Chapter 73.
Himura and Hashira, the family secrets.
Hiro watches through the window as both teams are about to face each other, charging at each other, he is eager to see how things will end. – "Of course, as if it were that simple."- Hiro thought and then pressed a button. – "Let the game begin!"-
Meanwhile, both teams charge at each other, but before they can even start fighting the ground opens causing everyone to fall into a hole. – "What the…"- Yamikumo acts quickly and uses his telekinesis to stay in the air, then tries to do the same with the others but Alpha, who uses his chains to cling to the ceiling, traps him with his chains, making him lose concentration, thus preventing Yamikumo from preventing the others from falling into the hole.
Quickly, once everyone, except Alpha and Yamikumo, falls into the hole, the ground closes again.
- "So this was the plan... to separate us."- Yamikumo said.
- "Indeed."- Alpha said as he let himself and Yamikumo fall to the ground. – "Everything is going according to plan."-
- "I see... still, that won't change anything!"- Yamikumo said.
- "We'll see."- Alpha said and they both charge at each other clashing their respective swords.

Meanwhile, the rest fall through a hole that doesn't seem to end. – "Very well... what happened here?"- Stain asked.
- "It seems like they already had all this planned..."- Lady Nagant said.
- "It doesn't matter..."- Dabi said as he lights his arms with fire. – "The important thing is to..."- Dabi doesn't finish speaking as a large piece of ice tackles him, causing him to fall onto a platform in another room.
- "Dabi!"- Toga said but she couldn't do anything as Cheetah grabbed her by the collar of her sweater and threw her towards another platform.
- "It seems like they want to separate us!"- Lady Nagant said and then was caught by the unknown man being carried towards another platform.
- "I see... individual fights."- Stain said as he dodged Spinner and then used his sword to stop his fall by stabbing it into the wall. – "So be it."- Stain pushes himself off and falls onto another platform, in front of him Spinner lands.
Back with Dabi, he falls against the ground, in front of him there is a large piece of ice floating in front of him, on top of the ice is the white-haired woman. – "Ice... It's always ice."- Dabi said.
- "So you are Dabi... the bearer of blue flames... I must say you are handsome, a shame I have to kill you." The woman said.
- "Your quirk is manipulate ice..."- Dabi said.
- "Yes, but it's not just manipulating the ice..."- The woman said as the temperature around begins to drop. – "I can also generate it!"-
The woman attacks Dabi with a blast of ice which forces Dabi to defend himself with a blast of fire. – "I see... ice quirk and white hair... So you're a Himura." – Dabi said.
The woman raises an eyebrow. – "You know about the Himura?"- She asked. – "Well my father was a Himura, but my mother wasn't, she could shoot fire from her fingers."-
- "So you are the daughter of a blood traitor..."- Dabi said.
- "I see that you are well informed about Himura traditions."- The woman said. – "My father never agreed with the nonsense of blood purity and that is why he married my mother, however, when Himura found out about this, they murdered him and my mother, I was saved thanks to my powerful ice quirk."-
- "Your quirk saved you?"- Dabi asked.
- "The Himura saw my powerful ice Quirk and decided to use me to gain power again since it had been a long time since a Himura had been born with the ability to both generate and manipulate ice."- She said. – "They wanted to use me as cattle, so I used them instead, using their resources I managed to strengthen my quirk and when the time came I killed them all, now only holdovers from the Himura family remain."-
- "Revenge, huh?"- Dabi said.
- "They took away everything important to me! From that moment on, nothing but the desire for revenge drives me to move forward!"- The woman said. – "I will not rest until the last pure-blooded Himura is exterminated!"-
- "It seems that we are more similar than it seems."- Dabi said.
- "How are you and I alike?"- The woman asked.
- "You are not the only one who is the child of a blood traitor Himura, my mother is also a Himura."- Dabi said. – "My father is Endeavor, and I inherited his quirk factor, fire."-
- "You are like me..."- She said.
- "Like you, my father only wanted me because of my powerful fire quirk, but I was discarded when he saw that my body had inherited my mother's resistance to cold."- Dabi said. – "Just like you... I have my own revenge to fulfill!"-
- "I see... I wish we had met before..."- The woman said and then attacked Dabi with several blocks of ice. – "But my duty is to defeat you!"-
- "Funny...I was just going to say the same thing!"- Dabi attacks the ice blocks with a burst of fire, managing to stop them and begin to melt them. – "It doesn't matter how strong your ice is! Fire will always melt it!"-
Dabi attacks with a burst of fire against the woman who receives it squarely but does not receive damage as she covers her body with a thick layer of ice. – "Of course... as long as the fire manages to heat the ice enough to melt it!"- The woman said and then made the layer of ice she protected herself with turn into several ice spears. – "I'll make you regret ever standing up to me! The cold assassin, Yuki-Onna!"-

