2: Sticks is having weird dreams that keep frightening her to death. She's scared to leave her burrow, afraid her dreams were mystical warnings of some kind, before Amy comes along, desperate for some interaction with a GIRL and not dumb guys. Previously, before she came to Sticks her and the boys had a bit of a fall-out, and so she wanted that feminine companionship. "Sticks? What's wrong? Why won't you let me in? Ohh.. after the day I had, I was hoping we could hang out or something… Up for training?" "No way! Nu-uh. To dangerous. Mystic warnings. Gotta obey. Very busy." Sticks opens the door and sticks her head out to say a line, before closing the door again, and repeating this with each line. Finally, Amy sighs and is thinking about leaving before Sticks opens the door and yanks her in quickly. "I changed my mind! Two peoples is better than one really scared people." Sticks pushes up against the door, seeming very frightened by whatever else is behind it. "Uhh… I think you mean person." Amy tries to correct, and then notices her behavior is… well, more off than usual. "Are you alright, Sticks?" "Fine, completely and utterly fine. Safe. Here in my burrow. Nothin' scary. Nothin' lost…" she suddenly gasps. "THE TEAM'S STILL OUT THERE!" she peeks through her window, going on her tippy-toes and scanning the area back and forth rapidly. "Sticks… what are you looking for?" "The mystic beings gave me a sign in my dreams!" Sticks turns around and grabs Amy, looking her dead in the eye. "I can't lose you guys! I gotta save the others!" She runs and gathers her things, but then drops them. "But that would mean leaving…" she shakes her head, "But like they say, if you lose a couple of friends, you lose a couple of friends! And I'm NOT risking that!" she seems to be gathering courage as she marches to the door. She takes a deep breath, and then cowers behind Amy and pushes her to the door. "Eh…hehe, you first." The two then sit and Sticks explains her nightmares. Amy figures out later that a scented candle, fabled to date back many centuries ago, (she is an archaeologist, she would know) has a smell that was used to torture prisioners in jail as they slept with terrible nightmares. They get rid of the candle, and Amy agrees to have a 'sleepover' and stay with her that night. "So.. you'll lay there next to me and make sure I'm not scared?" Sticks asks, as Amy nods her head, laying next to her, she smiles. "Of course! You just close those darling little eyes and I'll fight off any bad dreams that come your way, alright?" "You… you can do that?" Sticks's eyes shine, admiring Amy and feeling loved for the first time. "What are friend's for?" Amy replies, which makes Sticks squeak out an 'aww' and embrace her. "I'm never gonna forget this, Amy! Your the best Rose I've ever met! Even though your not actually related to the plant, your still as sweet as one!" Amy just lets her hug her with an awkward smile on her face as she nervously laughs. Sticks doesn't let go of her till the morning, as Amy feels like a stuffed animal in her arms, but is glad Sticks finally got the sleep she deserved. The next morning, they head back to the boys, as Sticks clings to Amy, feet off the ground and everything as she hangs on her side, praising her. "And she slept with me and so I slept like a eight-tailed baboon with a passion fruit in it's mouth! haha!" (End :) )

What couls happen if Sonic nd Amy had a game together, and throughout the game, there are subtle hints that Sonic might be developing feelings for Amy, now the hint's are right in your face, and i guess Sonic was also complaining about how he wanted adventure for himself, but when Amy said she was leaving, he tries to explain why he's been so mean to her (bc he likes her) get inspired by the scene in ratatouille! (minus the rat,& kiss)

…what do you mean imaginary when they have a game together?! I…Is she a figment of his imagination!? (Seriously confused) and Sonic isn't as.. well.. dorky and quirky as that scene you sent me with him and the chef girl. Sonic would try and act cool, keeping face, while he tried and expressed himself (which wouldn't be an easy thing for him, mind you, a LOT would needed to happen and be hinted at.) Sega doesn't like direct 'in your face' hints, so that's a issue, but I'll do my best to keep it canon :)
I've always wanted a game where it's kinda just Sonic and Amy and they bond slowly and cutely over the adventure. Sonic is kinda jerkish to start, not wanting her to be his sidekick, but learns to have a lot of fun with her while saving the world! But I can see where Amy would get hurt by him or something he said and start to solemnly walk away before he stopped her.
