Well, I'll do my best! :D

(I find it to difficult to try and keep it canon and cute in a Modern setting, so I'm going for Boom :) I still wonder what they'll allow Sonic and Amy to get away with when it comes to each other, so maybe… just maybe… Amy can be feisty and resist him a bit? You know… play hard to get? We'll see. :) It's not in her character to do so, so she's most likely faking it.)

….how do I even start this off..? I'm so used to building it up… hmm…

Prompt:

The day began with Sonic telling Tails how no woman could tempt him and how he was the true charmer. He claimed he could get any woman he wanted to fall for him.

"Oh?" Amy leaped at the opportunity. "Flirt with me then." Amy stated, as Sonic looked to Amy and grinned.

He leaned up from the couch he was sitting on, back to the back of it where she was, and took her hand. "Amy. I wouldn't want to break a heart so sweet and young. I fear I may have to wait on that,.." he rubbed his thumb against her hand, making her look down and blush, before trying to hold it all in and looked back at him with a more serious and 'unphased' face. "I want to wait for when your ripe for…" he gently placed a finger under her chin, and swiped it playfully away. "The taking." he sat back down as Amy remained still, completely red and unable to move.

She quickly shook it off though, taking a deep breath and trying to get her senses back. Okay… so he was good. A natural flirt, but maybe she could be better…

"You think you're some tough cookie a girl can't crumble?" Amy leaned over the couch, making Sonic look up from his book he picked up after thinking he had won, and raised an eyebrow.

"That's what I've been trying to tell Tails here, Amy." he closed the book, and let it slam on the table out in front of him as he sat up. "It's easy for me to get a girl, but a girl getting me? Ha! Fat chance." he threw his hand up and let it swish down to show how 'little' he thought of it.

"Hmph, I bet you wouldn't say that if you actually were being flirted with.. you've never had a…" Amy moved along the back of the couch and then sat down next to Sonic, leaning closer to him as she smiled, liking where this could be going… "Real woman… ever flirt with you." she was right over him, and placed a hand delicately on his chest, then stroked it up to his shoulder and around his neck, moving closer as she did so.

It could be her lucky chance, after all~

Knuckles walked in with some food he had gathered from the village, but seeing the scene, he let a piece of meat slide out of his japing mouth.

"Heh. Trust me, I've been flirted on before." he moved slightly away, but tried to do so subtlety. Her arm was forced to withdraw from around his neck as he did so, and she moved her mouth slightly to the side of her muzzle, disappointed at his obvious retreat. "And you call me when a real woman shows up."

Amy's face lit up with rage, as her eyes narrowed at his cruel joke.

"But you know what?" he turned his head to her, lifted up his foot to cross his legs slightly, and placed his knuckles under his head to keep it upright on the armrest.

"Hit me with your best shot."

"…Okay." Amy leaned forward, putting her hands to run through his quills, before locking his head into place by pushing her hands up against the sides of his face and kissed him abruptly.

Tails's mouth dropped as Knuckles literally flinched back and stumbled, falling down with the food going everywhere before quickly lifting his head up and looking back at them. A marshmallow bag perfectly balanced on his head with some more groceries laid across his large stomach and chest.

When Amy pulled away, her face was red, but tried to clear her throat and gulped, still putting on a tough girl act. "W-was… ehem, that able to get you,…Sonic?"

Sonic opened his mouth to say something, even having sound coming out before closing it again and pushing his lips together, turning his head from her and slightly glaring at her from the corner of his eye…

He took a hard breath in and got up, furious. "That may have been a bit much." he started, pointing back accusingly to her. He shook himself off, not completely rid of the nerves. "But we'll call this a draw." he then took off out the door.

Tails and Knuckles watched him, still mouth gaped open as they looked back at Amy.

Feeling a little bit self-concious now, she slowly lifted her arms up and moved away from Tails and Knuckles. "I..I think I'll um-Ah! Retire for the night… hehe." she had tripped a bit while moving back, fixing a cushion on the couch before squealing away and dashing to her room.

(… so it's a bit out of canon… But I couldn't really build up to it so-!.. what more could I do T-T)
