Actually, I already did a Baby!Boom prompt before! :D but I can try something with Sonic and 'Rosy' (little Amy) kinda ordeal.
(She's so cute like this tho! /x/ I'm sure in boom, she'd look different, but i want her to still have the quills like that!)
Ever since the time-warp calamity, Sonic has had his hand fulls with a curious and rambunctious little Rascal, Amy's younger self known as Rosy. Amy was pulled through the portal, and since, by Tails's explanation, there can never be two of the same people in the same universe without a paradox occurring, the universe chucked out that time periods Amy Rose. To avoid the paradoxes, it seems the time-warp continued to chuck out different time period characters based on the ones that were flung in, like Knuckles, who now had his rebellious teenage years running around as well.
Tails and Sonic had a plan, to finally get their respected friends back to their proper timelines, but Tails needed time to work.
With Teenage Knuckles being put in Tails's care, it was Sonic's job to take care of little Rosy, since she was so 'attached' to him, after all…
Rosy ran around the hub as Sonic tried to catch her. She would dodge him last second and duck into a crack in the wall or something and start climbing all around, getting herself into dangerous situations that would make Sonic freak out as he tried to keep her from any harm. She once climbed on the ceiling beam before he raced up, held her in one hand, and awkwardly had to figure out how to get back down. (Cat stuck in a tree). Finally, after she nuzzled herself into the crest of his arm and blinked her little eyes up at him, he set her down on a chair and just took a second to breathe and stop having a panic attack.
"Okay, just… um… stay still!" he held his hands out as a gesture for her to stay in place, but she rocked on her chair, looking around, not seeming to want to remain there for very much longer. "Tails… what were you thinking!?" Sonic had an anger mark on the side of his face, upset he was in-charge of a toddler, when she immediately took the chance to jump off the chair and run into the kitchen. "W-what? NO!"
He chased after her, as she ducked to pick up something on the floor and he leaped over her, not wanting to run into her, and fell in front of her. "OFFPH!…ugh…"
She saw him fall and cutely ran over, bending down a little and kissing his nose.
"….Thanks." he annoyingly mumbled, getting up and rubbing his nose, "Yuck!"
Rosy giggled, putting her hands up to her face and swinging her body around as she blushed, before joyfully rushing to the counter, jumping to try and reach something on it.
"Ugh, what do you want now… water? Do you want some water?" He wasn't very good at reading kids, but he always felt he had a knack at impressing them. He gently picked Rosy up and held her a second, as she pawed at a cute little tea cup, that coincidentally, was actually Amy's.
"Oh, you want a little tea party, huh?" Sonic picked the tea cup up and took out his own cup, thinking this could stall time for Tails even more. "Alright, you sit here." he decided to give in, he had been chasing her all day, and trying to avoid making any contact with her as well. Now, he had to just suck it up and give in to the little tike's wishes.
He set her down near the table and got her a pillow to sit on. She cutely jumped backwards to sit in it, and kicked her legs again, before looking up to him cutely and pawing at him to sit with her. "…Uh… me too? I thought I could be the waiter! And a cookie for you, my dear!" he got into character, not wanting to be one of the stuff animals he hurriedly plucked from Amy's secret stash (Yes, he knows where it is lol) and placed them as tea partners.
Getting a plate and stylishly putting a napkin over his arm, like a waiter, he adjusted his bandanna to look more like a bowtie. "Anything else, Lady Pink?" he looked to Rosy who frowned at the name. "Fine, Ma'dam Le Rose. Geez, even at this age, you like it fancy." he rolled his eyes and gave her the cookies on the plate, sitting down when she tugged on his leg for him to do so. "What is it now? Not enough water?"
She giggled, having a mischievous grin on her face as she took the cup, held it elegantly with her pinkie, and seemed to be trying to teach him to do the same. "Oh no!" he set the tea cup down. "I don't know if you've noticed, but I'm actually an older Sonic. and Sonic The Hedgehog, doesn't DO the tea party game." he stated very plainly, before she lowered the cup to show her sniffing and beginning the steps to crying.
"…Oh no." Sonic bent his ears back.
"Okay, Sonic! I'm all ready to-"
Tails walked in before seeing Sonic dressed up like a fairy, waving a wand over the tea as Rosy clapped and he spoke in a higher pitch. The shock of it all stopped Tails in his tracks, horrifying him as teenage Knuckles huffed.
"Heh, I always knew there was a feminine side to Sonic… I just never thought I'd see it."
(I think that ending was a bit of a stretch XD but I do imagine Sonic doing something OVER THE TOP to help a friend stop crying, he hates crying xP I think it would be a sad and touching moment when he would have to say goodbye to her… aw~ but he'd be glad to have an 'adult' Amy back xP at least with her, he wouldn't have to do tea parties! or… dress up for them… anyway xD)
