super256colors asked:
psssttt! can you do a zelink something or other? preferably cute hyrule warriors but just any cute teen/adult zelink, maybe something cute in a meadow with epona
cutegirlmayra answered:
YES.
THANK YOU FOR THE PROMPT.
AND YES.
(So cute!)
Making sure the area was secure, Link was assigned this afternoon to guard the castle's rim from any monsters that dared to come near.
Having been spooked by a rabbit, he just tried to remain calm and watchful of his surroundings.
Holding his sword out in front of him, he looked down and slightly missed his Master Sword. Sighing, he looked back up to suddenly see Zelda standing in front of him, smiling cutely as he jolted back, "Whaa-ah-ah!"
She giggled, "Hello, Link!" she chimed, before stepping back and leaning on her other leg, trying to hold some 'regal princess' manner to herself again. "I saw you thinking about something, from the looks of it, you must of been fond of the memory."
He slowly turned his head to the side, smiling weakly with some sweat on the side of his face. He was thinking of her hands, helping him jab the Master Sword back in it's resting place…
the blush vanished from his face as he shook his head and knelt down, politely, showing respect for her crown as he should of done a moment ago.
"Oh, it's alright. No ones around, so y-you're fine… you don't have to always be so kind around me. But I do appreciate it." She looked away, liking how formal he was but kinda wishing he would be more himself around her.
He looked up, a boyish embarrassment coming on as he quickly got up and scratched his head, looking away again.
The two were so cutely awkward around the other, but it clear there was a strong bond there.
"Link, I was actually hoping I could ask you for something." she leaned forward a little bit, holding her hands together and up in a begging way. She tilted her head with a 'Em~' sound, "I was wondering if, when you're done with you're shift, you could accompany me to the meadow. I know we just defeated Ganon and his men, but I would feel a lot safer knowing the hero was beside me."
Link's face lit up, as he nodded immediately. "Em!" he agreed. A pleasant getaway meadow with the Princess Zelda? Sign him up! He would protect her while also getting to see another side of her, which, quite frankly, he really wanted to see her play and dance around without so much stress from the battles before. She could be rest assured now that with him and the others by there sides, that Hyrule would be safe.
To express this feeling, he placed his hand up to his heart, and thumped it, nodding and showing his determination to keep the peace of not only Hyrule, but Zelda's warm smile as well.
Zelda was a bit surprised by the action, moving back a little surprised, before laughing and nodding. "I'm so pleased to hear that from you, Link! I hope you might lower guard a little too and join me for my walk. I would love to get to know you more…" she looked down and away for a moment, before rolling her eyes back up to meet his, lowering her head shyly as Link tilted his own, confused on her sudden shift of cheery attitude to now… very coy meekness and shyly cute demeanor…
She giggled again, holding a hand up to her face to hide her adorable blush from leaking through her cheeks. "Whelp! I'll see you later this evening! I know it will be a little dark out though.." she looked up to sky, as Link followed her gaze. "But you'll be there, so I won't need to be worried, right?" she looked back to him, a slight test, as he looked back to her.
Freaking out, he realized she was indirectly asking him if she'll be safe with him. Shaking his hands out in a flustered way, he quickly assured her she'd be completely safe, and he wouldn't let anything hurt her in the late afternoon of the day…
"Hehe, I'm glad to hear that." she bounced a little forward to him, and leaned back to look more like a young girl and lose her 'princessy' and formal look.
"Zelda!" Impa called from atop the castle walls.
Zelda looked up with Link, as she quickly waved him goodbye, "I'll be waiting for you!" she quickly whispered out, and ran to greet Impa. "Coming!" she called, as Link watched her run off, and slightly tilted his head to the side with a smile, letting some air out and thinking she was probably the cutest and silliest girl he'd ever known.

super256colors asked:

cutegirlmayra answered:
Sorry, I love cliffhangers XD I don't like it when it's done to ME persay, but I love to do it to in my own stories x3 Part 1 (x)
Link tried to look his best, fiddling with his attire before finally just sighing and forgetting it. He strode out the castle walls and looked around, before calling for his horse.
Epona rode up with her song being played by a stringed instrument, and dashed right by him, as he quickly dodged and wobbled back to the side a moment, shocked to find that behind him was Zelda.
The princess was stringing her harp, and had on a very lovely dress, not her usual warrior attire. She put the harp down to her side and lightly stroked Epona's head, as Epona nodded her head and huffed a little, being pleased with the affection.
"…ah." Link was taken aback by the sight. Two of his favorite girls getting along, he hadn't even know Zelda to know Epona. (In this continuation.)
"Hehe, why are you so shocked? I hear you play her melody almost every evening to feed her." She explained, before taking Epona's reins and bringing her to him. "Here you go!" she tilted her head cutely, and held out her hand with the reins.
"Ah,..em." Link nodded, smiling and thinking himself odd to have been so surprised. He took Zelda's hand only to get the reins, but the exchange was still made as Zelda pulled her hand back lightly after he took the reins and held it to cover a bit of her face again, blushing…
"S-so… Shall we be off to the meadow then?" she asked, holding her hands now behind her back and looking up to him. She was really trying not to come off as just a Queen to him, but a girl he could relate to. As the hero, she was very interested in getting to know him.
For some reason… she felt strangely pulled to him, but in a good way.
She shook off the feeling quickly though, as she didn't want this day to turn awkward when she noticed a hand come down in front of her, and she stepped back a moment in puzzled surprised.
Looking up, she saw Link looking down, closing his eyes and tilting his head into his smile as he offered to help her onto Epona.
The light of the sun was behind him, highlighting his golden hair as his scarf blew gently to the side with his hair.
As Zelda marveled at his beauty for a moment, hand paused from reaching up to his own, Epona grew anxious and uneasy with the still moment and nodded her head up abruptly.
