Boom!Sonamy promt: Sonic and amy go to grab the same item and their hands touch, and they kinda just stare at eachother forever! (fluffehhh) And the team is like "Whats going on? And sticks is like "i got ur back amy!" and shoes everyone out so they have a moment!

In other words, I'm thrilled to get an idea about where to go with this and yes, I'll do it! -rolls sleeves up- here we go!
The gang are having some… fall-outs when it comes to understanding one another.
Sonic and Amy have been on each other's cases quite frequently now, as Sonic wants to be the more 'reckless leader' and Amy doesn't want to back down on her position, thinking Sonic's not a good leader. However, through the episode, it shows that together, they are good leaders, but when ones views threaten the others pride then they combat one another on their different views instead of compromising and finding a balance between reckless and planned out.
"If you just ran in like I said too!"
"Oh, will you quit it already!? We have a good plan, you just wanted all the credit!"
"The emblem!" Tails shouts out, as the two stop bickering to see the circle with a chip that locks it into something important, symbols all around it, fly through the air and head for a crack in the old ruin.
Amy and Sonic instinctively go for it, and both just barely catch it with their pinkies.
They gasp, amazed they caught it, before it starts to slightly slip, and Amy and Sonic realize how delicate the situation really is.
"…Okay…Okay, okay, okay, here's what were gonna do." Amy closes her eyes, trying to think.
"Why don't we just-" Sonic tries to move his hand up.
"NONONONNO!" Amy freaks out as the emblem starts to drop away and Sonic pushes his pinkie back against hers, and the emblem remains. "Sonic, please! don't be such an idiot, not right now!"
"Idiot!? You're the one taking your sweet time, it's going to fall if we don't work this out together!"
"Will you please just-!"
The symbol on the ancient gear glowed, the emblem on it shining.
"…Amy… let's work together, what do you say?" Sonic was staring at Amy, not really noticing the brilliant shine as Amy took her eyes off of it to look at his determined face. "We can do this. WE. We but are heads too much with different views that we don't even realize that we're stronger together! Let's do a little of each idea, let's not worry about whose idea it was and just get. this. done."
Amy stared at Sonic, and slowly nodded her head. He sighed and hung his head down, as they were both over the large crack in the floor and laying down, having slid to reach the artifact. "Oh, thank Chaos. For once, you're not being stubborn with me this time."
"Hey! I don't want to fight with you, you know?! I'm just… I'm scared you're going to get hurt with the way you run things." she admitted, looking away as she felt her strength in her pinkie weakening. "Anyway, we can't hold on much longer!"
"…You're right." Sonic stared at her for a moment longer, before looking down at the gear, it's emblem shining the ancient word of 'Compromise'.
"One.." Sonic stated, as him and Amy pulled a little up with their hands.
"…two!" Amy was just able to get her other finger on it.
"..THREE!" they both said, tossing the emblem up over their heads and both grabbing it with their other hands.
Looking at their two hands clasped together, the gear in-between's light dimmed, and they stared at it, before looking up at one another, gasping for air, and then laughing.
The two hugged a moment, thrilled they did it and worked together, before rushing to fix the ancient device that would save them all.
