Tails, Knuckles, and Sonic were being strangled and taken up into the air by a small robot with wings and three dragon heads. Eggman called it, Eggdra(Hydra) and programmed it to take the team to his HQ so he could, personally, destroy them!
Dodging the first attack, Amy had successfully avoided capture, and was now running after her friends, "Sonic! Tails! Knuckles!"
"Amy.. ack! It's up to you, now!" Sonic struggled, choking slightly from the tight hold of the Hydra's long tubed tails that had wrapped around the three like a snake, as it flew off to it's destination.
"Get us out of here, Amy!" Knuckles shouted, trying to rip the tails off of him, straining to push them away, but they only smacked him in the face and went right back to strangling him, but now… he was flailing at not breathing.
"Amy!"
"Ohhh… hold on!" believing in herself, and realizing she was alone on this one, she took her enerbeam and charged her hand first, holding it in front of her as she jumped up and activated her Air Gear. "Please… please give me the strength to save my friends!" She found her courage and let her hand go, the enerbeam swirling around above her as she swung it like a lasso. She threw it forward and it looped around the middle Eggdra head, yanking the metal beast back as the tails swung forward.
"W-woah!" the team was jostled, but seemed fine, as Amy tethered her Enerbeam around a tree, flying around it before jumping off her Air Gear, not needing it now that the Eggdra was stuck in one spot in the air, and as it roared in defiance, she used her balancing skills to jump up, and run across the line of her enerbeam.
"Grr… let. my. FRIENDS. GOOO!" she jumped up and summoned her hammer, hitting the heads as more appeared every time she smacked one off. "Wha-huh!?"
The team were still held up, and she had to destroy the whole creature by ramming it down, and then hitting a boulder on top of it.
The tails twitched at the impact, standing upright, before the beast shimmered to a steam of metal breaking and the tails fell down, releasing the three as Knuckles took a big gasp of air in, and then the whole team ran to Amy.
"Thanks, Amy! I knew you could do it!" Tails praised, as Amy bent over, hands on her knees, keeping her up.
"Thanks, Tails. I'm glad you're all okay."
"Eh, bruised a bit, but ready to take down ol'Eggbutt." Knuckles punched his fist together, and then lightly pounded his knuckles to her shoulder. "Nice work, Amy. You handled yourself well, today." he praised, as she lightly giggled and smiled.
Sonic zipped up, winking to her and putting his arm over her. "Yeah, I suppose she did well." he teased. "I mean, we're still breathing, right?" he shrugged, and moved his arm.
She tensed up with his hand around her but liked the feeling, and nodded to him. "Em-hm! Was there any doubt?" she kid, as the team laughed and regrouped, headed back to fight Eggman.