The noise snapped Zelda out of it as she shook her hand and grabbed Link's, making a startled sound of confirmation. "R-right."
They strode off on Epona to the meadow, coming to a far field on top of a lazy hill with sprinkles of flowers here and there, but not completely surrounding it.
Faron woods was just up ahead, but they decided to not venture into it yet.
Getting down from Epona, Link petted her and let her graze as Zelda took in the free and slightly cold air, stretching.
"Ah! It's so good to get out and move about from that rusty old castle sometimes!….Oh! Not like I dislike it or anything, but it can get dreary sometimes.." she corrected herself, not wanting Link to think she hated the castle grounds, as that was certainly not the case. "I've lived their almost all my life… but I really love stepping out of my home to explore my kingdom… meet my people… enjoy the wonders that are right outside my castle doors… I suppose that sounds a bit like I don't like it there, but I do. I just like a change of scenery every now and then!" she giggled, turning around to address him as the sun began to set.
He looked back to her and nodded. The castle was somewhere he trained, and although him and his friends lived there as well, he wouldn't really consider it his home.
He looked out on the plain meadow, but still, in his eyes it held so much beauty and splendor. Sometimes, the simple things are the most beautiful.
"Ah.. I agree!" Zelda responded to his hand gesture toward the meadow, getting excited as he seemed to understand what she had meant. She ran up to him and leaned forward toward him, making him get a little startled and lean back towards Epona a bit. Although… he liked her energy, he was just nervous with how close she seemed to be getting lately… not that it was… you know… a bad thing just… pleasantly different than what he was used too. "Link! Do you think you can have fun with me today? Just before we go back?" she placed her hands together, as he tilted his head to the side, not understanding what she meant, as he thought they were already having fun together.
"Hehe! No, no! I mean, um…" she looked slowly around, before lighting up at seeing the small gentle hill. "Like this! Weee!" she tumbled down the hill, as Link freaked out, dashing to try and see her over the hill as she had tumbled out of sight, and worried him. On he knees, he looked down to see her roll to the bottom, laughing with grass all over her, as she waved for him to follow.
"Come on!" she encouraged. "It's great!" she rolled back on her back.
Link was immediately smitten by her actions, blushing and smiling at her cute and playful attitude. As he was so accustomed to her 'princess formality' he was slightly honored to see that she was letting down those formalities to show him the real her.
Getting pumped to not disappoint her by staying to 'knightly' himself, he got up, and jumped to flip and spin in the air a moment, before falling down and rolling on the hill.
He wasn't entirely trying to show off, but more or less, just let go and have fun with it, like she had wanted him too.
She laughed as he rolled down beside her on his stomach, looking up to the side of her and down at her face, as she covered it with the back of her hand, laughing and not wanting him to see her face grow red from how much fun she was having.
It was actually a cute pink, but Link didn't mention it, seeing as she was trying so hard to conceal it as she rolled to her stomach as well, and hid her face, still laughing but losing it as she went along. She looked up at last and smiled, before stating, "I'm really glad you came with me, Link. Impa has been making me do a lot reforms and paper work lately… I'm done sighing my name! I want to continue having fun, at least for now, before I start that all up again tomorrow." she was quite the mischievous girl, and that worried Link a little bit, but he was glad he was with her. At least then, she would be well taken care of if she did wonder off into trouble, and he was proud that she saw himself as someone she could trust so much.
"Alright!" She got up, dusting herself off and pointing to the meadow. "Let's wash up!"
Finding a stream down the path, they washed their faces and hands off all the dirt and grass that got in their hair and such, just at the water's edge, before Zelda stood up, walking behind Link. "Oh…Link?" she slowly moved around him, and bent down.
"Huh?" he looked up to her, before she pushed him into the water, and ran a ways from the edge. "Ahh!"
"Haha!"
"emm.." he grumbled, getting out of the water and trying to shake his damp clothing dry. "Ah! Heegh!" he was shocked to see her stick her tongue out and wink to him, before he charged her, and she ran away laughing in a bit of playful fear at being caught.
Running through the woods, she moved her dress to try and climb a tree, but she was too slow at it. Link stopped to see her trying to get away and looked around, stepping back, he rushed forward and jumped from a large rock, to a tree trunk, and then grabbing a branch she was next too on the tree.
Spooking her, she screamed playfully and climbed down, jumping and rushing off as Link felt the branch start to break. "Ah..ahayayayah!" He ended up falling down, swirls in his eyes when he landed on his back, before shaking it off. "Ita-ita-ita!" he leaned up and touched his back, having hurt it a bit as Zelda rushed up to him, kneeling down to him in front.
"Link! Are you alright?" she pulled out a handkerchief from a secret pocket in her dress and gently rotated his body to the side so she could tend to any wounds that might have been caused.
"Ah…ah!"
"No complaining! This is partly my fault, and I intend to take responsibility for it. Now, hold still!" she applied pressure to his side, as his back was just hurt but a cut was made the side.
"Itai!"
"S-sorry! I have to stop the bleeding though…"
"Emm…" Link blushed, looking away as Zelda took his hand and moved it to hold the handkerchief in place.
"Don't worry, it's a small cut. I'm just happy it's nothing like what Ganon's men could of-" she stopped herself, looking down sadly as she wanted to try and forget those unhappy times… So many lives were lost…
"…" Link placed a hand on her shoulder, as she shook her head and wiped her eyes from tears that dared to cross them.
"Em-mm, I'm fine." she shook her head, smiling up to him. "I'm just glad you're not hurt."
Finding Epona again, the duo rode off back to the castle, Zelda keeping careful mind as to not hold him to tight around the waist because of his cut, but was glad he still allowed her to hold onto him.
After all, Epona made some powerful strides!
