Here we go, Chapter 5 of Completeing the mission since we're done on the sad routes.

Makoto Naegi: Completeing the Mission Chapter 5
Route: Special BROvert Ops
"Okay seriously this is getting annoying with the sombre endings, I hope that is the last one" Nicole said patting her new plushie. She then makes her selections.
The first button was again Government Supported Private Investigator which included Makoto successfully stolen evidence for the Republic, teamed up with Kirishima, The Legion of Doom leadership was arrested and the L.O.D's airship was impounded.
The second button was International Rescue Operative which included Kirishima helping Makoto and his group escape the Stormcage and fleeing via helicopter
"Well, let's see how this does" Nicole said as she hit the launch button.
We open as Kirishima's airship was landing at the Republic's Jungle camp.
"Wow, you really going all out on this" Brass said exiting with the others.
"Yep, this is important to General Malcolm. He is the Republic specialist when it comes to the Legion of Doom and because of last time with the airship he earned his promotion" Kirishima said smiling as he leads them through the camp.
"Well, that's nice and we do owe you Kirishima for helping us out of the Stormcage." Makoto said nodding.
"Indeed" Nicole said with a smile.
They arrive at the main tent and enter seeing Jace at his desk Kirishima wave and said, "Hey general, we're here."
Jace looks up and smiles standing "Well, hey everyone glad you can make it. Perfect timing." He goes to a holo projector "I've been waiting for you four to get here so let's get right to business."
"Yeah, what is it you need help with?" Nicole asked curious.
Jace turns on the projector and a surveillance image of the Legion of Doom's jungle base is shown with the rocket prepared. He explained "We've found out the remnants of the Legion of Doom have been building some kind of rocket."
"I'm surprised they are still in business after Lex Luthor and Deathstroke were arrested" Makoto said surprised.
"The leadership has gone to who could be considered the third in command of that time Roman Torchwick" Kirishima explained.
"Indeed, and they have been gathering all the remaining members still at large as well as all there remaining supplies here in the jungle" Jace explained nodding "This includes every stolen item and treasure they have."
"So, if we stop them here we can capture every member of the Legion of Doom?" Brass asked surprised.
"Yep we can put an end to them here and now because if they are able to get there space station into orbit..." Jace said and the images changes to show an image of the Space Station of Doom that was computer generated in orbit "They'll be impossible for us to take down until the Justice League returned from their mission on other planets and this is time we don't have."
"That would be worrisome" Brass said nodding.
Jace turns off the projector and the lights on and looks to Makoto "Now I know you don't really owe the Republic anything Makoto as it was mainly Kirishima who helped extract you. But we could really use your help on this one." Jace smiles and added "Help us out with this and the Republic will owe you a big favour."
"Sure, I can help you out, after all Kirishima helped me only seem right I help you guys" Makoto said nodding
"Agreed" Nicole said nodding she hoped this ended better for Kirishima.
"I will help out too" Brass said with a smile.
"Good to hear" Jace said with a nod "Now Makoto you and Kirishima worked well together in the past. So, we figured you'd be the perfect troops for this operation. Nicole and Brass will work as your on-field support selection and co-pilot respectfully"
"Nice" Brass said with a smile.
"Yeah, so what do you say Makoto?" Kirishima asked smiling.
"Sure" Makoto said with a nod and smile.
"You can count on us general" Kirishima said to Jace.
Two Hours before Launch…
Makoto and Kirishima were in Kirishima's airship, Makoto was now in a Republic trooper armour with his green jacket over the armour torso.
Jace appears via hologram and said to the four "Now, we're really putting all our Womp rats in one bucket on this one soldiers, So don't let us down okay?"
"Don't worry general, we won't let you down" Brass said smiling.
We then come to the Jungle base and Makoto lands onto a building via parachute.
"Phew, so far so good" Makoto said relieved.
"Yeah" Nicole said appearing on Makoto's helmet display "Now first we…."
"Hey, er guys…." Brass said on the comm.
"What's up guys?" Makoto asked.
"I know we just started and all but...well...I think we're getting targeted by a SAM Turret." Kirishima said.
"Really?" Makoto asked and Nicole taps his shoulder and points to their left and they look and see said turret next to them slowly beginning to aim at them.
"Yeah, we defiantly are" Brass said nodding "Could you maybe go ahead and do something about that please."
