Raider didn't even bother asking any questions as all of Ruby's friends were clinging to the edge of their seats, wanting to know if Ruby is gonna be okay and that nothing happens to her. I don't think they realized that Ruby is basically the main, main character and that there are about seven more volumes to get through.

(Volume 2 Intro)

Ruby was thrown across the ground, "Wow, you are much more manageable without that oversized gardening tool of yours," Roman chuckles as he stands over the girl.

Ruby gasped, offended, "Crescent Rose is not an oversized gardening tool!" Pouting, she crosses her arms, her cheeks puffing out as well.

"That's what you got offended by? Not the fact you were thrown to the ground?" Weiss asked incredulously.

With a bit more fight in her, Ruby strives to attack the man, but Roman simply steps out of the way, laughing as Ruby falls to the ground. "Oh man, y'know, Perry, I really did need this," Behind him, Perry gives the boss a silent thumbs up.

"I'm gonna kill that man," Yang growls.

"Hey, I wanna join in on the fun!" Nora screams, Ren just sighs beside her.

Roman chuckles for another few moments before coming down to Ruby's level, weapon against her throat. "But seriously, how'd you find this place Red?"

Ruby grunts, making a break for it a second later. Roman gives a loud exclamation of surprise as he turns around to see Ruby running to one of the railway tunnels.

Come on me!

Roman holds out Melodic Cudgel, flipping it the other way, the hook facing Ruby. With a click the handle becomes a grappling hook, shooting out and latching onto Ruby's cloak.

Dang it.

"I see you got some tricks up your sleeve," Roman starts, slowly reeling Ruby in in the process, "Let me make this clear, we're not through here yet." A large boom in the distance catches Roman's attention.

"The rescue party has arrived! Hopefully…" Nora shouted, but lowered her voice for the less positive part of that sentence.

"Oh, what the…Perry, if you and the boys could take care of that, kind of in the middle of something." Perry nods his head, the group and him about to go over but an even bigger explosion occurs. "What is going on here?!"

Four White Fang members run away from another explosion, one member continued their fire but ultimately went with the rest. Roman narrows his eyes with Ruby looking in the distance. Dr. Oobleck and Team WBY make their presence known.

Some people in the room couldn't help but cheer even when they knew they were the ones behind the explosion.

Roman groans in frustration and Ruby takes this as her opportunity to escape; she's bound onto Roman's shoulders and pulls his hat over his head, obstructing his vision. Roman throws her to the ground and when he gets his hat situated Ruby is already off. "Somebody kill her!" Roman yells. Not a moment wasted Roman and the other White Fang members open fire.

Miraculously, Ruby evades every bullet, this leads to Roman bending Melodic Cudgel in agitation. "Attach this car and spread the word, we're starting the train." Roman tells one of the members, but he informs him that they aren't finished. Roman pushed him against one of the cars, weapon to the neck, "Do it or you're finished." The member coughs as Roman releases him.

Ruby's still running, but she's looking behind her. When Ruby looks forward there are already four White Fang members about to shoot. Ruby hurridley skids to a halt, but before they can shoot the four of them are blasted every which way.

Yang lets out a breath she never realized she was holding, thankful she could get to her sister in time and that her sister is gonna be okay.

Yang feels a hand on her shoulder, she looks over to see Blake giving her a comforting smile, sensing her inner turmoil.

"Ruby!" Yang shouts as she twirls Ruby around in a massive hug. Weiss worriedly asks if Ruby is okay.

"I'm fine, I'm fine, but listen, Torchwick's got all sorts of weapons and robots down there." Blake voices her confusion as she hands Ruby Crescent Rose, "Androids, mechs, they're all loaded up on the train cars."

"Ah, that's ridiculous, the tunnels are sealed, the tracks lead to a dead end," Dr. Oobleck states, when he finished Weiss's expression was morphed into fury.

"So, the trains are just going to basically crash into a wall?" Jaune asked, raising one of his eyebrows. He basically asked what they were all thinking.

A horrible screeching sound grabbed their attention as Roman spoke through the tunnel's intercom, "Get to your places, we are leaving now!"

