(I hope by pov, you'll settle for mostly Sonic's scheming xD I like this idea and wanted to do something with Sonic Boom. Is it okay if it's not fully in his POV? Next time, for sure though! :D)

Prompt: (Boom Universe)

Anger soared through Sonic's being. His hands gripped the side of the door frame as Amy left her work, nervously talking to a boy who seemed to be trying to ask her out, but she was carefully avoiding the topic.

"Well, gotta run!" She speedily took off, as the boy held out an outstretched hand to her, and then sighed, bending down, defeated.

"Yes!" Sonic fist pumped, before dashing over the boy, and patting his back. "Aw, man. Tough luck, dude. That girl is just WAY out of any of our leagues… well, heh, I mean. I made her into the league she is, I mean, I'm Sonic the Hedgehog. Coolness by affiliation, you know?"

"Amy's just the sweetest girl, you know? Any guy would be lucky to have her." he sighed, and leaned up, shrugging. "But I guess no one ever will." he walked off.

Growing oddly confused by that last statement, Sonic slightly panicked that the boy knew something he didn't and quickly raced to walk with him, growing nervous.

"Haha, uh, what, uhh.. what makes you say that?" Sonic scratched behind his head, before shifting around quite a bit and seeming sheepish about the topic, trying to play it cool, but fidgeting around too much.

"Well, like you said. She's out of all our leagues. Sure, you may be cool and all, but even you couldn't catch a woman like that." The boy used his thumb to gesture indirectly to Amy, and then swooned as he drooped forward again. "She's just unattainable~ Like all my other dream girls are…"

Sonic stopped walking beside the boy, and folded his arms, looking at the ground as if upset to hear that. "Unattainable!? Even to me!? I wouldn't be so sure…" he turned around, slightly glaring, and having some form of an evil plan forming in his mind…

"I can have any girl I want! Whose to say I can't have Amy? I-I mean, I don't want too… but this is a matter of pride, and proving me right!"

Later that day, Amy sighed as she went to sit down at Meh Burger, about to pull out her chair before something did it for her, and then put her down in her seat. "Oh!" she looked around, not sure what was going on.

Suddenly, the wind carried rapidly candlesticks, and tied a napkin around her neck, and then dropped a CD player where a gloved hand fashionably stroked it and then clicked the on button, playing generic romantic dinner music.

Dave suddenly hit his counter, "Hey! What's the big idea?! Romantic getaway music is not customer appropriate-OFFPH!" He was suddenly dragged under the counter and gagged.

The people around looked scared, just watching the moment before each one disappeared at different times, one even being dragged away into darkness.

Amy turned forward after having her jaw drop at the poor soul being swept away and turned forward, noticing day just suddenly became night as a fabric of somekind was placed over her table like a tent, and the candles were lit.

"…Uhh…" Amy could barely speak, before finally getting the words out. "Well, I'm deeply perturbed. What is this? What's going on!?" Amy stood up, hitting her hand against the table.

"I demand to see my waiter!"

A gust of wind had the fabric flapping suddenly open, before dropping once again as Amy covered her face with her arm, and blinked as she looked over it.

She then gasped loudly.

"You've been captured by a turn of fates…" A gloved hand rotated a glass drink in his hands, lying over the table.

Amy's mouth continued to hang open as he spoke.

"What? Speechless?"

Suddenly, the camera turned to Sonic, outstretched like a entree, before smirking and giving her a wink.

"I get that a lot."

Amy quickly lifted a finger up to her arm, and pinched.

"Ow! Well, that rules that out." she then slapped her face. "Ouch! Hmm? Nothing?"

She then jumped up to the table and started moving her hands around his hair.

"H-hey! I'm the one suppose to be moving fast here!" he fought her a little bit, before she concluded nothing was in his head.

"No mind control bot. Well, I'm greatly astonished. What's this for?" She put her hands to her hips, not sure what the catch/deal was, but sat down and gestured calmly out to Sonic.