"On it, Nicole suggestions" Makoto said with a nod.
"I have four" Nicole said and shows them which were Stomp on the turret, use a drawing to distract the sensors, open the Panel and disable it or a cupcake.
Cupcake
Makoto takes out a cupcake he brought for a snack and eats it. Nicole shielding The Cupcake's eyes at this. "Mmm, good" Makoto said smiling.
However, this resulted in them failing to do anything about the turret that fires its missile and destroys the airship
"Oops..." Makoto said.
"Worth" Nicole said simply and resets.
Stomp
Makoto climbs onto the turret and begins to stomp and jump on the cannons to get them to point down. "Come on!" he said.
The cannons then go down and Makoto falls down, unfortunately it was in front of the cannon, and it fires and a huge explosion is seen from the distance of the base
Nicole staring at that said, "Saved ya, Kirishima and Brass" She then resets
Panel
Makoto smacks the panel opening it "Just rip out some wires and it should shut down."
"Hopefully" Nicole said with a nod.
Makoto grips some wires and rips them out of the turret. However, this caused the SAM turret to begin rapid firing all its rockets.
"Sooo...it sort of looks like the SAM turret's shooting all of its missiles" Brass said concerned and confused.
"That can't be right. Just want to make sure..." Kirishima said but was cut off from being it.
Makoto watches in shock and shame as all the missiles hit the airship and then winces when one big one hits it making it explode. "Yikes…."
Nicole wide eyed thinks and said "That kinda seemed like the opposite thing to do" she then resets.
Drawing
Makoto gets onto the SAM turret and finds the optic target and begins drawing something. We see from the SAM turret's optic targeting the airship.
However, a drawing of a cloud and it recalculates and deduces only clouds.
"We're not sure what you did, but it does seem to have done the trick! Nice!" Kirishima said smiling.
"No problem" Makoto said nodding.
Suddenly the sound of loudspeakers came on and Roman is heard said "The rocket will be launching very soon. I would advise getting on board immediately. If you fail to get on then that is tough, I will not hesitate to leave you behind." With that the loudspeaker turns off.
"Woah, we have to get you in there" Kirishima said as he piloted the airship closer to the base.
"We should be able to get you in there with one of these" Brass said sending the list.
"So, what we got?" Nicole asked checking "A Jet Pod, a trapeze or an invisible bridge."
"Hmmmmm..." Makoto thinks on what to use.
Invisible Bridge
"Send in the bridge" Makoto said with a nod.
There was a beaming noise but no sign of the bridge. Kirishima said "Alright, I've teleported that platform in for you"
"Are...are you sure?" Makoto asked concerned.
"Yes, we are, go ahead and just make your way across" Brass said with a nod.
"Okay..." Makoto said and carefully takes one step over the edge and fall off the side and crashes into the ground causing serious pain.
Nicole shakes her head and said "Oh no no no, they didn't put it THERE, silly." she then resets
Jetpod
"Let's use the Jetpod" Makoto said smiling
"Okay, sending down that Jetpod" Kirishima said nodding and launches it
Makoto sees it coming right at him "Oh no!" He cried and tried to get out of the way but too late it slams into him squashing him.
"Hey its your uber driver here...Am outside" Nicole said facepalming and resets.
Trapeze
"Let's use the trapeze" Makoto said smiling.
The airship moves over Makoto and a trapeze swing is lowered Brass said, "Alright Makoto, grab the thing and then we will fly you across."
"Hold on tight" Nicole said.
"Got it" Makoto said and grabs onto it
The airship flies up to the cargo hold entrance and Makoto swings in just in time as the hatch closes and crashes into the room full of the Legion of Doom's stolen treasures and supplies as well as a majority of the remaining members.
One member named Wario turns to his partner Waluigi and asked "So, what do you think of the new leader?"
Makoto seeing where he was quickly runs and hides at a good hiding spot.
Kirishima seeing this through Makoto's armour cam said "Oh geez, guess Jace wasn't kidding it looks like every Legion of Doom member still at large is on here"
"Yeah, we noticed" Nicole said
"I looked up at the schematic we acquired of the area..." Brass said looking at it "If you get to the engine room you can shut off the engine."
"Oh yeah and if the engine is shut off the rocket won't go and they will be stuck in here" Kirishima said with a nod. "So, me and Brass will create a distraction while you make a run for it to the engine room, got it?"
