Sonic Forces x Xenoblade 2 Semi-AU Prompts: Eggman discovers an habitual planet outside the solar system and decided to builds an flouting carnival to gain more profits for his war effort at home. Moving fast to the point to were Sonic, Gaget & friends took back Capital City, Eggman's Forces kidnapped the Aegis known as Pyra, a girl of untold power that could bring ruind to planets. Will Sonic & Co learn about Eggman's plans and will they gain new allies along the way?

Wow! You remembered to put 'what kind of canon' this is! So it's Semi-Au, ehhh..? I'll do my very best! Also, I had to do a lot of hours of research to figure out Xenoblade 2 (Never played it before) and I have to admit, it's a pretty cool lookin' anime game! :Db

In the future though, I probably won't accept prompts I don't know the media too. But since you had submitted before that was released, I'll still do this prompt :)b

Sonic and the gang, using the Blue Tyhoon find themselves chasing Eggman to a planet with large, Titan creatures that roam a cloud-sea where humans dwell upon.

Obsessed with using the Chaos Emeralds to somehow interact with the core crystals found in Blades, Eggman confronts Rex and his gang, separating them in a tragic fall and kidnapping the Aegis known as Pyra.

Sonic and the gang meet Rex and his friends as they save them from the terrible fall.

Eggman's carnival is a horrifying entrapment of different Titans, who Rex comments all look like they're suffering from Eggman's cruelty.

While Eggman tries to connect to Pyra's core crystal, she manifests as Mythra, angrily summoning Siren to try and free herself.

However… Infinite, who had once again stopped the rebel forces on Sonic and the gang's planet, sends a living hologram with Eggman to help the conquer of this next world, and the destruction of humans itself.

Betraying Eggman, Mythra wonders if Infinite is a 'Blade' like herself, but finds as she morphs into Pneuma that she can't connect to him.

He tricks Pneuma into an illusion, so when Rex and Sonic all come to fight Eggman and free her, it is her they are forced to fight!

"Pyrrrraaa!" Rex calls out, but she thinks he's an enemy.

"Hold on," Shadow warns, stopping Rex as he tries to go after her. His friends also hold him back, "It could be an illusion."

"How can it be an illusion?!" Rex protests, "She's right there!"

"You can't just go in all nilly-willy!" Nia also puts a hand on his shoulder, holding him back. "We've got to stick together!"

Pneuma then is tricked into believing Infinite's hologram is Rex, and Infinite fights the team.

"Man, these Blade and Drivers look really cool!" Sonic ends up commenting, and before long, releases a core himself and begins to use one.

Upset by the human-like woman he summoned, Amy demands a Blade too. Soon, Knuckles and Tails also receive Blades alongside her, and their powers grow exponentially.

"Now you're getting it." Gramps smiles, as Rex admits that Gramps used to be a Titan.

"But now, he's in that wee-little form."

"Hey! Rex, you should tell them how awesome I was, besides just talking about how little I am now… Ohh…" Gramps complaints.

"This is fascinating! A whole world with new technology I've never even heard of before!" Tails is enthralled by the possibilities, but so is Infinite…

"Maybe that's a good thing…" Jin, a former enemy, seems to have other plans… Later, he asks Infinite if his power from his own world and core Ruby are enough to destroy humankind or even the Aegis.

Infinite lies to turn the tide, taking Blades as their drivers and having multiple Blades on his side at once.

With the final battle afoot, Sonic and Rex speak about their worlds, what they wish for them… and the future.

"All I've 'ver wanted was for everyone to smile." Rex admits, sitting by the warmth of the fire as they look up from the Blue Typhoon, "I've seen Nopons before, but never… well, creatures like you. I think we're running out of room here to host ya, but if you'd like, we're all heading to that tree." He pointed as Sonic looked up, seeing the structure goes pretty far up into the sky.

"Heh, we have a similar goal," Sonic smirked as Rex turned back to him.

"Do we now?" he asked.

"Yeah." Sonic nodded, "I want my world to smile too, but lately, it hasn't been easy." Sonic sighed, scratching the back of his head. "With Infinite and Eggman running around, it's been difficult. But I heard your friends talk about their land issues. If you ever need a place to stay…" Sonic trailed off, but Rex shook his head.

"I think we're all pretty beat up and scarred from our own wars, Sonic." He nodded to him, as Sonic agreed.

"Fine by me. Then at least… promise to visit?" Sonic tilted his head, gesturing a hand to him.

"Oh, you bet'cha!" he shook it.

The kindred spirit continued as the two finally broke Pneuma free of her illusion as Infinite placed her in what Eggman was working on, a fusion between a artifice and the Egg Dragoon.

Defeated, Rex reunites with Pyra, who transforms back. She's embarrassed, blinking as though not sure what really happened, but was glad to be back with Rex and the others.

"I'm never losing you again!" Rex declared, "That's a promise, Pyra. A real, genuine one at that."

"It's okay, Rex." Pyra tries to comfort, seeing his child-like innocence coming through again. "I'm alright. I'm so sorry, I didn't know what I was doing. I thought you all were…"

"It doesn't matter now." Rex pulled back and turned to Sonic. "These are our new friends, From another world."

"A… another world?" She was surprised to hear that.

Amy, a little envious of how Rex and Pyra were, would occasionally try and flirt with Sonic, but the boy was oblivious to most of her attempts that would needlessly fail with people interrupting them or something.

In the end, the Blue Typhoon took off with Eggman and a defeated Infinite to return to their world… unknowing what Eggman had in store when they got back.

Rex and the others waved their new friends off, amazed by Sonic's super-speed as he fought Jin to help Rex hurry to Pyra, amazed he could survive and still fight under icy zero conditions that normally would break Blade and Driver bonds, but with Sonic, he didn't even need the Blades.

A friendship was formed, and hearts were renewed. If Sonic could stop Eggman on Alrest, he could definitely do it back home!