Puffs of air eject out of the bottom of the train as it starts moving. Yang yells that it sounds like the train is going somewhere. Ruby pulls out her scroll, "We need backup, let me call Jaune." Her scroll dials but it proved to be futile as she doesn't have any signal.

Ruby supposes that would never have worked, they're all underground for Oum's sake, where would she get any signal from? It was worth trying anyway.

Ruby shouts in dismay as she can't get through, this leaves Weiss to ask what they're even going to do. Dr. Oobleck looks forward, eyes narrowing, voicing that they only have one option. Ruby loads Crescent Rose, converting it to its scythe form as she looks ahead, "We're stopping that train."

Without a moment to waste team Rwby and Dr. Oobleck had gotten themselves on top of the train, and Weiss was currently keeping a hatch open. "Alright children, you must get to the front and stop this train!"

"Uh, professor," Weiss begins, but is cut off when Dr. Oobleck corrects her, "What's that?" Weiss points to the box with blue and red wires.

"Is that a bomb?!" Jaune cries out.

"Why would they need bombs?" Ruby was with Jaune, wouldn't having bombs on the train be a bit counterproductive? What if one of the bombs accidentally went off, then it would just trigger the rest and everyone would be dead.

"They might have put them there as a last resort, in case their whole plan failed," Blake analyzes.

Dr. Oobleck took a knee as he observed the object, "That, my dear, appears to be a bomb." Hearing this information all four of them recoil in shock.

"We've got baddies!" Ruby shouts as she points to all the incoming White Fang members, there's even more waiting in the car below.

"Well, I didn't expect them to go-" Dr. Oobleck was cut short as the bomb began its detonation, the screen red as it started to beep, "Easy on us."

He just had to jynx us, Weiss seriously has had enough of this man and honestly couldn't take much more.

"Time to go!" Dr. Oobleck ordered but held Blake back for a moment, "Blake detach the caboose, it'll kill us all!"

Blake hopped down to where the cars connect, but she wasn't able to detach as it did it by itself. Blake tells him this, and the man gives a quick 'what' as a response. "I guess he really doesn't want us on this train." Yang joins as she looks down at Blake.

Dr. Oobleck looks up as he sees the car getting farther and farther away before exploding. Dr. Oobleck comments that things aren't exactly good at the moment. "And neither is this," Ruby grabs the other's attention to another bomb. This causes Blake to scream in utter panic.

"No, no, no, no!" Dr. Oobleck rushes past the four, checking the next hatch up ahead to find another bomb, "They all have bombs!"

Now was the appropriate time to panic, how would they be able to get to the front of the train in time to avoid all the bomb explosions?

"They're gonna make it out of this, right?" Pyrrha turns to Raider with worry etched all across her face.

"Of course they're gonna make it out of this, there's still seven volumes you guys haven't seen yet." Everyone let out an enormous breath of relief, "I also wasn't going to just stay silent and give you a blank stare, that's just mean."

Repetitive beeping came from the bomb on the car that Team Rwby resided on top of, alerting them of its approaching detonation; the same car detaches itself from the rest with a click. The group quickly made their way to safety before the car could drift too far.

As the car falls behind Yang shouts that none of this makes sense. The four turn around to find a large group of White Fang members vastly approaching, one Faunus with antlers yells for the others to get the humans.

Team Rwby rush forward, prepared to fight. First up was Yang, kicking a member in the knee, bringing him into the air. In slow motion, Yang gives the guy a wink before returning to normal speed, punching him into the car below.

"That was a bit too easy if you ask me," Yang gave a stretch and an over exaggerated yawn.

Blake sped forward, knocking three members off the train alone, before taking care of the others with a few slices from Gambol Shroud, one in particular even goes flying, his cries decreasing as he got farther and farther away.

Was that meant to be comical? Blake couldn't seem to find the humor in it as she heard Yang and Nora give a few laughs of their own.

Weiss darts herself forward, freezing every White Fang member that stands in her way; using Myrtenaster she pierces any remaining members. Ruby smiles as she sees it's her turn, loading Crescent Rose she bounds forward, finishing off the rest of the White Fang members on the car with a single blow.