"Alright, got it. So any suggestions?" Makoto asked
"I have the suggestions" Nicole said showing it they could use a TV Broadcast, a Subsonic Wave or Remote Doombot
Subsonic Wave
Kirishima said "Alright, we're about to fire a subsonic wave and that should stun everyone that hears it."
"That sounds bad" Makoto said concerned.
"Yeah, you should maybe cover your ears" Brass suggested.
Makoto nods and covers his ears but then a bellowing wave is heard, and the room shakes and everyone including Makoto slams into the floor stunned by that
Unaware Kirishima said "Alright, coast is clear!"
"Erm...I think they are down to" Brass said when Makoto didn't respond or move.
Nicole shakes her head and said "Must've had it set it to 11" She then resets
TV Broadcast
Kirishima and Brass lower a large TV screen and turn it on to an episode of Friends with a scene with Joey and Chandler talking.
Looking out the window a villain known as The Wizard calls out saying "Hey guys, someone is streaming TV out here!"
With that and bored the Legion of Doom members in the cargo hole crowd windows to watch the TV
"I'm getting upset Joey!" Chandler mentions annoyed.
The Legion of Doom members laugh but then they hear another laugh that didn't match any member they knew and looks and see Makoto there laughing.
"Huh?" Makoto looks around seeing looking and seeing the eyes on him "Errr….hi..."
"What? It's a good show, Ross." Nicole said shrugging and resets quickly.
Remote Doombot (Remote Tophat)
"Alright, I know they have at least one of Dr. Doom's Doombot's aboard, I will just remote hack into it" Brass said
And with that a silver and green Doombot drone bursts out of the crate it was in surprising everyone it then starts dancing
"Yes. Look at me. I am a dancing robot." The Doombot said as it dances, and the Legion members were entertained gathering round and watching "Oh yeah. Check me out. Keep looking over here. Do not get distracted by other things."
With the whole cargo hold distracted Makoto uses this to hurry over to the doorway and stairs leading to the engine room and goes through to get to the engine.
We sees the exterior of the rocket as Makoto goes up and Kirishima on the comms said "That's it, just keep heading up those stairs and you'll hit the engine room in no time."
Makoto soon reaches a large purple engine and pants a bit tired, that was a lot of stairs.
"I am thinking this rocket has an internal engine room?" Brass said thinking "It probably manages all the electronics or something like that"
"No clue, we aren't rocket doctors" Kirishima said shrugging "Any way pals, do your thing"
"Alright, any ideas Nicole?" Makoto asked
"I have three" Nicole said "We can use a Wrench, this Red Herring fish or hit the Power Button"
"Hmmmm" Makoto thinks
Power Button
"Well, better try the simple way" Makoto said going to the console and sees the two power buttons he thought On and Off. He then hits the Off button.
"Err...It's not shutting down" Nicole said seeing the engine still working
"Err guys..." Brass said concerned
Outside a hatch had opened up and a laser comes out aimed at the airship and fires destroying it
Nicole sweat drops said "Everyone knows 'Off' stands for Offence." She shakes her head and rewinds.
Wrench
"Time to literary throw a wrench into the works" Makoto said holding the wrench and then slams it a few times into the engine console.
Suddenly the engine warps into a new and better version "What…?" Makoto said shocked.
The loudspeaker comes on and Roman said "Seems like the engine's ready sooner then we expected, that is a surprise. Let's get out of here!"
Makoto shakes as the rocket launches off into space, Kirishima and Brass watch this from the airship, Kirishima saying "This doesn't seem...right"
"Yeah..." Brass said nodding
"And that was only a level TWO engine!" Nicole said and restarts.
Red Herring
"Okay, let's just have this jam up the engine" Makoto said holding the fish and throws it into the engine
Surprisingly it works as the engine jams and stalls. The loudspeaker turns on and Roman said "It seems like we're having some problems with the engine, seriously...Can we get the crew to look into that?!" he said annoyed.
"Right, let's move" Nicole said.
"Got it" Makoto said and hurries to the ladder.
We then come to a fancy all like room filled with Legion members were more rich or senior members and the room was adorned with portraits of former leaders of the Legion of Doom
One-member Red Skull looks to a villain known as the Phantom Limb and asked, "Do you think we should be helping with the engine?"
