I'm not sure how Sonic, Tails, and Knuckles getting into a rivalry would spark anything between Sonic and Amy… you didn't leave me with much to go on, sweetheart ^^; but I'll do my best! as usual.
(No queen is perfect, haha)
Amy accidentally sparks a fuel of rivalry when she tells Knuckles that he's the most manliest man she knows. She meant it sarcastically while Knuckles was flexing, but when Sonic heard it, and then stated he was at least more manly than Tails, the whole rivalry of this brotherhood of sorts came to an all out brawl.
Determined to have Amy decide who was the manliest man of all, the boom gang try different approaches and have Amy score their 'manliness' by how well they did in her eyes.
Tails goes for the gentlemen approach, opening doors and being the 'handy man' around the house, which scores him a solid 8 on Amy's scale, though she really didn't want to be involved in this rivalry…
Knuckles did feats of strength with a warriors code of valor and stated his moral beliefs, which gave him a good 9.2 in chivalry.
But Sonic really wanted to be the manliest of all, and in doing so, he did all that the others did, but to more affect since Amy secretly likes him, and then went for the manliest thing of all.
Leaning in towards Amy, she starts panicking a bit before closing her eyes!
"And, exhibit….A!" Sonic points to his chin.
"…Is that… suppose to be a mustache?" Tails looked annoyed, as Amy opens her eyes to see him gesturing to his 'manliest masterpiece of pure awesome manliness.'
"….oh." Amy states, unimpressed as she looks away, embarrassed at thinking he would kiss her… "It's … it's nice." she fakes a smile, lowering her head back as she doesn't want to give away how uncomfortable she is right now.
"Oh yeah? Ammmy?~" Tails steps up, and points to his chest hair. "Hello? Like, duh!" he gestures out. "I'm clearly winning this challenge."
"Hold on! Grrr…rahhhhfff…" Knuckles squints his eyes close and tenses up his body.
"…Knuckles, are you trying to seriously GROW hair in an instant?" Sonic mocks, as Knuckles holds a hand up to him.
"Shh, shh, shh! You're breaking my connection between my mind… and my body… HURRRR!" he tries to grow a beard, but that's not happening through mental strength alone.
"Okay, look, you guys." Amy is finally about to call it a day before the boys swarm her, asking her to call a winner already before she falls off her stool she was sitting on and the boys back up in fright as she gets up, her eyes covered in shadows. "…No one … is more manly… than Adventurer Chuck Gnorrious!" she points to a film poster of a complete stereotypical macho man in old action movies. (Chuck Norris reference, lol)
"NOOO! Not Chuck!" the three scream out.
"That's not fair!" Tails states.
"Yeah, no one can beat Chuck at manliness! He's my idol!" Sonic declares, as the whole gang gets upset, before Amy gives a big speech about how men don't need to be manly all the time, but just be there selves, and that it's not a big deal unless you guys make it one.
The team is still a little grumpy but shake it off, as they all leave, leaving Knuckles still trying to get a hair on his chin, but almost giving himself a headache.