I'm going with your idea of a game and the 'before the climax' or 'just before you reach final boss stage' thing where they really form this tight-nit bond and then come in at their strongest against the bad guy. *takes a deep breath*
Okay, here I go!
Prompt:
"If it weren't for you, I would of caught him before he dashed off and caused all these problems in the first place! Heh, Damsel in distress.. more like Damsel's cause distress!" Sonic finally lost his patience and temper, after all they've been through, this one little argument had gone and destroyed everything they just achieved together.
you could call it their first real fight.
Amy's angry expression suddenly softened as she looked incredibly hurt by his words, even though she had said some mean things too, she never said anything quite to that level that he just did. "You… you really think I'm just a damsel in distress?" her eyes looked his face over a billion times, as if desperately trying to find a lie in his words, praying those words weren't true. "…Sonic… you really think all I am is a damsel for you to save? What about all we've been through today!? All we've been through before! I.." she suddenly backed down, as he turned to see her suddenly stop and pause. He had been facing her with his back, arms folded, looking down and just kinda fed up. Eyes narrowed and scanning the ground, before…
"…Alright… I'm sorry I slowed you down."
His mouth dropped a bit from his deep frown to a a softer one, as he moved his eyes to look back over his shoulder.
"…I'll go now.." she started to turn away.
Sonic's head shot up and his eyes moved forward, "Wait! No!" he broke from his old mold and turned with a reaching hand.
Amy stopped walking to look back at him, as his eyes looked afraid to lose her, mouth slightly open as if he wasn't expecting her to say that she'd leave him.
"I..I didn't mean to hurt you…" he grew shy, turning his head away and withdrawing his hand to his head, scratching it before letting it drop.
The sunset faded to night, with barely any light out and not even a breeze.
He slowly dropped his hand from his head, and let his arms hand to his side as he looked away from her. "You know… this isn't what I'm used too." he suddenly chuckled lightly, "I mean, I've never really… well, all this time I've known you, I haven't really known you. Not until all this went down and happened out of no where." he lifted his arms up, explaining the funny thing in motions of his arms before placing one of his hands on his hip.
"…I… I wouldn't want it to end." he slowly moves his head to look at her again, as she seems to taken aback by his words to speak.
"..I really like getting to know you… Amy."
He smiled his signature grin, but his eyes looked much softer than usual, as he had never really given her that kind of expression before.
He slowly kicked up his feet and walked closer to her. "…I'm sorry and… I don't want to do this alone. I can be an idiot sometimes but… You deserve better than that."
He shook his head and was finally facing in front of her. Out of shyness and nervousness, he rocked on his heels, trying to remain calm before looking up and trying to shake the nerves off, smiling to her and looking her dead in the eye. "Let's take ol'Egg-dummy down." he had used her insult for Eggman, one he had laughed at, but he was the one to encourage her to use some 'friendly' banter on the battlefield in the first place!
She giggled at his reference, but shyly looked to the ground, remembering her failure.
"Together." he lifted his arm, offering a brotherhoodly hand grip that he usually did with Tails. (Or Mario at the Olympic games XD)
She smiled, giggled and felt a small tear fall from her face. Overwhelmed that he would say so much, even that he's wrong and sorry, just to get her to stay.
"Of course, you silly willy!" she spat out, wiping the tear away, "I mean, couples have their fights too, but they always stick together in the end! Especially when it's meant to be!" she clasped his hand with both of hers, and he stepped back a bit. 'Uhh…'ing in nervousness and awkwardness of her words, he just looked away and shook his head, laughing.
"Amy?" he gave her a quick look, "Don't ever change." he let another laugh out before trying to free his hand, which Amy didn't allow, shaking her head and going 'Nuh-uh' and then giggling.
He sighed, shaking his head to her in disapproval but didn't do anything more, he ran ahead with her holding his hand with both of hers, trying to keep up behind.