"Yeah! Man, I wish I could be there, adventure follows you guys wherever you go!" Sun wished he could have wacky antics like that back in Vacuo, it would be so much more fun.

Dr. Oobleck looks back, witnessing the explosion of the previous car, and it also happened to blow a hole in the roof of the tunnel, thus allowing massive waves of grimm to access the tunnels.

"Well, shit…" Yang's reaction was understandable as grimm huge and small followed the train.

To say this was bad would be an understatement, everyone sat in their seats with copious amounts of apprehension. Not only were they in deep trouble with Roman, the train leading to a dead end, and the bombs, now they had an immense number of grimm to deal with. They hadn't even gotten close to the front of the train.

They all tried to hold onto the hope Raider told them earlier, they all make it out of this, they'll be fine, but the only question is how they managed to make it out of this.

"He's leading grimm to the city!" Upon hearing this from Dr. Oobleck Weiss lets out a shout of disbelief.

It's always me and my reactions to whatever he says.

"It's the cars! They detach and explode, creating openings for the grimm!" Dr. Oobleck continues. Another car detaches after Blake's exclamation, "We have to hurry! You three, go below and try to stop those bombs!" Dr. Oobleck yells as he makes his way over to the girls.

"What about us?" Ruby questions. Dr. Oobleck makes a heroic pose, repeating what Ruby had said before. "Yeah, I know, I said that earlier," Ruby's statement caused Dr. Oobleck's expression to deflate.

Yang gave a small chuckle, finding the moment funny and hoping to lighten the mood a little bit because the air in the room feels as cold as ice.

All of them make their venture to the front of the train. From up ahead, members of the White Fang enter the many Atlesian Paladins. One of them climbs up on the previous car, giving charge as they race towards the three.

Yang was very confident in her sister's fighting abilities, but that was a whole mech that's locked and loaded, she didn't want her baby sister to get seriously injured.

Dr. Oobleck points and shouts at the incoming paladin; said paladin lifts itself into the air, landing directly in front of the three. Dr. Oobleck takes a large gulp out of his thermos, alternating it into its weapon form.

Zwei gives the man a bark, telling him he was ready.

"He's not gonna do what I think he's gonna do, is he?" Blake is seriously hoping she's wrong.

"I think he might…" Blake's question was rhetorical and she really didn't want anyone to answer but Weiss did so anyway.

Zwei launches himself in the air, allowing Dr. Oobleck to hit him like a baseball. Zwei flies in the air, his body surrounded in flames similar to a fireball, destroying the paladin in one go.

The room was stunned into silence, having no idea on what to even say. There wasn't even a scratch on him, no singed fur, nothing. Is Zwei even a normal dog? An impact like that would have killed an animal his size. Too many questions, so little answers.

"That. Was. Awesome!" Nora shouts for something that honestly shouldn't be encouraged.

"How is he still alive?" Weiss had so many questions, and she wanted answers to all of them.

"This is the same dog that could fit in a cylinder package, this dog is beyond normal. Was he like this back in Patch?" Blake was extremely disturbed as she looked to Yang, scared for an answer.

"How freaked out would you be for me to say stuff like this is commonplace with him?" Blake really didn't want to have any encounters with this anomaly of a pet.

The paladin was thrown off the train and onto the rails where it was run over by all the precious cars, exploding. Another paladin made itself known.

Zwe simply barked at it, but before it could do anything it was destroyed by Dr. Oobleck and Melodic Cudgel.

Blake, Yang, and Weiss dropped into the car below. Weiss hands Blake capsules of dust, saying it should help her. Blake takes them wordlessly, pulling out Gambol Shroud.

The three rush forward, but were stopped by Neo who fell from above. "You two go on ahead, this one's mine," Yang wanted to finish what she never got to start the last time they encountered.

"I've been waiting for this moment!" Punching her fists together, Yang plans on happily watching herself beat this girl to a pulp.

Yang fires a distracting bullet, allowing Blake and Weiss to easily get past the girl and into the cars up ahead. She doesn't attack, slowly walking towards the girl before pausing, looking down at her.

The size difference was honestly amusing, Yang so much larger than the girl both in height and stature. Yang couldn't be more confident in her ability to win this fight, and she was all too happy to watch.

