Halloween Special Part 1: The Halloween Invite
One afternoon in the IMP HQ, Sarge and the other demons of the company are in the meeting room, relaxing and simply doing something to keep themselves occupied. Mainly because business has been rather slower unusual.
Randall sighs and lies his head on the table, "Ugh, there's nothing for us to do. We haven't had any clients for a whole week."
"I know what you mean, work has been slow," Berry says. "What's more, there hasn't been anything interesting going on."
"Yeah. No fun. No action. No party. Not even any killing. I'm bored out of my mind," Millie says.
Moxxie gently strums his guitar, "I have to agree. I'm even starting to feel bored."
Mimmy lies on Loona's lap, "Loona, I'm bored."
"Me too," Loona says, lying on her chair.
"I think we're all bored," Barbie says, and lets out a yawn as she covers her mouth.
"I think it's safe to say that the lack of clients or action has turned many of us into lazy couch potatoes," Sarge says, walking into the office.
"You said it, boss," Randall says.
"No kidding, dad. There's nothing to do," Loona says.
"I'm sure we can think of something. Other than acting like lazy couch potatoes," Sarge says.
"Then what do you think we should do?" Barbie questions.
"I'm not sure, but we should come up with something," Sarge says.
Blitz then brings out his phone to check on any messages and emails out of boredom. Looking at his Email, Blitz notices that he receives an email, and it reads 'Mario Santiago Ferandez.'
Blitz opens the email to notice an attachment on it. He presses on the screen and the attachment full screen to see an attachment.
It's actually an invitation is white, decorated with orange jack o'lanterns, black bats, a witch's cauldron with a green skinned witch, a pale yellow full moon, a spooky tree, and writing in orange, black green and purple. 'Join Us For A Halloween Party Extravaganza' 'October 31st. At the Old Griffs Estate. Welcome to Bring Friends and Family along.
Along with other details about the party, even Mario's phone number.
"Huh, this looks like fun," Blitz says.
"What's fun, daddy?" Mimmy asks, lifting her head up.
"I just got a Halloween Invite from Mario," Blitz says.
"Who's Mario?" Millie asks, curiously.
"Mario?" Barbie replies, confused, "You've never mentioned him before."
"Well Barbs, Mario is actually an old friend of mine. He used to work at the circus with the help of equipment, special effects, and such. He then decided to leave and started working as a party planner for parties, weddings, and other festivities," Blitz says.
"So you've mentioned a Halloween Party?" Randall asks, taking an interest.
"Yeah. Mario is inviting me to a Halloween Party at the Old Griffs Estate," Blitz says.
"Estate? Like a mansion?" Loona asks, arching an eyebrow.
"Yes. However, the place has been long abandoned and hasn't been torn down. I heard about the place though, but some people believed the mansion is haunted," Blitz says.
"Haunted?" Moxxie questions, arching his eyebrow
"Is it scary?" Mimmy asks, sounding uneasy.
"Kind of is, but from what I heard, around ten years ago, the mayor had the old mansion renovated, so it can be used for festivities, mainly for Halloween. I've never been there, but I heard it's a great place to use for a Haunted House, Halloween Parties, and other festivities," Blitz says.
"So what did your friend Mario say?" Barbie asks.
Blitz then begins to read the letter.
Dear Blitzo,
How are you and your family doing in the circus? I've been having a grand time being a party planner, getting to see many different places all over the world, and also having a wonderful family. This year, I'm helping host a Big Halloween Festival at the Old Griffs Estate in Seattle by the Mayor himself. I've invited Candy, Claude, Tim, Andy, and they agree to go. RSVP to let me know who you're going, and you're welcome to bring guests. The more the merrier, and remember to dress up it's Halloween after all. Hope you're able to come and have a Happy Halloween.

Excited, Mimmy asks, "Can we go, daddy? Can we go to the Halloween Party?"
"Sure. It sounds like fun," Blitz says.
Then turns to the others, "You guys wanna go to the party too?"
