I have a prompt! Modern! Any situation you can think of where Sonic gives Amy a kiss?(but like..on the cheek, because I think those are more adorable anyways) Like one of those unexpected sweet moments or maybe even encouraging last words before their seemingly impending doom? Thank you~ (and if not, switch the parts, but I really want Sonic to do it..but UGH..WHY IS HE SO DIFFICULT?!)

HE IS DIFFICULT, I KNOW RIGHT!? UGH. Sonic makes me SO MAD sometimes, but lol, I think I can do something for you :3 (And yes, kisses on the cheek are SO MUCH BETTER in my opinion XD because it's that awkward shyness of not being too confident just yet to go for the 'full kiss' that makes it adorable, no? x3)

It's just… so freakin' HARRDDD… to get Sonic to feel that way.. Or even DO the ~kiss-kiss~ cause that's like, a terrible thing in Sonic's mind. He's not scared of it, he just is awkwardly unliking of it XD lol
An adventure beaten and done, but words said that could not be taken back. Amy stands off to the side and watches Eggman's latest doomsday machine blowing up in a bombardment of explosions as it falls apart a long ways away from where she stands. She holds her hands up to her face, tears falling gently as she squeezes her eyes shut.
"He said he's coming back… he said he wouldn't leave me alone… he said he'll take care of me… he promised to come back… he promised… and he's never broken a promise before!" Amy speaks as though she's trying desperately to not have her heart fall apart into pieces. Sonic was still on that machine… did he get off? She wouldn't allow herself to think he hadn't.
Mumbling again and again to herself that he was safe and coming back to her, eyes still closed, a gust of wind came from behind her, but she barely felt it with all the feelings of dread coming up in her, as she hoped and prayed he was safe.
Sonic's eyes grew soft as he heard her mumblings, and walked closer up to her from behind.
"He's coming back… he's safe and sound.. he's not even hurt, and Tails was there to make sure he was okay, and… and…" she was about to collapse onto her knees.
A moment before, Sonic had chaos controlled her out of the machine, and told her he'd be back, and that there was nothing to fear. He went back and finally defeated what seemed to be an impossible enemy.
Having Tails catch him as he jumped to get out of the machine, Tails flew him down and he told him he had to check on something.
Rushing up to Amy now, he couldn't help but feel for her with her wishing and praying for his safety, trying to convince herself he was alright and there was no reason for her tears.
Hating to see her in such dismay, and especially in tears, he sped up to catch her before she fell down forward, and held her back up and in his arms.
She was turned around by him and he pressed her more against him, his face hidden by the angle of the camera as we just saw Amy's top half from her nose up, as her eyes shifted left and right from being startled, before she heard.
"…It's alright… Amy. I've… I've come back."
Amy's eyes widened as she clung to him and cried, "Sonic! Sonic, I knew you were alright! I knew you wouldn't lie to me! Sonic! Sonnniccc!" she was so happy, so relieved, Sonic just let her cry to get rid of all those terrible feelings of loss she had felt before as she finally started to calm down a bit.
"…Amy?" he pulled her gently away from him, as she wiped her eyes and looked up at him. "…Smile." he gestured his hand to his own face, and smiled for her.
Her face lit up, with a big open grin, she then closed her eyes and mouth as she smiled back to him, tilting her head cutely. "Em!" she replied, "I'm just so glad you're alright.."
"Heh, I know."
"Don't you ever scare me like that again, Sonic The Hedgehog! Do you understand?!" she held her hands in fist in front of her, ducking behind them as she felt she needed to hear him promise her that.
"….." he stepped back, as she blinked her eyes opened and looked up.
He was looking away, back at something to the side, as her gaze followed slowly, and she turned her head. "W-what is it?"
He quickly leaned over and gently kissed her cheek after her head was fully turned, his hand reaching up slightly but stopping as he sped off with a smile.
"You're never wrong, Amy. I'll always be here. You don't have to convince yourself of my honesty. Just know… I'll never leave you alone. I'll always be around when you need me. So please, don't cry, alright? Haha, you're cute when you smile! Do you know that?"
With his words echoed through the wind, the camera was zoomed up on Amy's face, the only thing you could see was her muzzle, as her hand lifted up and touched her cheek gently. Her mouth was slightly opened before she nodded into a smile. "Em." she agreed again, a tear rolling slightly down her cheek, as she tilted her head toward and into her hand.
"I know."
(There, more canon than I thought. But eh, it's hard to get Sonic to be emotional, so whatever just happened before then, WAS REALLY BAD ON BOTH OF THEM. lol, as in, Sonic really thought he was gonna die! D: anyway, hope you liked it! ;3 I love modern!sonamy~)
