Sonic yawned, getting out of bed and smacking his lips a few times, waking up to get something to drink. He stretched as he walked down the stairs, before rubbing his eyes at some light he saw.
He was confused why a light would be on at this time of night, and walked over to see Amy with Tails's laptop on, flickering in front of her as the battery was getting low.
He squinted his eyes to the couch and walked over, seeing her fast asleep.
He smiled, she had been working on trying to locate a certain ancient site where Eggman was trying to find a buried up power. She wanted to find it first of course, and not let the team down. He closed the laptop, automatically turning it off and got a blanket out and put it over her.
"You really can't just take a breather, can you?" he grinned kindly. Getting his drink, he drank it fast and headed back over to her, picking her up to get her to her own bed.
Walking up the stairs, she squirmed a bit and opened her eyes. "Hmm…hmmmmm?" she softly made the small noise and looked lazily up to him. "Sonic..?"
"Huh? Oh, whoops! Didn't mean to wake you." he smiled, whispering. "Go back to sleep, I'm just taking you to your room." he gently pushed the door open with his leg, and walked in.
"B-but… my assignment…" she rolled her head on his shoulder a moment, seeming to try and get back to work.
"Oh no, you don't!" he flopped her on the bed, but not harshly, just in a funny way. "You've gotta be sharp for that, and right now, you're looking pretty pathetic! haha!" he teased, as she glared a little, but was too tried to bash him for that comment. She yawned, and he chuckled, yawning too. "Yeah, we've both gotta get some sleep." He started walking out.
"…Thank you…" she weakly spoke out, turning over. "Sonic."
He stopped a moment, holding a hand to the frame of his door. "..Yeah,… sure. No problem.." he slowly walked off, thinking that Amy really could use more breaks with all the important tasks the team keeps giving her…