"A Halloween Party sounds awesome!" Millie says.
"I would love to participate in it. I hear even demons travel to Earth to try out their Halloween fun. I always wanted to go," Berry says.
"Really? Demons go to Earth for Halloween?" Blitz asks.
"Well duh," Barbie says, "Demons go to Earth, but we never showed our form to them. However, on Halloween, it's the perfect time to go without our human disguises."
"Barbie's right," Drew says, "It's the time of year that it's okay for demons to go as they are, but some of us, like Succubi and Incubi, like to disguise ourselves as humans and dress in costumes as well to join in the fun."
"It's the time of the year that demons are able to go to Earth without any humans freaking out about it. Because they'll think we're humans in costumes," Berry says.
"So of course, Berry and I would love to go," Drew says.
"Fuckin awesome! I was getting bored anyway, so I'm in for a par-ty!" Randall says.
"I'll go too," Razor says.
"I wanna go too," Millie says.
"A Halloween Party on Earth will be a nice change of pace," Moxxie says.
"Sounds good to me," Razor adds, shrugging his shoulders.
"You can count me in," Barbie says.
"I suppose going to a party will be nice," Sarge says.
"If you all are in then I'm in too," Loona says, "Besides, this could be fun."
"Great. I just know we're going to have a fun time," Blitz says.
Then Randall says, "Hey Blitz, maybe you can ask if Stolas and Octavia would like to come. I'm sure they love to go to a Halloween Party and not one of their family's boring masquerade balls."
"What's so boring about masquerade ball? That sounds like a nice party to go to," Blitz says.
"Believe me, the Goetias' kind of parties are so boring, it would be enough to put Asmodeus to sleep," Randall says.
Then Razor turns to Blitz, "Still, you should give Stolas a call and see if they want to come."
"Okay. I'll give them a call right now," Blitz says.
Blitz then begins to make a call to Stolas.
At Stolas' home, the Goetia Mansion, Octavia is sitting on the living room couch with a frown on her face and her arms crossed. She lets out a sigh and responds and lowers herself on the couch.
Just then, Stolas walks inside, "Hello Via, what got you so down?"
Via groans, "It's because mom is practically going to force us to the annual Goetia Ball Uncle Andrealphus is hosting. Unless we come up with a better idea to do on All Hallows Eve."
"I know, darling. Honestly, I don't want to be at the same party with your mother and uncle. But unless we have other plans, your mother will be shouting at me until we both attend. I just know I'm going to get an earful from her before the ball," Stolas says.
Via sighs, "And another argument after the ball if we don't attend."
"Yes, yes it will," Stolas says.
"Are you sure there's not much we can do?" Octavia asks.
"Not much, darling," Stolas says, "It's not like an excuse is going to fall on our laps."
Just then, Stolas hears his telephone ringing. Stolas turns to see the phone ringing and wonders who can be calling. Just then, smoke comes out and it says, 'Blitzy is calling'.
Stolas quickly rushes over and picks up the phone, "Hello Blitzy…"
"Hey Stolas, how are you and Via doing?" Blitz replies.
"We're doing okay, just discussing a little dilemma we're having. Nothing to worry about," Stolas says.
"I see. Anyway, are you both planning for anything on October 31st?" Blitz replies.
"Um… not exactly but um…" Stolas replies, confused. "Why do you ask?"
"Well, I've just got an invitation from my old friend, Mario from the living world. He's inviting me to a Halloween Party on Halloween. There will be food, games, music, and it's a big costume party, so you're welcome to wear a costume. The gang and I are going to go and though we ask if you and Via would love to go," Blitz explains.
"A Halloween Party in the Human World? That sounds like a fun idea. Truth is, Via and I were trying to get out of going to a ball my former brother in law is hosting, and we need to have something better to do. Otherwise Stella will force us to go," Stolas says.
"I see," Blitz says, "So it's basically perfect timing the invite came."
