Boom! Invasion of privacy. Sonic is in a bad mood and the gang want to know why. Especially Amy. After getting frustrated with them and saying that he needs time alone, Sonic storms off. Amy is quick to follow and finds out , (it could be ease dropping or reading whatever you want c:), the reason for Sonic's temper. ( can be a delicate topic) Sonic is angry/upset with Amy for not respecting his space and for being so persistent and kinda nosy. How do they work it out? A hug maaaybe..? /u/

Sonic has been in a bad mood all day, and every time someone tries to ask about it, Sonic will flat out reject them and race off.

Having none of it, Amy comforts a hurt Tails who feels Sonic doesn't care about people caring about him, and states she'll get to the bottom of this. One way, or another!

She follows Sonic, which she's usually good at, and finds him struggling to do a Spin Dash, his signature move.

He frustratingly hits the ground with his foot, gritting his teeth together before taking a deep breath and flicking his nose with his thumb, sniffing, before looking behind him and putting his hands on his hips. He sees Amy at the corner of his eye and looks forward, holding a hand up in a fist as he steps forward, spotting her. "HEY!"

She freaks, "Eep!" she jolts and tries to run off, but of course, he stops her.

"What are you doing here!? Are you really spying on me?!" he angrily states, as Amy leans back, hands up near her muzzle as she gets a little intimidated.

"N-no I…well, yes. Yes, maybe I was!" Taking in some confidence that Sonic would never hurt her, she steps forward and holds her hands back, showing her courage and suborn attitude, growing angry at him for Tails. "Maybe I just wanted to make sure you were okay! We're worried about you Sonic… you would never treat Tails that way… and me either for that matter!" she stomps her foot down, as Sonic 'tsk's and looks away, folding his arms.

"…What did you see?" he asked.

"Huh?"

"You were spying, right!? So you… you saw?" he got mad again, but looked away, trying not to lash out his frustrations on her like he accidentally did to Tails. He knew Tails didn't deserve that, and when he was in a better mood, he would try and make it up to him.

"..You're Spin Dashing?" she blinked her eyes, putting a finger up to her mouth. "Hmm… I did notice it was a little…uh… sloppy, for your standards anyway."

"…I think I'm… I think I'm losing it." he admits, but seems hard for him to do so.

"Losing… what? Your Spin Dash?" she giggles.

"This isn't funny!" Sonic unfolds his arms, as Amy puts a hand over her mouth.

"R-right. Sorry. It's just… You? Of all people? Forgetting something you do every… single…day? Just seems unlikely is all." she tries to keep the mood light.

"Pah, you wouldn't get it!" he waved a hand out to her, and started walking off, as she took offense to that.

"Hey! I too would get it!" she ran up in front of him and stopped him. "I may not have forgotten to summon my hammer or anything… but sometimes, I try and make a recipe I've made many times, and then suddenly, it turns out to taste really bad. I don't know why, but it does. I just try again and it turns out better next time. Maybe you're just having a bad day… take it easy and don't let it get to you so much." she takes a softer approach and shows him she cares, but he just looks away.

"Look, Amy. I appreciate it, but this isn't some cook book instructions I'm missing here. I don't know what's wrong with me.. but if I can't regain myself, I can't fight like I always do, and that's a problem." he glared, but not really to her, just to the world in general. "Anyway, I don't have time to stop now. I need to keep trying, keep going, thanks for everything, Tails included, but I have to figure this out on my own." he ran by her, as she turned to watch him race off, her hair whipping to the side as she sighed, reaching for him before dropping it and knowing she wasn't going to see him for a long time again.

But if Sonic couldn't fight Eggman…

She shook her head, "I know he'll be okay. He always is. He'll figure out what he's missing, he'll see." she chimed.

Later that day, she got kidnapped, as Eggman figured out fast that Sonic wasn't acting normal on his counterattack.

"Hmm? What's gotten into you! Are you trying to go soft? that's a little hard for a porcupine.."

"HEDGEHOG." Sonic growled out, gritting his teeth together and forming tight fists with his hands, getting more frustrated at his lack of being able to attack properly.

"Sonic! Listen to me!" Amy cried out, in the hand of Eggman's robot.

"Amy?"

"Hmm? What's she going on about now?" Eggman turned to look at her too, from within his robot.

"Just take a deep breath, you know what to do, you just have to calm down and let your… emm-mm." she shook her head. "Let the wind tell you what to do! That's what you once told me, isn't it? It's not where your feet want to go, it's where the wind needs you to go, right?"

"Amy.." Sonic's face grew softer, as he closed his eyes and the wind blew around him. "Was that what I had forgotten… the wind? Or…"

"Bah, I have no idea what's going on, but if you think I'm not going to take insult through your 'going easy' on me, then you have another thing coming! Die, Sonic!" Eggman charges to attack, as everything glitches into slow motion, and it's only the wind and Sonic's quills moving.

"…Motivation." he slowly opens his eyes as 'His World's instrumental begins to play. "I was missing the thrill of having something to fight for! The pleasure in getting what I wanted that much faster than you, Eggman! And most importantly… I forgot the how free it feels… to be at the mercy of the wind." he got his moxie back.

Flying at the speed of light, he was like a streak of blue lightning, climbing up the robot and spinning, finally getting that kick in his spin as it didn't wobble, but thrust forward and split the robot's hand off by it's wrist.

Amy flew with her hands out into the air, as Sonic jumped up and caught her.

"BLAST YOU, HEDGEHOG!"

After the battle, Amy pushed Sonic towards Tails, and scratching his head, Sonic finally apologized to him, and Tails happily accepted it, just glad Sonic was alright.

"But… something still bothers me." Tails stated, looking a bit sad still. "Why did Amy help, and not me?"

"Uhh…well…" Sonic rolled his eyes to Amy, who happily stepped in.

"Because I'm a force to be reckoned with, and you better BELIEVE I was gonna have him apologize to you one way, or another!" she beamed, as Sonic awkwardly smiled, and Tails just sweat-dropped, realizing Amy was just too stubborn to give Sonic his space. Which, in this case, was a good thing.
