Boom!Sonamy prompt: Amy gets captured by a reeallllly evil creepy dude cuz he believes that amy is like is long lost love, and sonic goes to rescue her, defeating all these huge robots and shtuff, but its not his usual attacks, he is tearing everything to shreds. Like dark sonic, but WORSE! (Is this to self explanetory?)

I'VE HAD THIS IDEA FOR SOOOO LONG, but I'm not gonna do the whole 'crazy Sonic' thing. I think I'll just make him worried and want to save her. BUT YES! DARK SONIC WOULD BE FUN, but I think I'll keep the 'evil creepy dude' as 'misguided' because why would he want to hurt his long lost love, you know? Unless he was desperate to keep her, he would just be really emotionally compromised. So let's see what I can do ;)

Long ago, there lived a Man of Spirits.
He was mortal for most of his life, before a monk bestowed him with the gift of spirits, leaving him immortal.
He fought countless battles, and fell madly in love with a Maiden of Pink.
She too, was a warrior on the battlefield, and their love seemed almost legendary to how much they desperately loved and needed one another…
However…
The Spirits, by which he was destined to guard, were under attack in the spirit world. The monk who first gave him his powers, tricked the young lover into going to lead the armies of the spirit world, without telling him he could never return for over 1000 years.
When the Man of Spirits learned of his betrayal, his heart grew grievous and full of misery, longing for his love, and declaring war on all those who would keep him from her.
The spirits were at peace, but now it has been 1000 years, Lyric has fallen, and Eggman now tries to pledge the land, and only one hero can stop him.
Or should I say, one team of heroes…
After a huge misunderstanding, the Man of Spirits is freed, known as Gollifree, as he is still in the prime of what he once looked like, and still holds many powers of the spirits he saved. Bent on finding his reincarnated lover (he strongly believes in reincarnation, only because he's delusional and love sick, making him CRAZY!) and destroying anything that would dare interfere with his search.
Seeing Amy, he is reminded of his former love, and declares her his Queen of Spirits, and captures her, taking her off and hoping to seal her in the realm of Spirits to be immortal and live with him for the rest of all existence.
The team desperately try to save her, but she is right now in the temple, unconscious and clothed in the armor and dress of his former love. Her quills are also a bit longer, as it's only an illusion he made with the power of the spirits.
"Roseilla… you have awaken at last, my love." he softly whispers, as she blinks her eyes and looks around at the beautiful palace she thinks she's in.
She's laying upon an alter, and a ton of rich and fine pillows below her, as he suddenly materializes near her.
She freaks out and falls off the alter, falling onto the pillows below her, and not really looking very happy…
"Roseilla! Are you alright? haha, you must be careful, my love. You are not yet immortal, and therefore, I worry still for your safety." he helps her up as she pushes him away, and looks around her.
"What's going on?! Why am I clothed like this? Who are you!?"
"Roseilla… it's me. Please remember… it's Gollifree… I have returned to you after 1000 years! We can finally be together!" in his disillusion state, he grabs her arms, as she struggles but he won't let her go. "Remember, Roseilla… remember! I used to rest with you after your war nightmares, you used to sing to me during mine own… We danced that night at the celebration and swore our vows under the stars… please… please you must remember!"
"I'm not Roseilla! I'm Amy! I have no idea who you are and I'm not who you think I am!"
"You have to be!"
Sonic came blasting into the old ruined castle as he looked up to see the walls bare and black from time, and not even a roof over the head.
Gollifree's expression turned from one of grief to deep hatred as he looked to Sonic, and pulled Amy back behind him. "Leave. Or I'll make sure you're soul does!" he threatened. "No one will take my love away from me again… I shall not be fooled twice!"
The spirits didn't want too, but obeyed his will and began to surround Sonic, but he stood tall, and didn't flinch.
"..Grk!… WHY DO YOU NOT YIELD!?" He had been fighting off Sonic with his spirit armies and even possessing some of Eggman's fleet to drive Sonic and his team away, but it was no use.
"Gollifree, look at her." Sonic stated, taking a bold step forward, as the spirits rose in fury with their beloved generals rage. "She's not your love. She's dead. She died a millennium ago. Who you see before you is only your wish to have her back. She's gone, Gollifree! You can't just pluck up the first pink girl you see and call her your own!"
"NOOO!" Gollifree blasted the whole area with spirit power, shifting his own being into a raging being of light as he dove toward Sonic. "I SHALL NOT LET HER DIE! YOU CANNOT TAKE MY LOVE FROM ME AGAIN! MONK!" he seemed to be disillusioned into thinking Sonic was the monk from the past, reincarnated to keep his love away from him again. "I SHALL DESTROY YOU!"
After a huge fight, Sonic finally had Gollifree right in front of him, their hands locked into a strength war, when at last-
"Gollifree! Amy is my Roseilla!"
Gollifree's body of light dimmed lightly as he heard Sonic speak those words, and his eyes, made of black aura, moved back in honest sorrow.
"…No…No she is my, Roseilla…Her love for me brought her back to my arms after all these years…" he was shedding tears of pure light, that flowed into the sky like fire's sparks, almost heavenly.
"You know the truth, Gollifree! Her spirit can still be out there, but not here! She's not alive! She's waiting for you in the spirit world and you are betraying her!" Sonic cried out, as Gollifree's being turned back into his once mortal appearance, falling to his knees. "She still waits for you… Tails tried to weaken you in the spirit world, but found her begging him to not destroy you instead…" Sonic remained calm, as Amy held the alter, sitting with her legs to the side, and feeling so bad for Gollifree before Sonic mentioned she was still out there.
"…My love… waits for… me?" the illusion placed on Amy broke, and she was back in her old outfit, and the palace in her eyes was gone to what was really before her.
"Sonic!" She was freed from the spirits hold on her, and so she ran to him, as Sonic smiled and ran to her, still looking pretty serious though, as they embraced. "Oh Sonic! You do care!"
"….Always have…" Sonic mumbled, not liking that he would have to lie to her later and tell her it was all to make him go back to the spirit world. But he would deal with breaking her heart later… he couldn't risk her knowing… the truth of how he felt.
"..Amy Rose… forgive me of my trespasses against you and your lover." Gollifree stood up, a broken spirit who found new hope, as he looked up to the sun. "For years I have never even considered her staying behind and letting her spirit grow restless in search for me… I figured she would of made her heavenly voyage… and waited for me there… not knowing I couldn't depart from my cursed calling…" he looked down and turned solemnly to Sonic and Amy. "Cherish her. You have no idea how short mortality is… and how quickly the things you hold dear and close, the love you create here… how fast it can be taken from you." his tears continued to fall as Sonic felt something tug at him from within, as if his own conscience wouldn't let him break Amy's heart, not with what Gollifree just stated.
"…Amy, the love you have for Sonic, promise me that it will never fade. Even in the world to come." he looked to Amy, grief stricken as to trying to force her to kill herself for him to have her be immortal and pretend the rest of eternity she was his true love, when that would have been so very wrong.
"…I promise." Amy nodded, as Sonic looked to her in amazement, surprised how fast she responded and honest she sounded.
"If you excuse me of my wrong doings to you in this life… I wish to depart and find my reallove now…" he turned and faded into a heavenly light.
From that day on, Sonic couldn't bare to ever lose Amy, but he continued to hide his love, secretly keeping it within his heart, for the day he could truly allow himself to undeniably love her without any doubt in his mind or heart.
(Better than a creepy evil dude right? :D)
