're heading right towards it!" Malcolm exclaims.

Then Blitzo has an idea, "I know, we can lean to the side and ride past it."

"It's worth a try," Marina says.

"Let's do it. It's now or never," Malcolm says.

The three then lean to the right and barely able to lift their kart to the left. Which is just enough to get past the oil spill on the road.

Blitzo calls out, "Shelly! Kelly! Look out, there's oil on the road!"

"We see it!" Kelly says.

And Kelly and Shelly perform the same stunt Blitzo and his brothers and sister do.

Up ahead, Chris notices, "It's the freak and his siblings, and those girls from before. They made it past the oil."

"At least they won't get past the pot holes we have planted," Lenny says.

"We'll make sure of it," Baron says.

Baron continues to drive the race cars and since he knows where they all are. He's able to move from side to side.

Blitzo notices Baron swerving side to side, "Hey guys, I'll bet he plants something ahead."

Marina looks ahead to notice, "I think he had potholes. There are patches on the road."

"Alright everyone, hang on," Malcolm says.

Malcolm continues to drive the kart as he swerves across the areas with the pot holes. Shelly and Kelly soon notice what's up and perform the same method.

Marina says, "Look, we're catching up to Baron's car."

Chris turns to see the Abercrombie siblings' car, "They're gaining on us."

"Not to worry, we have our secret weapon," Baron says.

With a push of the button, something begins to make a vrooming noise, like an engine.

Marina notices, "What's that sound?"

"I don't know, but it's best we start pedaling, the finish line is not far now," Malcolm says.

Blitzo says, "Yeah. time for pedal power."

With that, the three siblings place their feet on the pedals and begin pedaling together, making their kart go faster. However, Baron's car seems to be going faster. The Abercrombie siblings pedal as fast as they can, but aren't closing in at all.

Baron says, "We're gonna win."

"Yeah. And it's thanks to the engine we secretly had in the trunk," Chris says.

"The trunk?" Baron questions.

"We had to hide the engine somewhere. You know the rules don't want us to use an engine for the kart," Lenny says.

"Yeah. We can get into trouble," Chris says.

"That's true…" Baron says.

But suddenly, they hear a strange noise coming from the trunk.

"What the…?!" The boys exclaim in shock.

And just then, there is a small explosion coming from the trunk of the car, and a small fire is breaking out.

Baron cries out, "Fire!"

"The trunk is on fire!" Lenny cries out.

"Put it out!" Chris panics. And grab the wheel.

Baron panics, "Hey, stop Chris! I'm driving."

"We gotta stop and put the fire out!" Lenny panics.

"But we'll lose the race!" Baron angrily says.

"We'll be kicked out of the lake if they find out we have an engine in the trunk," Chris says in a panic.

The boys are so distracted and in a panic that they end up driving off course and soon drive into the lake. Luckily, the water is able to put out the fire, and the boys quickly jump out.

"Nice job Baron!" Chris says.

"ME?!" You're the one who put the engine in the trunk!" Baron shouts.

Then Lenna argues back, "You're the one who decided to use that engine, and try to cheat."

And with that, the three boys begin fighting against each other as their car drowns and burns from the fire.

Back on the race track, the Abercrombie Siblings continue pedaling and racing on the tracks, and are closing in on the finish line. Shelly and Kelly's go kart is just behind him.

And soon enough, two go-karts cross the finish line as the women employee waves the checkered flag.

Then the announcer says, "And Go-Kart Seven crosses the finish line, taking first place, with Go-Kart 8 crossing the finish line, taking second."

Everyone happily cheers with excitement.

In Kart 7, Blitzo, Malcolm, and Marina are very happy.

"We did it!" Blitzo cheers.

"We won!" Malcolm cheers.

"We really won!" Marina happily says.

Shortly after the race, Blitzo, Malcolm, and Marina received their first place prize and won the teamwork ribbon. Mainly because despite all the hitches, they all work together to dodge Baron's trap.

Shelly and Kelly won second place and won the creative design ribbon.

Another boy takes third place, and it's the same boy who has gone the wrong way at the beginning of the race.

The three Abercrombie Siblings hug each other as they hold their trophy and have smiles on their faces.

Flashback Ends:

"And that's how we won the Go-Kart race," Blitz says. "Soon after all the racers cross the finish line, they discover what Baron and his friends have done and are immediately disqualified for what they did."

"What happened to them after that?" Octavia asks.

"Well obviously they got in really big trouble from their parents, especially since some of the kids in the race got hurt. They had to pay for damages, got grounded for a month, and had to do community service, starting by cleaning and fixing the track. Not to mention write an apology for the Go-Kart Race organization, and the racers," Blitz says.

"Well, that is certainly a harsh punishment. Of course, they certainly got what they deserve," Stolas says.

"Well one thing for sure, you and your siblings earned that trophy, and the teamwork ribbon. You all made a great team," Barbie says.

"Thanks, but the best part of the race is building it with Malcolm and Marina. I have to say that building the kart and racing it with my brother and sister is the best part, whether I win or lose," Blitz says.

"What a nice story," Octavia says.

"Yeah, it was," Blitz says, and looks at the photo.

Stolas notices the sad smile on Blitz's face and asks, "You miss them, huh."

"Yeah. I miss them every day," Blitz says.

"I know Blitz, but remember. We're here for you now," Stolas says, and hugs Blitz, "We're basically your family now."

Blitz chuckles, "Oh Stolas."

Then Mimmy asks, "Daddy, can you build me a go-kart, too?"

"Maybe when you're a little bigger," Blitz says.

Then picks up Mimmy, "And we can build it together."

"Yay," Mimmy happily says, and hugs her daddy.

Then turns to Octavia, "Maybe we can make it big for me and Via, and maybe Loona to go in."

Octavia laughs, "I don't think she'll be interested, but I'm sure she'll love to watch you race."

"I agree. I'm sure she'll love to watch you crash someone into dust if you compete in a race someday," Barbie says.

And then everyone begins laughing with smiles on their faces.