Yuki's quirk allows her to control ice at will, after much training Yuki managed to unlock a new technique of her quirk and now she can generate it too.
Yuki throws the spears at Dabi who has no room to dodge them. – "Shit!"- Dabi throws both of his fists back while concentrating all of his flames into a single point, then throws his arms forward, emitting a massive blanket of flames with which he protects himself from the spears. – "Hell's Curtain!"-
Suddenly, Yuki appears behind Dabi, still on top of the ice block she uses as a hovercraft. – "Not bad, but that won't be enough!"- Yuki attacks Dabi with a strong blast of ice at point-blank range, managing to trap him in the ice.
- "Dammit… She got me..."- Dabi thought.
- "This will be quick, don't worry!"- Yuki said as she rises into the air and creates an ice joust in her right hand.
- "I'm resistant to ice... but I can't move like this!"- Dabi thought.
- "Let's get this over with!"- Yuki charges at Dabi, ready to attack him with the joust.
Without thinking, Dabi lights his flames and surrounds his body with fire, managing to free himself from the ice just in time to duck and dodge Yuki's attack. – "The one who will die here will be you! Hellfire Storm!" - Dabi attacks Yuki with a strong tornado of fire which destroys the piece of ice that Yuki was on and knocks the woman down.
- "Dammit…"- She said.
- "You underestimated me and that was your mistake!"- Dabi said, starting to show a few scars from the fire. – "The same mistake my father made!"-

All for One guard, shortly after the Hosu incident.
- "Tell me Tomura-kun... did I ever tell you the story of the Himura and Hashira families?"- All for One asks his apprentice, Tomura Shigaraki.
- "No, it's the first time I've heard those names."- Tomura said.
- "They are not names as such, they are two surnames of two families."- All for One said. – "The Himura and the Hashira were families that existed since the time of the rise of the quirks, they existed even before I built my empire."-
- "And then? Why are you telling me that? That was more than a hundred years ago, they must no longer exist."- Tomura asked.
- "It's because, in a way, both families still exist." – All for One said. – "The Himura still exist today and the Hashira genes are widely spread throughout the world."-
- "I still don't understand why you are telling me this."- Tomura said.
- "The Himura and the Hashira were the first families to have hereditary quirks, meaning that their descendants were born with the same quirk factors as their parents."- All for One said. – "The Hashira were great users of fire quirks, while the Himura are great users of ice quirks, it is thanks to them that ice and fire quirks are quite common today."-
- "So the origins of the fire and ice quirks are them..."- Tomura said.
- "Yes, but that's not the interesting thing, both families were rivals during their best times, all due to their different ideals."- All for One said. – "For their part, the Himura believed in blood purity, resorting to only relating to each other, thus maintaining their blood purity, while the Hashira believed in the opposite, they believed that it was best to share their genes with other people, that is why fire quirks are much more common than ice quirks."-
- "What a history class..."- Tomura said.
- "And I'm just starting... these two practices led to interesting things."- All for One said. – "In their prime, the Hashira and Himura were much more powerful than fire and ice quirk users today, both families had special techniques exclusive to their family."-

- "Currently, any ice quirk user can only either generate ice but once generated cannot manipulate it, or manipulate ice but cannot generate it by itself."- All for One said. – "In ancient times, the Himura were capable of accessing the Complete Control technique, where they were capable of both generating and manipulating ice, however, due to the lack of genetic diversity when relating only to each other, this technique was lost."-
- "Complete Control..."- Tomura said. – "And what about the Hashira?"-
- "The opposite happened to the Hashira, because their blood became too diluted over time, they lost access to their special technique, any user can both manipulate and generate fire, but the Hashira's special technique is the Pure Combustion."- All for One said. – "Any user of a fire quirk has a Hashira ancestor, but the Hashira surname was lost over time because as they related to different families, it got to the point that no male was born with the ability to pass on the surname."-
- "What is pure combustion?"- Tomura asked.
- "The color of the fire is due to the impurities in the fuel used for combustion. Pure Combustion generates cleaner combustion and therefore a different color of fire, blue fire is an example of clean combustion."- All for One said.
– "So... if these special techniques were lost, what does it matter?"- Tomura asked.
- "That's because, if somehow, a "pure-blood" Himura and a descendant of a Hashira have a child together... the lack of genetic diversity of the Himura and the dilution of the Hashira blood when they come together allow the child resulting from that union can access those techniques."- All for One said. – "If the child is born with ice, he or she will be able to access Complete Control and if he or she is born with fire he or she will be able to access Pure Combustion."-
- "They are somewhat specific conditions."- Tomura said.
- "Indeed, currently there are only two people who managed to unlock these special techniques, a boy who can use blue fire and a girl with the ability to generate and manipulate ice."- All for One said.
– "Now that you mention it... there's a guy at UA, Endeavor's son, who is capable of using fire and ice."- Tomura said. – "What's the matter with him?"-
- "He's someone interesting... it's the first time someone was born with both ice and fire."- All for One said. – "Endeavor is special in himself, he is the only person to have a direct Hashira relative, his mother was a Hashira but being a woman Endeavor took her father's last name, Todoroki."-
- "So what?"- Tomura said.
- "I don't know, but we'll have to keep an eye on him."- All for One said.
- "So, if you steal the quirk of that blue fire boy or that girl with complete control, would you be able to use those techniques?"- Tomura asked.
- "No, to use those techniques I need to have Hashira and Himura blood."- All for One said. – "If I steal those quirks I will not be able to use the techniques and they will revert to before unlocking those techniques, the fire will be normal and the ice will either only be able to manipulate it or I will only be able to generate it."-