"…W-wait, what?" Sonic leaned up, realizing she wasn't reacting AT ALL like how he thought she would.

"You hungry for free meh burger or something?" She sighed, and gestured her hand out to him. "Okay, okay. But you owe me for last time." she reached for her purse.

"Wait! Hold on! This isn't about mooching! It's about…" he reached down and grabbed her hand, stopping her from getting any money, before pulling her hand up to his muzzle and sitting on the edge of where she sat…

"Smooching~" he winked.

"…" her hand immediately flung out of his grasps, as a suspicious look went on her face and she put her hand up to his forehead. "Hmm. Definitely lack of sleep and a fever." she then stretched out his eye as he flailed his arms out, uncomfortable again.

"You clearly are having hallucinations with how hot it's been getting too. How long ago was it sense you had water? How many bottles?"

"Amy! Quit it already!" Sonic flapped his hands out to get her to let go of him, before looking upset and slightly offended at her conclusions.

"Can't you see I'm trying to seduce you!"

"….We clearly need to take you to Doc." She nodded, squinting her eyes a bit, before moving the fabric and grabbing his arm. "Come on, lover boy. We'll get you back to norm-AHH!"

He tugged against her and ended up slightly throwing her back on the table, leaning over her.

"I can't believe you think me deranged!" Sonic blurted out, looking more angry than ever. "You're suppose to be swooning! Then I get a picture to prove that you're attainable and have no one ever dispute my coolness status ever again!"

She blinked her eyes, before narrowing them and pushing him off.

"Is that what this is all about? Pride shaming?" She again sassily put her hands to her hips, and rolled her eyes. "Geez, Sonic. You're unbelievable." She got off the table, as he folded his arms, looking upset too, but then…

It almost looked like insecurity, as his eyes shifted around his expression turned sorrowful, before reaching out and grabbing her again to stop her from leaving.

"Wait! ..W…Why weren't you flattered.." he looked away, as if asking was a little awkward for him. "I mean… I gave you my best smolder!"

Amy raised an eyebrow, before putting a hand up to her cheek. "Which one was that?"

He beamed, and then struck the good-lookin' pose, bouncing his eyebrows up and down.

"….." she looked unamused. "Yeah, well. You can tell your little 'nonbelievers' that I am unattainable. I'm a perfectly able woman who can get a date if I so choose to have one." She then flicked his nose to break his smolder.

"Ouch!" he rubbed his nose, looking sorrowful once more, "H-hey!" he reached out to her.

"Goodbye, Sonic." she rolled her eyes, shaking her head and moving the tarp.

Once outside, she looked around to make sure no one was around, and immediately slid down a building, "OH! Phew…" she gripped her heart and tilted her head down, looking worn out. "That was too close." She shook her head, breathing hard, before getting up and dusting herself off, readjusting her hair and then continuing on down the path.

Suddenly, she heard an engine and looked around. "H-huh?"

"Coming through!"

She turned around, "AH!"

Getting scooped up, Sonic had his airgear and held her bridal style, moving through the crowds to get to the outskirts of town. "'Suse me! Coming around the bend, here!"

"W-what are you-!?"

"Doing? Hopefully, getting the most unattainable girl to go on a date with me!" Sonic smirked, skillfully dodging the ice cream stand and jump over different citizens.

"Wha! Offph!" They hit the ground hard, but Amy shouted out the most, before looking over to Sonic and squinting her eyes shut, yelling at him. "PUT ME DOWN RIGHT NOW!"

"Oh, no! I'm not done with you yet!"

She opened her eyes, blinking in surprise. "H-hu-huh..?!"

"By the end of today, you're gonna wish you were my girlfriend!" Sonic winked, and continued to ride the wind currents into the jungle.

Amy couldn't help it now.

She swooned, "Awhhh…" she lowered her eyelids and had a goofy grin on her face, unable to resist anymore.

They disappeared into the jungle…~