But, Yang is about to witness that size goes both ways. Both big and small have their own respective advantages.

Neo sends Yang a smug smirk, agitating her. Yang is the first to attack but does nothing as Neo sends her stumbling back with her weapon, Hush. Neo unfurls Hush, resting gently on her shoulder. Yang charges, repeatedly punching left and right as well as a few kicks but they do nothing as Neo uses lithe body to avoid every single one.

"What the-" Yang couldn't believe this, she hadn't even landed a hit once and Neo is barely even doing anything!

All Yang is doing is pushing Neo back. Neo evades all of Yang's attacks, blocking them with Hush then proceeding to throw her to the ground. As Yang is on the ground, Neo finally goes for a hit, slamming her foot down Yang, though the girl quickly gets up to avoid it. Yang blindly rushes forward, but that's only rewarded with a jab to the eye and a kick to the stomach, sending her backwards.

Neo cartwheels behind her, and Yang jumps up, firing for it to only be blocked by an open parasol. Yang doesn't land a single thing as Neo repeats obstructing Yang's attacks before chipping at her with a closed umbrella. Yang blasts at Neo's feet, the quiet girl flips herself before perching herself on one of the car's boxes, the same smile plastered on her face.

As Blake and Weiss run through the car a large man drags a chainsaw across the floor, the thing making a horrendous and jarring noise. "You go on ahead," Blake gives her affirmation as the man powers the weapon.

Yang couldn't be more glad that the attention was off her, she didn't know how long she could've stood to watch that fight. Now she can focus on cheering for her friends.

"Go Weiss!"

"Kick his butt!"

The fight hadn't even officially started and they were already cheering like it was the sudden death round.

Together, both Weiss and Blake deflect the man's attack, thus allowing Blake to run past him in the process. Now it's just Weiss and him and the girl doesn't waste a second, hitting the man with constant thrusts and strikes, knocking the man off his feet. Weiss gives Blake a reassuring smile as she looks back to make sure she's okay. In this time, the man gradually gets back on his feet, laughing gruffly, "Finally, I get to kill a Schnee."

With the advantage of knowing his every move, I'd like to see him try. Weiss hums to herself as she eyes the screen.

Weiss doesn't falter, pointing Myrtenaster at her foe.

Blake stands before Roman, glaring. "Hello kitty-cat, miss me?" "

There was a harsh scoff, it didn't take a genius to know who it came from.

"Y'know, we really gotta stop meeting like this, people are gonna talk." Roman grunts as Blake lunges forward. He goes for a hit with Melodic Cudgel, but Blake uses her semblance, leaving fire in the form of herself. One touch from Roman causes it to explode, throwing him into the air. Blake follows after him, beating right back into the ground.

Blake draws both parts of her weapon, ready for whatever Roman plans to throw at her. Roman attempts to blast her but Blake does the same thing, this time out of stone. Jumping in air Blake makes an illusion for Roman to attack.

Once that disappeared, it was a furious battle as Gambol Shroud and Melodic Cudgel clashed together. Blake retreats creating an ice version of herself that Roman gets himself stuck in. As Roman struggles to get his weapon free, Blake bounds back, releasing a massive blade of energy that crashes into Roman, sending him into the metal door, Melodic Cudgel flying out of his grasp.

"Yeah Blake!" Bouncing on the couch only to miss the cushions and crash onto the floor, Ruby grunts as she mumbles about her butt hurting.

"You're such a dolt…" Weiss sighs as she shakes her head at her partner.

"Aside from that, Blake, you were awesome!" Yang turns to her partner with an infectious smile.

"Well, I haven't done it yet," Blake attempts to brush off the compliment, but she underestimated her friend's insistence.

"But it will happen, and you'll do just as great then as we're watching now," Yang made it sound like she was saying a fact rather than a statement.

Blake tried to fight the blush coming from her friend's constant praise of something that hasn't even happened yet.

Roman aims to get back up, but Blake presses a bruising foot against his foot, pushing him back down. Roman chuckles nervously as Blake threatens him with Gambol Shroud. "Why are we fighting? I saw you at the rally, we're on the same side, and you know it."

