A prompt with you in Sonic Forces is now a possibility! How do you think(as the character) you would be introduced to Sonic and friends? 3 Let the theories and speculations begin!

I'm gonna try and write this to the best of my ability as if this was SEGA asking me xD

But first, I am slightly confused on clarity… is it ME or my OC that is being introduced?

Either way, I'm going for a character that is neutral but will have my thoughts, lol.

Prompt:

After following the legendary blue heroes for some time, I came upon a fierce decision.

The battle grew lengthy and I started noticing these two Sonics that were summoned here to my city were growing weary.

In a panic, knowing that if I didn't act now, our only hope of saving this world from Eggman may be severed forever, I took courage and faith to jump into the fray.

Gliding skillfully to the side, the Sonics must have seen me by then, as I pulled out my weaponry and started taking down the masses.

It wasn't long though before they seemed to power up with something I've only heard of before…

I stared in amazement, as some kind of gems formed around them and burst energy straight into the Sonics!

They turned yellow… it was super!

However, in my amazement, I was kinda knocked down by a upcoming target. Nonetheless, I shot straight back up, fighting my way through, and disappearing before the Sonics could find me.

I kept running, for some reason, always looking behind my back. It became habit, actually. I wanted to help, but I thought it best to keep to myself, silently spying and peeking around corners, a friendly aid when no one was watching…

I started to feel my body give out, that last battle shot me up good… I clang to my arm and wobbled inside a nearby cave, looking around before my eyesight started to cloud over in black.

A blackout?

Now?!

I felt my breathing fail me and suddenly collapsed.

Pretty sure i hit rock.

It hurt like rocks…

"I think there's someone over here..?"

The voice aroused me from my passed out state. I turned my fallen head to try and find the voice, but all I saw was a pink blur.

"Oh my gosh!"

A girl..?

"Don't worry, you're safe with us now!" She lifted my arm over her shoulder, hoisting me up as I continued to blink my eyes, trying to see correctly.

I felt my gadgets weighing me down, and didn't have enough energy to keep myself walking.

Did she say…

Us..?

A red blur then came to my other side, helping me up. "Woah, what kinda fight have you been through?"

If only he knew…

The journey was like a blink of an eye. When I came too, I was laying outstretched on a cot of somekind, before having blurry faces all around me.

Coming into focus, I suddenly knew what had happened…

"Ah!" I rose up, straight up, instinctively wanting to reach for a weapon but I noticed all my stuff was on a counter next to me.

"Ah!" I startled the others, who flinched back, before a yellow fox came over to my side.

"Incredible!" he stated, gesturing to me and then to the others around me. "It must be a local survivor! And judging by their technology, a genius at that!" he pointed a finger up, before turning to my utility belt.

"Ah…!" I reached for it, worried that if I stayed I may become a bother to their operation. More than anything I wanted to help, but at the same time…

Something made me feel I didn't belong among these heroes.

"Hey! that's the kid!"

I suddenly recognized the voice, turning to see my life-time hero stride up, his previous form gone and returning to his normal blue state.

He placed a hand on his hip, smiling kindly to me.

"You mean.." The fox turned to his friend, then to me. "This is the mysterious-?"

"Yep. The one who came to my aid." He walked forward again, holding out a hand for me to shake. "The one who took out all those robots. Really saved me by the skin of my teeth back there."

He then shifted his outstretched hand, before I could take it, and pointed to himself.

"Sonic." he greeted, "And you are?"

(This is legit how I think your first meeting could happen. XD But I added some extra stuff, hope you enjoy!)

—-(Bonus cutscenes)—-

Rouge sat upon the roof's edge, as I came by and sat by her, looking out at the war-torn landscape around me.

"…Hmph, what? You're here to try and have a chat?" she smiled, but there was clearly some sarcasm there.

I remained silent, just smiling back at her.

"Heh." she looked away, seeing I wasn't scared off by her demeanor.

"You know… I kinda just want to fly at this point." She stared off into the distance, as I listened carefully.

"Heh, might start looting. Would be pretty shameful, and no fun with out the chase." she folded her arms, closing her eyes and dipping her head down. "I could steal all the gems of the world… and for a moment,… have some temporary happiness before the end."

I frowned, looking away.

I mean… I could understand wanting just a moment of joy again. Of some kind of peace.

But knowing it was to be a faint second…

I shook my head, and turned to give her more of a encouraging and determined look.

She blinked her eyes slightly open, and smiled to me. "Heh, you're a sweet kid. I know. I wouldn't dare dream of it." she looked back out at the land.

"Eggman's ruining my collections. Melting my precious treasures into war-machines." She got up, flapping her wings to take off. "Hmph, unacceptable!" she suddenly flew up, "Come on, sweetie. We've got a world to save!" she charged forward.

I smiled, seeing her true devotion wasn't just in herself, but she did care about the cause and what should happen to this world.

I took off, obeying and taking off after her.

Amy sighed, kicking her feet as I waltzed over. She was upset by Sonic's last actions at keeping her out of the battle.

I, myself, was curious as to why he was always keeping tabs on her, until I used my sneaking skills to overhear a conversation…

Knowing the conversation was still going on, I was slightly excited, and sat next to her, gesturing with my head for her to follow me.

She didn't see my eyes also turning to show discreet signals, but continued on in her sorrows.

"Oh, hey." She looked away.

Dang it, girl! Look at me!

"I just…" she sighed, "I wonder if Sonic worries about me… I've been fighting so hard… Why does he still feel like… like I can't do things on my own?"

That wasn't the case, I knew that. But I couldn't tell her! She needed to hear it for herself.

This time, I lifted a leg to get up, and lightly nudged her, making her look at me as I did my cues to follow again.

A little confused, but obviously willing, she followed me until I peeked through a door, having her come and peek in the crack as well.

"If something were to happen to her… It's not like that, little me!"

Sonic was arguing with his past self, and I looked up to see Amy fully attentive.

Good.

I smiled, before slowly scooting away as the conversation turned a little more truthful on Sonic's part, and slowly crept away as Amy took over the spot where I was spying.

Heh.

I put my hands behind my back and contently walked off. They really needed to talk sometime. Quit having so many… secrets.

Knuckles was pounding on some robots, before shoving one at me. "You got this!" he called out.

I was really feeling apart of the team, taking that robot out before something flashed in the distance.

I covered my face before turning around to the light.

"Ah! About time he showed up!" Knuckles smirked, as suddenly Shadow appeared from the light, folding his arms and glaring down.

I froze a moment, he looked like Sonic…

He stared down at me… making me slightly step back, not sure if he was friendly or not…

Shadow turned, seeing something and jumping up. "Chaos spears!"

I freaked out, was he attacking me!?

I ducked, when I heard a few marching robots explode, making me look back, and then flinch as I turned back and noticed he was closer to me now.

"Ah!" I moved back but he just stared.

Knuckles came up, hitting my back to move me closer as Shadow just looked over me to Knuckles.

"Haha! The new kid! Take it easy on the newbie, alright? I'll leave it to you!" Knuckles! Are you leaving me with this guy!?

I spun around, but he was already digging through rubble, disappearing under grunts and splotches of dirt flying up.

I turned back to my new… 'friend'.

"Hmph." he turned his head and raced forward. "Keep up. Don't fall behind…"

I did as I was told.

He wasn't so bad.. when you were on his good side…