"No, I heard they are sending someone from Storage to sort that mess out" Phantom Limb said.
"Oh, alright then" Red Skull said shrugging.
"Nice. Disabling the engine defiantly buys you more time" Brass said with a smile.
"Now, here is what I think we should do next. Makoto if you get to the cockpit..." Kirishima said describing his plan "You can gain control of the rocket, disable it and lock everyone inside."
"Oh yeah, then we can call in the reinforcements and we'll be able to make these arrests easily" Brass said smiling.
"Pretty good plan, right?" Kirishima said.
"Yeah, but first, I have to get through this room with all these Legion members" Makoto said looking.
"I have a few ideas on that" Nicole said and shows him using a Swapper device, Painting portal or Bug Juice injection.
Bug Juice
"Okay, let's see here" Makoto said and reads the label on the syringe.
It read 'This will turn the user into a bug. Be a fly on the wall and listen to hot gossip'
"Well...it says it lasts an hour" Makoto said and injects himself. He groans as he begins transforming and turns into a small fly. He then begins to fly across the room over the large gap in the centre.
However, he then instantly turns back in the middle and screams as he falls down the hole. Surprisingly the Legion Members weren't phased even Von Nebula who was looking in his direction.
Nicole looks at the syringe "Hmm. I guess it only lasts for an hour in bug years." she then resets.
Painting Portal
Makoto nods and looks to a painting of Black Mask and jumps into it
We are treated to Super Mario 64 Mission screen with the star being called The Masked Mob Boss.
Makoto spins down and lands on a platform where Black Mask was standing. The masked villains seeing Makoto said "Hey" He then pulls a gun and shoots Makoto killing him.
The screen then fades out with a cut out of the L.O.D symbol and sinister laugh.
Nicole blinks and said, "Gotta collect more of those extra life mushrooms." She then resets.
Swapper
"Oh by, it's another gadget reviewed by Entrapta" Makoto said looking at it "At least this one is not a Hyperion gadget and is an Atlas gadget."
"Yeah so let's see what it does" Nicole said looking at the card which read
SWAPPER
Instantly swap places with anyone!
Just point that rod at the person you'd like to swap places with. It's that easy!
"Me and Hordak use this every day! It's great!"-: Entrapta (2020)
Makoto nods and aims the rod at Von Nebula and pulls the trigger and the two swap places.
Von Nebula falls onto the floor and looks around "Whaaa?" He said looking around confused, what the heffle happened?
Makoto looks around seeing he was safely on the other end "Huh, guess it was Hyperion's fault then Entrapta's" He then moves to the elevator.
Outside near the top Kirishima said "Cockpit ic coming up. You should be able to gain complete control of the rocket from there."
"Provided the coast is clear" Brass said
They soon arrive and in there was Roman Torchwick who's back was turned but he heard the lift
"Oh good, tell me you fixed the engine?" Roman said and turns around and gasps pointing his gun cane at Makoto "Whaaa? Hold it right there!"
Makoto puts his hands up "N-No need to do anything hasty"
Roman moves closer when suddenly behind Makoto a brown and pink haired girl with brown and pink eyes and a similar outfit to Roman appears and removes his helmet and moves around to be with Roman. She was Neo, Roman's partner in crime and current Right Hand Woman.
"Wait...hang on a moment. I know you" Roman said looking at Makoto's face "You're that Makoto Naegi guy, the one who arrested the airship division...and the one Sideshow Bob says stole the Kyogre Sapphire. As a thief I respect the latter but I also know you're here now to bring down the rest of us."
Kirishima and Brass concerned on the airship get on the comms. Kirishima saying "Makoto? Nicole? Are you in trouble? If you're in trouble say Pork chop"
"No, if you're in trouble say nothing" Brass said and Makoto kept quite while Roman keeps talking
"You know I didn't even want this job as leader but someone had to step up" Roman said as Neo nods.
"Agh, I can't tell" Kirishima said annoyed and looks out the window and sees the situation "Oh, silly me I can see you from here"
"Oh, yeah that looks pretty bad" Brass said
"Do you know how hard it is to pick up someone else'sproject?" Roman said as he keeps on going "Let alone a rocket?"
