Hey can I as for a special request..? Uhm, I know we all love sonamy ,everyone's otp as well as mine and I really do love your cute stories but uh...I'm trying to get over someone and I was wondering if you could maybe make a story where Amy moves on..? Or where they except that they can't be together and that's it's okay. I know it's not very modern but maybe boom..? You don't have to but I hold her dear to me and wonder how she would handle a break up/ getting over someone...

Precious baby ;D; W-well… I can, but Sonic Team has stated Amy would never get over Sonic.. she would never move on and tirelessly pursue him.

However…

In Sonic Boom and in other games, in Modern, Amy mentions she knows Sonic would never really stop for her, but she's just happy being with him, or at least, close to where he is. She loves adventure too, and being on an adventure with him and supporting him is good enough for her.

So based on that canon feeling in her, I'll try and help ya out :3

(I'm sorry if this doesn't help… but I'm planning to try and have someone tell Amy Sonic's not interested in a relationship (Most likely Eggman to mock her) and Amy responding saying it doesn't matter, and she'll always be by his side anyway. Because no matter what, first and foremost, she is his closest friend. And though she wants more, she's happy with just being around him. Good enough? -bites nails, worried you wanted something that might be non-canon- I'm getting as close to the lines as I can, love! TAT )

"BWHAHAHAAH! You really think all your efforts to catch Sonic are REALLY going to work?! Fat chance, sweetheart. You're more likely to catch a passing breeze~" Eggman taunted, as Amy tried to hold him off while she promised Sonic to give him some time to save the world.

"Hmph." she puffed up her cheek, but didn't seem to phased by it. "You think love is just being romantic together? Or having someone say they love you all the time? Cause I'm happy to say it's not!" Amy spat out, as she held her hammer threateningly in front of her.

"Uh-hum-wha?" At Amy's strong stance, Eggman looked slightly taken aback by her not reacting the way he thought she would… "Wait… Are you saying you know he doesn't-?"

"I'm not saying anything. Only that I know how Sonic is… and who he is… and I know he would never change that for anyone…" Amy looked down a moment, before placing a hand on her heart, and closing her eyes a moment. "But even still… No one is meant to be alone… and even if Sonic never asks me on a date on his own, I won't give up, but I won't force him into anything more either… Sonic is my friend! And though I care about him deeply, I know he has a job to do, and a life he wants to live and protect. I would NEVER get in the way of Sonic's happiness! I only want him to be happy, and I'm fine just knowing he cares about me, and that I'm his friend. Who said I can't be around him? Who said I can't have moments with him? Just because we're not, uhh… officially together as a couple, doesn't mean we can't every see each other again. More than anything I know Sonic doesn't want to lose me, and that's all I ever need! To know that to him, I'm still special and important, I'm still a dear friend, and I won't ever leave Sonic's side or disappoint him! Especially in letting you get away!" Amy jumps up and bashes down on the robot, as Eggman slightly wobbles back in his giant robo-mech.

"Baaa-! Grah! Well, It's not like I really care about what happens with you two anyway! And if I can't get you to leave, willingly, in tears… then I'll have to create them myself! Ha!" He originally was going to use Amy's love for Sonic to get her to be so wrapped in her emotions that she'd cry away and not fight him, but Amy had held her ground and not backed down, leaving him no choice but to truly fight the girl.

"Bring it on! I won't let you stop Sonic from doing what he loves most. And that's saving the world, and defending his friends!" Amy felt the same, and quickly raced up to finish the battle!

At the end, Sonic and the others were celebrating, as Amy ran up to them, but stopped at a distance, leaning against a tree and seeing her friends so happy together, and Sonic's smile…

"Emm… even if I know it's fate we're meant for each other… that doesn't mean you have to abandon what you love, Sonic… And I know you. And so…" she turns a little, still smiling as she kicks the ground, and sighs. "I'm happy just knowing you care about me… maybe it's not what I wished or wanted you to feel for me… but it's something, and it's special to me… so … I'll always be here for you, Sonic. If you ever change your mind… but then again… when does the wind ever changes it course?"

Sonic suddenly stopped celebrating and looked around, a little worried for a moment before he saw Amy in the distance, and smiled. Waving to her, he wondered why she wasn't running up to him like always.

Seeing Sonic waving, her head shot up and she quickly gave him a happy grin, and raced over to join her friends. Knowing she was still loved and cared about, no matter what the future brought, she was still happy, because all her friends were together, and she knew everyone was safe and happy too, just like her!