Fire and ice collide again, the fight between Yuki and Dabi became intense. – "Your fire can be stronger than normal!"- Yuki said. – "But we have all studied our enemies, I know all your techniques, son of Endeavor!"-
- "Is that so…"- Dabi said as he creates a wall of fire to protect himself from Yuki's ice attack.
– "That's right, I studied all your fights thanks to Alpha who was collecting information from you!"- Yuki said. – "I know all your techniques!"-
Yuki covers himself in ice and hits Dabi in the stomach with an ice punch. - "I see... so Alpha was always our enemy..."- Dabi said surprising Yuki having stopped the fiery punch. - "But there are things that not even Alpha could collect!"-
Suddenly, Dabi's temperature starts to rise. – "Flashfire Fist!"- Dabi releases a large amount of fire which knocks down Yuki but she is saved by making a large piece of ice catch her.
- "He can use that technique?!"- Yuki said in surprise as she falls to the ground as her ice melts from the temperature. – "That won't be enough to defeat me!"-
Yuki attacks Dabi with a blast of ice. - "There are many things that you don't know..."- Dabi said as he countered the ice blast with a fire blast which managed to hit Yuki and knock her down. – "Not only were we traveling during these months... We have trained and developed new techniques!"-
Yuki backs away and attacks Dabi with ice blocks.
Dabi dodges the ice blocks and approaches Yuki. – "I feel like my skin is starting to burn... I have to finish this now!" - Dabi thought as he managed to approach Yuki. – "Feel the power of my flames!"-
- "Shit!"- Yuki thought as she saw that Dabi was in front of her and placed his right hand on her chest.
- "This technique is not for you... but it will be a good practice for effectiveness."- Dabi said as he released a large amount of fire that covered the entire room as well as Yuki's entire body. – "Hellish Punishment! Hades!"-
The room is consumed by fire, Yuki falls to the floor and the only one standing is Dabi who has his entire right arm with burns as well as part of his face, chest and left leg.
- "I win!"- Dabi said.

Back with Yamikumo, he continues his fight against Alpha.
Yamikumo dodges the chains while at the same time cutting them with his Katana. – "I had forgotten how strong he was..."- Yamikumo thought as he attacks Alpha with a burst of fire, however Alpha raises his right arm and the fire appears to hit an invisible barrier. – "What the…"-
- "I am not the same as before... I have been improved!"- Alpha said. – "Now I have more quirks!"-

Quirk: Forcefield.
Alpha's quirk allows him to create force fields. However, only one can be created at a time and the force field can only block from one direction.
The strength of the force field depends on the strength of the user.
The quirk belonged to an unknown person.
- "I see… This will be more complicated than I thought..."- Yamikumo said. – "Even so... I'm not going to give up until I achieve my goal..."-
- "I won't let you kill Chairman Hiro."- Alpha said.
- "Indeed... killing Hiro is one of my objectives... but not the main one."- Yamikumo said while dodging Alpha's attack.
- "And what would that objective be?"- Alpha asked.
- "It's something personal and I'm glad the others have been separated from us..."- Yamikumo said as he lights his arms on fire. – "Tell me something Alpha... Is Zack in there?"-

Another chapter finished and yeah.
We've started the fights and the first one seems to be over... but I'll tell you this once and for all... it hasn't, it's just a little cliffhanger.
In this chapter I focused on the lore of the Himura family and their rival family, the Hashira.
I hope you liked what I invented.
I realized that in My Hero Academia, users of ice quirks can only generate or manipulate it, so I came up with Complete Control as a special technique of the family lost in time.
According to me, and correct me if I'm wrong, we only know three ice quirks.
Rei's, which she shares with Fuyumi and Natsuo, which can only generate ice.
Shoto's ice half that can also only generate ice, and by this I mean that after firing the ice attack they cannot manipulate that ice, that is, they cannot grab it and use it with their quirks.
Finally we have Geten who can only manipulate ice as he himself explained in his fight against Dabi.
On the fire side, since Dabi is the only one who can use blue fire, I don't count the time Endeavor used it since that is exclusive to the anime and, therefore, a filler, I came up with the special technique of Pure Combustion and the Hashira family.
As I said, I hope you liked it and believe me that this will be important in the final arc and our favorite two-color hair boy.
Dabi debuts his new technique, Hellish Punishment, Hades, it is like a variant of Shoto's technique, Great Glacier, Aegir, only with fire.
Like I said, things are just getting started and don't take Yuki out of the equation yet.
The next chapter we have a small preview at the end of this, finally the, not so secret, secret of this story will be revealed, the identity of Alpha, many of you already know who he is.
