I FREAKIN' FOUND IT!

So, I mentioned I had a headcanon done A LOOOONG time ago about Tails making a machine to read 'the inner thoughts' of his friends, well, after looking through a LOT of headcanons, I finally found it! Number 35!

35. The gang is having trouble keeping their feelings to themselves, as Tails has invented a device that is suppose to let your inner thoughts be forced into being spoken. Amy, Knuckles, and Sonic now all have to deal with Tails weird energy wave that is emitting out of his new device he wears to see what the others are thinking of if they come to close to him. "This is great! Hehe! Now I'll never have to guess what they're thinking again!" The device doesn't effect it's holder, so Tails is safe from it's effects. However, during the episode, Sonic and Amy are bickering when they suddenly pass Tails, resulting in this funny bit of dialogue. "Well you could of been faster on your attack!" "And what? Miss the fun of seeing you running for your life?" "He was right on my tail and I couldn't concentrate long enough to get an aim on him-" -they walk by Tails- "-cause you were distracting me with your gorgeous eyes." "Well, it's hard to save you when I find your quick maneuvering kinda cute, and besides, I just really wanted to have this fight with you cause I actually get a kick out of it, but besides all that I kinda, sorta-" -gets out of range from the device's energy waves- "-feel like that was odd." Sonic stops, wondering why the heck that mush came out of his mouth and Amy slammed her hands on her mouth too, blushing uncontrollably. "What was that!?" she blurts out. In the end, the team find out what Tails has done and as punishment, reversed the effects so only Tails was effected by it. "I secretly made a device to find out what you guys we're thinking and I'm not sorry!" Tails plugged his mouth. "What's going on!?" The team chuckled. "Oh… nothing more than sweet, sweet payback." Sonic evily snickered as the rest of the team joined in. "Guys! Get this thing off of me!" "Not in a million, gah-gillion years." Amy stated, walking away as the others did too. "Oh no! I ate all of Amy's cookies, I think Knuckles smells, Sonic is way to cocky, HEEEELP!"

The whole 'Sonic and Amy' part was because this was a headcanon. But I wouldn't be surprised if the writers found inspiration from it.

Lol, I can't really tell what would happen to be honest, besides Sonic getting embarrassed, hiding his face in his bandanna, and having Tails and Knuckles state how supportive they are of him being with her, with him replying,

"I DIDN'T KISS HER! SHE KISSED ME! GET YOU'RE facts straight…" he would be really mad at first, screaming at them, before rolling around and trying to forget the whole thing, but occasionally… touching his lips and thinking it about it a little too much… and how it felt… and how HE felt as it was happening… and…

Then he'd shake his head and pout, declaring it was nothing and hurting Amy's feelings, who he would then try and console before kissing her back and dashing away, not knowing how to ever face her again.

Then, they would be battling without ever having seen Sonic for a good long while, before he rushes in to save Amy after she falls back and is a little to slow at getting away from a robot's attack.

After saving her, he would try and just ask if he could be friends with her again, and explain that's he not ready for a relationship right now.

He said he thought a lot about it, and wouldn't ask for her to wait for him, thinking it would be too cruel and selfish to ask such a thing.

She says she understands and will wait. forever if she has too. Because she could never deny how amazing it was to know the love of her life loved her back.

He would say he never said he 'loved' her but (still trying to play it off like it was an accident or something) before admitting he had no control over what Amy does with her life and smiles to her before heading back into the battle.

Amy keeps her word, and continually waits for Sonic to be 'ready' for love.

Well, that was a new way of doing a headcanon, huh? xD