"Indeed. I would love to attend the party. I haven't been to the Human World for a party in a long time," Stolas says.
Then turns to Octavia, "What do you think Via? Blitz and the others are going to a Halloween Party in the Living World, and the others are going to come."
"Sure. It sounds like fun," Octavia says.
Stolas nods and turns to the phone, "Via said she likes to go. So you'll be having two more guests."
"Fantastic, the guys and I are going to head back to the palace after work to talk about what costume to wear. We'll see you after work," Blitz says.
"I'll see you later, Blitzy," Stolas says, and hangs up the phone.
Stolas then turns to Octavia, "Well Via, It looks like we've found just the excuse we're looking for."
"Yeah," Octavia says with a giggle, "Talk about perfect timing."
Sometime later, Blitz and the others have already arrived and are in the palace library to come up with ideas on what they should wear for the party. Some of them already have ideas.
"So what do you guys plan on dressing up for the party?" Loona asks.
"Millie and I are going to do a pairing costume from The Phantom of the Opera. She's going as Christine and I'm going as the Phantom," Moxxie says.
"Sounds suitable. You both love music, especially Moxxie," Randall says. "I'm going as a fire breathing dragon, and Stolas is going to help me with that."
"And how do you want me to do that?" Stolas questions.
"Easy, you can use your grimoire to turn me into a…" but before Randall can finish, Stolas says, "No."
"The fuck do you mean 'no'?" Randall questions.
"My grimoire doesn't turn demons into dragons. Turning demons into other species of demons, yes, but not dragons, nor do I think it's a good idea to turn yours into one," Stolas says, "You'll just have to make your costume, buy your costume, or better, you can paint yourself to look like one."
"Fine," Randall says, annoyed and looks at one of the books about dragons.
Stolas looks at the book as he thinks, "Hmm, I'm not entirely sure on what I want to be, especially with how tall I am."
Octavia thinks for a minute, "Well, maybe it will be better to come in your human disguise and come up with a costume for that. That's what I'm doing. I'm going as a witch and Mimmy agrees to be my black cat."
Mimmy giggles, "Yeah. Witches always have black cats in pictures."
"Those sound like nice costumes," Blitz says with a smile.
"What about you two?" Randall asks, turning to Drew and Berry.
"Well, we're going to do a pair like Moxxie and Millie are. We're having trouble deciding what to do exactly," Drew answers.
"We either plan to dress up as a Japanese style prince and princess or merfolks" Berry says.
"Both of them sound good," Blitz says, as he looks at his phone for the pictures for his costume.
"What about you, Blitz? What are you going to be?" Stolas asks.
"Well, I'm actually going to be a Ghost Pirate," Blitz says.
"A ghost pirate, that sounds so cool," Randall says, taking an interest.
"Yeah. I got the idea from this mobile game that my sister has been playing," Blitz says, and tries to remember, "I don't fully remember the name of the game but three characters were wearing the same costume. Hmm, I think the game is called Something Wonderland…"
"I think it's called Twisted Wonderland. She showed it to me once as well," Barbie says. "And I'm going as Harly Quinn. I've seen this cool outfit she was wearing during my travels in the living world, and I like to try that one out."
Berry turns to Razor, "What about you?"
"Well, I'm going to do a simple costume, either a construction worker, a mechanic, or maybe one of those strong men, like Juma," Razor says.
Sarge sighs, "Meanwhile, Stolas and I have no idea what kind of costume we should wear."
"I'm sure you both will think of something. I'm planning on dressing up as a Punk Rocker," Loona says.
"Sounds cool," Octavia says.
"What's a Punk Rocker?" Mimmy asks.
"A Punk Rocker is a kind of singer or even a music artist," Loona says.
"That sounds cool," Mimmy says.
"Sure is," Octavia says.
Loona then has an idea, "Hey dad, maybe you can go as a kind of swordsman."
"A swordsman?" Sarge replies, confused.