Does he really think that's going to work? Blake found it redundant that he was even trying.

The large man runs forward with a cry, but is stopped as Weiss uses dust to create a shield for herself, pushing him back. The man tries again only to hit the floor as Weiss uses Myrtenaster to divert its path.

With a couple of hits she drives him back. Weiss barely avoids a hefty hit from his chainsaw, attacking tenfold. As he gets up from the floor he comes back more aggressive, leading Weiss to propel herself into the air. She comes crashing down, spinning but misses as the man steps back.

That doesn't stop her as she succeeds in throwing him back, sadly the man regains his stability.

Weiss creates time dilation glyphs, summoning multiple around the man, and proceeds to jab him left and right. Weiss stabs the ground and jumps in the air as the man finally catches his bearings. Weiss moves through the air in slow motion before the man grabs her by the face and slams her into the ground, chunks of the floor flying everywhere, before throwing her in the air, and swinging his chainsaw to finish her off.

Neo still sits on the crate, the same smile plastered on her face as Yang slowly approaches her. As Yang finally stood in front of her Neo cocked her head with a smirk, infuriating Yang to throw a punch.

It's a damn wonder on how I managed to get out of this, I'm getting my ass handed to me right now! Raider had told them they all made it out and that all was fine, but the real question is how? The only person that's handling themselves is Blake.

Yang can't even land a hit on this girl and Weiss just got pummeled onto the floor and is about to be sliced by a freaking chainsaw.

Neo easily blocks her punch with Hush, full on spinning atop the crate, and pushing Yang back as well. At kicking Yang back she fires with a cry, but it does nothing as Neo stops it with her parasol.

She quickly turns around as Yang comes in for another blow, fending off each shot and punch with her closed umbrella. As Neo goes for a kick, Yang grabs her by the leg and tosses her, though it doesn't deter her as she rights herself with a few spins. Once back on her feet Neo takes an offensive approach, running at Yang, hooking her around Hush, twirling atop her, then throwing her at the ceiling. Yang comes crashing to the ground with a grunt, laying there as Neo simply walks over to her with a confident smile.

"Does that girl get hit at any point and time?" Yang turns to Raider, annoyance in her voice.

"Yeah, though in total she received about ten or so hits," Yang clearly didn't like that answer, or anybody for that matter.

That's why Neo is one of the characters that scares me the most, she brings a whole new meaning to silent but deadly and her semblance doesn't make it any better.

As Yang and Weiss were thrown, no one seemed to notice the smallest flicker of silver come from a certain someone's eyes. As Yang turned around, she saw her sister rubbing at her eyes, "You okay Ruby?" Yang quickly zoned in on her sister, hoping nothing was wrong.

"Yeah, I'm fine, just felt like something was in my eyes," To make sure nothing was there Ruby rubbed them again.

"Hm, still feisty," Blake brought the blade closer to Roman's neck instead of in his face, "So, what are we gonna do now? Do you really think a little bow on top is gonna make people forget what you were? What you've done?" Blake and Roman's conversation was cut short as Weiss was knocked into the room, the man following close behind. "So what's it gonna be Blake?"

Blake gives Roman a kick to the face, having already made her choice as she rushes to Weiss's side. As the door closes, the man picks up the pace, as well as Blake, picking up Weiss, she runs.

Neo leisurely takes out the sword from Hush, raising it over an unconscious Yang.

Instead of a flicker, Ruby's eyes spark, leaving Ruby to once again, constantly rub at them as the light slightly blocks her vision. Ruby attempted to hold onto the fleeting hope that Raider was right, they all made it out alive, praying that she wasn't playing some sick joke.

In the back, an absolutely offended Raider would have been seen if everyone wasn't so focused on the screen in front of them.

Ruby wasn't the only one panicking. Both Weiss and Blake's eyes grew wide, hoping Yang would make it out.

No one had noticed that Blake subconsciously moved closer to Yang, wanting some kind of semblance to know her partner was fine.

Neo was stopped as another figure appeared, Raven. It doesn't take much effort for her to press Neo back.

No, that can't be… I have to be seeing things.

