Amy was looking through different things on her communication watch before she suddenly realized she got a text. Sitting up a bit from the couch, she looked to see Knuckles humming and happily making himself a sandwich and scrunched herself back down into the couch, laying down sideways on it and having her head against the arm rest.

She clicked it open, 'Hey, Amy! I see you've got a nice pink shade going on today ;) -Sonic'

She giggled, knowing this was just how he started conversations with her recently, and wondered if it meant anything special. She looked up real quick to see Knuckles pick up the sandwich, lick his lips back and forth, before biting into it loudly as she looked back at her screen.

'That's a cool shade of blue too, dude! What's up? :3 -Amy'

She couldn't believe he was sending her smiley faces back. It was kinda only Amy's signature thing… to send smiley faces in her text messages to the team, and now he was sending them back? With compliments?

'Thank you! But let's be honest, when is it NOT? Ha. Anyway,… you doing anything important right now? Or can you ditch that for a sec? -Sonic'

Amy looked back at Knuckles, who had come over and sat down on the couch. She didn't want him pestering her while she had this private message with Sonic, so she got up and started to speed walk to her room, giggling, but Knuckles turned back and stopped her.

"Whwat'cwha gwiggwling awbouwt?" his mouth full, but she was sure he had said, 'What'cha giggling about?"

"Oh, um.." she jolted slightly, taking her hand with the watch on it and putting it behind her back. "N-nothing! Enjoy your show!" she saw he was watching T.V and just waved him off as she dashed for her room, but bumped into Tails.

"Oh, hey Amy!"

"Uhh…hi." her ears bent down, sad she was STILL being taken away from a possibly cute text to ask her out.

DING!

"Oh, looks like you have a message, who's it from?" Tails leaned over to try and get a look at her arm but she panicked and held it over her head.

"It's nothing!" she quickly pushed past him and ran off.

"Hey!… geez, what's her problem?" Tails walked back into the living room to see Sonic open and close the door, his arm out, looking at his watch. "Oh, hey Sonic-"

"Can't talk. Have plans." Sonic completely blew him off it seemed and speed walked by him.

"Hey Blue-!"

"Not now Knuckles."

"Heh…that was rude." Knuckles had thrown his arm up for a friendly wave, which Sonic usually rushed over and high fived out of a joke they made together, but he didn't this time. "What's his problem?"

Tails shrugged, "I don't know, beats me. But Amy was kinda doing it to-…"

The two looked at each other.

"Ohhhh…" They both said, rising their heads up and smiling.

"Ew." Tails stated.

"Gross." Knuckles kicked his leg up and leaned back, his arms spread and resting on the back of the couch as his sandwich lay half eaten on a plate on his lap.