"Yeah, since you love to carry the sword you got from Zain, maybe you can have a costume that matches the sword. Since it's a Japanese sword, why not be a Japanese warrior, A samurai," Loona explains.
Sarge thinks a bit and says, "Huh. I haven't thought of it."
"I remember. There are different swordsmen that use swords. Since you're a tachi sword, a Japanese warrior would be suitable for it," Blitz says.
"That's a good point," Sarge says. He thinks for a minute and says, "I suppose a samurai will work."
"I agree. They do seem to be suitable to your appearance and the sword," Blitz says.
"Good idea," Loona says.
Stolas sighs, "Now I'm not the only one who doesn't have a costume."
"Actually dad, I have an idea for you," Octavia speaks out.
Stolas turns to Octavia with a confused expression.
"Well, I was thinking that you can use a costume for your human form, and I know just the one to use," Octavia says.
"And what will that be?" Stolas asks.
Octavia then shows a picture of her idea, "A Vampire."
"A vampire?" Stolas questions, "Aren't those the immortal beings that are supposed to drink the blood of people and even control them with their hypnotic eyes? And beings that can only live during the night?"
"Those are the ones," Blitz says.
"You have to admit, you do seem to have the clothes for it, and your human form does have somewhat of pale skin," Berry says.
"And you have the long neck for it as well, not to mention being tall as well," Randall adds.
Stolas frowns, "Thank you for the comment."
"Still, I think a vampire is a good costume for you," Blitz says.
"Yeah. I'm sure you have the attire that's close to it," Drew says.
And Berry smiles, "And I think we can give you a touch of makeup to make you more vampire-like."
"Um, thank you. I suppose being a vampire could be a good idea," Stolas says.
Randall snickers, "Yeah. In fact, maybe you can give Blitz a good bite on the neck and suck his blood. I bet it would look very sexy."
Stolas and Blitz blush to hear that comment. And then, Berry throws the book at Randall in the face.
"Are you stupid or something?" Berry asks with a frown, "No really, are you really this stupid?" And then says, "Nevermind that, you really are stupid."
Razor rolls his eyes, "Typical Randall."
"Still, it's kind of cool to hear that it's being held in an old mansion," Octavia says.
"Yeah. It's going to be at the Old Griffs Estate," Blitz says, "However, I've never been there before, but I actually heard the mansion is supposed to be haunted."
"You've mentioned that before. What do you mean that the estate is haunted?" Moxxie replies, confused.
"Oh, that's because people believed that the soul of an actual real vampire was supposed to be sealed within the house," Blitz says.
"VAMPIRE?!" Everyone ask in shock
"Like an actual vampire?" Moxxie questions, dumbfounded, "But there's no such a thing as vampires?"
"Uh Moxxie, we're fuckin' demons to pete sake. Humans don't think we exist, and yet, we're real, living, breathing, demons," Randall points out.
Moxie is about to say something, but quickly realizes he's right, "Touche."
"Still, a vampire's soul sealed in an estate? How's that possible?" Octavia asks, curious.
"It actually sounds cool. Like something out of a horror film," Loona says.
"So what's this vampire about, exactly?" Stolas asks.
And with that, Blitz explains, "Well, according to legend, The owner of the mansion, Anastasius Griff, was a wealthy man who was known around the town. However, he was actually a vampire who plagued the town for years. Those who have been bitten by the vampire, as well as been given his blood and survives, becomes one themselves. Those who haven't died, while those who did were forever in his control and service. One day, he falls in love with the mayor's only daughter, named Angelina and wants her to marry him. He resorts to kidnapping her and plans to force her into marriage, even resorting to killing her father. But then, the girl's older brother, Thomas, and her fiance, Adrian, join together with others from the villagers and attack the mansion. Luckily, the brother and fiance were prepared and equipped the villagers with means to destroy the vampires inside. The brother and fiance fight Anastasius and are barely able to defeat him by forcing him into the first daughter of sunlight. Even though his body's destroyed, the vampire's soul continues to attack. However, Adrian was able to get the vampire sealed in a silvermade box, with a holy cross on top. And so, they sealed the vampire's soul inside the basement of the mansion, and used Holy Water, Silver, and Holy Items around the chamber to keep the vampire within. And the villagers have lived in peace ever since. Legend has it, the vampire's soul still remains in this house, waiting to be released to find a body to possess to claim the town as his own."
