Here's a quicky~

Amy sat by a ravine picking small flowers and grass out forlornly and sighing, tossing them without much feeling into the water, and watching them rush down the narrow stream.

"Eh-heh, heh. Hey, Amy!" Sonic, awkwardly sticking his upper body out to the side of a tree in the back, walked out cautiously, keeping a worried smile on his face, before he scratched his head, seeming nervous. "You,.. you, you okay? You were pretty shaken up back there on the battlefield… everything alright?" he stayed behind her as she turned back to see him, and then looked forward and back to the ground again.

"I've never been so pitiful in battle before… usually, I can swing without even thinking about it! Oh… I don't know what's wrong with me. One look at that robot and… And I completely froze." she clung to herself, hands around her. "I've NEVER hesitated that badly before… I can't believe this." she swung her head down, whining out a sigh. "One dangerous close call from Metal Sonic and suddenly I'm acting like a terrified kitten. Well, go ahead and laugh. I would… I'm right back to typical damsel in distress… something I've tried to not revert to…" she placed her hand down to the side of her and looked at it, trying to somehow retrain her cheeriness with some light teasing of herself.

"No, you're not that." Sonic walked over and sat by her, looking down at the ravine. "And you also wouldn't laugh at someone else's expense either. Hence, my no laughing." Sonic gestured with his two pointer fingers inward towards his face. He then placed his arms on his legs and gestured out in front of him. "In all my years knowing you, I've known you to be a warrior, a hero even." He began, as Amy slowly looked up to him, her eyes searching him for truth, and finding a lot of sincerity in his eyes as he looked ahead, not looking directly back at her just yet. "I've never met a girl like you, Amy. Heh, someone who wears their heart on their sleeve and fights with it too. You had a moment of fear, Amy… Fear isn't a weakness. It's only through conquering fear, that we gain the courage to stand." Sonic looked back to her, and seemed to mean these next words, even putting behind them a lot of strength, as his eyebrows fell to give him a strong look in his eyes. "You are not weak, and I would never make fun of you for being strong enough to admit you were scared."

Amy's eyes slightly watered as she saw how much Sonic believed in her. He wasn't going to make fun of her or call her a little girl, he was genuinely… proud of her for admitting her fear. "Sonic…" her eyes bended back in pure love, taken aback by his touching words.

"Uh, well…" he looked away, suddenly growing nervous again as he didn't like to be so 'touching' and tried to keep his 'cool' streak going. He got up, and brushed himself off. "Anyway, I know you'll come back to fight when your ready. But if you want, I might be able to help you fight your own fears. That is… if you'll let me." he extended his hand to her, as she stared at it a moment. He smiled and winked, being charming, as Amy's mouth slowly opened to a grin, and she immediately grabbed his hand with both of hers.

"Y-yes! Yes, I want to be strong again!" He was amazed at how fast she took his hand, and it made him step back a second, as he laughed a little at how quick she got up with his help too, springing right back into her usual happy self.

"You were always strong, Amy. Nothings change." he stated, and nodded to her. "We just have to remind you of your true strength, and you'll never be scared again. I guarantee it." he held his finger out and struck a pose, before winking to her again and walking ahead. "You coming?"

As she nodded and wiped any water from her eyes, she followed behind him, thinking fondly as she looked up to him in front of her. '…You are my true strength… Sonic…'

After training with Sonic, Amy did fight back, conquering her fears of being hurt by Metal again and ended up showing him how strong a threat she could really be. Heck, even Eggman got scared at her new strength, as him, Cubot, and Orbot, hugged each other in fright as if watching a horror film.

"Drat! I really thought I had her as a deer in red headlights!" Eggman admitted, "Well, no bother. I'll still have Sonic and his little friends ALL shaking in fear when-!"

"Doctor Eggman, sir? I hate to cut off your evil rambling but.." Cubot began, nervously, before Orbot continues, nonchalantly.

"Sticks just blew up Metal Sonic to smithereens."

"….WHAT?! But I hadn't even unleashed his upgraded matrix coding yet!" he did some karate moves with his arms and then dropped them down, walking off in a depressed state of mind. "I'll go gather the parts…"

"Hey, Sticks! That was my kill!" Amy stated, moving her hammer down as she put a hand on her hip.

"Sorry, Amy. I just really wanted to get him… his evil devil eyes were giving me the creeps!" she flinched, before seeing his eye twitch and spark, and savagely attacking him again with her boomerang.

"So… you're okay now? Amy?" Tails asked, putting a hand on her shoulder, and trying to give her comfort if she needed it. "We were worried about you."

"Yeah, you looked pretty shaken up just a moment ago… You're eyes got all small and itty-bitty and then you just kinda gawked or something, I don't know, and wouldn't move until we had to save you and-" Knuckles went on his little rambling streak, as he held his fingers up to his eyes as if showing the size of how 'itty-bitty' Amy's eyes were, giving an account of the moment beforehand.

"Yes, yes, Knuckles. I don't need the full description of the most pathetic moment of my life relived for me, thank you." she seemed annoyed, as she rolled her eyes as if he should of known she would detest against hearing about the scene all over again.

"Ehem." Sonic coughed into his hand, and then folded them, holding his head up high.

Amy looked back, and smiled, before turning to her friends in front of her. "I've learned that true strength comes from admitting your weaknesses, and learning how to make them your strengths. Though it's true I did experience utter and demoralizing fear, I learned how to conquer that by focusing on what I'm fighting for. And even with fear, I wouldn't let it stop me from what's most important."

"Having fun?" Sticks asked.

The team slightly laughed, "N-no, no, Sticks."

"Making sure the battery is fully charged on your laptop?" Tails tilted his head, turning back to Amy a moment.

"…No, Tails. It's something a little more special than that."

"Making sure you don't eat the last twinkie?" Knuckles crooked his finger and held it up, as if asking this in a guilty way…

"So it WAS you!" Tails glared and growled slightly up at Knuckles.

"What?! No, no! Not any of that!" Amy shook her head and held her hands out, shaking them too in objection. "It's protecting my friends! That's what's most important!"

"Aww, I protect you too." Sticks put her hands to her heart and then walked over to hug Amy tightly. "Always, and forever~" she chimed.

"Haha, thanks, Sticks." Amy lightly patted her back.

"That goes for us too." Tails stated, as Knuckles jumped in.

"Me too!"

"Me three, the one that counts, might I add." Sonic stepped up, being a bit narcissistic.

Amy rolled her eyes, "The most important and awesomess number?" she teased.

"No, but it's still really cool." Sonic gave her a energetic thumbs up.

The team all laughed.
