Sonamyshad shipper here ayye. I got an idea for a prompt (I've sorta shifted to the Shadamy spectrum eheh..): Shadow Amy and Sonic are trapped in some cave or catacomb and Sonic and Shadow are getting tense and cutting mean jokes at each other (but their secretly trying to make the other look bad in front of Amy xD) and poor Amy is just: "Guys. Please. Stahp eet.."

lol, I enjoy the triangle too, but I also recognize it's not canon. So to be clear, what I will write next is strictly for entertainment purposes only, and is kinda a 'fanfiction' okay?
But I'll try and keep all characters as canon as possible, besides Shadow crushing on Amy and Sonic crushing and you actually NOTICE he's crushing, okay? okay. here I go~

As Shadow, Sonic, and Amy wait for Tails to pick them up on an island that they were teleported too because the island consist in another realm they begin to talk as Amy is weak and hurt, something that is making them both blame the other.
"If you weren't wasting your time on some legend hunt, Amy wouldn't have gotten injured!" Sonic huffed out, walking in a circle as did Shadow, Amy being on the side and looking down in embarrassment, upset she had made Sonic and Shadow fight.
She never meant for them to argue… Sonic was getting the stolen emeralds and Shadow had found her, rescued her, and even taken care of her before the big monster tried to eat her…
"Me? I don't recall you stepping up and speeding to her aid..! Hmph, and I thought you were her… hero, of sorts." Shadow stopped pacing around and turned his back on Sonic, folding his arms and slightly mocking him.
Sonic turned back to glare and walk towards Shadow, "What'd you say!?" his temper was already lost, but now he was enraged as Amy stumbled up as they looked about ready to fight, both walking toward each other with hostility.
"No! Both of you stop fighting! I.. I never meant for this to happen.." She held both arms out, but one hurt her as she moved her other arm to grab it and support it. "Ow.."
The boys stopped death glaring each other to look down at Amy, flinching back in worry at her small cry of pain, and then back at each other, before turning themselves away from the other. "Hmph." they both stated in unison, not wanting to upset Amy further.
"Look.. you both saved me, and in some ways… you both let me down too." she added, as they looked down. "Sonic, you left me to try and find the emeralds on your own, saying I was safer if you knew where I was."
Sonic looked over his shoulder back at her, and looked guilty. "Amy.." he turned to address her, reaching out a hand for her but she turned to Shadow quickly, making him stop his reaching and clench his fist tightly, looking away and stomping his foot a little, upset she turned her gaze from him.
"Shadow, you abandoned me too… after helping me, you went on to do your own mission, and didn't bother helping me to look for Sonic."
Shadow didn't budge, but he did turn his eyes back to her, and you could see a bit of regret in his eyes. "…You seemed to want him to save you, I felt like an unwanted stranger."
"You were unwanted." Sonic spat out, folding his arms after his rude comment and turning to the side.
"You're not a stranger! and Sonic, he saved me when you weren't there!"
"Y-yeah, but I came back! And he didn't! He would of let you fall off the edge of this floating island!" he pointed an accusing finger at Shadow, who looked behind him to glare at Sonic's accusation, before Amy stomped her foot and made Sonic lose his tough guy look and stare back at her, a bit afraid of her wrath.
"That's not the point! Augh.." she fell to her knees, gripping her wounds as the boys flinched again in worry and ran to her.
"Amy! Are you alright?" "Amy! Does it hurt?"
The two of them said that at the same time, bending down to aid her from the sides, as they looked up at each other, and glared.
"Both of you.. p-please." Amy weakly stated, her eyelids lowered in her pain. "Tails said that if we get hurt in this realm,… that the dimensional energy will leak into us, and it could cause lasting effects… I need… I need both of you to work together now." she looked up at the two of them, as they slowly got up, still eyeing the other down, but losing hostility as she spoke as if in dire need. "We can all do this, together! ugh,… I just need you two to harness Chaos, defeat the dimensional jumper, and get us all home…"
when she fell forward, there were two hands under her, keeping her up. Looking down at her and then at each other, Sonic and Shadow found a common ground and both nodded, realizing they both shared a purpose, to get Amy home safely…
"Fine, but I'm in charge. hehe~" Sonic grinned, as Shadow groaned.
"Get that foolish smug off your face, I know more about this dimensional jumper's whereabouts then you do."
"Ohh, is that a challenge? First one to him gets to chaos control Amy home!" Sonic commented, as Amy was breathing hard, trying to fight through the pain, and turned her head to Sonic.
"R-…Really?" she seemed to not believe they were going to make this a competition… and for that reward?