Neo stands there, surprised, as Raven looks from Yang to Neo. The dust in the scabbard rotates, settling on red. The woman slowly takes out her lengthy blade, Neo activates her semblance, fading into nothing as she runs away.

"Mom…?" The word came out breathless, quiet. Yang stared at the screen, jaw slightly open. I finally get to meet her…

Raven cuts the air, creating a portal. It was then as she was leaving that Yang regained consciousness. From Yang's perspective her vision is small, and with a single blink Raven is gone, leaving Yang to believe that she was seeing things. Yang only looks back for a second before she goes to help Weiss and Blake.

No, no, no, no! I'll just think that that was all a dream! That can't be the last time I see her, the only time I've ever seen her.

"That was her, wasn't it?" Yang was broken out of her reverie by Blake. Her voice was soft, hushed. Yang just nodded, dumbly.

"I'm sure that won't be the last time we see her, like Raider said before, 'they show us things for a reason'. We'll see her again."

"But how long until we will?" Blake didn't know how to respond to that question, the only person who'd know how long is Raider herself, but she doubted she'd tell them, say it was spoilers or what not.

She had to give her some kind of answer though. "I… I don't know," It wasn't helpful, she knew that, but what else could she say?

The next moment a body, or multiple, slammed into her side as Ruby brought her into a bruising hug. "I'm so glad you're okay!" Yang got a weird feeling that she was about to have a sense of deja vu from this, though she just brushed it off as nothing and embraced her sister's hug.

"I don't know who that lady was but I'm so glad she was there!" Yang laughed and agreed with her, but those who looked closer could tell it was a bit empty.

Ruby and Dr. Oobleck were dealing with another paladin.

"Huh, I kinda forgot about me," Ruby ended with a small laugh.

Dr. Oobleck rushed to Ruby's side. Before the paladin could hit them, Ruby led them to safety, leaving a trail of flames from Antiquity's Roast. Dr. Oobleck sped to the top of the paladin, making it catch fire as he blasted it, then jumping back down behind it. Together, Dr. Oobleck and Ruby shot at simultaneously, causing it to explode and fall off the train and onto the tracks. "Ruby you go on ahead!" Ruby of course protested against this, "Don't worry Ruby, it's time I teach them a listen." He didn't waste a second as he ran in the other direction, towards the incoming paladins.

Ruby looked down at Zwei who whimpered; Ruby smiled, telling him to go. With a bark Zwei followed after Dr. Oobleck.

"I should be worried, but that dog is indestructible." They were with Weiss, they should be worried, but that dog is made of some other material.

Everyone got to the top of the train. Blake asked what they were gonna do as the deadend was fast approaching. Ruby and Weiss gave each other a nod, the next moment all four of them were enclosed in a shield of ice as the train rammed into the wall.

Sirens were going off as they were all now above the surface. From Ruby's eyes Yang was coughing from the dust, Blake held a hand to her head, and Weiss was sitting against a piece of debris. Ruby winced as she got up, looking around at all the civilians staring at them.

The ground rumbled, then out came a large burst of grimm. Everyone began to run, screaming as grimm of all kinds growled and chased after them.

Ruby looked all around before her eyes narrowed. The screen then went black as the end credits began to roll in.

"Who are they?" Nora pointed to the screen right as the credits began. No one recognized them.

"The answer to that is part of the questions that would make you question your whole life and existence."

"How bad can it be? I'm pretty sure we got over the huge thing that our lives are part of stimulation for others' entertainment a while ago." Raider figured that was one way to put it, and it summed it up really well.

"I'm still having a bit of trouble coming to terms with that part," Weiss shivers, her body shuddering and wanting to go into an existential crisis just thinking about it.

Raider gives a shrug, "Alright, going from right to left you have Barbara Dunkelman, she's the voice actor for Yang, then you have Arryn Zech, she voices Blake, next is Kara Eberle, she voices Weiss, and last is Lindsay Jones, she voices Ruby."

It was too late to turn back. They're voices weren't even their own?!

Seeing all their expressions and Team JNPR, plus Sun's, she figured now would be an okay time for them to process that and have a break.