"We got ya back pal!" Kirishima said
"Here is what we can do" Brass said sending the list to Makoto. A Sleep Dart, the Horn or an IR Sniper
"Luckily he is monologing so no rush" Nicole said to him
Sleep Dart
"Alright you go it, one sleeyboi and one sleepygirl coming up" Kirishima said deploying a cannon that charges up to fire the dart
In the room Roman keeps talking "...plan, me and Neo had to dig through mountains of paperwork to find it...And now of course"
The dart it fired but it just hits the window. Luckily Roman and Neo didn't seem to notice as there attention was on Makoto.
"Hm. Sturdy glass" Nicole said but it looks like she doesn't have to reset. But does so anyway.
IR Sniper
Brass goes to check some things in the back of the airship while Kirishima pulls up a sniper rifle
"I got this sniper rifle that spots out bad guys" Kirishima said smiling as he then moves out of the window using his feet to keep the airship busy "So I'll just take him out from here. Don't worry through, there's zero chance I'll hit you with this."
We see through the scope and indeed Makoto was blue while Roman and Neo were yellow. Just as Kirishima lined up his shop the airship goes out of control
"Uh oh, I'm losing control. Oh boy! Brass help! This is bad. This is really..." Kirishima said as Makoto sees the airship going out of control.
Unaware Roman said "And now of course, we're running late. I was just thinking. I can't handle another delay and then you show up."
"Ohhhh boy….Oh damn it and I've dropped my sniper rifle. Come on!" Kirishima cries out as the airship begins going down crazy like
"Don't worry almost got control! Almost got it!" Brass said on the comm "There we go! No...nope we're..."
A huge explosion is heard as the airship crashes and Makoto winces.
"Well at least I can take revenge on behalf of the Legion of Doom. So, I got that going for me, I guess" Roman said and Neo nods in agreement giggling
"Let's see YOU fire a gun while piloting an airship" Nicole said and rewinds.
Horn
As Roman is talking the airship lowers a large horn. "The old leaders left details for this plan, me and Neo had to di..." He then yelps as a large horn sounds making both him and Neo jump and the leader canehis cane across the room.
Makoto lowers his hands ready to fight.
Roman said "Okay then, let's…." he was interrupted with Makot punching him knocking the man out. Neo attempted to attack but Nicole appears and with a swift kick knocks her out.
"You guys did it! Now, you just gotta lock it up!" Kirishima said smiling
"On it" Makoto said and finds the button and presses it to lock the rocket, much like a car.
"Alright, time to call in the reinforcements" Brass said as she calls it in and soon other republic airships begin to arrive on the scene.
Makoto and Nicole begin to pull Roman and Neo to the lift and they near on the comms of the rocket a Legion member say "Uh, sir, Neo? You might wanna get us out of here. We've got the Republic coming right now at our front door."
Makoto and Nicole grin at that and high five each other.
"Sir, hello?" The Legion said concerned and worried "Can you at least open the locks and let us get to our weapons!"
It didn't take long the Legion of Doom was left defenceless, those who didn't need weapons due to powers or always wearing them were eaisly handled by the Republic forces and soon arrested and escorted off the rocket.
Makoto and Nicole handed Roman and Neo to some Republic soldiers.
"Guys!" Kirishima said and runs over and along with Makoto do a victory guy hand hold to congratulate each other on having each other's backs "Nice work man!"
Nicole and Brass hugged each other happily. The former asking "So is this all of them?"
"Yeah, this is every last remaining member getting hauled off" Brass said breaking the hug.
Jace Malcolm then walks up smiling and said "Fine work indeed your four. You really do make a fine team. I am promoting you all to special forces team covert ops agents."
"Wait what? I know Brass is in the process of being official but Makoto and Nicole aren't even enlisted" Kirishima said surprised in that
"Well, they are now." Jace said and looks to the two "Unless of couse, you don't want it…
"Well, what benefits will we get?" Nicole asked
"Well we can sort those details out but I will say you will be running a lot more missions together with Kirishima and Brass…"
Makoto smiles and looks to Kirishima and Brass who smile and then to Nicole who nods "Sure, let's do it"
And so it was Makoto and Nicole were enlisted, of course he spent a few days to be with Kirigiri to explain everything and some down time before going off on his new career.
The four became known as the team to accomplish nearly the impossible due to there trust in each other. They were such friends they were known as the Special Brovert Ops team. Either way the villains of the planet best be careful of these four.
