They bicker like brothers, I swear. Rivals to the end. It's hilarious how much Sonic gets under Shadow's skin, and I guess, vise-versa too.

These two are always at war with their ideas and trying to 'out-cool' the other it seems. Shadow just hates Sonic's personality like his rash behavior and thinking, and Sonic just hates Shadow's seriousness and also seeming like he thinks he's better than everyone else.

(Game canon is fun to have these two bicker, so here you go~ Conflicting Sonic and Shadow fun time!)

"Shadow, Sonic, have you made it inside the Egg-fleet?"

"Affirmative. We'll take it from here." Shadow answered Tails, who was talking through Sonic's watch, as Sonic bounced on his feet, punching the air, and looking ready for action.

"Yeah, no problem, Tails! We've got this in the bag." Sonic turned his watch off and started walking with Shadow, looking to him with a playful grin on his face. "Yo, lighten up buddy. This isn't Armageddon. We'll be in and out before old Eggface checks all his nose hairs." Sonic teased from just a little ways behind him, slowing his step purposefully to speak with him.

Shadow quit walking as he shook his head, groaning in annoyance, and turned to Sonic. "Stop acting so carefree. You're friends lives are at stake, along with millions of innocent lives. And you expect me to jump around on my heels like some idiot, thinking he's on some stupid little adventure game again?"

"Ha! You said again. Implying I'm always succeeding at stopping dooms day." he gestured around a bit with his hands before pointing to Shadow, and walking past him. "And that's why I'm always happy. After all, I'm the one always saving the day…" he shrugged then, shaking his head down as Shadow glared at him moving by him. "Ah, I remember a time when you were the one endangering millions of lives, Shadow. And all it took was some little girl to give you a pep-talk to change your mind." he stretched his arm out by rotating it, holding it with his other hand before feeling Shadow's angst build behind him, and smirked even more as Shadow called back to him, stepping forward.

"I learned my mistake! When are you ever going to see the error of yours?"

Sonic's smirk and confident attitude all but jumped off his face as his eyes grew wide, his mouth turning into an 'o' at Shadow's statement, as he turned around with fire in his eyes.

"Now you listen here.." he strode up to Shadow's face and glared at him, his teeth gritted shut by Shadow's words. "I'm the one that saves lives, you only endanger them. Where have I gone wrong?"

"Are you two arguing again?"

The two turned to see the watch flickering on, as Tails looked unamused on the screen.

"Do you two forget we have a limited time to shut down the power surge?"

The two were looking at the watch, before back at each other with death glares.

"Quit ease-dropping, Tails. We said we'd get it done." Sonic made sure to turn off the watch this time. "Worry wart."

Shadow 'hmph'd and walked past Sonic again, this time, only taking a moment to pivot back to him. "I've lived a dark past, Sonic. And I've made up for my wrongs with as many rights as I can. But how about you? Have you ever righted any of your wrongs?"

"What's that suppose to mean? I'm Sonic The Hedgehog!" he pulled out a cool signature pose. "I don't do no wrong." he smugly stated, flicking out his wrist in a confident way as he strutted by Shadow before they zoomed off, hearing Shadow groan again at Sonic's demeanor.

"I'm sure your friend Amy could give you a few."

"Watch it."