"That sounds scary," Mimmy says, frightened and hugging Octavia.
Octavia shivers, "That's creepy."
"Really creepy," Loona says.
"That's very disturbing," Sarge says.
"True, but it's mainly a legend, although there's some truth to it," Blitz says.
Then Randall says, "I think it's cool that a vampire is in there, or at least, a soul of one."
"Maybe, but it would be cool to be going there and have a Halloween Party there. I can't wait," Berry says.
"I think it's safe to say that we're all excited to go," Octavia says.
"You said it. Beats having to deal with your family's boring party," Loona says.
She then says, "No offense."
"None taken," Stolas and Octavia reply.
"Well then, now that we know what costume we want to wear, let's start getting some stuff to make them," Randall says.
"I can't wait to start the halloween party," Razor says.
"Me too," Mimmy happily says.
"Well then, now that we got our costume idea, it's best we get started," Stolas says.
Weeks Later…
It's Halloween and the day of the Halloween Party at the Griff's Estate. Everyone is meeting in the mansion's ballroom where they'll be leaving for the party. Stolas, Octavia, and Mimmy are already dressed in their costumes.
Stolas is in his human form, and his costume is a vampire. He is wearing a well dressed shirt, under a burgundy vest with gold buttons, a white jabot ruffle neck tie around his neck with a red jewel in the center, a black cloak, a black top hat, along with wearing black pants and black boots, and is holding a cane.
Octavia is in her human form and dressed as a witch. She is wearing a black long sleeve knee length dress with tears on the bottom, and the dress is decorated with pink stars, black boots, and wears a black witch's hat. She is holding a boom stick and a magic wand.
Mimmy is also in her human form. She is dressed in a black cat suit with black paws, black cat ears headband, and her nose and cheeks are painted to look like a cat's nose and whiskers.
Mimmy happily giggles and says, "Meow."
"You seem excited, huh," Octavia says.
"Yep," Mimmy says.
Then asks, "Where's daddy?"
"He and your Aunt Barbie are still changing, the others should be here soon," Stolas says.
Soon, the door opens and everyone else begins to walk into the ballroom.
The first is Sarge, and he is in his human form and is dressed in a dark red and black color Hakama with his sword, and wears Japanese shoes and socks.
Next is Loona, who decides to go in her human form and also has her ears and tail attached. She is dressed as a punk rocker. She wears her spiked collar with spike bracelets and fingerless gloves. She is wearing a black tank top with a red upside down pentagram painted on it. She is also wearing a black vest with studs on the collar. Along with a black, white, and gray plaid skirt, black tight shorts underneath, and black boots. She is also holding a guitar.
"Hey guys," Loona says.
"Hello," Sarge says.
"Hey Loona, that's a cool costume," Octavia says.
"Thanks. I thought it would look cool to have my ears and tail along with the costume," Loona says.
Then says, "Nice costumes."
"Thanks," Octavia says.
Mimmy happily says, "I'm a black kitty."
"I see," Loona says.
Soon, Moxxie and Millie enter the room.
Moxxie in his form is dressed as the phantom. He is wearing a black suit with a white button up shirt underneath with a white bow tie. He is also wearing a cape, a half faced mask, and a cape.
Millie is also dressed in her human form, has her hair done in small curls and wears a beautiful white gown like Christine Daae. She also has a touch of make up and wears white heel shoes.
"Sorry we're almost late. Millie and I needed to adjust our costumes," Moxxie says.
"No worries, you're all arrived just in time," Stolas says.
And the others walk into the room.
Razor is in his human form dressed as a Construction Worker. He is wearing a white shirt, blue jeans, brown thick boots, a hard hat, an orange with yellow striped vest, and a tool belt with a few tools.
Randall is actually in his demon form, but does his best to make himself more dragon-like, sharp claws, dragon-like tail, and even also get some clothes that match his skin and make himself look frightening.
"Hey guys, we made it," Razor says.
"Yeah. Take a look at my cool costume. I thought it would be cool to use my human form to help make it realistic," Randall says.
Razor turns to Randall, "Just remember to be careful of and not let humans notice your demon form."
"Relax, I got this handled," Randall says.
Soon, Drew and Berry enter the room as well, and they're both dressed in royal kimonos. They both decide to have a Japanese Prince and Princess, with Avery's help, of course. Drew is wearing a crimson red and black traditional sokutai, with japanese shoes and holds a fan.
Berry is also wearing a beautiful red, purple, and pink kimono with a dark red belt around her waist. The kimono has a lovely white lotus flower pattern. She has both her hands in her sleeves and other. She is also holding a pink japanese, decorated with red flowers.
"So guys, what do you think?" Berry asks.
"Wow. you both look great," Millie says.
"I agree," Moxxie says, "Did Avery make them?"
"He did. We told him about our costumes and the Halloween party and agreed to help us make it," Drew says.
Just then, Berry notices, "Hold on, where's Blitz and Barbie?"
"We're here," Barbie says.
Then Blitz says, "Sorry about that, Barbie and I had a little trouble with some of our accessories."
The gang turns to see Barbie and Blitz walking into the room. Both of them are in their human disguise.
Barbie is dressed as Harley Quinn. She has put on makeup to make her face bleached white. Her long dark hair is still in pigtails, and the bottom of it has blue shades on the right and pink shades on the right. She is wearing dark red lipstick, pink and blue eyeshadow, black mascara, and a demonic grin when she's ready to fight. Barbie is wearing a skin tight short black and red strapped rubber/latex crop top with a star and a diamond on it, a black choker around her neck, black and red fingerless leather gloves, black and red skin tight rubber/latex briefs, and black and red sneakers with pom poms as well as thigh high socks with the same color. Although the bottom of her sneakers usually appear in plain white, they also appear with black and red footsteps and while one shoe has black with a red star, the other shoe has red with a black diamond. Of course, she is also wearing her usual jacket, and holding a mallet in her hand.
Blitz is wearing a ghost pirate costume. He is wearing a white long sleeve shirt with lace cuffs, the top of the shirt has the buttons loose, a crimson red waistcoat, black pants, and wears a dark gray trench coat with tears and tatters. The laces where the collar and cuffs on the coat are black and decorated with sea shells, pearls, gold coins, and rhinestone jewels. Black boots, with the same decor, a black belt over his shoulder. He also has a necklace that has a shark tooth and a gold chain necklace. Of course he is wearing his red skull charm on his belt. He also wears his gloves with the pearl bracelet. He is also wearing a black tricorn hat with the same decoration as the trench coat and boots, and has a red bandana underneath. He is also holding a cutlass sword with a gold yellow handle.
Stolas actually begins to blush to see Blitz's costume, and how handsome he looks in it.
"So what do you guys think?" Barbie asks.
"Damn, you both look so cool!" Drew says.
"Yeah. I really like your outfit, Barbs," Berry says.
"Thanks," Barbie says.
Randall turns to Stolas, "So Stolas, what do you think of Blitz's costume? It looks wicked, huh."
"Um yes," Stolas quickly flustered.
He calms himself as he approaches Blitz, and says, "You have a very dashing costume, Blitz," but his cheeks are flustered.
"Thanks. I really like your costume Stolas," Blitz says.
"Thank you," Stolas says.
"Well, now that everyone is here. I say we get to the party for some fun," Randall says.
"Of course," Stolas says.
He then uses his magic to open a portal to the living world.
"Then let's go have some fun," Barbie says.
Soon, everyone walks through the portal to the living world.
